Community Insight:

A little long but a great time killer. Lovely graphics. Nicely done.

We really enjoy this series, (Im at the point that we automatically buy as soon as they come out) & we sure wasnt disappoint with this one – its a customizable, fun game! We love the characters & the magical kingdoms, w/just enough of the Medieval backgrounds to keep us happy, too! We only rated it a 4 game because it can be difficult to combine/find things by clicking on it once, & it can get irritating having to keep trying different angles…but that is literally our only complaint. Although, we do have to admit that Zan K does make a good point – its not* quite a good as past games, when ERS was still doing it. Maybe thats why our irritation has gone from ugh to dammit! Regarding being able to get things on the first try? IDK … But Im still really enjoying the game. Im really close to being done with the main game, & Im looking forward to the bonus chapter! Our advice to AMAZ this is a popular series, (one of our favs, actually) but if it gets worse, youre going to lose fans. Dont let it get to that point, please.

Fix the interface. Everytime you try to grab a tool you go out of the game.

Will not let us clear the cobweb that is hiding the cup. Was a good game up to there.

We just finished the main game. You spoiler-ish defeat the main enemy and thats it. No end scene. We wasnt even sure Id won, but then there was a little thing that said we completed the game and unlocked the bonus game. What about the happy ending, or any ending? We gave this 3* because it was a fun little afternoon adventure for a day of being home with a cold. Nice music, nice graphics, interesting story line. Just, finish writing the game Big Fish.

Im not able to advance past getting the item held by the statue of hands with the jeweled base. We are unable to grab the code paper in our inventory to use it. Just us? Otherwise, very fun game. Again, we would like to see more supernatural/paranormal themed games. We do, however, enjoy what we can play of this game, and we trust youll be on top of it in no time.

Mystery of Illusion The games dont work well. It takes many tries to obtain the solution that should have responded immediately. Especially for games requiring quick response. Very disappointing we wont buy this.

Old, dated, nothing original- this series was good when it was first released years ago but honestly it hasnt aged well. Sometimes sequels are awesome but…not this time. Play if extremely bored otherwise skip.

This was a great game until we couldnt play any more! There was a glitch to the library key that wouldnt work. We have tried several times for the key to go thru the lock but it malfunctioned every time. We paid $6.99 for this game that we couldnt complete. Went to Apple Pay for a refund, but nothing yet! Big Fish, youre ripping people off! Highly disappointed.

First off, we dont understand why Big Fish deprives us of anew release? Just because of a holiday. We should have had anew release Sunday, instead we are offered games on sale. We might add that most of us regular gamers have already purchased and played these sale games. Hope you make some changes Big Fish for your loyal customers. Now to the review – This series used to be good, however now its become old and tiresome with the mirror. The developer needs to shake things up and keep up with the times. We personally, was Very disappointed and quite frankly bored to tears . The mechanics were not even smooth, and found ourselves having to tap numerous times to advance. There lacked challenge and adventure. Only thing we can say is give the free trial a try and make your own judgement call. We expected a lot more! P.S. Big Fish, we hope your reading our reviews and acknowledging the request to keep up with at the Very Least2 New Releases a week. Our rating is a generous 2 Stars. Kdboots * Note to fellow gamers – we contacted fivebn games again regarding: legacy: The Prisoner which should have been released for IPad a long time ago. We heard back and do to Apples requirements, they are having to redo the game, that could take as long as 3 months. They expressed that they would appreciate our patience and hopefully they can come up with another release in the meantime. Apparently Apple has made some new requirements that this sequel The Prisoner does not meet. So gang, guess were just going to have to hang tight, unfortunately. Thought you all would like to know whats going on. In the meantime, lets hope Big Fish starts releasing more games! Artifex Mundi has not only raised their prices to a ridiculous amount, but in our opinion, their games have been on the downward spiral.

We know that AMAX has bought ERS games or ERS became AMAX but we miss the bunny! Since Spirits of Mystery, Haunted Legends, Dark Tales, etc. Have been made by AMAX we have noticed a lack of quality to these games. They are darker and poor overall. Maybe AMAX should look into the history of these games before coming up with plot lines and details associated with these games. We know we are ranting but we love these games and hate to see the quality so poor.

Note to Dracyy: you were actually very generous with your rating. We should have heeded your warning but we were bored so we bought this game. ERS now calls themselves AMAX Interactive, but nothing else has changed. They obviously do not bother to read our reviews, because if they did, it is possible that they could correct so many flaws and issues! This game was so glitchy that at one point, not only did it kick us out of the game, it shut down our tablet! Are you kidding us? In addition, due to the screen interface, we kept accidentally back tapping to prior locations. During the HO scenes, and when trying to apply inventory tools, we had to repeatedly try to achieve the desired result. We were second guessing ourselves when we were utilizing exactly the correct tool in the correct spot. We couldnt follow the nuances of the storyline because there was no cohesive journal. The map did not function all that well; it indicated available actions when there were none and provided delayed transportation between locations. In the bonus adventure, there was no map at all! The bells and whistles were no different than any other developer: customization of settings, complex items, collectibles, teleport map, option of casual vs. Hard mode in certain puzzles, variety in the HO scenes. The selection of puzzles/games was not to our liking as most were of the boring rotational genre. We found nothing fresh and original about this game. It was very dated! The gimmick was a magic mirror, and using it was tedious after the first time. The game was a decent length inclusive of the bonus adventure but whats the sense if you just want to be done already? There were only two aspects of this game that we enjoyed. The first was that the graphics and cut-scenes were visually appealing. The second was that the tasks to accomplish were interesting. Our review will stand at 2 stars and we feel that we are being very generous. What we cannot comprehend is that the game was rated 4.4 stars out of 5. All the reviews that we have read were quite unfavorable so where did the App Store get that rating? This was a very disappointing week for games in this genre. Lynxie sends warm wishes to all of you who plodded through this dull and tedious snooze fest of a game.

Review Based On The Free Trial Only: After several disappointing sequels in this series, we think it is time to retire this series for good. Will we miss the handsome Isa? Yes. However, across the board, the plots continue to recycle the monotonous theme of "good versus bad," and it is now clear that this developer cannot conjure up an interesting concept to breathe some new life into this series. The switching back and forth within the series between the "nice Isa and the evil Isa" is frustrating and disrupts the fluidity of logical story progression. The characters are mundane, and the amount of exchanged dialogue during the free trial is imposing. We will give a developer a compliment when due, and we must say that we are impressed by the beautiful graphics details are crisp and clear. One unusual characteristic is that the inventory bar is too high, obscuring the lower parts of the scenes. In our opinion, the gameplay is just as boring as the storyline. The adventure portion of gameplay is linear, and it failed to stimulate our imagination. From what we gathered from the free trial, we did not detect any contemporary experimental techniques within the HOSs; in fact, the HOSs follow old-school formats and lack the creativity we see in other series. The puzzles yawn. We don't even remember them. We came across, we think, two sets of collectibles; pay attention to the close-ups. Sorry, but we could not wait until the trial was over. This game is ridiculously outdated and should never have been released. There's nothing else worth commenting on. We're definitely passing this one up.

Too many idiotic things to do, like tracing a chain, using a magic mirror, etc. We find those things boring. They are tedious tasks that only add time to the game and nothing else. We'll pass. Where are the old designers who actually created GOOD games? Did they all retire? Or did Big Fish decide they were too expensive? We dont know, but we wish they were still producing the games we loved to play.

First 5 minutes of the game there is a glitch. Im sure you know what Im talking about. Waste of time, the game is unplayable.

At the very end the last hidden object closed without giving us the snail. In order to complete we have to reset the entire game and hope it doesnt happen again. If you are going to make a buggy game then allow resets by game chapter.

Bought this and after playing for a few days opened it and goes back to our home screen???? Can we get our money back please. What a wait of time.

Like others, we are experiencing a bug that prevents us from selecting the jewel code. This glitch makes the game unplayable within the first ten minutes. Developer should offer refunds or correct issues ASAP.

After purchasing the game keeps closing after touching PLAY… Ridicules… Im not erasing the game and re- downloading again and playing again… So frustrating.. We want our money back.

Very boring game. Even at 40% off its not worth buying. We expect more from the Big Fish label than games like this.

Revisited plot. We cant begin to express how boring it is to continually move a mirror over a scene to find cursed objects. This developer needs to update more than their name.
