Great app and does exactly what it says it will do! Allows you to mark the states you see and as a bonus shows them on the US map. You can show to just see the state abbreviation or the full name of the state. Showing the full name of the state also shows the date and time you marked it. It gives you a number count at the top and tells how many you have found each day. Our family loves it! The name of the app is State Hunt – which means that – states. People who are complaining and giving a low rating because DC isnt included (NOT a state) or the Canadian provinces have unfortunately lowered the rating based on something the app doesnt proclaim to have.
We've been using this app since 2010 and love it.
We use State Hunt to help break monotony of long drives. Easy to use. However, the clear game function to start over is not working for us so we have to delete app and then download again.
Its the best license plate game we played we just wish it showed a picture of the plate next to the state name.
We do a big road trip every year and we like to hunt for license plates. This app was great! We drive over 4 days and we could just tap what we saw. We do with it had Canada plates though.
It works. It's free. It helps pass the time when traveling with kids. Definitely would recommend this modern take on an old travel game.
This is really good it is really good for trips, but we dont like it because you can not save the trips so you dont know what you got so you cant go back and look at what you had.
It is a good game to keep occupied in a ride but we would recommend adding D.C., territories, and Canadian plates because sometimes you see them too.
Please revert back to old version. Don't need map of states. We know where they are. To much on the page, it was much better when you could hide state plates you had found.
It even tells you when you saw the plate :) thank you for making this.
Do you have a related version for the Canadian provinces? Do you have a version where you can put a player name for the person who spots each state for scoring.
First, this really isn't a game so if that's what you're looking for, don't download it. But if you're like our family and like to keep a list of the different license plates that you see on a road trip, then this is the perfect little app! Very easy to use! The only ones missing are the Canadian provinces. Great app for what it's intended to do.

This is the perfect app for family fun. We track license plates on our annual family vacation and this app was a great addition this year. Thanks.
This app is simple, has no frills (and a small file size, which also made it nice to download while on the road). It does what you need it to do to play the game while traveling. We are very happy with the app. No crashes, it saves your progress, let's you show or hide the states you've found. Great! It does not have any social media content associated with it (that's why 4 stars rather than 5). It does have a bonus, you can reset whenever you want. So the app can be ready for the next car trip.
This is great. It is simple and easy to use. Next update we wish they would add Canadian provinces since you see those too. DIstrict of Columbia was an added bonus. Nice Job.
Fun, simple and free!!! Click on the state and it hides from your list. Easy to fix if you over click! Fun in the car.

We did it once, then the next day when we went to do it, it shut down.
We were looking for a app that would show all the states licenses plates and this one just shows u the name like "south Dakota" and u click on it and it records that u found/saw it. Totally worthless.
Simple app for keeping track of plates you see on vacation.
This app is not worth the effort; boring at best.
