Ive been playing for many years and it is so much fun! Ive met a few life long internet buddies here also ! Also hearing songs that date back to our childhood is awesome and brings back good memories of us with our papaw holding us while dancing on his feet! TRY IT! You will enjoy it.
We love this game and love how competitive it gets with vs another person in different genre of music. But we think there should be like a whole stat line on your progress, on your win percentage is all time, also the winning percentage on every month. Also have your win loss record. Also think there should be like different genre percentage. Meaning like which genre your really good at or if you have a low percentage in a certain genre you can work on it to get better at it. Also think there should be like a ranking system to see where place at all time in the app and based it on the w-l record and the all time win percentage. Also one last thing is that we think if you get to the point where you unlocked the double exp for the month that every time you level up a playlist that the exp for that playlist should be double exp as well. Thats it love the game and keep up the awesome work.
Love this game entirely too many ads. The ads are longer than the rounds.
We love the gamebut the past 2 days have been awful. The game is slow to load and is timing out all of the time when we are playing. When head to head games do load, it is taking 10-15 seconds.
Constant glitches with this game. Freezes all the time. Doesnt acknowledge completion of missions. Archives players and in some games, opponents even though you guessed all 5 songs faster than they did. How is that even possible. Frustrated and prefer the original song pop. Dont get fooled with this supposed upgrade.
This game is so slow now with the last update . Games takes 2 minutes to load from one player to the next what a waste . We truly think letting this go . Song pop original plays way faster.
The developers need to get some help or come off the $$ theyre making and put back into the game! It has potential to be good but there are times you could take a nap while waiting for games or playlists or chats to load and dont even get us started on the live shows.. Game freezes up and you turn to a ghost anytime there are more than 250 people playing! Report it and the response is like a broken record.. The developers are aware of the problem and are working on it (for over a year now!!) Fix the bugs or kill the game.
Why is it impossible to end a game with someone? Its aggravating.
We get the songs right and it still says that we are wrong and it is happened numerous times. We think there is something wrong on your end. This is ridiculous.
Arent games supposed to be fun? This game feels so scammy to play. We just want to play trivia by ourselves but the game makes us play other people. And every interaction is arbitrarily limited and gamified in some way. Its very clear this app is more interested in growth-hacking than delivering a fun experience. Uninstalled.
This game is so much fun! There are not many ads and we love being able to compete against other people the songs are also super amazing and some challenging. This is the best game everr.
Super fun games. We really like the song one because Im always been really good at memorizing songs in knowing lyrics and stuff so this is a great way for us to flex.
Too many glitches in lives shows. Have the time the team spirit doesnt work, or it states you got a song wrong when you didn't and then the revives dont work.
Since this app premiered many of us were looking forward to some new games to play. One in particular has a thorn in many peoples side and needs to be addressed. Im speaking of the live group game (everyday at 5pm). Many of us consistently get a low wifi connection during the game, the ghost randomly kills us off by stating that we guessed incorrectly, sometimes it wont let us revive, we can guess all the songs correctly and timely only to get to the end see better luck next time and has started to take our (imaginary) money for team spirit but then all of your teammates disappear from the game for a level. What is going on.
Ok we ALMOST thought about subscribing to this so we can be done with the ads BUT we dont trust it. We have earned so many diamonds/jewels and they are never given to us. Coins not appearing, then the app will crash. The ad will still appear at the bottom as Im playing and cant get it off unless we close out the app. Why would we pay money for something like this without knowing Id get what we earned. We enjoy this app but Im about to be done with it due to it not giving us what we earned. Plus these ads are false advertising, we have the apps and they are no where near how they advertised them to be.
This game used to be extremely fun. We remember winning rounds and using our coins to buy new playlist, then working on those playlist to upgrade them and get new songs. With all of this, we have to watch an ad every time we want to pick a playlist. You put far too much behind pay walls and level walls in here. The classic song pop is so much better than this. If something doesnt change soon, Im just going to stop playing all together.
We can't get past the first questions, it's trying to pigeonhole us into specific eras and genres. And like we get that many people, maybe most, still primarily listen to music that came out when they were teens and 20s. But our taste is eclectic and we don't have the same taste and we don't want the game to do that. It could ask people to pick decades or whatever, and maybe we're missing something, but we still don't want it to put us in a category as narrow as 2000s hip hop or whatever.

We're a music person and we luv this app.
It wont load and we dont like how the design is. Our main issue is we cant see all the categories we have. Its really annoying. We dont like how everything on the screen is just crowded. Makes it hard for us to see/read. We think song pop classic is better than this one, but we love the colors that was used on song pop 3.
We would love it if you added Michael Jackson on there. Dolly Parton has her own music.

The NEW version clearly cant keep up. Games bogging down constantly! Do not even bother complaining! This is NO sign of any type of customer service! If you feel like wasting time sign up.

We love this game but Im definitely not getting all our rewards! And when we reach out to them , they never reach back and try to fix the problem.
Just started playing. Its fun. But Im as we say just learning the new Song Pop. Its very different from Song Pop 2. Download it & give it a try, if you enjoy music now its supposed to connect to our other SP but doesnt so its a nightmare. We pay a membership but have to play like a guest. Very annoying. Hope they sort it out before we stop playing. Lots of issues with the app last week we had to reinstall it several times. They keep asking us to do things but it never works. Fix these issues please.

We really want to like this game but there are absolutely no instructions on how to play or any explanation of the features. We have no idea what Im supposed to be accomplishing and there is no help feature or FAQ section. The only thing we know how to do in the game is play one on one, similar to song pop 2.
Fun game, but too many ads and $9.99 a month is ridiculous to pay for an appmaybe as a one time charge, but not a monthly expense.

This app is very annoying. Navigating the game is a confusing mess. The restrictions of what you can do and what features you can use makes no sense. It is difficult to play because of its poor design. It is filled with infantile animations that detract from the game. For example, every time you get a song right a stupid animated hand comes in from the side to distract and annoy you. You will also be bombarded with ads pushing you to upgrade to the paid subscription. We recommend Song Pop Classic. The biggest flaw with classic is that they use it to try to push you into this horrible app. Play Song Pop Classic and say NO to Song Pop 3.
This game is so laggy. It has millions of ads. And they push you to buy premium. And it also messes up your device, btw. It made our phone lag so many times and it just so bad.
Dont expect free trial to try out despite what it may say.
We have lost so many tickets on this game. It freezes up on us constantly too many issues that need to be addressed. We would never pay for an app with this many problems.
Been trying this out for almost a month. Thought if we played a little we would like it more. Not so .Songpop two is so much better . No explanations if what's what in the game. Way way too many ads. Really disappointed.
When SongPop Classic ends so does our subscription.
The interface looks like it was designed by a kindergardner with ADHD. Not intuitive and not fun. SP Classic is the superior game.
We STARTED PLAYING TO GET CREDIT ON ANOTHER GAME!!!! BUT THIS GAME IS NOTHING BUT A BUGGY AND CONSTANT CRASHING CRAP!!! We GUESS THEY NEEDED TO FORCE PAYING PLAYERS TO PLAY THIS GAME TO GET MORE FUNDING TO KEEP SAYING THEY ARE FIXING IT.
This update and adding songpop 3 has absolutely ruined this game. We want to be able to play parties when we want to not when the game magically gives us the party button. We quit paying for membership when the price increased because $10 a month for a game is crazy. Why give tickets as a reward if you cant get to the party to play? Why have ads that freeze up requiring you to close and reopen the app? We enjoy song guessing, but greed has ruined this game.
This is SUCH an amazing app! Its so fun.They pick music for your age group. So kids dont get exposed.
With that being said, its also the most costly and time consuming. But the cost and the time are obviously at our own consent (despite SongPops clever gotcha marketing tactics!). But hey, what can we say? If you like music more than any of your friends and always have buds in your ears throughout the day if youre so savvy you can sing the melody to some obscure Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young song and in two seconds start singing Juicy by Biggie if you typically know what songs playing before the rest of the people in the room, this game will get you! And then its hook, line, and sinker. We told ourselves Id never subscribe to the premium subscription. That was 7 months ago. We actually made it 5 months before spending over $100 in the last two months on this game. There is something to love for everyone. All that being said, there will be something to also infuriate everyone too. Theres playlists that obviously werent included because of greedy record company restrictions or whatever (where are The Beatles? Jackson Browne? The Eagles? Hootie & them Big Ol Blowfish?! Ya feel us!). There are key artists missing but some artists included that you will be pleasantly surprised to see. Theres currently a big issue with this particular SongPoP with the app crashing on a many times per day basis. Im sure they know about it. Please fix this for us, guys. Were putting Benjamins in your pocket like Alanis Morrisette circa 1995. So make sure your programmers are working that weekend shift to squash them bugs. Other than that, we just feel like we should get paid to play because Ive gotten 4 people personally to sign up for the subscription all on our persistence. Or we need to work for this company. Btw, please also fix the issue where clicking on the Apple Music icon doesnt properly take you to the Apple Music app anymore. And it hasnt been working for a couple updates. This is important for those with Apple as their streaming music service. Other than that, keep on keeping on. This is thegreatsongtraveler giving this app 5 shining pulsars in the sky! Dont stop playin the music until the music stops playin you.
We love this game because you can learn new songs and music.
It is not the best but our sister and we like playing it.
