This game hasnt been updated in a year and the card movement has been getting slower and more sluggish with each iOS update. Its even sluggish on the latest iPad Pro with the M4 chip! Please update Solitaire and compile it against the latest iOS libraries.
We paid for the app to avoid ads, but recently Ive been getting a popup ad for a different app, which we have to tap closed, every time we start a new game. So keep that in mind if youre thinking about paying for the app.
It used to be a five star game but every time it updates it just adds more crap.
Love this game. Feature request: statistic showing number of completed stacks. That would provide more opportunities for positive feedback even on games we don’t win.
Have a button to shuffle the cards.
Love the challenge and we always play the 10 deck game. Would like to see titles of accomplishments awarded for mastering the next level. No big deal but its nice to see if you have moved up the leader board w every win. Maybe double the points if you get two in a row wins. Something along those lines. Ok. Thanks for making such a time wasting, relaxing game.
We have an iPad and love this game. But after a recent update it developed an issuecards in the 2 rightmost columns, when the stack gets long dont want to select. This applies to a tap for the cards to move to the default location and for drag and drop motion. It has not only slowed us down, but caused us to end a couple of games early. We reported it so we hope it gets fixed soon. Love this addictive game.
For relaxation, we play fast one-deck Spider. …been playing a long time. Right or wrong, Ive come to the conclusion that theres a pattern to shuffles…that we can almost predict cards that will be uncovered. …we can fairly quickly predict a single card…that will either, not show up until the last deal or not show up at all during that particular game. …and while we cant predict when a single or double aces will be dealt to the right side columns, we simply know itll happen. Great game…but if you play it often, youll recognize repetition. Moved a Queen, uncovering another Queen. Moved that one, uncovering a 6. Moved thatuncovering another 6. This is how it goes. A fresh new-game deal? 3 same-cards & 2 other same-cards. Not unusual. We sometimes restart 3-4 times before receiving a deal we think looksfeelsboth random and not an auto-loss.
We love that you added the 3 suit game option. But when we finally beat the game, it failed to give us the achievement. It still shows locked. But we are still happy to have that new option.
This game is a lifesaver on an airplane. Most games take 10 to 12 minutes, so one can space out the time of a flight by a number of games. Chicago to New York: figure 8 games and youre there.
Very addicting. Keep going back to it. Restarts give opportunity to win the same game.Although luck is in the draw of the cards good strategy can assist in winning.

We Love the Game & play it after reading to go to sleep. Sometimes we believe it not random shuffles as it is weird how certain cards appear in highly unusual ways! So, we just shuffle ahead a couple times & continue.
So addicted to this game because we love the challenge of it! Its also a good way to spend the time if you are waiting for long periods of time, say in a doctors office.. We wouldnt use it in traffic though.
Have been playing this for many years now. Enjoyed it so much we upgraded to premium to get rid of ads, but works great without them. Try it! Youll like it.

Finally the UI was updated! Contacted support a few times and was told quite a while ago that it wont be updated, which would leave only Solitaire with the new UI. Glad they changed their minds! Now only Freecell needs the new UI and the stack will be complete.
If youve been playing the ad-supported version, READ THIS before buying the ad-free version. We played the free version for a couple of years before buying the game. We played almost every day and got pretty good – if a deal was winnable, we could regularly solve it in under three minutes. Since purchasing the game and still playing daily, now our times average about 3:30. THEY CHANGED THE ALGORITHM, making the game much more difficult. We have far more deals that arent solvable, and as mentioned, our average time to complete has gone up by almost 50%!! That stings a bit, particularly when our whole reason for playing is to measure our daily capacity to quickly solve problems, etc.
We updated our Spider app and now the card face numbers and images are too large. The large face makes it too busy-looking for us and more difficult to focus. We liked the smaller numbers and images but cant find a way to change it back to the size we were using before the update. Is there a way to change it.
Pretty much spider solitaire, no real hassles. We enjoy clearing the mess put in front of us.
After update cant tap bottom card if the stack is full. Pretty much unusable at this point.
This is whats sad when an old game suddenly has an update and Well you liked the way it was and now you cannot go back. The new layout uses quieter sounds which is bad for those who liked to crank it to max. The layout is lower in portrait mode, ruining a nice background image. And the wors is the stupid large logo that you cant ignore pushing you t o more games. Just done for flair. The end game animations are ok, but the game was fine before, it just shows you never own what you think you own. Best to just program the game yourself. Five star game is now 1 star.
Hooked! When we want to crash and watch a ballgame on TV with no other thought to clutter our mind, we love to see if we can win a game of two-suit spider. Just enough of a challenge without stress.

Love this version of the game. Our only complaint is that we cant view achievements. We get them, but when we select to view it wont open that screen. We had this game on our android system and that feature worked fine, but for some reason it wont work on the iPad. Almost perfect games receive almost perfect reviews. Response from the developer: It sounds like you just need to log into your Apple Game Center account! The game data not being stored on our device bothers us. We do not want to log into that account, so we are dropping our review another star.

So far, we have deleted two apps from our phone because we paid for the ad free version and they froze the game unless we agreed to tracking. We value our ability to choose over playing games.
