Below Zero is the next chapter of Subnautica, the underwater survival open world set on an alien ocean planet.
Submerge yourself in an all-new, sub-zero expedition in an arctic region of Planet 4546B. After crash landing planetside, set out into frigid waters to investigate what happened to your sister…
Discover new biomes, creatures, challenges and story! Below Zero expands the Subnautica universe, diving deeper into the adventure and mysteries introduced in the original game.
FEATURES

CRAFT YOUR WAY – Survive the harsh climate by constructing extensive habitats, scavenging for resources, and crafting equipment. Blast across the snowy tundra on a Snowfox hoverbike. Cruise through enchanting and perilous biomes in your modular Seatruck.
EXPLORE THE PLANET – Swim beneath the blue-lit, arching expanses of Twisty Bridges, be mesmerized by the Crystal Caverns, venture into the icy caves of Glacial Basin or maneuver between erupting Thermal Vents to discover ancient alien artifacts.

Community Insight:
We love this game! The creatures are horrific which make the game amazing the animations are insane and porting this to mobile was a great idea.
Please make more of these for IPhone. Great game.
The game is grad season for us too but its still fun and Im not sure if its the same as the other game though but its definitely worth it.
Idk how they made this run on our phone, but its peak.
On our snow fox its hard to steer, because we have turn our camera half way across our screen to steer. Great game though.
We love this port, it basically has everything the original game has but honestly less bugs. We originally said console commands didnt work, but just putting our fingers slightly lower on the screen than in the Subnautica port made them work (and now we feel stupid lol). Fantastic job by Unknown Worlds – cannot believe this is running on a phone.
Areas are smaller and the land component was new, however the game was very satisfying. We would have liked to have known more of what occurred with the character from the 1st game but otherwise it was very enjoyable. That being said there were several audio bugs, msgs repeating or not popping up in areas where an action should have initiated a new msg or objective note. It was workable but we were forced to disable the audio rather than listen to 30 minutes of a repeating msg.. Apart from the audio bug the game has a nice added component of a companion or ongoing relation/conversation with an NPC..the sea truck was a nice addition, having a mobile supply/manufacturing set made life easier and added aspects to the gameplay that we felt were more enjoyable than the previous game, looking forward hopefully to subnautica 3 on the mobile.
The game itself is very fun to play and Ive caught ourselves staying on long after we thought we would stop after one last task. If this had been released without the original Subnautica, there would have been few complaints. Compared to Subnautica, the two stories in Below Zero can be a distraction. Ive caught ourselves wondering which story we should resolve first. While the original has one main goal that you can focus on at your own pace. Map size is another issue. Below Zero has a smaller map. So exploring ends too quickly for us. But the designers did come up with fun biomes to explore. We downloaded this game aware of the faults, and we still enjoyed it. Its not as engaging as the original, but it is still a fun game to play if you finished the original game, and still want to see more of the game world.
You can kidnap penguins and have pet whales, and there also ELDRITCH BEINGS THAT ARE 60 METERS LONG LIKE THE LAST GAME, suggest trying 1, 2 and below zero, also unknown worlds, when will subnautica 2 come to mobile, cause we like these games. Also there's a spot that mockups us out of the map somewhere near delta station dock in a ice worm trench.
Graphics were really good and adventurous.
Just finished. Beautiful ending. Love the story adventure and horror! Wish it was longer, an amazing experience.
There was a few issues that made it not a five star game for us because we tried getting gel sack seeds but when we tried getting the gel sacks when they got put into open water they phased through the ground also when we saved us game it took us back to when we were getting the snow fox which was 30 minutes before we saved these were pretty annoying since we had to scan all the items and get the gel sacks.
Hi so we went to a part of land where there was some buildings and we went to explore them and this is where the glitch happened. Once we got to the bottom of the hill area we stepped on the snow and we instantly fell through the map. We were stuck under the snow and couldnt get out. We were so annoyed.. Could you please fix this glitch for us. Thanks.
The only issue we have if when we beat the game we were like wow but it felt like what!? Why is it the end we want to see were architects come from! Anyway great game hope you guys meke a second one were it takes place were architects come from.
The price is a bit high we think. There are some fps drops on 13 pro max but thats expected haha. The ui is nice works great with backbone. Would like to see a frame gen lmao, dont know if its possible but that would definitely be a game changing experience:p Also Id like to see ps buttons too:).
Below Zero isnt as good as the original game, but it scratches that itch for a while before you realize how small the map is. Regardless, its a fantastic sci-fi survival game that keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. The UI is great, the controls solid, and the base building is just as fun as Subnautica, its just more of a DLC than a full-fledged sequel. Its a great franchise, and this is a solid entry. Well worth the price. Enjoy.
Please give Subnautica below zero backbone support.
Hello game devs of Subnautica below zero there was a problem about the trivalve that you need to fix before it happens again the problem is that when we had a trivalve which was normal at first but then later it just vanished so then we had to find the other egg please fix this if you dont our second trivalve is going to vanish too.
Like the title says but we will say it can be fun just you need a chunk of free storage for it.
Ive loved playing this game, its fun, the graphics are good, but one time in a base, we went to sleep with our fabricator in our hands, we woke up, (in free play mode) and we had no HUD, and we could only walk around, we had to restart from our last manual save, but we dont know what happened.
Please add native Backbone support.
Mind blown by the ui and button functionality, you can tell they put a lot of effort into a seamless mobile experience. Just a few things, first, surface water clipping with habitats when placing them at water level, just a visual bug. Fish disappearing mysteriously after chopping them with the hot knife, that one tripped us up a few times. Also the shadow leviathan goes all gas no brakes and up and destroys the prawn suit first attack, we dont remember it being that aggressive on console/pc.
Thanks so much for releasing Subnautica, and Subnautica: Below Zero, on mobile. Subnautica is such an immersive and emotional game. We hope there is a possibility for Subnautica 2 to exist on mobile as well.
Im so happy that below zero is finally on mobile! We were waiting for it to come out, patiently, and its finally out! Now we dont have to play on our nintendo! Have a great day.
Hello developers of Subnautica the sea truck has been acting up. We went to exit our sea truck doc after that we were just going to get some kyanite when we detached our modules and piloted the sea truck we were in some weird cut scene. We were basically just stuck. We couldnt save or get unstuck but then when we finally got to save, we reloaded the game and the sea truck was fine and this has happened more than once can you fix this please otherwise, your game is great bye.
Played on PlayStation and loved it. Got the mobile versions of both Subnautica and Below Zero for iPad. Now have endless hours of entertainment on the go. Hoping that Subnautica 2 will also come to mobile. Would pay full console price for that. Respect to the devs.
Its a good mobile and Id recommend playing it with a controller. Hopefully we get to see Subnautica 2 on iOS in the near future.
We love it, its a very good game, the story its a little bit strange, but a love it, obviously recommend.
We will admit it can get confusing trying to find things at first but it does start to make more sense as you get used to searching. Id highly recommend using beacons to mark hard to get to locations. The only thing Im still confused over is the fact that theres no multiplayer when it was implied before release that there would be. Otherwise it has been an absolute delight to play. The customization option for your gameplay is great since it makes more accessible to players who struggle with certain challenges like oxygen but still want hunger and thirst challenges for example.
Get it now! Amazing! Great graphics really please get it.
We love it! We really really like adventure! We have a question; when is Subnautica 2 launching on mobile? When?! WHEN!?! Im a mobile player. Psst, we found console commands:).
When it comes to Subnautica and Subnautica: below zero, even Subnautica 2 on Xbox – we feel this game sets a new standard for play in this specific genre. Thanks to Unknown worlds for a great experience. :).
Im gonna be honest. The Og Subnautica was really good. Havent had the chance to play this yet but we just know its gonna be fun to play.
Leviathans do not seem to let your vehicle go once grabbed, so if you get grabbed, your vehicle is destroyed every single time. In the game on other platforms, you will take heavy damage but usually arent destroyed if your vehicle has full health. This issue makes later areas of the game extremely difficult because if you get grabbed you have no chance to repair, and with your vehicle gone, you are very likely to just suffocate.
We love this game, we have it on switch 2 and decided to get it on mobile because it does not run well on switch 2 and it deleted all our progress. So far the game is running at a sorta smooth 30 fps because 60 fps kills our battery life. But our only downside is the graphics settings keeping us at medium mode because textures look unloaded and the environment looks blurry. We use our iPad that is 2 down from the newest generation.
As soon as you add in full stylus support, and it works, we will give this game five stars. Until then, our disability in our hands leaves us in too much pain to leave more than one star. Editing to add: we finished the game and in the very beginning, we thought it was amazing, astounding, as good as the original. Then we got to the part where we had to play above the water on solid land, and it was annoying and boring. Then we went deeper the way you do in the original game, and it lasted all of five minutes, and then all of a sudden the ending was there, and we were left thinking half the game was just never finished. You could have done so much more with this game, but the way it ended was like all your staff quit, except one, and they had to tie it all together with no story, no artists, and an ending that might have been created before, when there was a lot more game that was supposed to go between the middle of the game and the end of the game. What the heck? Did somebody else take it over and just decide to not finish it? We sure hope you put out some kind of DLC that makes the Subnautica part of it replayable, because that ending is something we would never play again. The whole second half of the game is something that just wasnt worth the time or effort, because there was no second half of the game You got to what seemed like it was supposed to be the middle, and then you just ended the game. Super disappointing. Even if you add stylus support at this point, you still wouldnt get five stars from us unless you fix the second half of the game with whatever content was supposed to be there before whatever happened in your company that ruined it. Two stars instead of the three you got when we were still in the early part of the game.
