Community Insight:

So much fun in the Star Trek universe controlling multiple ships and characters.

Its actually a fun game, Ive never watched Star Trek but Ive been enjoying the gameplay. Like a RTS space game. Heads up if you download through EarnStar or Eureka or something before you download and play you can earn real cash along the milestones! Its actually easy to get a few bucks.

1) scopley you are missing a lot. We realize its mostly a revenue driven product. But your missing a few golden opportunities. 2) its true that it hard to get to higher levels. 30s and beyond without $ or being with a team, or both! There are several ways to alleviate this, your just not allowing it! 3) we have enjoyed playing, and gaining some respect along the way. Almost a 40! 4) we spend way too much time playing-HAH! We know you would like to have a dollar for everyone who says that! But there are several ways early in the game to rectify this without losing out on the training, or understanding! Again you just dont allow it! 5) All things considered 3.75 stars. Keep at it.

If we werent a fan of Star Trek, Id probably have stopped playing this game a while ago. Constant glitches and the fact that every update comes with 2 days worth of them is daunting. But as a Trekkie, we tolerate it. We expect disappointment on a weekly basis. Not only this but the game is driven upon gains only achievable through 100 dollar purchasesno skill or strategy involved. Purely a game based on capital.

Its one of the more interesting games for Star Trek out right now for mobile. We honestly love it.

This is a game that we enjoy playing but it is not one that you should try to play for too much time per day. It is a good game to check into every day for a few minutes. As long as you keep it slow and ignore the payed aspects it is a good game.

Overall, its a fun game. Its not very dynamic and the gameplay is very linear. For example, you really seem to get the same ships as everybody else at the same time based off the same missions, etc., etc. Missions arent very challenging and generally are an either or option if theres an option at all. In other words, even the mission outcomes are very linear. But Ive enjoyed it as a pass time. It has one of the slowest interfaces Ive ever run into in a game. Tap a button load screen tap another button load screen load screen load screen load screen. Everything is connected to the Internet everything that could be done locally is on the Internet everything that is in memory somehow still needs an Internet connection. Its astonishing how inefficient the game is.

The game is preparing for 10 minutes it stuck loading fix it.

The game is very complicated, relying on multiple interconnected resources to advance your base and your research trees. Certain nodes require certain resources. We got to a point where we needed to ours gas, but every 2 or 3 hours a player destroys our mining ship. We cannot progress the game. We suppose we could move our base to some other part of the map to try to get away from the pvp griefer but honestly why bother. This game is not entertaining enough to put up with that kind of nonsense. We will be uninstalling.

Enjoyable game until you run into a snag. Seems like the Support Team only helps high level, big spending players. Low level casual players get ignored. Ive put in several requests for assistance and have been completely ignored. One request 4 times without any response.

Its an enjoyable enough game. But if youre playing on a tablet, the game will crash every 5 minutes. For a game this buggy, Id recommend not buying the overpriced in-game purchases. We know we regret ours. We originally started playing in 2019, back before all the game play issues. We stopped playing for the best part of 2024, because it was crashing every 2 minutes (and rebooting takes longer than a minute each time). We returned in mid 2025 to find that it had improved marginally. So long as you dont try and do too many different things each time, you can play about 5 minutes between crashes/rebooting. Scoplays solution is play on our laptop instead, but since they continue to advertise it as a game for our tablet and phone, we continue to believe that it should work on those significantly more convenient devices. Id gladly rate it higher, if they would just fix the issues for touchscreen users.

While we do play this game it has more issues than when we first started playing. The community is pretty good. However, they are always breaking something or completely neglecting other parts of the game that are pretty crucial. Right now the PvP battleground, Arena is a holy hot mess. The matchmaking is broken as hell and since the game pushes you to level up quickly there are A LOT of people way out of their depth. And even if you arent a PvP person there are things you need to unlock to become stronger so you need to do the Arena event. Plus, engaging Arena seems to break the game. We run into failed login attempt more than once after finishing matches. And today it transported our base to an entirely different system after a session and wouldnt let us go back. The game eventually fixed itself, but there are constantly problems and what they give in return for lost playing time pales in comparison to what consistently keeps happening. Also, spending is heavily encouraged and they dont understand or willfully use the word, Sale. Because every sale is $99.99. So, get into it if you want, but it late stages and there are a lot of bored high level players who dont really care about your feelings. And dont get us started on Incursion events.

We tried to play this game for a bit but this game was horrible and was not fun at all we stayed on here for 10 minutes and for every single minute which is 60 seconds we were bored this is hot booty im sorry.

We play on our iPad and the game keeps shutting down. Its frustrating.

This is a fantastic game we have 3 accounts,Ive been playing it since the start and we play everyday we would highly recommend. You can make great friends and build your base from the ground up and with events and alliance help you will never get bored,But it is a long grind game but if you dont want to do that you can make in game purchases which will boost you greatly,so there is a bit of everything for everyone just play a bit each day and youll be surprised how amazing the game is. Huge shout out the developers and everyone at Scopely for all their hard work and keeping the game going (YOU ABSOLUTE LEGENDS ).

We have been playing g now for 7 years. It has the capability for free to play but we have paid for some features with no regret. This company has done a great job with treating their players with the best respect possible. All the issues we have had have been resolved, and we have even been compensated for issues and bugs. We know nothing about Star Trek, but the game play is fantastic.

The world is well done with many ship types, systems to explore and missions. Very tedious grinds to upgrade unless you are willing to spend money. PvP is not well thought out. Still this game is a must play for trek fans.

Stop overloading us with mindlessness, rinse and repeat content. Dying a slowdeath here brioooi.

Be a high level player to enjoy the perks.

Great game, but very expensive. There are things available to grow in the game, but you are forced to purchase ($99.99). Ridiculous.

SNW and TOS movie Enterprises are still not in game after 7 years. SNW Ent not in game, why do you picture it.

Im from server 99. Players are really nice, game is really fun. Unfortunately, some ships, like the Stella, become (nearly) impossible to unlock if you screw up accidentally, and said ships are usually quite important.

The ships and names of systems are from Star Trek, but the game goals and operations cut against every value of the Star Trek franchise. This is a space pirate game, where you rob or be robbed. For some reason this game attracts unstable people who harass and battle for no reason. Expect misogyny, racism, homophobic language in game. F2P in this game is barely possible.

This game is amazing dont get us wrong but we think some new game mechanics with mining would be awesome like you could send ships to protect miners like they protect your station they could protect them until there full with cargo or the mining spot is empty we feel like this would make mining easier in more competitive servers also being able to make plans that will work if you offline like sending a miner to ours and when done automatically return to the station. Im still new to the game though so maybe Ill unlock something like this in the future.

This is a good game, biggest complaint that we have are the prices dont match the rewards and they are unaffordable for most people who dont have $100 to spend on a game app, much less multiple packages of the same price. We can understand wanting to make money, but most of the packages costing that much is ridiculous at best. There are plenty of other games out there that make grinding easier, have much better graphics, are more interactive, and their prices are a fraction of what this game offers. Its a good way to kill time, but if you want to really advance in the game, you have to have money to do so.

Bring your wallet! If you want to get anywhere in this game it will be expensive, as in the higher lever players have actually spent 10s of thousands of dollars to get there. But Scopley lets them have the fun of bullying players 30 levels below them. On closing of you have huge money to spend youll love it, otherwise really dont bother.

Great Game with the greatest amount of glitches that interfere with game play. Best game to keep rebooting and clearing localization. Install and enjoy the glitches, rebooting & clearing localization.

We have two accounts – one ops 70 and the other ops 71. We have spent years in this game, and will play for years to come. They have setup an amazing base structure for the game – they just need to make improvements to the game stability and to also make more content grind-able. As a whale we think that it is more fun when the lower ops players are able to push through content with a grind to be able to be more than just a speed bump great game – amazing potential – please please please fix the stability issues.

Its a great time killer, and although its similar to a lot of different phone games but this game makes it make sense with being in space. 10 out of 10 in our opinion.

And Im playing this game now for a solid seven years.Although we have purchased a handful of hundred dollar packs over that time, in the last few years, we limited to the $20 monthly battlepass.we are ops 64 now, which is testament to our spending several hours a day on this game.Be warned. If you have a competitive nature,You will find yourself spending more time and money in this game than is healthy, Good for your family, good for your finances, or good for your career.Despite our consistent effort in this game, we find that more than ever, we lose in PVP to the spenders.

Its fun and all, only problem Ive encountered is a ship that wont dock which has still yet to be resolved. Otherwise, the game is alright.

We are a huge Trekkie, this game is a TON of fun, however, we worked our tail off to get the TOS Spock and avatar and not only did we not receive them, the game totally rebooted and we had to start from level one.. We would gladly change our rating to 5 stars if they make this right. TREKKIES forever.

Ive been playing this game for about 5 or 6 years (honestly lost count) and havent broken lvl 50. The formula is always the same you get to a certain point and it materials you needthen its partsthen its special currency then its materials againetcetcunless your have thousands of dollars to put on your credit card, understand that youre going to be playing this game for a very long time. Free playersplan on spending 48 hrs a day playing! Good packages in the store are going to cost you $100 and when you get to lvl 40 you may need 5 or 6 of them to get the next great thing to get you another couple levels.youll get board around lvl 40then 45 youll get excited again then realize you spent 6 years on this stupid game and going to spend 6 more.Enjoy.

This game at times can be fun we would say early going its difficult because theres so many paths you can take. You start farming for resources to level basic ships up and go on missions for rewards. You are protected from bigger fish hitting you for a little while but once you step into the mid levels all bets are off. You will be targeted and hit a ton. The pressure to gain power to be competitive is enormous and anything from basic resources on up basically start at 100 dollars. Theres smaller buys but for the most part anything helpful starts at 100 dollars which is near impossible to maintain. You will never gain enough power to be a big player in this game unless you spend thousands and thousands of dollars. For that reason we caution any trek fan to think before you get deep into this game because it forces you to you to level up and run out of resources to drive you to spend money. You have been warned.

It honestly reminds us a lot of playing Star Trek online in a lot of ways. Decent mobile adaptation and its fun.

Been playing for very long time. The sheer amount of hours spent on grinding is the only reason why we give 3 stars. Im 60 years old and dont want to waste hours every day grinding. Just getting depressing.

The game lags and glitches all the time. The only part of this game the works proficiently without bugs or glitches is the store. Be prepared for significant down time with this game.

Fun game with good graphics and fun but fair gameplay.

Im actually starting ta get into it.

A really fun game to play but the reality is that youre going to spend some money to keep up.

Ive been playing this game for well over six years, nearly every day. Its fun, but its a long grind if you dont feel like shelling out many hundreds of dollars for quick upgrades. The path to newer and better ships, stations and abilities is complicated and confusing at times, unless youre willing to put in a lot of extra hours to figure it all out. But at the end of the day its entertainment and a chance to interact with other ST fans, and it succeeds at that.

We have been playing for about 2 months now. This game is a breeding ground for bullying and toxic people and Scopely does nothing about it. In the chats, bullying and degradation run rampant. The game is full of trolls who will turn on you at a moments notice. We havent been personally attacked, but we see it taking place and we genuinely feel sorry for the people who are bullied. Other than the foul play that takes place, the game slows down and becomes a MASSIVE and brutal cash grab, where most packages to buy content are $100. Theres nothing to buy for $20 or less.

While we do like the game we have reached our limit. We are slowly transitioning back to Eve and wow far more skill based, a brain dead baboon can handle this zero skill required only captain kangaroo pockets and perseverance.

Its a fun game a large roster of officers but its a bit glitchy.

Its an interesting game with beautiful graphics and is very sophisticated. It can also be quite expensive if you feel the name to early adopt every new bit of game content.

Yeah, we were enjoying the game for a while, but theyre repetitiveness of it plus you dont get a lot of time to progress before something else comes out an ROEs are always gonna get you. Thats rules of engagement. People are always gonna complain about that.

From somebody that jumps to different games, it is a fun game great graphics and always feels like there is something to do Downside though is it overly bills grinding with no little payback its hard to get crewmates and doesnt feel like youre able to increase yourself in any aspect until you either pay or spend an excessive amount of time.

We love Both Fleet Command and the Timlines one with Q. Theyre fun.

Having a hard time figuring out why we cant play certain objectives, though its telling us to. Ive figured pretty much everything else out.

First off let us say this game is generally fun to play. Unfortunately thats where the fun stops. It is a true pay to play game and if youre not willing to spend money youre at a serious disadvantage. Furthermore the developers cannot get the game to continue to run correctly. Every update breaks something else in the game. You have to consistently reboot the game because it gets stuck in a loading screen which is really frustrating not to mention its very laggy although theyre trying to fix this aspect of the game now and have seen very little improvement. The game has so much potential but the developers just push content after content out in hopes people will continue to spend money on the game. Update as of 9/28/25 well seems the direction of this game still suffers. Performance is broken and game barely runs, broken events with no direction at all. Even after all the complaints they still push new content and new packs for paying players to buy. Heres an idea maybe fix the game first so its at the very least playable.
