Used to be really fun until everyone started "spotting" Bugattis and race cars and now you can’t progress in any race without cheating.
Beautiful looking game and being able to spot real life cars and use them in game is super cool. Our only complaint is some of the suggested cars to spot are impossible to get. Since we live in The United States we will never see an Opel, a Peugeot, or a Citroen. Please devs make the cars region specific.
Great game, good time killer, we also like that it can get cars right, and recognizes them correctly. Tons of potential, just hopefully people will come around and light this game up because it is very enjoyable. Good luck to yall, keep up the work. 9/28/23 came back to write that game is still supr good, we still play it in free time.
Spot racer takes advantage of your phones camera and allows you to get in game counterparts to cars you see in real life! Its a really unique and fun gameplay feature and we would definitely recommend this game.
You should add more cars we scanned a Nissan nv and it just said Nissan it did not recognize a gulf Porsche either we think it would be neat if we could sort the cars in our garage by rarity, cumulative stats, and cumulative base stats More precise color finder A list of all car models we have collected and the real life pictures to accompany them And maybe a new game mode with full third person driving controls.
To the amazing seven-person team behind this game: Its very clear that that SpotRacers is a love letter to cars and the people who love them. And we are so grateful. Every aspect of it has care put into it. It’s original, beautifully rendered, incredibly elegant while somehow letting the player play however they want… It’s an achievement. It’s addicting without disrespecting the player which is VERY rare. It’s also somehow very ZEN!? How did you do that? Hats off. Thanks for all the great and continual addons too!

Everything about the game works well except for one car, the Toyota 4Runner TRD is recognized as a regular 4Runner.
Some tracks have racing lines that dont make sense and steering points that are way too late. Vulture Valley is the worst design we’ve ever seen, whoever thought it was a good concept needs to be fired. The race time countdown needs to be fixed, once in a race and the countdown clock finishes racers should be able to finish their race. An overtime clock should be implemented to show other racers that someone is attempting to finish their run and once the clock finishes restarts wound be disabled.
Game is fun and the camera ability is cool. This is an upgrade from other games like mini-motor racing. Pros: tracks are ok and the length is just right for short gaming sprints. Lots of ways to progress and upgrade cars. Free tiny iap. Cons: no offline play mode. Usually have time for games when on planes. Why does the app/developer need so much information? Worst piece is that the advertising tied to this game are scams and the last one was a phishing site. Had our Harmony Mobile protection flag and block the traffic. The ads used to be for mobile garbage games.
It’s not our phone, the game could be good but the controls often respond too slowly making it impossible to win or play correctly…
We’ve been playing spot racer for just over two days and we think this game as a concept is every car enthusiasts dream. As a game its also very fun, has interesting challenges, and the friend races are very customizable. We like the animation style, and believe that for a mobile game the cartoony design is perfect most realistic car games (in our opinion) come off looking like they should just be played on pc or console instead. In terms of the future development of this game, we have no doubt there are plans to make changes and improvements along the way but Ill write our suggestions here any way. 1. Generations/ trims of cars: Being able to differentiate between trims such as an Audi A5, S5, and RS5 as well as the different generations/ years of the car would really bring a lot to the game. Adding more in-game car models to show the cars weve spotted, when we spotted a Koenigsegg Agera one day we were disappointed to see that it fell under the Stinger car model rather than its own but we assume that will change over time. If the game could actually put the color of the car spotted onto the car in game that would be a cool touch. Any way, this is a great game and Im very excited to see wear it goes in the future!
We love the game but the progression through the online ranking after a recent update has been SOOO slow its just tedious at this point. We were at level 13 but then got put back to 11 and its been 2-3 months and Im just almost level 12. Again, we love everything about this game and everything else is fantastic!
We’ve been trying to get a few cars like a Toyota AE86,this is our favorite car and we try to get it in all games possible however when we took a picture of one the game kept changing it into something it wasnt and made it look like a sedan but Ill keep playing and see what else we can do other then that we find no problems and this has a lot of potential.
This game would be so much better as an Apple Arcade game where pay-to-win doesnt exist because all it takes is 10 bucks to ruin everyone elses experience, there is no competition here there are only Bugattis littering the tracks and making it impossible to progress for people who actually want to play the game.
This game is incredible dont get us wrong we love the concept of racing cars that you see in the real world. Our only problem is that there isnt a ranked mode that starts from scratch and you have to unlock cars. We would like that because you would be able to build up your own garage and race to earn money to buy cars. Another thing we would find cool is a complete revamp of CUSTOMIZATION. It would be absolutely incredible to have a vinyl system almost like forza horizons. You could also make car parts (car decor) available to buy with cash but also allow things like under glow window tint and suspension travel. One thing that would be incredible is most definitely incredible would be a drag racing mode where you can drive any car but go in a strait line and have to shift at the right time. We hope you guys work on at least one of these, it would make our day.
Awesome game devs, good job. Although we probably shouldnt say this but you can go on the internet and take a pic and get the car. The spotter thing also takes care from Roblox and other video games. But dont fix its like a Easter egg lol.
This is by far one of most fun and addictive racing games out there! There are so many cars and so many levels to play that it doesnt get old! Our only request is that you make a formula 1 style version of this game with teams and real life courses. Id pay basically whatever you asked to play that type of game.
This game is amazing the best part is that you can scan cars and actually get them in the game! We are really impressed with the scanner it hasnt been wrong, that we know of but sometimes it doesnt sense there is a car there so we have to rescan. We are so impressed with the scanners accuracy even when we have a crappy photo! We even took a scan of a semi and it knew exactly what kind it was and it was amazing! Suggestions: we think that the racing is pretty decent and we would keep it. How about adding another mode of racing like making it first person or 3 person like some of those other racing games that would make this game the bomb. After we scan a car we would love for it to save the actual photo so if we want to go back and look at it we could and that would be fun. The music is pretty good but there should bemore car noises and in the settings be able to change how loud the music is and the sound effects because the sound effects are a little to loud for us and we want to listen to the music not loud sound effects. It would be nice if the scanner you couldnt cheat but we think its more fun to actually get the cars instead. It might be nice though if you like dont want to take a pic to be rude you could just go online and get the car so there is a good side. Scrapping cars is really nice to do and helps you level up but we think that you should get more than what it gives you. Its nice that you combined all the trucks cars and other stuff like if we take a scan of a truck it will just put it under manowar and we like it still gives different stats like a toyota stats is better than a chevy even thought they both say mano war. For the higher end cars and vehicles we think you shouldnt combine them as much and it seems like you have so great job Devs! It would be cool if you added like clans because then you have other people playing right there with you and you can chat with them like clash royale. Overall this is a great game and we have always wanted a game like this and its really fun if you have that plays it to thats how we got into it.
We think some or if not all the cars need a remodel like them Mclaren senna is one we would like to see but with the current model you cant tell the difference between them Mclaren senna a a Lamborghini Veno.
A fun casual game and great concept, but there is no balance to the game. It seems that everyone has a lambo Bugatti or Ferrari. If you can just go online and get pics it ruins the whole point of the game. Imo They should have car classes and races for each class. Simply excluding one or two types or cars from a a race is not working.
This game has a lot of potential but there one major issue, we told our friend to get the game and we could compete and see who gets the best cars and we could race eachother. He came back the next day with a ton of Lamborghinis and race cars. You should not be able to scan cars from the internet!
This game is super fun and we love the concept of getting new cars by taking pictures of them in the real world! HOWEVER there is a massive problem where when we take a picture of a car with all of it in frame, it says that a car isnt detected. When we first got this game it worked perfectly and we had all our familys cars in the game. Please fix this as this defeats the purpose of the game in our opinion if the camera doesnt work.
Honesty we dont leave reviews but this game was super fun and we remember playing a lot on planes and at airports (It feels more fun at those places). The only problem we have is that recently we went to a car show and saw the hotdog car and thought it would be funny to use the car but it was not being picked up. If the developers are reading this, maybe add some goofy cars for the upcoming April Fools Day. But still a great game.
Our front camera is broken so an update where we can flip the cam to spot cars would be awesome.
You really have to add police chases cause that would make this game 100% better and it would actually make a timer and it would get to the destination before the time runs out so Im gonna add 4 stars.
We really love this game but we hate the fact it is pay to play. We would love a version you can pay for once and not have to worry about having to pay to start a race all the time. We would absolutely buy this game for 10$-15$. This would be greatly appreciated and we would definitely change the rating.
Overall this is a really cool game, we like how you can take pictures of cars in real life or in a book and the app knows what it is, we love how its simple and not too complicated like most racing games, however one thing we hope changes is hopefully more car models in the game. We know there are tons of cars in the world and making a model for each and everyone would be hard, but maybe make the models look more like the cars in real life? We would love to see a bunch of different car models instead of the same 5 for every car, but if this is too hard for yall, thats fine. Either way, great game and we look forward to see what yall do next.
This game is so cool, fun, and simple. We just love games like this, it gives us a "art of rally" feel. Although there are some glitches with trying to recover after spinning out or getting some stuck on a edge, this game is such a fun game. We really hope you guys frequently update more and also keep the game alive, like pixel car racer kinda did. Also one suggestion, let us make our own racing line on certain tracks, for example: you go into a little hub like on the menu for garage and stuff, and choose the track you want to fix the line on. You could make the line anyway you want so you can get that sweet feel of cornering perfection. You could also make it so you can shortcut in certain places, that would be horrible. Anyway we love to see games like this, thank you so much for it.
We think the concept of having to see a car to get it is a really cool concept, we’ve only been playing for a few days and Im already hooked! The driving mechanics are really cool, and while they seem hard, its something everyone can master. We really am looking forward to more updates in the game to see how it progresses. Again, amazing game idea!

We really like this game and play it with all our friends. We think the fact that you can off the internet is not very fair but when scanning little toy cars it can be a lot of fun to see how they turn out in the game. We our friends and we always have fun spotting cars in parking. The only other thing we would change would be to make it easier to play with friends.
It steers your car way to early and you always crash and we get last place because of it and also people somehow can drive so fast without crashing and if we try to steer we always crash we dont understand why.
When we wanted to scan our golden retriever it stated that there was no car.
Once you start playing, you find it fun after realizing you have no true control over direction. Youve got to learn little tricks at every curve of the same tracks to keep control of your car. Should you hold down all the way, release and brake, tap, or what? You must learn and determine what is best to win. Each track is the same track every time. No differences. The only changes are which of your cars you choose for that track (with your upgrades chosen) and your opponent. You must decide how to upgrade your car as well. As you play, you begin to learn what is more important to you or your car. Increase acceleration the most perhaps for initial speed but youll lose control around curves. Increasing overall speed helps when theres a long stretch and you need to get ahead of the clock or opponent. Traction tremendously helps with curves. You wont be gaining enough tools to build up your car so youll be watching a lot of ads to get them and playing the same tracks over and over again. This is what gets really old. Winning is not enough to keep many people playing because theres no major changes in the game. Nothing exciting especially watching how your win only gets you so far. What we do like is being able to compete with random people and each race times out but dont fret, just wait for it to reset and you can play that track again. An irritating thing youll find is that the game will allow you to play a track with say, 1 minute remaining and as youre winning, the track times out and you lose out on the win. It would be better if since youve already joined the race no matter the time remaining, you get to finish out. Also, taking a picture of a super car doesnt necessarily help you win. Youll start at the bottom and have to increase that cars ability by playing the same tracks over and over. We even tried a photo of a 1992 BMW M5 and a 2015 M5. The game saw them as the same exact car and just changed the colors. Somehow the 2015 was the worst of the two even with upgrades. Overall, decent game with a fun aspect of taking car photos to add to your garage (that dont match the digital cars), learning curve with drifts (you ultimately compete against yourself to learn better braking skills), ability to upgrade cars, and you can compete with the world but the downside of repetitive tracks and slow ability to upgrade bring it way down. You need to play the same tracks over and over and over again just to get a bit of an update ability on each car. It takes forever. Purchase additional accessories for your cars to speed up your cars enhancements or watch ads and it takes longer. Although, watching ads helps you if you dont want to purchase but youll probably eventually get bored waiting so long plying the same tracks.
This game is so awesome! The gameplay is great fun and we love having to spot real world cars to gain them in the game. The game never gets boring and its always so easy to pick up our phone and jump into a race. The fact that there isnt an advertisement popping up in every 30 seconds is the best part!
Spot racers is one of the best racing games we’ve ever played. The graphics are cartoony and the make the game pop! The music makes it feel laid back and relaxing. The game is simple, and doesnt need to be played all of the time. We think its really clever that you can take a picture off any car or truck and the game will convert it into a cartoony version of it. We recommend this game to anyone who doesnt play video games that much, but still find them fun.

We are having so much fun with this game. What a great concept- scan and collect cars in real life, then race them! We love it. Our family and we are forever on the lookout for rare and expensive cars. Its like Pokmon Go but with cars, and more interactive. It has so much potential too with new tracks, new vehicles and customizations. We hope you all use this technology to create multiple franchises. Great game.
When choosing a SpotRacer for a race, can you either make it so its not so sensitive when scrolling through our cars or add an extra Are you sure you want to race with this Car? Pop up? There have been too many races where Im swiping through our list of cars and it counts our swiping as us selecting a car and then starts the race. Please address this issue. Currently playing SpotRacers on iOS 15.4.1 on an iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Hello, we dont leave reviews that often but we just wanted to say we love your game and especially the spot mechanic. For us personally we think the problem is the its connected to Wi-Fi all the time so even if you come across a Ferrari in a parking lot with no Wi-Fi you cannot access it and the Ferrari is lost forever. We think you should add a feature to access something like the spotting mechanic which does not need the Wi-Fi so then If you didnt want to race you can still spot that Ferrari and go back home and win.
We’ve been loving the game so far and love the concept of it. Helps to keep us out of the house a bit. Our only issue is that we dont think that the conversion from Kph to Mph is accurate. It will state it correct in the stats of the car, but doesnt seem to when in a race. For example, 260 kph is 187 mph. The vehicle we have capable of that is only topping out at 117 mph on a universal track, and not 187. Doesnt effect the gameplay too much as the times for both end up being about the same.
We keep on playing but theres no progression? We cant tell if Im progressing. Im moving up but other cars are faster than ours. We cant keep up. Yes our cars been upgraded. Okay game. Menu is a little strange we have to press to many buttons to race.

This game is amazing! It is a pokmon go for car guys! Works for non car guys as well! The devs did an amazing job! We can’t wait to see what is in store! 10/10.
Let us just say one word This game is awsome But the cool down stinks. They are very short tracks so if you do a race you have to wait 5 mins after the race. We think you should add more longer tracks and instead of cool down, you have to get gas every 5 races and it takes 1 min. And you dont have to pay for the gas. But anyway this game is awsome.
