We cant believe we didnt see this game before. We think way too many games in the App Store not to have. Sure its not as polished as hearthstone and games like it put it hes really well done. No pop-ups or timers or anything has bothered us you just get to enjoy the game at your own pace without having to pay constant money. Any game that is this good and respects us as a person deserves at least four stars. This game gets the extra star! We believe you gonna lock the full game for three dollars and its actually worth that so far.

What a great little game. Affordable and high quality. This is an excellent game for bust people who want to escape for a minute or two. Will buy from this developer in the future.

Not only does the game hide the fact that you have to pay money to play after the first few fights, but the game also hides the fact that it is incomplete as well. Once youre about 9/10 done with the purchased section of the game, it tells you that its not finished and that you should join the discord server for updates. Dont charge for incomplete things.

The other reviews are correct. This game is not balanced at all. The developer put a lot of thought into the story, the different types of game play and the price structure, but thats where it ends. We love a good challenge but the game crosses the line between satisfyingly challenging and frustratingly demotivating at the hydra battle (L5) then becomes exponentially worse. We dont mind having to play a board 4-5 times to win but when you play dozens of times and still cant pass it just becomes an annoying chore- and yes we’ve adjusted our decks. Additionally there is no motivation to do other things in the game- you dont earn loot from the job board, the stores empty quickly and you cant build your deck, and there are very few cards to craft. The other types of game play add no value to your campaign progress so they are mostly a waste of time. We love the idea of the gauntlet but wish you could restart a single season after dying at her than restarting the entire game. Again-frustratingly demotivating. It would also be nice if you gained experience points here because you have to fight a lot of battles. The puzzles are easy to defeat quickly and not worth replaying. The arena is probably the most fun, but the game doesnt maintain any record of past victories once youve lost 3 times so it loses appeal quickly, especially since you dont earn anything. Overall great intention, beautiful design, awful execution.

Great game. Love the campaign mode. Best card game ever easily. But we finished the endarian tomb with our 5th level fighter 2nd level mage also finished all the quests. In the tomb the story said we found a black pit in the ground but we cant get down it. The story seems to end here does it? In the endarian tomb? There seemed to be a lot more to go. If so how to proceed? Thanks for any suggestions. We just want to keep questing. A huge fan.

Pros: The different classes are thematically cool and distinct. Encounters are well-balanced. Cons: There is no lower limit to deck size and no card randomness, which makes for very consistent, predictable deck performance. This is a BAD thing, because all of your games play out similarly which limits the depth of gameplay, makes the gameplay repetitive and severely cuts down on replayability. The game attempts to compensate by throwing encounters with wildly different starting conditions and circumstances at you which force you to tailor your deck to the encounter… But technically its a pain, since you need to remove all of the cards from your deck, then add the cards you need for the encounter, beat the encounter, then remove all of the cards in your deck again and then re-build your old deck, which is more tedious than doing your taxes. All in all, its fun for a while, but some poor design choices lead to the game getting old and overstaying its welcome pretty quickly.

First of all: If you are looking for a card game that doesnt require online play, this is probably a solid choice for you. We appreciate how dedicated this is to the single player experience when most card games are not. That being said, being an offline game means there are different gameplay issues you can have, and two big ones we have notice after playing this game for a long time. 1. This game is highly unbalanced. There are a range of cards that go from worthless to overpowered. While that is true is most card games, being offline means it doesnt have to be fixed since there is no competitive mode. 2. There is a lack of content. As single player, it eventually just runs out of stuff to do. We do appreciate that developers are still updating, but we found myself finished with the main functions of the game much quicker than expected, which was disappointing for a paid game. The other modes beyond campaign offered no rewards or reason to play beyond trying to keep your attention which was also disappointing. Hoping to see more soon.

We bought this game because early on it is incredibly fun. But as you progress thru the campaign it becomes very difficult. Which would be fine except for the fact that it is super hard to get new cards. So you are forced to grind for hours to gain enough experience to gain a level and hope the cards are useful enough to get thru the roadblocks. This could be easily remedied by giving you more cards to buy with in game currency. We have plenty of money but nothing to spend it on… The other modes are separate from campaign so there is no relief there. After purchasing the game there is no micro transactions. So why make the game so frustrating? We would recommend saving your 3 bucks.

This game has been an absolute blast to play daily. We want to thank the developers for creating a game focused on single player in the age of online only games. The gameplay is solid and the art is beautiful. Whenever you seem to hit a wall just edit your deck. You can come up with some really cool strategies this way. Please developers: continue to support and add to this game, even if its a premium pack. We were bummed when Hearthstone decided to not cater to the solo player. This is just as fun. One criticism is that the number of puzzle levels is really low. Some more of those would be nice. Thanks and great work!

Im really enjoying this so far and am hoping to see more games like this one. So far we have completed the first part of the campaign with a couple of different types of characters… Theres actually a lot of depth and challenge. Its nice to have a solid single player option instead of it all being about pvp. We would love to see more character avatar options, but thats not very important.

First, have to say something about the developers. This game proves that good developers dont need to be terrible and greedy! An honest, old school what you see is what you get game without loot boxes or ridiculous 100$ in app purchases. The game is good because all their energy went into making the game good, and selling it for a fair price. Cannot say enough – much respect to them! The game is great if you enjoy single player modes of hearthstone, slay the spire, or these types of single player card based rpgs. Its got a campaign mode and a rogue-like mode, as well as a couple other modes. Highly recommend it.

Id highly recommend this to anyone who loves card games, but at a certain point around lvl 4 you find some insanely powerful units, and we get that just make the grind for exp easier to help players progress the Lvl and actually be able to beat these monsters, the krakens ability to hit you every turn for dmg equal to amount of turns passed is so op we have yet to find a way around that skill, hope to see more in the future and hopefully it wont drop off later due to difficulties for 2.99 let us enjoy it!

Fun take on Hearthstone, but the difficulty zips up exponentially after the demo. By the 20th time youve lost the same fight it stops feeling like a challenge and starts just feeling like a kinda cheap way to pad out the game.

Great game with lots to do, all at your own pace. You can spend hours on story or the many other fun modes. It could be a staple for iPhone games. We do hope they add more sound effects and make the combat smoother. Nonetheless, it’s worth the very cheap price for the full unlock. Please support amazing premium games like this one! We hope for more polishing updates in the future.

We absolutely love the card mechanics, equipping weapons, armor and summoning companions, instead of just sliding up and using cards as is, ads an extra bit of strategy. The art work is gorgeous In the cut scenes. The graphics all around are easy on the eyes. Dont really know much about other card games (hearthstone, ect.) besides StS. So for us it has originality. 1 hour in and Im diggin it, seems legit. GG devs.

We have been waiting for a hearthstone like game likes this to play on the plane…. Thank you so much. Please dont change this feature.

We need more offline games in general and thank you so much devs for making the story offline. It really will help your game out. The game still needs some polishing but overall its fully worth downloading. If we read the in app purchases right you have to buy later acts and honestly with what we’ve been playing we might just do that.
