Similar to the number solitaire game, Sky-jo requires players to think strategically to Win. With its simple rules and engaging gameplay, it has become a tycoon in the world of number card games, enjoyed by players of all ages and skill levels.
How to Play:
Deck: 150 cards, with values ranging from -2 to 12.
Deal: Each player gets 12 cards, arranged face down in a 3×4 grid. The remaining cards form a draw pile, with one card placed face up next to it to start the discard pile.
Reveal: Each player flips two of their 12 cards face up.
Gameplay
Turn Options: On your turn, you can either: Draw the top card from the draw pile. Take the top card from the discard pile.
Actions: After drawing or taking a card, you can replace the drawn card with one of your face-down or face-up cards. The replaced card goes to the discard pile.
Discard: Discard the drawn card without replacing any cards. You must flip one of your face-down cards face up instead.
End Turn: Your turn ends after discarding a card or replacing one of your cards.
Ending the Round
Condition: The round ends when a player has all their cards face up.
Scoring: Players reveal all remaining face-down cards. Add up the values of all face-up cards.
Special Rule: If the player who ended the round has the highest score, then that player's score is doubled. Otherwise, scores are added as they are.
Winning the Game
The game continues till someone reaches 100. The player with the lowest total score at the end of the game wins.
Additional Rules
Column Bonus: If all cards in a column are the same value, they can be discarded automatically.

This game is so frustrating. We rarely get through a game because of how it freezes.
Cards get randomly stuck on the draw pile. Sometimes you get stuck watching your countdown timer tick, but you cant play the cards (but you can activate emoji!). Tonight it played people in random order near the end of the game, and we got to play cards twice in a row after it skipped the previous person. Very frustrating. Id actually pay money if this werent so poorly written.
Its a very fun game but we think when a player times out 3 times in a row they should be booted and remaining players continue to play.
The app has a tendency to freeze during games when using online option.
We love Sky-Jo. We play it with cards at home and all our grands love it too. We really enjoy playing it on our phone, but would happily pay for the app NOT to have to watch the ads after each game.
We love the game but this app is constantly freezing up, and commercials r ridiculous.
We cannot find a way to get rid of Ads and they are constant after like every round its like a 2 min long ad. Please fix other than that its a great game.
The game sky-Jo is perfect for a mobile setting, and the one thing this app does very well is let you play with your friends easily through temporary game servers. The gameplay is fun although some of the AI decisions make no sense, with no apparent way to adjust difficulty settings. The worst thing about this app? The ads. There are so. Many. Ads. And they play after every game. They play when you open the app. They play if you dont start a game within a short time of opening the app. And theres no paid version, or paid subscription. So you are subject to the ads if you want to play this game on mobile. We would gladly pay a subscription to play without ads.
The app constantly crashes and if that happens when joining a game, the coins disappear. Pretty frustrating for a game thats fun to play.
The Sky-Jo game is fun and not easy to win against real people. The app and ads are awful. There is a coin wager system that is completely pointless. The coins max out at 2 billion something and we were able to reach that in about a week. Silly. Then we played an online game after maxing our coins out, made about a 20% wager, got a reward, watched a video to triple our reward, then got back to Home Screen and our coins were at ZERO. NO COINS. Several times we lost our wager when online games froze or timed out. Very buggy, too many ads. We miss the days of being able to simply purchase an app and have no ads. Deleting this app.
When AI is used it makes stupid moves making the game unrealistic. Connection to game is sporadic. Even with solid wifi diconnects happen frequently. Could be a great game with improvements in these areas.
We play win a lot and it goes to zero coin. We have to get out if game come back and its the same amount we started with. Whats going on.
Just want the game functionality without annoying ads or animations. Would pay, cant see a way to do so.
Just won our 50th game and our coins went down to zero.
We were addicted to this game..and we mean addicted. But at one point we go so many coins..so many that it reset to zero. ZERO!! We lost all of our progress. Also soo many ads. We put so much effort in for it to reset when you get so high?!! We immediately lost our interest, what's the point of spending so much time into something that will just be gone "poof". Made us realize a lot.
So, basically half of the games freeze or malfunction. Its actually been worse since the latest update.
We love this game and enjoy playing it despite its bugs but we feel like that chat function needs to be deactivated. It is clearly not well thought out when you cannot report abusive behavior or annoying people. We think this game is fun but the chat feature needs to go! Is there a way to deactivate chat.

Love the game but you need to put some kind of instructions for crazy skyjo. What flashes there the first time you play isnt enough! Its too fast.

Game needs to drop people from games when they stop playing for 3 turns. It gets boring when that happens.

We love this card game. We play this irl often. We just wish we could bet larger amounts without having to tap in increments of 100.
The game isnt too bad, the only complaint is the random doubling of scores. The devs say its fixed but that hasnt been the case for us as of today, 11/9/2024.
The game is super fun, but several bugs that need sorted out. When you minimize during a live game, it takes forever to reconnect. Sometimes it glitches when taking a turn.
We love playing Sky-Jo but every time we play, someones board glitches and we have to cancel the game. Everyone loses their coins and that stinks. We are looking for a different creator.
There needs to be a way to kick out players that go missing and keep everyone else hostage for the rest of the game waiting for them to play. Or shorten the wait time. Its awful. The game is fun otherwise but it does freeze a lot too.
So this is super fun to play online. We play it nightly. But as soon as someone quits and the AI takes over its AWFUL. The ai in this game is so so so bad. Im constantly having to quit games when someone disconnects.
This game could be great – but the programmers need to fix the bugs. The major two are (1) the app hangs when you attempt to create a live game and (b) the app hangs mid game causing you to miss turns (bots take over) or you never get back in. We would also suggest you create more competitive bots- they make nonsensical moves, and there needs to be a way to deal with slower players (some of which are due to the hung app – so fix that first and it will likely eliminate some slow players.
This game is so much fun but something needs to be done about the slow players. Can you make it so that if auto play kicks in three times in a row, the person is automatically booted from the game? It is really annoying and time consuming to keep waiting for someone to play the entire game. Also, can you adjust the wait time so that it takes less play a card? This could easily be a 5 star game if some of the kinks were fixed.
We love the game and most of the time its really fun but we feel like it freezes way too often especially in a heated battle. Its so frustrating.
This is a fun game, but it constantly is reconnecting and is very frustrating.
Playing and suddenly it just freezes. Lose your place. Plus if another player has it happen the computer takes over and gives them good moves.
Its ok ,has a lot of glitches and spend a lot of time pushing the plus button to change amount of coins to use ,would be easer just to be able to type in amount.
How do we upgrade to turn off the annoying ads.

Its very annoying when you get paired with bots because they do not play strategically and end the game round early. Instead of choosing a dollar value to play, allow players to play with real people as the primary goal and choosing the dollar value as an amount they risk individually.
Good game but it will stall out and you have to restart taking a loss. Also does not work as it should with doubling scores.
The computer players will flip their last card when they are not the lowest score. They can have an 11 on their deck, draw a 7, and instead of swapping the 11 for the 7 and trying to get a lower score they just go out. Waste of time.
We hate wasting time with ads that we would never select. Why on earth is there no paid version? Moving on.
And you cant pay to skip the numerous ads.
Less than half of the games finish with all of the players due to stability issues. Forget trying to reconnect, as that never works.
Ive had to delete the app multiple times and reinstall because our screen freezes during an ad and Im unable to play.
Playing offline is so frustrating because the computer doesnt play as a human would. It doesnt even try to get rid of cards and will end the round with 30-40 points regularly.
This was a great game until the update. Now it plays like youre playing with five year olds who know no strategy at all. And who thought the emoji faces was a good idea? Bring back the old AI.
Lately there are so many issues, it's not even worth playing it. Sometimes a player gets two cards when they should only get one. Many times it locks up during a game and won't do anything.
We repeatedly find ourselves wanting to enjoy this app but am immediately brought back to the reality of countless ads disrupting gameplay. Also the app tries to offer fun mini games like solitaire but nowhere on the app are the rules of Sky Jo nor solitaire ever listed out. So often youre playing blindly.
We would love it but it continuously crashes when we try to play with friends.
Playing against the computer almost feels like the game is rigged. The computer makes unrealistic choices which screws you over. The online option feels like playing against computer. Also has connection issues. Playing against friends and family is a neat option, however you can only do it when everyone is available at the same time. It also has connection issues and freezes a lot when playing with friends. Its very frustrating when youre waiting your turn and then it skips you b/c you ran out of time. That bug needs fixed. And there is no option to contact the company to report problems or make suggestions. Love the game, but the app needs a lot of work. So frustrated with this app. Playing with other friends is pretty much impossible because of connection issues. The app out of the blue disconnects from the game and it wont reconnect. It just says joining room and nothing happens. The creators of the app are way behind. We dont feel like the creators are fixing issues either.
