Community Insight:

We cant edit the game like we wish to on a mobile device it is frustrating and we want to know if we can get it fixed.

Hi Homenet, we love your work with your games and was wondering if you are going to add free play mode in the available campaigns in the game along with the ability to never have to end a campaign because if you complete it then it will feel stale because you only fight pirates. Please add more post game content. Is there a limit to how many ships you are allowed to have in your personal feel and your own custom campaigns.

We love this game and enjoy playing we read the review from 2 years ago im and we agree with some of his suggestions like capturing and adding ships to your fleet and higher level ships for purchase but not premium we have every non premium ship minus freighters so we really looking forward to something new don really like the alien missions the extra cumulative damage does not last and is kinda annoying but other wise its a incredible game.

Im a Star Wars fan and we love this its basically like battling in Star Wars its amazing and fun we highly recommend.

Hi its us again and the game is so simple yet complex and it feels so good when you can bring any amount of ships you want with you and it might be better than StarField even though we havent played the game but please continue working on this game it gives us so much happiness that we really would love if you could respond to us.

SPOILER ALERT Enable us to build worm hole gates. Add fleet command instructing a ship in your fleet to defend another ship in your fleet. Why does time progress only for the system in which you are currently located? We understand that depending on the size of the star within a system that gravity could change the speed at which time passes but to put a system on FULL PAUSE because you are not currently in it is ridiculous. How are we supposed to make ship parts and earn credits within systems that we have built up and set in motion to be self sufficient? Isnt that the whole point of the game? Why cant we leave a system to retrieve commodities for a trading/smuggling mission? Compartmentalization of systems for missions seems shortsighted.

We were hoping for something like Galaxy on Fire. This title came close but really fell short of expectations. We bought the premium pack just to support the dev anyway. This could have been a killer game. For starters, dont even bother with combat jobs. Anything having to do with combat is literally costing you more in-game currency after refuel and repair than what you make completing the jobs. Combat is probably the most unrewarding experience in the game. Dont even bother sending a fleet of ships into combat because your partner ships AI is complete trash. They will fire once and be destroyed many times, tripling your repair costs, before you finally decide Enough of this. Ill just do combat alone, and eventually just stop doing combat altogether. Trade is fun but grindy. Eventually youll be bored of this game.

We love this game, but we would like to make some requests. Allow the player to control the capital ships. Allow the player to have a crew on the capital and passenger ships. And board an enemy capital ship with a passenger transport and fight there crew and take over the ship.

This isnt an npc comment. This game is outstanding.

This is an amazing open world game, but yall havent updated in almost a year!! Please!! We want more.

Its a great game and it has an amazing storyline and graphics, but we feel like it could use a battle ship class. If the pirates get massive battle ships why shouldnt we.

We dont know why its only has a overall rate of 4.3 we would say this is one of the best space game we played over years. First of all, we are a f2p gamer, we didnt spend any money in this one. And we have a lot of fun. We read some comments that the capital ship need real money ships. That is not true. In SC, theres no limit for the ship amount you owned. We got 4 boomers in our 28-ship-fleet (manually fire missiles), all others are all fighters, interceptors, we can easily pass a 2 capital ship with like 80 ships fight. One thing that confused us a little is the commercial chain part. But still, we give 5 star to this game.

The controls threw us for a moment until we realized we were over thinking it. The battles and flight are super simplified. You have a limit of range, so you cant do a loop to turn around. You also cant stray too far from the area or it will turn you around. Once you get an enemy in range, simply hold left trigger or the appropriate on screen button and you pretty much stay locked on. Your ship will turn to follow the target. Rarely will the enemy break this lock. Worm holes eventually open up to other star systems but we havent played long enough to find stuff in those systems. We paid the 99 cents to get rid of the ads, but you still have the option to watch an ad for free credits, or sometimes to double a mission reward, but again it is optional. We chose this over Galaxy on Fire 2 because GOF2 is abandoned and the company that makes it is gone. Most of the action/adventure space games on iOS havent had an update in years, so those developers have either moved on to other projects or went out of business. That said, this game looks graphically nice, seems to have lots of room for future expansion, and is frequently updated. Its very easy to play. The only issue we have had is that when we first leave a base or fly to a new area our controller doesnt work unless we tap the screen upon arrival. You have plenty of time before engagement and you tap the screen for some things anyway so this is a minor bug. Im sure its something they will fix soon as it is a very minor glitch. Other than that everything is good and we just want more content. Devs: Add more like asteroid mining, crafting, etc and Ill buy it. We bought the $9.99 pack, and thats saying a lot because Ive only bought game content maybe 6 or 7 times in the last seven years. We dont buy game credits or things that are spent like coins or tokens, but we will buy things that expand the game. Despite the one bug Ive found with the controller not working till we tap the screen, Im still giving it 5 stars.

Game is great on storyline, battle, and trade but it needs a battleship class! Edit: for those complaining about the storyline we completed it with the Cobra ship only needed a normal fighter to bring down a ton of ships so if you think storyline is hard its really not so stop trying to kill yourselves in-game as its easy if you actually think about both normal ships and capital ships (dont know why we like killing dreadnoughts but they should be hard not easy that is if you have a couple bombers for big fights only use them when the weak turrets are destroyed then use the bombers to take out the stronger turrets and especially the high-damage ones!) even took out ships that had better stuff than we did dont even have a gunboat and yet am able to kill stronger ships trick is to have 2 ion cannons and 2 plasma cannons and fire at will right behind the enemy ships that youre having trouble with.

We love this game, and we play it a lot in our free time, but in our opinion, you guys should add a feature to where you can control a capital ship, and we think that would make this game better. This is all our opinion, and if you see this, please at least consider it. Barley any game like this Ive played will let you do that, so in our opinion, that would make this game stand out.

Enjoy your games but one thing we feel is missing in terms of time period we have medieval age of sail both world war and the future but we feel that one in a modern era is the next step.

Trade, cargo, managing money, and factories is pretty fun, not being able to slow down speed isnt. Getting a try again screen when dying when the game could have just swapped to a different ship you had following you. Feels kind of lonely around stations with nothing but you and your squad and the occasional pirate. Not being able to buy the big capital ship grates us, we want to fight with giant ships and not just the small guys. Combat is decent but holding down a target button is just way too easy and the only real threats are capital ships with kinetic cannons. Enemy AI is not that great and could use improvement. Only 26 ships, could use a lot more variety. Compared to Galaxy on Fire 2, Space Commander has a better economy but a much weaker combat system and lack of variety in ships. Just give us the ability to build capital ships dear god PLEASE.

Love the game and even the way is created where you can play it offline which you guys add more stuff and also add bigger ships cause is kind of almost impossible to get them out of the way with just the small ships you can buy! Anyway Thanks.

We tried for an hour to kill one enemy craft with the touch screen controls. We changed the setting sensitivity to no avail. It is impossible to fly combat missions via touchscreen. They are just to slow and glitchy And we on the latest iPad. Such bad design. Literally one hour and couldnt kill any of the first mission pirates, not even a luck shot. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND SHAME ON YOU FOR PORTENDING THE TOUCH SHREEN CONTROLS FEATURE IS A VIABLE OPTION.

JFC, cant even fly straight without being veering HARD on L/R. Cant even just stay still, what gives? -1 star.

You can take a job or mission and when you do, it appears on your job or mission bar, but there doesnt seem to be a way to fulfill the job or mission. Too bad. Some clearer explanations would make the game playable.

It is too darn hard to control without a controller, and even then.

Overall great and simple game. Cant understand why people are complaining about difficulty or credits. We completed the campaign with 6 ships including 1 fighter, 2 heavy fighters, 2 bombers, and 1 gun boat. Honestly 2 bombers and 1 gunboat can do the job easily. Our only question is that we started to roam into those frontier systems but GJ1005 seems to be the furthest we can reach. Wondering if there is anything in systems like Gliese1 or Sirius. Developer please help if you see this.

Gotta love it that people are making fun games that have great potential to grow and develop a whole new universer! There are a few things that could be better, hence the 4 stars: 1. We wish we could see the system map while at the hangar. Now you have to launch the craft look for deals and come back to the station to figure it out. 2. Supply lines are still a little strange for us. Maybe giving more information on how to set up and maintain them between two owned stations would be best. Awesome work.

The fact you cant barrel roll and do a vertical 360 is ridiculous this developer could benifit greatly from adding this to their flight games.

We would enjoy it a lot more if you could add more features in the settings so we can change camera angle so controls wont be bassicly impossible to use.

The game seemed to be great until we noticed the flight controlls are limited by the desktop edges. This makes the game almost unplayable since it keeps triggering our hot corners… IE launchpad, lock screen, etc. Of all the games we've played with mouse control this is the only 1 that is like this.

We want to be able to buy a capital ship why cant we own one or even a cruiser or corvette please let us be able to get a capital ship.

We really like this game it has really graphics for a iPhone game and its fun.

Please add sandbox mode we do not wish to break our phone out of rage because all fights are very hard so please add sandbox mode.

We have looked a long time for a game like this! – You can play OFFLINE. Yes!!! – Space combat is actually fun thanks to the convenient lock feature that even works with guns. – You can own and bring multiple ships into battle and take turns flying them whenever you need to. – The trade system is simple and easy to understand. – The graphics are amazing and remind us of Everspace. – You can customize your ships with better stats or more guns. – Your ships have an incredible attention to detail. If it says your ship has 4 guns, you can count 4 guns. If you returned from battle with only 3 missiles, you will see 3 missiles. If you were damaged it will show that too. – This game does a lot of things, but it does them all in a very simplified way that doesnt require a Wiki or hours of tutorials and research. – You can own space stations and manufacture goods. – Every place you land has a unique background. Sometimes you even land on the planet itself. – Story and narrative is very minimal so you can focus more on the action. – Ive enjoyed this game much more than EVE Echoes, Infinite Galaxy, Second Galaxy or Star Traders: Frontiers. – To the Developers: Thank You! It is the simplicity of this game that makes it so much fun to play.

The few things we would like improved are better enemy fighter AI and the ability to build your own capital ships, frigates, and corvettes. The enemy fighters are too easy to kill. Just lock on and follow and shoot till dead. Also we dont think they ever fire missiles….. Im sort of new to iphone or ipad gaming so the graphics and fluid environment were surprising to us. The game looks and feels great! Another thing we like is you dont have to spend a $dime to play and if you choose to watch advertisements some will give you ingame credits. We ended buying a couple ships we couldnt figure out how to level up to but the hours of fun Ive had playing make up for it.

Space commander: War and trade is a great game. If you played Pirate: Caribbean Hunt(which is a great game) and then play this game then you get what you expect and then some more. We honestly dont have a lot of things to complain about for this game except for some minor bugs which doesnt really bother us. But the game lacks in some areas, it mostly just things that should be added to the game. Such as trading. Its a major inconvenience to have to do all the trading yourself. It would be nice to make transports(big or light) to do the trading automatically if you command them to do so and to be able to add escorts to them. We also would like to add escorts to the transports that are shipping supplies between the station owned by the player. The next area that needs to have some things added is capital ships. The biggest ship you can own is a transport which the player only get when he/she has two or more stations. Thats got to change it would be nice to own corvettes and a frigate. We are find with not having a cruiser or dreadnaught, but we should at least be able to by or build a corvette and a frigate maybe a destroyer. It doesnt makes since that we can own station across different star systems but we cant own a capital ship.(--) It would make larger scale battles/war a whole lot better. If we do get capital ships added to the Players fleet it would be nice if they had hangers, that is if we get cruisers and dreadnaughts(do not make the corvettes, frigates and destroyers premium. Dreadnaught and cruisers are up to you devs) would also like to send a attack team to intercept pirates that are trying to Hijack the players transports Another thing star-gates needs to be able to be built a little while after the player discovers a new star system. Yall can easily add this by adding a time line and with that as time progress in game planets could also start to be colonized. Finally the last things is the not being able to login into the game on the Nintendo switch.(--) we dont know if its because of the premium content but even then it still would be nice to login into our account on the switch. If its due to the fact that you have to buy the game for the price of all the paid content then it would be great to have a redeem purchase on the mobile version but instead you get a code once you purchase and login into the game on the switch. We really want cross save between Mobile and switch alot. If yall devs read this we thank yall and please please take some of the stuff we said into consideration and expand on it if possible. But if yall dont read it then its okay.

We purchased the no-ad option, which is always a god-send for f2p games. But we'd appreciate if the after-mission ad to double rewards was removed as well. We'd even pay extra to get that out of the way. Over-all we'd likely buy this game around $12 if it were full-priced.

We enjoy the game very much but find its extremely difficult to earn enough money to accomplish things. The missions you get that are actually really worth doing credits-wise end up costing almost as much if not more in repairs and restock afterwards, meaning you spend all that time with doing the mission and made no profit off the effort. Trading in the game is pretty hard too, theres really no profit in trading unless its the super expensive items that you buy and sell, but even that runs out. The missions that actually are about trading cargo are usually the best guaranteed pay, but theyre so few and far between. Overall we like that actual gameplay l, itd be really cool if we could have something larger than a bomber like a cruiser or dreadnought but the fighter play style is really fun. We just feel its too hard to advance to the next stage of the game like owning a super large fleet or multiple stations, payouts need to be increased on all missions in our opinion if its going to be worth playing. Also side note, we purchased the $10 mega pack that was supposed to give us one of each ship and 50000 credits and allows us to purchase the planes it unlocks. We never got the credits or one copy of each ship, the only reason Im not a little more annoyed is because the unlocked ships are actually really cool. Love the way you can customize the coloring of the ships.

Why is there no mission editor in this but ww1 and WW2 have mission editor.

We cant even pass the second part because Im fighting 6 ships that have better stuff than us and have a habit for ramming us.

Looked like it might have been a decent game, graphics-wise, if the tutorial could get its head out of its butt and tell us how to play. Deleted.

Its impossible to stay on a capital ship long enough to take out its components. By the time the different components can be targeted, your ship has overshot the enemy and you lose target contact. You cant slow your ship down so you just overshoot and fly past the capital ships before you can take out their components individually. Until you either fix these bugs your game is unplayable. We cant get past the fleet outside the wormhole and Im darn sure not going to drop real money to buy a ship that is overpowered and can do it. We were super excited about a new space game with depth and quality but we cant and wont recommend this game until these issues are fixed.

Getting to the set control to get in the range of shooting enemies is a massive irritating to shoot them. Its completely frustrating. We cant get much damage overall on anyone. We barely make a dent.

This game is great for when Im away from our computer or bored. The fact that we can buy multiple types of the same ship is great compared to the last few games. And if anyone is struggling with credits just look for trade missions not the trade hints. But one part we do not understand is the other solar system portals. We went through one and there was nothing and we only got a few credits for going through. If the developer could respond to this, that would be great great. And the developers other games still hold up especially war tortoise 2, and the pirate Caribbean hunt.

Perfect combination of the authors previous games the dogfight series and the Caribbean series. It has 3D dogfights whilst being open world and fun to play. Its a very nice addition to the authors amazing games.

This game is really enjoyable! Humanity has taken to the stars and started colonizing other planets, moons, asteroids and even other solar systems. You control a starship and dogfight against pirates and ruthless corporations that are trying to control trade. As you progress in the game, you aquire more ships from fast interceptors to deadly gunboats armed to the team. You can fly just one ship into battle or take your entire squadron of ships. If you take your squadron, you can give general commands to each ship like "Attack fighters" or "Attack capitol ships". You can switch between your ships and fly as your balanced fighter in one moment then jump into your bomber to take out the heavy weapons on the big cruiser. As you fly your ship, you can change its distribution of energy. Pour everything into your weapons so they recharge faster. Dump all energy back into shields to avoid hull damamger. Choose a balance between weapons and boosters or other combinations. Flying your ship is just as simple as moving your mouse. Whether you're using a track pad or a regular mouse, it takes only one or two flights to get the hang of it. When it comes to shooting at other ships, IT'S EASY. Hold your aim button and you will lock onto a target. No need to slightly move the mouse to get your crosshairs lined up perfectly. If you want a real challenge, don't use the aim button! It's just that simple to either make dogfighting fun, enjoyable, and not super stressful or to make dogfighting intense. Maybe you don't want to fight all the time and just want to earn some easy cash. You can build up a fleet of transport ships and haul cargo from one place to another, buying cheap and selling high. As your stock piles of cash increase, you can buys space stations across the system allowing you to refuel, repair, and rearm at cheaper rates than on stations you don't control. You need to manage your expenses because the further you fly, the more fuel you expend and you will need to refuel. Your ships will be damage from missiles, cannons, or collisions and you will need to land somewhere for quick repairs. Your bombers only carry so many missiles and you will need to rearm. There is a balancing act in managing resources. There are jobs you can pick up at different stations to earn more cash. People will also reach out with special jobs. As you perform jobs, you will increase your reputation with the different factions allowing you access to better jobs. One thing that we have learned about the game and it is actually really cool (to us anyway) is that traveling across a system takes time (in game time not real world time). You can fly slower to your destination and spend less fuel but that takes longer to arrive or fly faster and spend more fuel. What we like about this is that you will get a mission where an enemy fleet is moving toward a base to attack it. As you look at the map and adjust your speed, you will see your intercept destination change. Fly slower and you intercept them closer to the base you are defending. Fly faster and you intercept them further away. You can still travel to to other bases instead of directly attacking the fleet and after every jump to a new place, you can see the fleet has moved closer to its target. It definitely creates a sense of urgency at times but gives you breathing room at other times. Speaking of the map, always check your map. If you accept a job, check your map. Your map will let you know where need to go to complete your job. Your map is also how you navigate around the solar system. Overall this game is so much fun. Managing your resources takes a little getting thang of and finding a healthy balance between fighting all the time and doing cargo hauls to get quick cash. And the fact that it's free is incredible! There are in app purchases but not necessary to play the game and have fun. You can spend a couple of $$ to buy a better ship or spend some reall $$ to buy in game currency. But that is only if you want to. Definitely check the game out and play through some of the story missions to get a good feel of the game. Fly Safe and Happy Hunting.

We love this game so much you guys make good quality games world war one and two dogfights are literally our favorites and this one became one of them thank you guys for creating good games. If you guys plan on creating new space games in the future could you guys make Star Wars fighter games based of the prequel, original, and sequel trilogies because we would really really love to play an amazing Star Wars game from you guys.

We love this game we love the combat and the demand of each station we hate capital ship though they are fricking annoying we love the people who made this game they are our favorite we loved the war planes game this is our second game made by the people their games are so fun download it now you will probably like it.

We love this game, but we would like it if larger ships could be available for purchase and use.

It is new! Large game and no lag.

This game is fun. The gameplay is a lot like Ambrosia Software's Escape Velocity (Macintosh release, 1996 and later) games, except the battles in War and Trade are HD 3D while Escape Velocity's battles were black and white 2D. We wasted lots of time trading and fighting pirates and joining various coalitions in EV. We've only played War and Trade for a few hours, but once a few of the basic skills are learnedlike locking on opponents with the right mouse button (rmb in game)it's not too difficult if you are patient. Sure the first few conflicts are easy, but unless you've done some trading and money-making to build up your ships, you'll find yourself having lots of difficulty later. War and Trade has a few rough edges, but so far, it's fun.

Will you add community missions? Now.
