So far it is great. We really like big fish games, the problem is the constant pop ups to rate them. This game has a good story, and the graphics are nice. We havent had any problems yet.

Beautiful graphics, well done voice over and compelling story line. No problems with any bugs. Very cool touch in a couple of the earlier search scenes: items you collect in one are the same ones that are used to solve the next one.
It is a shame that it is so difficult to get the player’s name input in the beginning of this game. It is the first thing you see and very nearly caused us to give up entirely. We’re glad we stuck with it though because it’s actually a pretty good game. Good story, and HOPs that we actually enjoy.
We like the game !! No complaints ! Makes you want to finish it as soon as possible so one can find out the outcome !
Long too! We had no real big glitches, at first didn’t like having to find morphing items for hints but became kinda fun and only needed to use 2 towards the end.
We’ve played many different hidden object games. This one had a good story line, many hidden object puzzles that had you finding one object to then make something that found another object. Many great scenes and tasks that had to be done. Loved it!
The length, storyline, artwork, and activities made this a enjoyable game worth the purchase.
The game was great loved the graphics and we would have enjoyed the mini games more if there was more clarity with the instructions on a couple of them. Th story line was okay, the hidden objects were fantastic.

The hidden objects are fun because you have to find a particular object in order to find the next one.
We have had this game stored in our game catalog but never played. Recently the games being offered have not been up to par, so we were looking thru our game files and found Cursed Castles. It is one of the better games out there. The puzzles are a delightful challenge and the story line is captivating. So happy we found this game and will play again. Key West Jessa.

We’re really enjoying this game. Nice pace, great map( our favorite ), and good story line. The HOG screens are very clear and well defined. The mini games are fun and different. Definitely worth the price of admission! Thanks for another great game.
The interactive hidden object games within the game are challenging and creatively designed. They’re just more fun.

Is Vendel a new developer? Haven’t seen their name before this game. Game was interesting with wonderful graphics and a good story line. Linear and carefully plotted-you are looking for missing descendants of an evil lord in a cursed castle. Really varied and interesting HOS, games, tasks & puzzles. Not a huge fan of finding objects to get more hints-think those should be a given for we lazy players. Don’t let the name glitch deter you at the first-when has it ever really mattered what is put in that box? Thought it was very well done-glad to see a new name in the developer category. Looking forward to see what Vendel comes up with next!
Minus one star due to small glitches such as difficulty entering your name in the beginning, slight difficulty with responsiveness during mini games. Overall though this is a great game and one worth playing.
One of the best we’ve played in this genre! Good puzzles, artwork, longer than a lot of others. Also kind of like that there’s no spoken dialogue…. Faster to read dialogue than listen to it:). Couple of minor glitches: problem entering name, map show actions in rooms where hint just tells you to move to another room. Very enjoyable game overall.
Yay a game that does not have stop points to ask for a rating! On the main screen there was a lag for name entry. Dont let that fool you as the game itself is excellent so far. A coherant storyline that makes sense. Fun HOPs to keep things interesting. Please note ‘lightly tap HOPs’ the result is the games commands better.. And thats fine by us, who needs sore fingers by the end of a game. Highly recommend!!
Played it a 2nd time years later and thoroughly enjoyed it again! If you havent played this oldie its a definite goodie! First of all thank you BF for the price drops! Not sure if anyone else has noticed the 2.99& 3.99 very low prices you’ve been offering but we surely have! This game is one of the best in a while. Someone mentioned it was short but we play every game you release and it’s much longer than most. Especially given the prices lately. Gamers, do not miss this one! It’s a fun and well put together game. Has everything we gamers look for. Thanks BF!
Greetings, Gamers: Vendel Games has created yet another gem of a game: interesting puzzles, super graphics, nice storyline, good HOS and a game that’s flat-out fun to play! And yes, we’ve noticed — and much appreciate — the recent price drops! Hope y’all buy this one; at least check it out. It did take us 3 times to get our user name in there, btw. We really enjoyed this one! It had a good storyline, graphics & voice overs. A nice variety of HOP & mini-games, puzzle pieces & morphing objects to find throughout the game. Marked map with easy travel available & strategy guide, although we didnt need it much at all. We had no technical issues on our iPad Pro & our only complaint although its not a big deal, there wasnt much check to the bonus chapter, but the main game was pretty long on its own. We give this one 4 1/2!
One of our pet peeves about playing these games, is a lackluster ending story- THIS game did not disappoint!! We were thrilled with the outcome. Games were challenging and fun… Storyline was excellent! Can’t wait for the next one.

Very nice game. Really liked all the different games. Easy to follow and not a lot of going back and forth graphics were colorful and voices were great.

We often find that the first fee part of a game is the most fun, and after that things slowly become boring. Not with this. Long and full of variation. Beautiful graphics wonderful HO including one in the form of a carpet that was unique. Try it this is special.
This is a very good game and ver reasonably priced. We’ve purchased many Big Fish games and this is right up there with their best!

We love this game! Its definitely different from the other hidden object/adventure games we’ve played before. The videos playing in between game play are great. We love a good tragic love story. Some puzzles are easy and some a little rough but all in all its a really good game. We have no complaints about any tech issues. Game has been running smoothly from the start. We hope we could find more games like this one. Definitely our favorite.

Like most of the other reviews before us, we also had a problem with creating a profile name, but if u just use anything it accepts or play as "player", we promise you won’t regret it. It is a superb game with beautiful graphics with a logical storyline that is challenging to follow. We LOVE games that have labeled inventory items, a touch-screen teleporting map, a variety of mini-games, and scenes so real, you feel like you’re there. These are the things we look for in other reviews before we buy a game. Please keep these kind of mystery games coming! Also, the length of this game was perfect, not too short yet not too long. You sure get your money’s worth! The bonus chapter was awesome too. We were checking out the screen shots and drawings at the end of the game and it makes you realize everything that had to be done for just this ONE game to be made! Just wanted to say thanks to the developers and creators -you deserve it.

One of the best bf games. Challenging, great graphics and well worth the price. The hidden object games were very different and difficult at times. We love games with the bonus included.
Ok we play a ton of puzzle and HO games and this one did not bore us. The HO parts offered different and highly interactive play instead of just hunt up the object and click it. Loved the different items within the game, such as the painting pieces and morphing items you could actually see right off. It definitely added layers within layers for hours of gaming fun!! Looking forward to the next one!!
We do agree with most of the review that it difficult to input your name.. What it did is just put initials after the word "player". Also had same issue about the small cottage next to the mansion, get kicked out and couldn’t get back in. We restarted the game and it was resolved. But so far the game play is pretty fun and interesting aside. We like the mini games as well as the HO. Well worth the current price $3.99.
Fun game of nice length. Some puzzles challenging, others easier which is nice. Don’t have to bounce around; map works nicely, especially like the picture reference. Love that HOS had variety and a multifunctional approach; far less boring than stabbing at a scene. They made you think. Liked the pick up then punch to place; far better than dragging. Problem with player name and a few pick ups in HOS. Didn’t like that name of objects were under our finger when we tried to read them. Please put them higher. Thanks for a really good game!
We also had the same problem with putting our name in at the beginning. We typed the first letter, but when we went to put the second letter in, it just typed the same letter in again- then it froze and kicked us out. Someone said they had to play anonymously and we ended up doing the same. We’re only in the trial, but we probably won’t purchase because we also found that the response time after we tapped an object was off making us tap a few more times which was rather annoying. Great graphics and story line, though.
