Different Game Modes
Play Spades in multiple game modes to experience the different gaming fun. Select whichever you like and enjoy by yourself or with your partner.
Solo: Bid the number of trick you expect to take in your turn.
Partner: The bids by two members are added together.
Suicide: Play as 2V2. You must bid either Nil or at least four tricks. You partner have to bid the opposite.
Whiz: Play as 2V2. You must bid the exact number of spades in your hand or go Nil. Blind bidding is not allowed.
Mirror: Similar to Whiz, you must bid the number of spades in their hand. However you cannot go Nil unless you have no spades.
Board: Play as 2V2, the team must bid at least four tricks or go Double Nil.
Basic Rules:
You can bid the number of trick you expect to take in your turn. A bid of “zero” is called “nil”. In partnership Spades, the bids by two members are added together.
You must follow suit of the first card if you can; otherwise you may play any card, including a trump Spade.
You may not lead Spades until a spade is played to trump another trick.
The trick is won by the player who played the highest card of the led suit – or if trumps were played, the highest trump card wins.
Whoever or whichever team reaches the exact number of the bid will win the game.

Our only way is always to bid the nil bid.

Most spades games are set up so that if either team gets 10 books or bags over their Bid they are penalize points, this game has no such rules, why? We shave also noticed that there are times when the Ace of spades is not in the deck.
When a trick is definitely yours, your partner shouldnt cut it if possible!!! We never knew a computer could be so dumb!
We absolutely love this app! We even paid for no ads. However, on our 2021 Apple devices it does NOT display all the cards. What a bummer!!! Fix this glitch and its back to 5 stars. Thats our only complaint. Otherwise, its the BEST for playing Spades. Well worth the money.
The game is fun but it needs a lot of work! Your partner cuts over you even when you have won the book! Thats very frustrating.
Holding an ace of spades and bidding zero is just plain stupid.
Im not allowed to play the card we want to play and in the beginning of each round we cant see what card is all the way to the left.
30 second ad after each hand is absolutely ridiculous. Played for 10 minutes and deleted from our phone. Dont even see a o e star is justified, but no other option.
Could have been a good game but the ads drive you away. Youre held each round to a 30 second ad before you resume the game. We’ve removed the game as the aggravation isnt worth enduring for a spades game!
The game itself is fine. The number of ads is outrageous. At 9.99 its extremely over priced. However, we bought it thinking that the ads would disappear. How wrong we were. Utterly ridiculous that we still have to watch ads after paying 9.99. Do NOT buy this app.
Terrible game! Theres an ad after every single hand!
When we change the restrictions to 12 and under so that we dont see the R rated and above ads which are very disturbing. Why does the spade game disappear ?? The ads are not the problem, its the type of ads that are being advertised for the 17 + and not being able to play the spade card game if we change the restrictions to a 12 or under rated. Why should we have to have watch those types of ads to play a card game?
We dont think so. We changed our name from player 1 to our first name. We’ve yet to see any other opponents with a real name. Im not happy with the ad after EVERY had, but Im not paying $9.99 to get rid of them when Im pretty sure every opponent is a robot. We only play solo games. Never partners. Another reason we think they are all robots, no chat and no emojis.
The game is great but too many ads. One after each hand & having to add a nickname just to submit a rating. Thats crazy.

Pretty fun spade game. The bots are terrible players and always cut over their partner and cover opponents nils, lol. The ads are none stop. Very annoying.

A well constructed fun game. The automatic play is of a good quality making it neither too easy or frustratingly difficult. Some games raise difficulty by lowering the quality of your partners play, which is insanely frustrating. Our only quibble is that even though we paid to play without ads, rewards and bonuses still require watching an ad to collect. Fortunately, it is simple to decline them. Still it seems like false advertising to us.
To many ads. Give an option to not get so many ads.
We’ve been playing since a kid its a must know how too play. This app is super fun but we do think the ppl you win for a day or so should be compared to your skill level. That would make this game so much better. Our other players keep cutting our books leaving us to get set. Dont like that part.
Love the app, its also a good teaching tool for beginners. We wish there was a rating system for choosing pairs, so we know who is a more advanced player. The ads are long, overall it is still a fun app.
Enjoy the way this plays but partners bidding is off; seldom come close to what they bid. Their mode of playing is ALWAYS sandbagging. Worst of all the game locks up quite frequently which requires turning our device off and on. Very irritating!!! If we could find another game we could play solo we would not be playing this one.
That is literally the problem. Played one hand and Im done. You have to earn cards that you can easily/quickly see! Ridiculous.

Who ever designed this game was not a very good Spadesplayer. The game will cut its partners winning leads. The Game has no clue as to how to play the Nil. If you are the Nil you can rely on the opposing players to lead with an Ace if they have it every time. Other than the weak play, its very entertaining.
We understand how difficult, it is to write code to make your partner understand the concept of covering your partners nil but if they cant implement it, then the option to go nil should not be there. Beyond that, make sure to go airplane mode before you play or you will get an add between every hand. Already looking for another spades game, had this one for about an hour.
Card graphics are terrible. In order to change the card face you have to watch ads to unlock a different card face. Ok after watching the ad when you leave the game and come back that card face that was unlocked is relocated and you are made to watch ads again. This is so annoying. Also the game is set to give almost every spade to the computer generated players. The only way to win is to constantly take nils and not get busted. BORING!
The partners are rigged to throw off to purposely get the book taken. We’ve watched and screen recorded several times where our partner will throw out their King to get taken when they have lower cards in the hand of the same suit. The bidding would be set up perfectly and it always happens. Then when you wise up to it the partner starts to bid super low. Bidding 2 when they have 5 in their hand making us over bid every time to get set back the 100 points. This game is not structured properly. Paid for no advertisements and still get an ad that turns off your music every single time. This game and app is trash. Definitely deleting and if we could give negative stars we would.
Couldnt even play 1 game. After 2 hands an ad tried to play and froze, only way out was to close and delete. Right from the start, not visually pleasing at all. Then the voice telling you what the people bid. Ads after every hand. We understand as a programmer, it has to be hard to program a spades bot, but somebody somewhere said yeah, this seems fine. THAT person is a disgrace to the game of spades (or any card game for that matter).
Nothing but FUN here! Addictive, soooooo much so. We play just about all day in between scrabble. Go do our words & right back where we left off! Oh Happy Happy Joy Joy!

80% of ads on this app are Trump ads…. We deleted this app because of that. Otherwise good game.

Fun game but it will take we’ve made in several occasions.
We really wanted to like this app. The fact that we can choose levels of difficulty, select or mute specific features, and manipulate some aesthetics is nice. But two of the apps key characteristics annoy us to the point of deleting the app and finding another that does not have these characteristics. First, the incessant presentation of ads is craven in the extreme. We get that developers want to make money, and we support that. But to make them a life-long feature is beyond annoying. Build in a fade so they fade and disappear after, say, 100 or even 200 plays. Have some respect for those who support you. Second, the ads on our version are sexist, misogynistic, culturally offensive, and utterly inappropriate. What on earth were developers thinking? If you cant do better than this, you need to get into a different line of work. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST PURCHASING THIS APP.
Partners play crazy games. We believe they are all Computer generated. Dumb and useless. All ratings are fake. We wouldn’t suggest this to anyone.
Decided to try another Spades app. We currently play Spades Plus and love it. But decided to check out other spade apps. This one is horrible. Feels like you are playing with robots. The screen is small and not visually pleasing. Also what is up with all the ads after every round?!! No thank you. We quite before our first game was over.
An ad in between every single hand? Really?? It turns a two minute hand into five minutes. We would actually enjoy it if it werent for SO MANY ADS. Smh.

Great game play but holy crap are there a ton more ads than necessary!!! We mean after EVERY round???
