We love this game but after a while itll eventually delete all our saved data and we have no idea why.
The music is fantastic in this game.
We have been playing this game since 2019, and we got a new phone and completely lost the game for about a year until we saw it again in Apple Arcade. We’ve found it and havent been able to stop playing on it.
We love the graphics a lot plus our favorite mode is Escape because its another awesome challenge!
Looks good plays good 2 things us adults look for.

We love racing games, but most only have one game mode. This game has all different types of stuff. Like rampage, pursuit, and our favorite: escape. We recomend this game for duders who are bored of ur average racer game. Its sick.

Its such a fun game because it has challenging mechanics but its not impossible so u could be playing it 4 hours on a road trip or something.

This game is in our opinion a excellent way to pass time and its very well made, and we like how you play in different places and different modes overall this game is very good Id recommend it to anyone who asks for a fun racing game.
It hasn’t changed. Even though it’s a fun game it’s still the same you should add more levels or like a part where you fight bosses and coins should be easier to maintain.
The controls are great and the races are very fun the color scheme makes us want to play we love this game.
It would be cool if you could add a free roam mode where you could decide what challenge you wanted to do, what car you wanted to use, and the distance. Another thing you could add could add is multiplayer! We would LOVE to play this game with our friend Lucas. You could also add a cinematic camera for epic screenshots and videos. Overall, great game that we recommend to you.
Game has so much action and there are all kinds of different colors you can choose from it is so much fun!
We have a job where Im on the road a significant amount of time. Drivers these days are stupid and slow and make us so mad. We played this game one time and the vicarious destruction we caused in the game, helps out our road rage sooo much. Obviously we dont play while driving. Every car in the game is tied to a vehicle in real life from the day prior. Makes us feel, free lol.
After 10 min our 13promax got hot and screen brightness dimmed down. Not sure why would it heat up in this game. Don’t have this issue in cod mobile. Otherwise its a good game.
This game is good for any amount of time. Some of the levels are really hard though, like the LTZ pursuit. We think it would be fun if you could add creating levels, not maps, so it would be like choosing what the map is, the demons and the chance of spawning different demons, the special things you see before entering, we think that would be pretty good.
Every time we try to do one of the races in ch. 2, the game quits on us. We’re using a bramd new iPad so it’s not the device. Otherwise we are totally hooked. Awesome game.
Remember that game on your old nokia phone where a ball drops through vertically scrolling platforms and you had to maneuver between staggered gaps in those platforms to keep the ball dropping? This is that same game but the ball is your car and the platforms are other moving cars and you maneuver between them. Great concept! The game becomes more difficult as you play and unlock and upgrade faster cars, again, just like that ball dropping game kept getting faster. How do you add more challenge to the game? They could have added more difficulty by making tracks with more curves or adding drift or boost mechanics like proper racing games like need for speed or asphalt do. Instead, they added difficulty with annoying pillars on the road that significantly slow you down if you hit 2-3 of them in a row. These pillars are everywhere and almost impossible to spot on a scrolling screen in topdown perspective. Add to that game modes like pursuit where other cars are intentionally bumping you into those pillars all the time and it becomes one big annoying grind to complete races. This is the lazy way to do a difficulty curve. The more you play this game, it becomes less about skill and more about luck. Add more interesting curves and more interesting driving mechanics instead of these annoying pillars.
So Ill write this review in two parts, starting with overall gameplay, design, functionality, etc. To start off, Speed Demons is phenomenal! Its constant exhilaration and fast-paced driving makes you hold your breath. Its exciting, mesmerizing, and very addicting, the different vehicles offer a great variety to the level maps, as well as a customizable soundtrack that lets you cruise to the games select tunes (which are great btw!). The games design is fantastic as well, with great color contrasts between AI, track, and you, different camera angles and zoom that gives you the angle you want, and easy organization of levels and chapters. Only thing that would be nice would be a restart button within the pause menu, but thats about it. The ONLY thing we’ve very much disliked so far with this game, is that its completely reset our progress twice within the past 6 days. Not somewhat erased, COMPLETELY erased. We finally pushed through a lot of our reset progress up to chapter 4 yesterday, only to have it wiped again this morning. This is very, very frustrating to us as now we have no guarantee that any amount of progress we make in the coming days will actually stick, which is the first de-incentivizer we’ve encountered with this game so far. Genuinely upsetting. Overall, fantastic game that keeps bringing us back to beat our own records again and again, always offering new challenges, and consistently providing an amazing mobile gameplay experience. Just wish the progress resetting wasnt a thing. If theres any way we can regain it or get compensation for it, Id be more than happy to hear what the developers have to say! Cheers!
Man this game is really fun but when you reach the stingray, you have to do a takedown challenge. Its literally impossible. This is the issue with the game. Some of the levels are incredibly unbalanced, to the point that you skip them. At some point we beat all the levels until we made it to the stingray challenge. On the takedown challenge its so hard to shoot the missiles. Also some of the demons that you shoot dont seem to give you any points for takedown. Grr.
We really enjoy this game, esp. The weekly event challenges. Some events are a bit unbalanced, and can be problematic. Couple events have issues, specifically the Epilogue – Skyward Takedown event on the Gateway Bridge w/the Stingray vehicle; guided missile tracking is wonky and not enough Demons to encounter to meet the goal of 3 Stars. It can be very difficult at times to know which car is you; could be nice to have the option to select your car color. Online racing could be a nice added feature down the road!
The game is fine, but we notice the game will do everything in its power to stop you from getting 3 stars on your first attempt, but will feed 3 stars to you on a spoon the second attempt. Might as well afk the first run through of each mission.
The first chapter of races in this game are very fun and addicting. Once you pass those the game becomes almost impossibly difficult. To the point of wanting to chuck your phone out a window. Wish we could give it a better rating but not with how quickly it became almost unplayable.
Great game and a lot of fun. But its lost all of our progress twice. And it lets us get a few levels in before doing it. We refuse to play anymore it sucked all the fun out of the game.
Deserves no stars. Why? Because its one of those games where you make a bunch of progressand then all that progress gets wiped out because of bad coding and programming and you have to start all over again. This game has deleted our progress TWICE. We have screenshots that show we’ve completed 11/18 Achievementsand yet if we want to play we have to start from the beginning and replay every single race and challenge that we’ve already played TWICE. Seems like if you want people to play your game you wouldnt want them to have to start over again and again. Seems like a pretty major flaw that your progress cant be saved. So Im deleting this garbage and moving on to something that actually works.
This is the worst game ever DO NOT PLAY.
First off lets start with the settings, personally we think people should automatically increase the sensitivity to 3. It makes it so much easier with swerving around cars. Second, the graphics, if your phone heats up very quickly you could do the 30hz it would help a lot. Finally, there is nothing else to really say other than this game is a great one. It is something that you could definitely use when you are bored.
The game is awesome, It has great quality and attention to detail! However, any time we attempt to pick a car for a race or mission, the game crashes and kicks us out. Other than that, its a great game!
Speed Demons is one of the most fun games that exists for your iPhone. Its phenomenal. We love that its played up & down, not horizontally. We love the cars, the traffic, the effects, the mechanics, we could go on & on, but this update on an arcade classic is one of the best-executed ideas ever to come to your device. We applaud all those involved with its development. This game alone is worth whatever an Apple Arcade subscription costs. Play at your own risk, as it is extremely addictive!
It is good Im just speechless.
Somethings wrong with the Alpha Cup section in chapter 1. No matter what we do, the game closes on us once we select a car we want to use. Can you see if theres something you can do to fix this issue?
This game is awesome but every time we select a vehicle it crashes and we restarted our iPad and deleted the game and reinstalled it but it stills crashes please fix.
Everything in the game is great except every time we try to play the alpha cup and choose a car we get kicked out of the game.
When Im doing the alpha cup the game kicks us when we select a car for the cup.
We love this game! It has simple controls that are easy to learn yet difficult to master. The randomly generated traffic makes changes it up so you cant memorize the levels. One issue, though, is that the game crashes when we try to select a car for the open alpha cup. We havent tried the other open cups, but we assume they are the same.
