Why cant we find Spades++, the paid version, in the app store? The adds are too long and you get booted.
This game is great, but the ads take over and get you booted out a lot. Its worse than before. You cant get out of the ads. Either the game needs to extend the wait time or ad times need to be adjusted.
Great game. Fast play. Easy to see the cards. Its gotten us through some long flights.

Great way to learn and be competitive, only annoying thing is the ads and how you close them, we get having ads but it feels like spam more than ads and sometimes we miss our turn even. But yeah, we love spades and this app, we would prefer to pay a one time fee but $20 a mon or the sub fee is kinda wild.
You now force advertisement of other games right in the middle of hands and disrupt the continuity of the game. Why in the world would add these changes that disrupt the fun and competitiveness of the game. If u dont fix this imm done with your game apps after being a daily regular player for over 10 years. How sad.

Love the simplicity of this app. Only real complaint is that there is not a chill out! Button in competition mode for when others start hitting no way too much.
You are at the mercy of the algorithm. You will go on streaks of winning and losing. Over time you will see. Bad cards after bad cards. It gets obvious. Also, its annoying when people quit. It takes way too long for them to get booted and have a bot replace them.
We love it simple, and realistic.
We like this game very much it keep us busy.
Our biggest problem isn't the gameplay it's the ads that freeze up and don't allow you to exit. We've gotten to the last hand in 3 consecutive games and the ads caused us to lock up and get logged out.
We truly want to thank the developers to allow us to BOOT a player that hold up a game. BUT, please explain to us WHY we would get LESS points than our pard. WHY.
Too many players quit or make bids to lose on purpose. Maybe 3 out of 5 games play all the way to finish. Need to block quitters faster and longer, then ban them if they continue to be quitters. Or have a section that only allows players that have a low quit rating. We would pay a fee for this section and no ads.
As of 9/4/25 Ive played 4 games that lagged and caused us to get booted. Ive been playing this game for well over a decade and never had this problem.
Fun past time, they should offer more coins we dont like the fact that people are able to quit in the middle of a rated game which makes your rating/ranking go down other than that fun spades game.
Game is great except for one glaring flaw. We just wasted a token playing online because of the ads. Got booted for inactivity due to having to sit through the ad the game makes you watch. Its incredibly stupid to have the game do that to you.
We enjoy playing this game but we wish there was a way to block players. Some people are awful and we would prefer they arent our partner again in the future. Also we get stuck in ads which leads to getting booted from the game. There is also a large number of players who quit when they are losing. We feel like they should get a larger point deduction for being a sore loser.
Overall, this is a good game to kill some time and boost your skill, a bit in spades. But many times lately the ads are so long before you can skip them that you get booted from the Game.
We updated our iPad and this program wont open.
Our only criticism is that we wish there was higher point ranked games. 250 is not enough to see who is better if nil is allowed. And we like being able to nil so a 500 or 1000 point ranked tier is needed.
The ads are oppressively long. If you click the wrong button you find it very difficult to get back to the game in time. The game is fun to play but there are some indications that the algorithms are rigged. Don't take this game seriously.
This game is very fun to play howeverthe ads are very aggressive and annoying.

The AI teammate makes the game frustrating instead of fun. If we bid 0 and purposely play our lowest card in a suit, why would our robot partner throw an even lower cardessentially sabotaging our nil? Then, in the very next round, that same suit is played again and the robot throws a high card, proving they had a better option! Its like our own teammate is playing against us. Spades is all about strategy and partnershipplease fix the AI logic so it's actually helpful, not harmful.
The bots are dumb and other apps have much more intelligent bot. You bid nil, and the bot always trumps with its highest spade a suit. NO GAME PLAYER DOES IT. It makes bidding nil even more riskier than usual and when youre playing ranked game nearly impossible to win with a bot. It your bot was ranked it played at a 800 level.
New features and bug fixes include now having ads on the screen the whole time you are playing. Im done.
Video ads play after each round and will not shut off after viewing. Frequently have to end game and start over. Very irritating.
We play this game b/c we are playing AI for practice. However, something in their algorithm is off b/c we have encountered them reneging. Also, it seems we get the same type of hand over and over again with one face card, and our AI opponents always end up with Kings and Aces. Also, a zero bid is allowed, but we think its cheating because either our opponent or partner will throw off with Aces. Cant stand it. Update: we dont know if we want to blame cheating or just AI, but yeah, we had to throw this back. We get a hand with 2 spades, 3 heart, 7 clubs, and 1 heart back to back to back to back after starting a new solo hand/game. We play spades enough to know your hands should look the same every time, and playing AI, and getting 7 of the same suit repeatedly is asylum.
Ive downloaded this twice and both times, even with adjusted settings, it is too easy to win.
Generally like the game, however some of the ads are so long they will get you booted from the game. Case in point – Royal Match.
We love this game. Generally speaking, its a great app. A lot of people will go nil first hand and then quit if it fails but you cant really do anything about that.. Our main gripe is with ads. They have them between hands which causes delays and has even gotten us booted from games. Sometimes the x to close the ad doesnt appear in time, and we get bored due to inactivity. Thats frustrating. Put them at a point where time is not of the essence.
Ive been kicked out of 5 games this weekend because you cant close out of the ads. Great app other than that.
We noticed today the ads that popped up between each round were about meal prep. Whats weird we just googled on our phone a meal prep 1 day ago and today all the ads are meal prep. We believe the app is using data it shouldnt be.
This could be programmed better. Frequently our partner doesnt take a trick but bids high.and, at times the partner will purposely go set.
Sometimes the advertisements are hard to get out of and you get booted from the game. Happens often.

The banner ads are tolerable but the video ads after every hand will force you to quit by timing out, itll happen often enough to ruin this app from being fun. They are trying to force people to pay a daily (!) or weekly fee to play. Look elsewhere, this is a waste. The penalty for players who quit when losing is not enough to be a deterrent. Look elsewhere, this free version not worth your time.
Absolutely the dumbest computer partner you could ask for.
Once you reach 2000, the game should stop pairing you with anyone below that benchmark. It makes no sense to be above 2000, playing with 1800 score people who dont know how to play and just further drag down your score. We realize this would make it harder to advance but it would be worth it. Some of these people really REALLY have no concept of spades other than play low cards and high cards. UPDATE: STOP with the ads during real game play. Its one thing to show ads in between rounds but now ads pop up in FULL SCREEN while Im playing. Its absolute greed and ridiculousness. If we hadnt discovered how to exit the ad, Id get booted every time and then what would be the point of even playing?? Fix that stuff pronto.
This game has helped us and a few friends learn the game.
We played this game for many years now and we paid for the ad free. It was a one time fee, but now they charge you a monthly fee. The ads have gotten so ridiculous and pop-ups in the middle of the game, we get at least 4 to 5 pop-ups during the middle of the game, and it happens during the middle of the round so sometimes you cannot see the last card played. We didnt mind so much after around you would get ads, but it is just total craziness that you get five pop-ups during the middle of the game.
Most entertaining and satisfying game Ive ever played.
