The development is shared with the community in the discord server and the game feels great. The graphics are beautiful and it’s one of our favorite games to play.

A free mobile game without ads?! -Well polished gameplay and visuals -Some original mechanics to set it apart from other defense/base building games -Solid music -Choice of difficulty -Gameplay can get grindy, but not to the point of boredom for the majority of the game Notes for new players: some missions require you to have towers at a certain rank. Rank up towers by getting them kills. You will notice certain positions will simply get more kills than others, so !!! Make sure to swap in your lower ranked towers into these positions!!! Overall very worth getting.

Glad that this series is still continuing. Truly one-of-a kind and a pleasure to play. This one is updated and more refined than the flash version. However one thing the flash version has that this one doesnt is the Boss timer thingy. Not a big deal but that little information was nice to have when making micro adjustments. Any reason why its not in the game? Also sometimes we get this minor glitch where we cant access our units in our unit bank unless Im zoomed all the way in or we just have to wait until the next mission Still an awesome game, download it if you want a good sci fi ship to ship action.

This game was great on the Pc and is a great app as well.

Remember that flash game from kongregate and armor games where you build a defensive base and it has a storyline. Its even better now. Download it and relive your teens.

This used to be our absolute favorite tower defense game on armor games when we were little. After we got a little older we checked back on it and was sad to see from a bunch of comments that the game on amor games wasnt getting any more updates. But now it is on mobile, and its ad free! This game is amazing, and it is still being updated often. 10/10 we recommend playing this game.

Exactly like the original and it works great in the mobile format.

Used to play this all the time on Armor games and when flash died we were so sad that we couldnt play this anymore. To see it back on the App Store is so cool! Plays just like the old game although Im not sure how to rotate the infinity walls like we used to be able to. Either way, still stoked to play this on our lunch breaks.

This is an excellent free title for anyone whos played the original Stellar War. Much of the core gameplay is still here, but theres a lot more depth in the new upgrades and some of the units have been rebalanced.

It’s better than the computer version we played for so long.

This game is still one of our favorite games from quite a while ago! But besides that, Im having trouble logging in on a new device. Our old phone worked fine, and we could login each time but now we get the verification emails but they say something went wrong and it wasnt verified. So If you know of a solution, please do respond. Thanks Edit: we figured out that we needed to go back to the first verification email(the one that was blocked and sent to the junk folder by spam filters) and that fixed it.

Just as good as the original. Game is ad-free despite it being free to download. Although there is some DLC, you can get by without it. We also like how you can switch back to the old music. It’s too bad more flash games aren’t converted over to iOS. There are two things we want to note. One, theres a minor bug where your fighter bays don’t spawn fighters if you play on double speed. We’re told this will be fixed soon in an update. Two, we recommend turning the quality down or you’ll be prone to crashing. We love that theres a quality adjustment though. Very few iOS games will allow you to lower the quality to make it playable on older iPads.

A fun base management game with nice music and cool visuals! Plus a fun little story! Definitely would recommend.

10/10 almost more fun then the old armor games one.

We loved this game endlessly, playing it forever on Kongregate and being absolutely terrible at it. Its been something like 7 long years, and now as a young adult, we decided to go back to the website to play all the old classics that made such a powerful impact on our life. We then found the kickstarter and even though it didnt look promising, we searched it up on the app store anyways. We cant wait to relive all these good memories again and we cant believe this game is free with no ads. Ill definitely buy any additional content yall create, and try to catch any other projects yall put out!!

A real blast from the past a pleasure to play again !!! Should add more than 60 units to play on the field :/

The time we were able to play this game was great. However, it crashes after the first level. If this were fixed, five stars.

A great game, it combines strategy and defense with the classic space shooter. Great aesthetics also. It does tend to run well for us, though bosses make us crash if we’re using high speed mode.

We love this game! Although we have 2 gripes… 1 being that occasionally when you are trying to place units it just doesnt work and you will have to try multiple times to get it to work. Another being that no landscape play but other than those two things game s great.

Used to play this as a kid, never could afford the bonus content. Now Im glad to pay $6 to support these wonderful developers. The game is a little clunky, its not perfect, but oh is it addicting. And if you dont have the best phone it slightly Lags. Thankfully theres a low res mode. We really hope the developers can keep updating this.

We were oooooofed by how fun this game is.

This game can be addicting. But its pretty dope.

Lots of fun to play, always pulling you back in without the need of cheap tactics (such as limit lives) and gives you a lot to work with for free. A game that makes us genuinely want to spend money just for the sake of support the developers.

This game captures all of the features we loved from the computer version. We always enjoyed turret defense type games, and this game put a truly unique twist on a classic concept.

This game was our life as a kid. Sorta. We got an hour on the computer per day, and every day we would play this game. We loved the music, the mechanics, everything about the game. It is the best browser game hands down to date that we’ve ever played. However, this game falls through in two aspects in our opinion, but itll only make a difference to you if you invested as much time as we did playing the browser version. 1: The XP grind is waaaaay too hard. In the browser one, the grind in our opinion was fair and reasonably balanced. But its just too time consuming and annoying to rank up enough units to progress to the next level in this version. -1 star (again, only our opinion) 2. We have no idea how the gold in the last game has been tweaked, but the balances are different now. Im not sure whats a good purchase and whats not anymore, everything costs so much less. Again, its a veterans issue, but we are very confused by it. Other than that, this game is SOOO amazing on mobile. 8/10 would recommend for new players, just please adjust the xp gain to be a little easier!

This was one of our favorite free flash games back in the day! The app still has that magic of true custom turret defense game. Build an impregnable space station and watch hordes of enemy ships explode into collectible gold at your feet. The amount of different turrets seem endless! We really enjoy the strategy of using reflective shields to bounce lazors back at the enemy. Then build your damage dealing guns with a line of healers and gold generators at the core. The possibilities are endless and the effects are blazing. Thanks for such an awesome game!

Great game! Based on the browser version from the golden age of flash games, Stellar War is a game where your objective is to construct a base capable of resisting waves upon waves of enemies. While it may be a bit difficult to start off, we dont think its enough to warrant any less stars. The developer is also active and constantly working on changes and balance.

Since now we know its not a fake one we just want to say we love the game. It was one of the first games we ever played on our computer and this reboot has revived our favorite game after so long.

This game we have been playing on the computer for a long time! We love it and we hope you keep making great improvements!

Years ago, like, 10 or 11 or so, we found the enigmata series. We were only like 4 or 5 at the time so we never actually knew the story, but loved the space-age bullet hell type game. Years came and went, and we forgot about it. Then, on Maxgames. Com, we found stellar war. We loved it. Didnt even know it was part of series we loved so much in the past, but we must have spent hours on that game. Never actually beat it, as every time we reloaded it on the website it wouldnt save our data, but we didnt care. Then we found it on Kongregate and played it religiously. When we first got our iPod Touch the first app we looked up was stellar war, and was disappointed that it wasnt there. We looked up and found the old Kickstarter back in 2014 and was sad that it never met its goal, but we wouldnt have been able to donate anyway as our parents dont like when we spend money on games. So we gave up hope. Then, just yesterday, we decide to look it up just for nostalgia on google. We saw a download page and some YouTube vids for stellar war mobile. Sure enough we look it up on the AppStore and there it is. We swear we almost cried. We’ve been nonstop playing it. We highly recommend this game. Its almost exactly like the original, down to the dialogue between characters. It seems a little harder than the original, but who doesnt love a good challenge. And if you have played the game in the past and are in the exact same position as us, you will not be disappointed.

The game runs great with its new UI and same base mechanics. Super fun to setup and upgrade a base while its perpetually attacked by the horde of ships. Really an awesome job!
