This is such an amazing experience. Not being a huge wrestling fan, or even a reader this still drew us in. We felt as if we were not only part of the story, but it was actually far more interactive than most video games. Our only hope is that there is a sequel or similar game books with this level of finesse. Absolutely recommend.
This game was so amazing to play, Ive played it over and over again. The one thing we wish it had was a chapter select sort of mechanic, but other than that, it was super good.
It is well worth the money it costs. One play through and Im hooked. Fantastic game.
The words Chaos Theory certainly rings true in this game. Ive played a few complete playthroughs in order to try and replicate our first game, in order to reread several scenes and do better in several matches. Somehow, we made a choice somewhere that turned a romance into a public love triangle and we literally dropped the phone on the desk and said No freaking way…. It literally stopped us for a while as it was a tremendous shock. Every non-scripted match feels like you could/can lose (and you can). We lost the second to last match this last time, but one the final one. Whereas the first time the opposite happened. The stats change based on your performances, the romances feel earned and real, and the story is overall really well done. We havent watched wrestling for years, but man did it bring back memories from when we did. The only serious frustration, is that there isnt any save slots. This game begs for the ability to experiment. Ive enjoyed making new playthroughs, but in those truly impactful moments Id kill for a save slot. A couple odd characters arent utilized enough, and there are several points where Id kill for more options. Overall though a wonderfully written story and game. Well done and worth the money.
The entire game reminded us of watching Monday night RAW and Smackdown as a child and being so invested into each and every storyline and wishing to one day be in that very same ring! And the story that you become immersed in allows you to become apart of that. Its lengthy and well written and well worth the money, How you shape your wrestler and the choices you make matter down the line which is what makes the story so good! If your a fan of wrestling we highly suggest you play this game.

The story was great, the characters memorable and your choices really mattered. The setting is incredibly unique compared to most and Ive always loved wrestling and this made it even better.
We never write reviews, but this one changed our mind. Its a must have for any wrestling fan, or anyone who enjoys a genuine emotional journey. Very much worth full price.
We didn't expect to like this game as much as we did. The characters all have such depth and feeling to them. This was an emotional ride. We wish we could forget it so we could play it again.
We have to say that we're not a wrestling fan but this one definitely immerses you in the world of wrestling.
We had a lot of fun playing this game, we're a big wrestling fan and we were so excited when we found this game, written and crafted very well.
Alright so we know absolutely nothing about wrestling. We bought this game on a whim and we slowly but surely fell in love. It was a bit confusing at first but once we got a little more understanding for the terminology we had a lot of fun. It's well-written, interesting, and we actually felt like we had a connection with all the different characters. That said though it was a bit slow at times, but the action kept it from dragging out too long. We laughed out loud a few times so that was great. We have replayed this game three times so far and still can't bring ourselves to turn heel or romance a different character. We're in too deep. Overall it's solid and earns 5 stars from us personally. We now kind of want to get into wrestling.
We love this game played it multiple times to get all achievements and see the different turns the story takes definitely need to make a sequel if not multiple sequels.

There is no other game like this. The beauty is in its simplicity. There's no graphics, no sound effects, no glitz and glamour; it is simply a great GAME. We have never been so immersed in another world before. We fell so deeply in love with this game that even when we wasn't playing it we were daydreaming and letting our imagination continue the story. Simply put, this game is the best on the App Store, bar none. The story is amazing. Whether you're a wrestling fan (us) or not (our brother), this story will pull you in. You're in for the ride of your life. The characters come to life like no others. You will feel every bit of the ups and downs of the plot and storylines. It's also worth noting that we didn't believe much in replay value before owning Slammed! There are so many variations you can uncover that each playthrough is a unique experience. The price is a steal. Buy now, thank us later.

At first we didn't think this game was going to be that good, mainly because we're not that interested in wrestling, but we gave it a shot and it was amazing there are a ridiculous number of plot twists in this game. We thought we got a handle on the game then something unexpected happened. This is a great game. Wish we could give it more stars.
Intriguing storylines w/high replayability.
We really enjoyed this game. It is a really close second behind the hero rise trilogy. We didn't know much about wresting when we bought the game and we still really liked it. It has a great plot and we wish all the choice of games were this good with their plot. Awesome job.

Huge fan of this game. By far one of the best out there. Writing was spot-on, had us engaged start to finish. At the end we wanted the story to continue and, oddly enough, we find ourselves with a desire to check out Pro Wrestling! Exciting stuff, five stars.

Sharp writing and deep knowledge of the subject matter. We find ourselves getting wrapped up in the story. A good visual novel, albeit without the visuals (throw in some art and we would gladly buy the game over again).
We very munch enjoy choice of games but we thought that this one was a bit slow. It needs more action.
There's a hint of romance which depend on what answer you choose,the game has interesting choice,exciting matches,detail are great and worth the money.

Choice of games did another amazing job ! We couldn't stop reading it and found ourselves attached to the characters in no time . This is our favorite of choice of games work so far.
A chose your own adventure type game.
Too much story without enough choices (in general) that we feel really impact the story. And the way Griss floats in and out of the tale is incredibly unbelievable. The way you get kicked out of wrestling without being able to defend yourself (stinks) or why JJ hates you so much for calling the ambulance (there should have been a choice there too) the story is too lengthy, and we feel like no matter what choices you chose, you probably will ultimately end up doing the same thing.
We love this game. We are a big fan of wrestling and was looking forward to playing this game. This game surpassed any expectations we could have had for it. We could have done with a few more choices about our characters appearance. But we thought all of the different stories and endings were great. We would recommend this game to everyone and we hope that there will be a part two to Slammed.

This is the best Choice of Games yet! It's satisfyingly long, keeps you constantly on edge and gives you amazing choice. We had never really liked nor paid attention to wrestling but after playing this for a few minutes, we could recognize some of the options. Keep up the good work CoG! We officially challenge you to go above and beyond this game.
We had a great time reading this story. It had several twists and turns we wasn't expecting, and we're a huge wrestling fan. Te author did a great job creating a believable world where kayfabe and mma coexist. It made the game a lot of fun to play. We're going back for another round for sure.
By far the best game we've seen by Choice of Games. It's not too short and simple like Choice of the Dragon, and not too complex like Wizard's Choice. The romantic subplot didn't seem forced or distracting either. Very good game: would recommend.
We love SLAMMED! It is truly one of the better games of Choice of Games. You need NO wrestling experience, and it is so much fun! Well worth the money.
As a fan of Choice since Dragon, we must say that thus game is their best one yet. The storyline is so involving and detailed that its hard to put down. We can't wait for what they have planned next.
We absolutely loved the long storyline as well as the many choices we got to make. We're not a big wresting fan, but the terms were easy to follow. The only thing that we would have to say that should have been added would be a physical appearance. We wasn't sure if we were burly, pretty, or ugly, so it would have been nice to choose what we looked like. Overall, we loved the game.
We really didn't feel like this is a good subject for a choicescript game…. But we were apparently wrong. We can say without a doubt that this is our 2nd favourite CoG after Hero's Rise. It had us sweating every twist and laughing at every turn. We were completely into a story and loved it. Worth the $3, definitely.
This was truly the best COG story so far, even better than Heroes Rise. Even knowing nothing about wrestling, we immensely enjoyed the stories and all the plot turns. Romance was also an integral part of the story, which personally, we enjoy. And the length of SLAMMED! Was just icing on the cake. Definitely worth the price. There are some minor issues: for example, sometimes it would incorrectly display our hometown on the data screen. There were also some grammar and spelling mistakes. Lastly, JJ was also referred to in the wrong gender multiple times. Regardless of these issues, this game was still fantastic. A must buy.
We are a huge wrestling fan and apparently so is the writer of this game/story. They do such a fantastic job of drawing you into the story with enough realism thrown in that it's hard to stop playing. We were skeptical at first but this turned out to be amazing! Great job guys, keep it up.
We have played all of the "Choice of" games and this is easily the best one. The story is long and the choices are meaningful. This game has raised the bar for interactive fiction in the App Store.
We don't normally leave reviews, But we love all of the choice of games and we just wanted to say this is the best one yet. We're not a wrestling fan, we don't know anything about wrestling, but this game has so many choices and such a great storyline. We really love all of these games, but we think they've outdone themselves with this one and we cannot wait to see what genre they'll go into next. Please don't ever stop making great games.
Every time our entrance theme song is played it goes 'one foot in front of the other' and all we can think about is that Christmas movie that goes 'put one foot in front of the other and soon you'll be walking out the front door' (around those lines). Other than that it's great.
Slammed is for wrestling fans and and choice games alike. We have never watched wrestling and have never thought of it as exciting in any way. But Slammed has officially exceeded our expectations and then some. Trust us, buying this game is a good investment. Your initial play through, if you read everything, will be six plus hours of play time. If you calculate in all if the replay ability, you are getting hours and hours if game play.
We hate wrestling…and we loved this game! It's long, it's memorable, and it's creative. We have absolutely no idea what many of the moves our character did were, but whatever. If you like CoG, you need to play this, and even if you don't, this is the one that'll get you into the them.
This COG title is now hands down our favorite! It holds similarities to the Heroes Rise game, while holding our interest with its uniqueness. We never thought we would enjoy a wrestling choice game (come on, who wants to read about sports?) but we stand corrected! With interesting character development and a touch of the classics, this new title actually has replay value something we have been missing lately. We're excited to play threw again and we hope for a continuation of this brand- no type of COG titles.
Great game the story was long and well told. If it was somehow possible the only thing better might be a sequal.
We had our doubts since we know nothing about pro wrestling, but we're glad we bought this game. The writing is entertaining and written so that a anyone can enjoy it. It's easy to identify with the player character and the choices are inclusive and intuitive. This one's also got quite a few variations as far as branching paths to take through the game, several endings, and it isn't overly difficult. Even if you're not big on wrestling (we certainly never have been), this is a storyline you can spend several hours engrossed in.
