In Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor, you take on the role of a simple house spider. Make your way from the gardens into the mysterious abandoned home, building webs to catch your prey. Crawl up the walls and climb into crevices to find hidden surprises, and eat your fill of insects to grow strong. With intuitive touch controls, you’ll be constructing massive webs with the flick of a finger.
As you make your way from room to room, your little spider will stumble across the pieces of the story of what happened to the former residents of Bryce Manor. Explore every room thoroughly to find every clue and solve the mystery the house holds within its walls. Be careful, though. There are other hunters around, and some of them have no problem making a quick lunch of you. You’ll have to construct bigger and stronger webs to deal with some of the deadlier twists the game throws at you. With your human brain and spider skills, can you uncover the secret of Bryce Manor?
Uncover the Secret: Search every room thoroughly for clues about what happened in the abandoned manor. Observe your surroundings and solve puzzles to reveal the story!
Battle Nature: Not everything you catch in your web will lay down without a fight. Construct larger and stronger webs to ensnare bigger and deadlier prey!
Interesting Environments: Explore every inch of the house, from the garden to the attic and everything in between. Thread your webs across a kitchen, a dining room, and many more locations!
Intuitive Controls: Use touch controls to take full advantage of your arachnid agility and zip around rooms with ease. Assemble amazing webs with a few flicks your finger, or soar through the air in any direction you choose. Doing whatever a spider can has never been simpler!
Spider HD is playable for free, with some sections and features available only to subscribers of GameClub Pro, an optional auto-renewing monthly subscription which also removes ads. Besides the GameClub Pro subscription, there are no other in-app purchases in this game.

GameClub offers a curated catalog of iconic games, with new titles released every week. Subscribers get access to unlimited gameplay, no ads, and no additional purchases — just pure fun.
If you previously purchased this game, you will receive a free update and be able to continue playing the fully unlocked experience. Please ensure you are installing the same version of Spider you originally purchased – GameClub has updated the HD version (which was originally iPad only), and the non-HD version, which is now a universal app. In order to get the upgrade, you must launch the same version you originally purchased.

Have they no shame? Are these ‘developers’ in the Pharma Bro Club? Buy up other people’s work and then jack up the price? Along with Space Miner and Aralon, these pirates are swallowing up classic favorites and forcing us to pay $4.99 a month to play games we bought and paid for years ago. (The rest of this is repeated on our reviews of the aforementioned kidnapped games) Some folks got together and bought up a bunch of games and have locked them behind a monthly subscription plan. They say they’ll let you continue playing free if you paid for it before. But they are either lying or are incompetent. They require an email to verify you bought the game, but then say the email is invalid (every app we’ve purchased since 2008 has been under the same email). They then tell us we can provide our UserID, from within the game that we can’t access. Finally, they tell us to download any of their games, and they’ll not only unlock it for free, but then use that game info to unlock this one for us. But guess what? We have to subscribe to get the new game first. Every path leads to a monthly subscription. Taking away what we have already paid for and demanding $4.99 a month to unlock it sounds more like a protection racket or extortion to us. Guess we’ll just have to remember what this game was like since we can’t play it anymore.
We were worried that we would no longer be able to play this wonderful game once iOS 11 hit. We are so happy that the game has been updated! It’s still as good as ever and still worth playing. So fun and relaxing. Clever game design unlike any other we’ve played. Highly recommend!
This game is probably our favorite game. We love the clever details, and we also enjoy the hidden mystery. We like how there are different game modes to choose from. But the other thing we enjoy about this game is that the difficulty level is perfect. Not to hard, but not to easy. We could not find any flaws in this game at all! We just ask that you make more spider games. The first one is great, and we still have to try the second one,, but we still would like to have even more! We recommend this game to anyone! -Satisfied Customer.
Doesnt matter how much time it passes or how many time we play this game, it NEVER gets old. Always enjoyed playing this game, plus this takes us back to our childhood too haha Amazing job!!
Dunno about the mystery, but it is fun to build webs and trap bugs! Graphics and music are great, though sometimes it can be frustrating to steer the spider. Any game that makes a spider the hero is a good thing in our book.
If you don’t own this yet, get it now! One of the best early adopters to fully make a game revolve around pure touch controls. It’s a joy to play and and a no brainer while on sale for free!

Downloaded it… Expecting to be bored and just kill time… A few HOURS later, we found myself addicted. It’s relaxing and entertaining. We hate spiders, but this lil guy is likable. Great new addition/addiction to our ipad.

We’ve been playing this on and off for years now. That said how about the sequel? It’s only gone through 2-3 YEARS of delays now after the original news that the sequel was to be released. Tired of hearing from the dev’s that it is coming out on this date, that date, etc.
Great fun, nice graphics, easy game play and nice music. Only wish there were more levels! We’ve already played thru twice.

When we were 12 we had an idea to make a spider game much like this one. 30 years later that concept is a reality far beyond anything our juvenile imagination could have conceived. Brilliantly illustrated, with amazing gameplay and excellent level design – this is a great game. We love it!
If you’re not arachnophobic! Works well, no glitches. Hours of simple mindless entertainment running around eating bugs. Ahhh, the life of a spider! We came back to the App Store to specifically add to this review. We NEVER give 5 stars. This is a 5 star! This game is sooooo much fun. Top five of Best games we ever bought! Even if you are arachnophobic. Get over it by playing this game! Buy it!

We love this app it’s amazing! Not only is it fun but it’s hard and tricky! You have to think outside of the box. It also teaches you geometric shapes. We would recommend this game to tweens, teens, adults, and even elderly if you want to make them think. Its really neat when they show you the webs that you’ve made because you have made a picture out of them, that’s only if you have a good imagination and you can see it. We will tell our friends about this app, we love it!
It’s not an endless runner, a tower defense, or yet another shooter. It is actually something original. :-0 This game has charm to it and the gameplay is addictive. There are also numerous game modes to keep the game fresh for a long time. Great game for folks of any age. Kudos to the developer, who made another game we love in Waking Mars. As an app reviewer who has played hundreds of game on the iPad, it is refreshing to see games like this that bring something new to mobile experience.

This is hands down one of the more creative concept games out there. It is very fun and addictive, so much so that it definitely needs more levels.

Awesome it’s free. If it was paid I’d be really bummed becase we don’t have any iTunes money. But it’s a great game. Only…. What happened to the Bryce people? Looks like they had three kids at least, liked beans, and had many secrets. We want to know them all! What haaaaaaapened! Help help! We really should be doing math not playing this… But it’s fun! Only… Who is the guy in the living room huh? Five stars from us, but don’t just take our word for it, try it out, if you really hate it delete it.

This was a game we completely enjoyed. It was beautiful to look at and wonderful to play. The artwork style give the game a relaxed painterly feel. The tasks did not feel rushed although you can take the challenges. And the gameplay itself is really smart and witty.
Highly recommended. Sounds are realistic, not even a "gross" game… It’s just peaceful and lifelike, and just a great stress reliever. One of the first games we’ve felt that all levels are equipped with the right amount of difficulty and easiness. A challenge, but you’re able to complete every level. Replay value is off the charts. Got it for free, but this is worth 1.99:)
The gameplay is a new good idea and it is fun. Being a spider and making webs with your fingers is easy to pickup. The puzzles are also well designed.

We enjoyed the unspoken story in the background. The pictures, the sadness, the wedding ring in the sink, ect. Fun and well placed story line without having to tell you every detail.
