Community Insight:

Best solitaire out there. Thanks for the updates. It's been returned to its former perfection. We love the graphics update and it's snappier/faster than before. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for fixing this app, and keep up the great work.

We could play this for hours before the update, now some are virtually impossible to win because at times it will not let you move an available card.

We updated this game site today 11/23/16, and now it is slow and jerky … The cards no longer move smoothly and it is really annoying and hard on the eyes. This was our favorite site, but if not fixed, we will have to go elsewhere.

Just applied the new upgrade. Supposed to enhance the game. See nothing other than the card movements are NOT SMOOTH! Every action is jerky. Do not like it.

This is the only game app that we've reinstalled on every new phone and iPad. This is a must have app for long plane rides.

This operates a bit differently from the computer version, but we like it – especially since the cards are big enough for our old eyes to see easily. We also appreciate the wide variety of games included.

Easy to use and we win sometimes too! Great variety and not boring! Very addictive. Love this game.

Best solitaire game ever but please put pick 2 on it. Its one of our favorite card games.

We got this for our Mac 19 years ago. Now we have it on our iPad also. Couldn't live without it.

This is still the best Solitaire app in the store. Don't understand some of the complaints. We play this everyday. It never crashes and has so many options. We have tried many solitaire games on the iPhone but this is the only one still on our phone.

This is the only iOS solitaire we've found that does everything we want (with one minor exception). Of course, once we found this we stopped looking.

The best Sol game we've ever played enjoy this thanks for developing.

Fun game with a 3D feel. Worth getting. No money needed to play which is a great deal. Our only dislike is there are only three card back patterns, don't like any of them, so we would like more choices please. Also we don't like having only one shuffle please change to three. With those. Changes this would be a perfect game.

This is our 3rd iPad and it's the very 1st app we loaded on our iPad Air. We play every as we relax in bed & can't go to sleep without many rounds of Golf & Osmosis or Monte Carlo. Golf is our absolute fav game with over 5000 rounds played! Great for 6 hour long car rides since there's so many games to select from. Worth every cent.

We play this game more than we care to admit! The best Solitaire app on iOS, hands down.

We've had this game for a couple of years now; and we still love it. There's a wide varity of games with several different skill levels. It's easy to use; and looks and plays well. Lastly the developer is responsive bug reports and is clearly still interested in this and all the other games he has available.

Mike has done it again! This time stepping up to the iPad plate by making Solitaire Forever universal! This version feels very much like the desktop version of the game. Not that the iPhone version is lacking in anyway. Both versions of the game are true to the desktop version. It's just that the iPad version has a screen resolution that is pretty much the same as a desktop computer and the processor in the iPad runs the game as fast as most desktop/notebooks. If you are looking for a solitaire card game that has all the classics and more, look no further.

Easy and fun to use. Helps to pass the time while waiting. BUT…… With all the available types of sol, why is there no Thieves of Egypt game? One of our favorites.

We find that the game is a lot of fun to use. We enjoy the animations, AND the fact that you don't have to wait for the card animation to finish before the next move. We also like that the interface is intuitive and easy to use. We also like that you can relax the rules in the middle of a game without starting a new game. We've only played a few different games, but have some comments about those. In Osmosis, you can put any card in foundation 2 (for example) that is up in foundation 1. We thought that the rules stipulated that the first card in an empty foundation has to be the same value as the first card in the first foundation. (we.e., if the first card in the first foundation is 8C, then you can only start a new foundation with an 8.) In Freecell, the app doesn't always allow you to move the maximum number of cards from one column in the tableau to another. We've found that there are times where we're not allowed to move a particular stack of cards in one play, but if we manually split the move up into two moves it will work. In games like Double Klondike and Pyramid, we would like to be able to relax the rules by having an option to draw one or three at a time (in pyramids) or to have infinite re-deals (Double Klondike).

Four stars on iPad. On iPhone, we wasn't able to use in landscape, only portrait. Most options and most games of any solitaire app we've used.

Great update! Fits the fill iPhone 5 screen now. We have no idea why there are so few reviews on this app, it's definitely the best of the solitaire apps.

We'd give it five stars if the update didn't force the landscape screen to taper away at the top, making the cards appear farther away. We find it disorienting and REALLY dislike it. Very ironic given all the 'flatness' touted by Apple for iOS 7. Give us the flat landscape back and we'll rate it at the top of the heap.

We play this app daily and enjoy it tremendously. We have had it or the Mac version for several years and consider it to be the only solitaire game to have. Best bang for the buck.

We have had this gamer on our Mac for years! Was so pleased to find a iPad app of the same. Thanks so much. Great to play and so much fun to watch the cards 'fly!'.

We love this game.hard to fine. Great.

This is hands-down the best solitaire app for iOS, MacOS, Windows, that phone OS from G that begins with an "A" and that other phone OS that ends with "8." The reason is twofold. First and foremost, the count of solitary games is astonishing. The breadth of coverage is only exceeded by the open source patience games on Linux. The other reason for Solitaire Forever's ascendency is the game's UI, especially on touch devices. The interface is intuitive and comfortable. We play this game every day on our iPad, and we love it.

The latest update moves this app back up to awesome!! Excellent.

We have tried several Solitaire apps before finding this one. There are so many different games on this one that it will never get old.

Outstanding animations and user interface. A total joy to play. Addictive games.

We first found this app on the Mac and loved it there, for its mixture of fun and strategy games. When we found it for the iPad we thought we were in heaven! The port (to iOS ) is -almost – everything it could be.

Auto complete would be great but so would being able to mark games as favorites so you didn't have to search/scroll for them.

We have lots of apps on our iPad, but none that we use everyday throughout the day like this one. We take our solitaire games with us everywhere.. Stuck in a traffic jam? No problem! Just relax with a game of solitaire. We like that there is no score keeping or timer. It is more relaxing for us that way.. Thanks for making such a great game and app.

Fun, fun, fun. Never tired of playing these games.

A great game! Very well done. The animations are slick too.

Really love this app. So far we have only tried a few of the games, but find them fun, challenging and addictive.

We enjoy playing the various games available and could lose ourselves for hours. Sometimes we even win! Love learning all the different games.

We have been using Solitaire Forever for 3 1/2 years, and used their computer games (Mike's Cards) for many more years. We've tried the rest, but the Solitaire Forever's graphics, variety of games and customer service are unquestionably the best. Problems? They respond immediately and go out of their way to put the customer first. Greener.

Great fun. You even win once in awhile.

Like the games. Green background is easy on the eyes.

Graphics are great. Cansfield is our favorite game.

Probably the largest collection of solitaire games we have ever seen. The interface does a pretty good job of cramming lots of cards on a small screen. The only thing it really needs, like others have said, is a way to tag your favorite games, or at least sort by most played.

This is the best solitaire app we've seen/used, which is several. There is a large variety of games, the graphics are clear, the animations fun ( and you get to decide how much animation you want ), and very easy mechanics. One thing that is missing, or we have at least not seen it, is a way to keep track of your favorite games. The other feature that would be nice would be a view of type of solitaire, we.e. Forty Thieves, Klondike, Castle, and so on. In spite of this it is still the best solitaire app.

We are wild about this app but there are too many similar games. Still, we love this app.

Play it every day. Love the variety and graphics.

Plenty of games, lots of variation. The only thing we'd improve is being able to see the layout before selecting it, since we're unfamiliar with some of the names.

We really like the helpful version of darker card cues–such a nice way to save our battery, thanks. We unwind with it at night, as a quick reward: it's fine therapy… PS. (we developed a version using letters, in case you're interested.).

This in an amazing collection of almost every conceivable game: all of which are well executed! Great buy.

This is by far the best solitaire game we've seen for iPad, free or paid. The number of different games is huge and the UI is great. It doesn't feel like an iPad afterthought. Our one request would be that the main view be reversible because it feels as if it's designed for south paws. We've never come across two solitaire programs which played the same set of rules for pyramid nor have we seen a version which is winnable often enough to make it worth playing. Also the game doesn't tell you when you've lost.

A lot of game play for so little money. Great way to pass the time.
