Im gonna speedrun this guys Ill be in the top 2 cause only one person has speedrun this so far.
We loved playing this game and it has a unique gameplay style, totally recommend and if you get the water level go back in the door where you came from to process what u saw and quickly get the lever.
So when you go to the rocket ship you can go to a different island with new stuff with a new tower dont forget to add a boss to the island and dont forget to add new enemies and other stuff that kills The slime.
When we payed this game we kept getting stuck at pipe room 3 at the first pipe it is a ways 1 is live 1 is death we kept getting death so please fix the first pipe at pipe room 3 make it a not a two parter.And also why do we not get a checkpoint at the minetii boss point.
Here are the positives. – challenging gameplay – great pixel art style – ads are fairly placed – checkpoints are fairly placed – there is a solid amount of levels for a free to play game – fun space setting – the collectible is pizza slices.
We loved the game and also the ending so we would love it if you made a part 2.
This is such a fun and amazing game. It is challenging, but the golden ratio of challenging to where we don't quit. It reminds us so much of Wario land, and it brings us much nostalgia. We did find a glitch in pipe room 2, to where if we get to the end of the pipe, and go back in, the graphics of the slime glitch.
This game is fun. The storyline is awesome.
We downloaded this game a day ago and already finished it- its so fun and addictive but it needs more levels.
This game is a nice standout on the App Store. It is worth far more than the free price tag. It is charming, with cute graphics, a unique one touch control scheme, and interesting game mechanics. It has a sort of care-free innocence to it, reminding us of some NES games from our childhood. It is fun the whole way through. Do not pay attention to the reviews saying the controls are bad. The controls are 100% user-based. Once you know what the slime sticks to and how to control his trajectory, you find that virtually all deaths are the fault of the user – usually due to the player trying to rush to quickly. With precision handling and patience, you can have perfect control of the slime. Our one complaint is that the game is too short. We have already played through it twice, and am wishing for more levels already. There are a lot of great mechanics that could be combined together for a bigger challenge. We wish the game was 2-3x longer than it is, just because of how much fun we were having with it. We hope Nitrome gives this game a good update or two.
…but good game overall. The character can be frustrating to maneuver through certain areas, but that adds to the challenges of each stage. The character has a tendency to stick to surfaces that you dont want him to. There are 25 stages with 24 save points. Many of the levels have hidden passages to rooms with pizza slices, which is needed for save points. The cost of save points starts low and increases every few levels. We had to go back to replay a few levels and find the hidden slices in order to buy a save point. The game does provide enough pizza to get to the end without having to pay $$ for them. The save points can be confusing in that when you view one and it shows that you did not get all the slices, you have to go back to the previous save point to play the correct level and find the remaining slice(s). There is an ad after each death, but they can be quickly dismissed so that you can resume playing. We only wish there were more levels. Maybe in a future update.
Does this game end or is it endless.
We love our lil slime buddy. Great aesthetic. Speaks to our soul. Pizza + space + perfect mix of random stuff. Only thing is there's a level in the middle that's stupid hard, kinda frustrating, but once you get past it it gets back to being a fun game. Overall, really appreciated that game designers weren't petty about making you constantly redo stuff you had already achieved. Love that bc it lets you focus more on the game. They also eased you into becoming fluent with the mechanics. Love the movie at the beginning and graphics and everything! Would have enjoyed more cutaway scenes. Make a Slime Pizza movie??? :D.
Overall a great game.One thing though.we can't make it past ice room 2.There should be at least something to help you know what to do.But there's nothing.
We have been a loyal patron of Nitrome for half a decade. We have downloaded all their apps. Each title is unique w a solid balance of graphics & playability which are both original and yet reminiscent of the classics we.e Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc. When we saw that pizza slime was coming soon, we were sure to pre-order it and got it the day it came out. So far its frikkin awesome… Feels like gameboy on our phone .. New yet nostalgic. Bravo! Keep em coming !!! – J.
It is the best game So addicting So satisfying So much fun Hope it makes it to the top charts.
For starters, this game is a lot of fun and the concept of the story makes your experience more enjoyable as well. The graphics are pure beautiful and the game in general is crazy good. It does get some getting used to for the controls but when you have that down, youll have a blast! We highly recommended this game if your a person that is ready for a challenge in a pixelated arcade game that is extremely addicting. Also, the only thing we would change is the amount of ads. Every 2 deaths, you get an ad, but we found this not be a problem since turning on Airplane Mode prevented ads from appearing. We also really enjoy the checkpoint system that the game has, making it more challenging for people thats up for it. We also would like to see more cosmetics in a future update as well. This game is amazingly great; anybody who hasnt downloaded it… WHAT ARE YOU DOING. No but actually get it, its shocking on how addicting it is.

We only have a few games on our phone and in all honesty im glad we got this game its extremely addictive and great time killer.

First one to download, Im so excited.
Ive collected every pizza slice but we are three shorty of unlocking the last checkpoint. Im not sure why because we got the achievement for getting every slice.
There are too many ads and when we die we Re sporn we were kicked out of the game for 50 minutes.
More specifically, piranha tank 2. (Thats what its called) There is a secret room that holds 2 pizzas and for some reason, counts as checkpoint 7 pizza when in reality, its next to the 6th checkpoint. We beat that room and got the lever flipped which filled most of the room with water. The anchor also in the room does absolutely nothing with preventing you from floating to the top (when you go back after completing it). This makes the secret room impossible to get because you need the anchor to get down in the water in the secret room but if you get the anchor, its impossible to get to the secret room.
As someone who has finished from start to finish on this game, this game is unique with the mechanic of traversing by slinging yourself on walls, and using powerups to switch up how you use that mechanic. The game is just the perfect length, but im sure many would appreciate if there were an expansion pack to this game with even more levels and powers. There are some exploits and bugs that we cant remember for the life of us, but other than that this is really good for a puzzle platformer. Nitrome strikes again.
We love the game, but sometimes when we get the slingshot and aim at enemies, the rock hits them but they don't die.
We love this game but every time you die a add pops up and we die a lot because its hard to move slime where you want to go. But overall we think those are the two problems :).
We loved the game and it was amazing, but there was one glitch. At one checkpoint it made us spend double pizza to open the checkpoint when we only needed 7. Because of that, we could not beat the game. We were angry but the game was great anyway.
This is a good game but its really annoying cause for one there isnt barely any checkpoints two the dogs and piranhas are SUPER ANNOYING and three the ads show up WAY TO MUCH when you die.
U guys should add different control but its still an awesome game.
Is this a remake, copy, or inspiration of slime labs? Some of the things looks like they are from super cat (made from same person who made slime labs) tales like the flamethrower.
We really like the game but there are some bugs. One of them is that the pizzas in the checkpoints arent all counted. An example is checkpoint 10. We got all the pizza slices but it said we only got 3 even though the pizzas we got were grayed out.
Nice game. Love the retro feel. God almighty the ads are impossible. Its hard to really get sucked into the game when theres so many ads. Its a great example of how overuse of ads kills a games playability.
Its a fine game, but it is SO difficult to control the slime thing. We mean, its ridiculous. To the point that it isnt fun or challenging anymore, its just frustrating.
Im not one for long reviews, so Ill say it quickly. The game is fun, but is very glitchy, and occasionally very much too difficult.
We got every single piece of pizza but its saying that Im missing some still.. We cant play it anymore so we guess we gotta delete it. It was actually a really good game too bad for the bug.

Controls can be iffy. We dont know if theyre just sensitive or if theyre just poor. Sometimes you stick to things, sometimes you dont. We dont mind ads, but one after every death has us unwilling to play OR pay. Sorry but if you cant respect your free players enough to make ads bearable theres no reason Im giving you money we really wish the annoy them with ads so they pay up behavior would stop. Its an okay game but nothing to really write home about.
We are level 14 and we keep dieing one thing we burn the buels in one room and we went to another room and we went back and the buels reswaned please fix that it make no sense and put more pizza because its way to hard to find pizza.
The character is way to slow for it to feel enjoyable at all, and his hitbox is huge. The amount of maneuverability you have is good, but it's all for naught since there's many times when you get hit by something you weren't even close to. Gave it a two star because a lot of effort was put into this game and it is moderately fun if you can get over how sloppy the mechanics feel.
The game is a good concept. It's fun at first but then it's repetition of the same types of rooms. You get stuck on a lot of the rooms. Makes you rage a lot when the same thing happens for 3 hours straight. The game is called slime pizza where a slime delivers pizza but there is no delivering pizza and you only collect pizza for 1 reason. Not recommended. We would probably like it if certain levels were a little easier to complete. Bye for now.
Every. Time. You. Die. There. Are. Ads… After playing a little while, It will get to the point where you dont want to play. Dont get us wrong, we understand ads are a must on a free game, but drown your players with them. Overwhelming players with them wont get them to buy the no ads option. We like the game mechanics and it is a nice concept.
Too much dialog and pointless storyline. Just make a game with a bunch of seamless puzzles! The gameplay was fun, but you dont need to spend all your resources on a story about a freaking slime that delivers pizza.
Way too many ads too enjoy, and after you pay for no ads, you still get ads.
Gameplay mechanics frustrating to say the least. No proper instructions about what You need to do. Couldn't even get past level 2.
This game is sooo bad the controls are bad we keep getting sucked into doors restarting the level the when there is spike balls in the water and the fish the fish dosent even get phased when it hits the spikes and its too fast its too hard.
When we get to the part where we have a lot of enemies ahead we die from saws, lightning or the insane dragon worms. This is too hard please make the dragon worms easier and there de less saws in the part where you see the police dog the second time.
Guess this game only works if you have the NEWEST iPhone. Was playing perfectly fine up until Water Level 7. We dont know WHAT the deal is, what feature the new iPhone has that the other phones dont, but Ive found it impossible to play past this level with an older phone. No matter how gentle we are, how careful, we get hit and cut up by the saw on the left when you have to turn the lever to open the hatch. Its just not possible on an older iPhone. Watched someone else play the level, be very gentle and slow, and they passed right by the saw. Ive done the EXACT SAME maneuver multiple times and we HIT the saw EVERY SINGLE time. Ive played this level over a hundred times, and believe us it gets old, especially with constant ads and starting over at the very beginning. If youve beat this level on anything below the newest iPhone model, great job!!! But we even tried adjusting our sensitivity and still NOTHING. Seriously, who makes a level that cant be beat??? We really dont think its possible.
