GAMEPLAY

Hi, the first time we played this game was around when we were in middle school, we used to look forward to playing it everyday when we would get off of school, it was one of the most addictive games Ive ever played. It was similar to other games we used to play back on the PlayStation 2 that had anything that included the concept of extreme sports and SnowBoard Hero is one of them. The graphics are great and looked amazingly awesome, the quality is great too! We love these characters, they are all unique in their own ways, the tracks are cool, and the soundtrack is awesome. The game is CHALLENGING WHICH is the best point for any gamer experience. Earlier we were planning to get this game since it was so much nostalgia since we used to play it back then. Now, we need to play it again, though, PLEASE UPDATE SOON, and let us know soon, developer. Last,THANKS for you, your team and crew of developers for bringing back EXTREME, to the gaming universe! -Rainy.

Great game. We play every year. But plz update.
We're not a big fan of the everyone writing reviews thing. We think a game will speak for itself, and the fans will let you know they like it or not by how much they talk about it with friends. So we only write reviews if a game is really good, or conversely, really bad. We're sad to say, in this instance, it's the later of the two. Don't get us wrong, there are some really good qualities to the game. The graphics are great, and some time went in to prettying it up, no doubt. The problem is, the actual mechanics are lousy. Why would you put out a game where the collision detection is so bad you fall through every rock you run in to? You can't tell us that no one testing this game thought to run into things…well, you can, but we wouldn't believe it. Also, the controls, half the time, the game can't seem to differentiate between a press, a swipe up while jumping, or a swipe up on the ground to boost. The game is a challenge, and we think that's great. There was some good level design, and a decent amount of character development for the type of game it is, but now matter how pretty you make it, it falls apart if the main backbone is broken, and in this case, well, maybe it needs some traction. We're just glad we came across Galaxy On Fire 2 before we stumbled on this one. Now that was a good game.
It needs to update. It doesn't work. It crashes when the game is loading.
They have several great concepts. But when things go bad. They go BAD. Don't expect to hear from them if you submit a ticket. We have emailed them every other day for 3 months and haven't even been granted the courtesy of a reply. Take a chance. It's up to you. But beware, if you spend money with them on upgrades you are wasting your time and money.
We downloaded this game because it said it was airplay enabled for Apple TV, but unless we're missing something here, it does not airplay. Only sound is on our Apple TV.

Although it has tilt-only controls, we like the graphics and it is challenging enough with the obstacles and tricks. Overall makes for an exciting game.

Its a crappy app, it dosent load.
It crashes too much on our ipod4.

We know there are many who wouldn't spend as much for an app when there are plenty of freebies. We believe this is an exception. Controls are tight, moves are pretty cool, and it works just fine on HDMI-out television.
This game is sweet. We agree that 180's would be nice, but not a big deal. We've only started playing, but it seems a reasonable difficulty. We really do not like IAP's, but so far it looks like you can play through and open stuff up. You should not have to buy stuff, unless you are too impatient to play through. But if that's the case, then why would you bother buying it, since ya prob won't play it anyways.
Great game. Most everything is good, but we think the outfits should have a little more variety in them than just color change.

Wanted a decent SSX fix on the go, this isnt working. The gameplay is dull, its tilt only (yuk) and most importantly the feel is way off on the boarding. You are a car going downhill, you control like a car going downhill. The trick system is so basic, the game has no sense of scale/speed…. Really not great.
It's so much more fun than this. The controls just don't feel good to us with this one- somewhat of a cheap feel compared to the awesome "Crazy Snowboard.".
4.99 is a bit much but it's a good game, fun and entertaining.
REMINDS ME OF COOL BOARDERS & SSX!!! We have countless hours playing this game and updating our the characters. Although theres one flaw NO MULTIPLAYER?!?!?!?! Until then 4 stars. :(.
The graphics are wonderful, as is the sound! The control design and responsiveness could use some fine-tuning, make them more responsive. It IS a lot like SSX3, one of our all time favorite games.
This game looks good, but the controls are lacking. When it comes to what you can do there are limits, for example swiping left after a jump performs a 360, making a 180 impossible if desired. The controls seem to lag as well, when turning direction there is a slight lag in the response making the controls feel loose.
We bought this game not realizing that it wasn't compatible with our iPod. Please update this to support the 2nd generation iPod.
