The deluxe version of Strategy & Tactics: World War II includes the 5 historical campaigns of the original version and 2 special new campaigns: USSR & USA confrontations in an alternative history.
The game contains all the campaigns and scenarios added to the original game with updates, as well as new scenarios including an operation in Antarctica against the remaining troops of the Third Reich.
About the original game:
In Strategy & Tactics: World War II, you battle impressive AI enemies across several campaigns with a classic turn-based battle system and serried ranks of historically-accurate troops. This game is very fun, we’ve been playing this game for a long time and we love games like this, BUT the only thing we would LOVE to be added to the game is the option to Join and Leave alliances, Im like 2-3 years late to leaving reviews on this game but we’ve had those ideas on our mind for a while now, it would mean a lot to us and other players that want the option to join and leave alliances.
Just upgraded to a new phone and now we cant play this awesome game anymore please update or fix this !
We bought the free version which contains naval ships and stuff so we decided to buy the bundle. At first we were excited but then was slightly disappointed there wasnt any naval feature at all. 4/5 fun game but kind of a scam-
Ok so we love this game in fact we like all the Strategy&Tactics games you made. However about a month ago we got the iPhone 12. Since it is a pretty new version we cannot play any of your games. Please fix this as fast as possible Im pretty sure Im not the only one who experienced this problem.
This is something we asked a long time ago as a kid and too us this game stapled on how we know you guys as developers, and since then you guys branched off from your roots and never really embraced the old yet very good games like this and we once asked if it was possible to play any of the Cold War missions as player vs computer mode where we dont have to worry about time limits or stuff like that, maps such as North America of Great Britain or even Japan invasion, these scenarios are not available in sandbox either so there unique to this game and we’ve seen this game just updated to keep it alive but no new content, we mean there isnt a game thats like this at all sure theres plenty of strategy games but this one is original with troops and how the maps are designed while the others game are just another title to even a bigger concept already made by different developers, wish you guys would come back to these games and give it some love and even DLC maps or scenarios that we can buy and play on our rules or settings would make this game a tons better, we bought all the countries in sandbox and was so much fun but after awhile the same map and play out starts to become old, needs a new agenda and we hope just like sandbox did for us a little more new things added in the game like making some maps playable and not just mission based…. We already gonna know the response but its been 5 years and well someone atleast still waiting.
Its difficult to click on the icons on the edge of screen.
Bought this game in a bundle. When you try to play it, it says the resolution isnt supported. Seriously?!? We’ve never had that happen for any app on our iPhone, including any free ones. We guess when you pay for an app, they already have your money so they dont care about letting you actually play the game that you paid for. What garbage. Im never gotten a chance to play this game. The problem has clearly existed over a year, but the product is still for sale, so the devs clearly dont care.
The next turn button is at the very edge of the screen and cannot be reached.
First of all the developers of this game killed it with the design and mechanics. Two things Id like to see added: 1. You should be able to control multiple countries. The AI is fun and engaging, but at the end of the day they can not coordinate like an experienced player. Id like to be able to control the entire axis/allied powers as we could develop our own total war strategy. Select an objective Id like to complete for each country and have some fun! 2. This is more of a playground request but Id think itd be cool to manipulate the alliances. How would the war turn out if the USSR allied with Germany but all of the Nordic countries allied with the allies. Just something we think would be interesting what if scenarios. Overall a great game and doesnt chew up your battery too bad (it is a big game to all those complaining). Thanks for relieving many boring hours!!
We can play this game for hours. Its like a HOI4 on IPad.
A suggestion, what if you could send your soldiers into allied territory without taking it. Kind of like defending your allies territory for them.
One of the things we found very stupid about this game is that when you attack the enemy they dont go back they go through your lines that stupid another thing is the historical in aqurices why dose the soviets not have manny divisions and why only do your enemys get reinforcements?
Its a good fun game but some of the campaigns are too hard. There should be a difficulty option.
It is a fun game, we love the mechanics but we do agree that it need diplomacy. Another problem is we have no idea how to get to wifi multiplayer. We can only do hot seat and off line. Other wise it would get 4 stars. We also want a mode where you can choose everyones starting border.
This game is great, however our progress for the eastern front campaign got deleted after finishing the caucasus battle while loading the next one. This happened twice after we got back to where we were. A black screen flashed for a second, then brought us back to the main menu with our progress reset. We have the latest iOS and game version. How do we stop this from happening? Edit: we just found it was the final mission for the campaign, sorry.
In our opinion this was the best purchase we have made… Edit: we’ve had the game for a while and had one problem, the battery goes down very very quickly when you play this… In fact this app uses more battery then any other app we own. We think that a game like this should not use this much battery. Can’t play as much, unless we’re at home on the charger which is a huge problem for us, otherwise it’s great.
A very well designed wargame for mobile.
Great game and we love it to pieces but the WWIII scenarios always crash making half the content unplayable. Fix that and we’ll happily give it 5 stars.
This is would be a mediocre game, but constant crashes on paid content ruin what would be a limited strategy game.
Feels like WWII risk, addictive, overall, a great game. Worth the money.
Strategy and tactics is a fun challenging game with tons of replay value.
It took us a bit to handle the controls. We love the WWII risk style gameplay. Very fun. If anyone is looking for a risk style game that is more in depth then this is your game. The app is a bit more expensive than we would like but if they keep updating the game then it is worth it.
Worth the money fun strategy game.
This is a phenomenal game! Very entertaining, and we love that you don’t need wifi to play. We played the free version for about a week and then had to buy the full version.
We think it plays more like Axis & Allies than it does like RISK. We like this style of play because it makes you think in advance of what kinds of reinforcements you will need to buy based on what you think your losses might be, and how you intend to implement you strategy, or style of play. We like it!!!
Very enjoyable, only downside is can’t do enhancements with scenario’s or we haven’t found out, but we like it a lot.
El juego es hermoso , buenos escenarios , el cpu , etc . Pero le falta aadir la campaa del Pacfico para completar al 100 el juego . Les doy 4 estrellas por ello , si agregan la campaa japonsa y americana del Pacfico les doy 5 estrellas . Saludos desde Amrica Latina .
This game is really bad and not an actual strategy game. It was made just to get your money so please do not buy it! Bad game if you are an RTS gamer! We demand a refund!
People who pay this much for a strategy game are expecting a great experience. This game falls far short to any good gamer. 1) the foremost problem is that the AI is ridiculously stupid at some things. A few very obvious things are leaving big stacks of planes alone on the front lines to get munched. Offensive AI takes a defensive posture (Germans actually pulled back towards Ger in Barbosa!). Doesn’t move many troops when it should. These combined make the game way too easy and people lose interest quickly. 2) No grand campaign mode where you can play the whole war and build on your successes or failures. 3) we will revise if the game improves.
This is not worth the money. Buy European war 4: Napoleon. Much better game, we rue the day we bought this strategy & tactics crap. It is utterly horrible. We would give it negative stars if we could.

It’s a good game With a lot of potential but it’s too hard and unrealistic sometimes. Way too hard. You’re telling us that Serbia, can repel an invasion of the Germans? That’s just an example. Every mission or scenario is like this.
Similar to risk with variety in units and Map.
While it be nice to make the animations in between scenarios go a little faster, the game is a solid strategy. Very similar to the now unavailable game World in War.
OK, this is fun. Le’s get that out of the way. Bit this needs GC achievements, especially when asking for $10. Would give a 5 star review if achievements are added. Still, a very fun game. The board provinces are straight out of Hearts of Iron, and this is like a very streamlined version of that. Much of the arrow-directed fun without the withering time required in HOI to get there. The iPad needs more strategic war games games like this, developers!
The gameplay is good but every time we complete a battle and it tries to synchronize our score it freezes. Fix that and we give it 5 stars.
