Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

Great app, loads of features. Love how customizable the dice are. There are more shapes for every face count than we could ever imagine using and the feature to import images to add to custom dice makes customization virtually limitless. You can make your own bags, specific rolls with whatever combination of dice youd like, and so much more. There are only a few nitpicks we have but they dont stop this from being a 5-star app. We wish there were: – more fonts available (or the ability to import your own) – a simple way to share custom dice (it is possible but not streamlined) or sync over iCloud – more updates and/or transparency on the AppStore listing about the state of future updates. The developer is transparent on their website about iOS not receiving anymore updates for the foreseeable future (as of September 2025) but a little blurb on the app listing would be appreciated. We hope future iOS updates dont break the app. Despite those few wishlist items, this is an amazing app. If youre looking for a customizable dice rolling app, this is well worth the price.

If you want a dice roller that just works, this does it. We dont use it often, we like our physical dice, but this is great to just keep on our iPhone for game. Works great as a sidebar app on iPad.

This is exactly what we wanted. Excellent defaults, but highly configurable. Makes it easy to manage dice rolling across many TTRPGs, including arbitrary homebrews.

This dice app is like Mary Poppins – Practically perfect in every way. If we could make a few suggestions, one is give people an option to have more than two colors on the dice, like a rainbow swirl or layers and have more than one color for the numbers, like if they wanted to have the Pansexual pride flag colors as the numbers colors. Otherwise, amazing app, 20/10, would stratospherically recommend.

Ive tried a lot of dice rollers over the years, and Sophies Dice beats all the others by a lot. The degree of customization possible, between dice shapes, face values, the staggering flexibility of functions, and even the visual styles of the dice is just incredible. Everything we were looking for in a dice app and more.

We've tried every dice app we can find, and this one is a definite contender for the best dice app on the App Store. The amount of customization available is extensive, albeit somewhat confusing without any in-app help. Once we read through the online help, we were able to grok most of the settings and how to access relevant editing areas. Summary: The settings and editing screens could improve in terms of initial approachability and usability, but overall, it is a highly customizable dice app for anyone who needs custom dice or complex dice pool calculations. This is our current go-to dice app now.

Oh our holy crap Ive been waiting and here it is in all its glory! Now we can have our dice and eat them too! We feel like Im living in the best version of this universe right now.

This is the most amazing app ever invented. We could roll five pugs forever. Its also a fast and visually pleasing way to rol dice, flip coins, and generate randomness in many many convenient ways. Success dice? GURPS dice? Its all in here. And its customizable. We have no imaginable use for this app at this point in our life but we absolutely cannot get enough of it.

Another bit of high quality dice rollin from Sophie. 5/5.
