This right here is our thang manee we especially luv it when im feeling a lil dumb we start playing this n we feel bac on our shhhi after a few rounds.
The colored circles make this just about the easiest sudoku app around. Definitely easier and more pleasant to use than just a plain black and white arrangement.
We like everything about this app except 2 things. 1) When you click on a blank slot, it highlights the possible number options. Theres no setting to turn this off. UGHGHG it gives away the answer. 2) way too many ads.
Our favorite Sudoku so far. We took off a star because $20 to remove ads is shameful imo.
The game is fine but an ad keeps making our phone go off and it sounds like an emergency alert but its an ad in them game. Its very annoying and $20 is too much to pay for no ads.
Thanks for the update, now it doesnt load at all. It was a slow loading app before the update, now Im just looking at the cute elephant and no sudoku.
What a great game , we are 82 yrs and love this game. Im a avid crossword solver and li do about 6 a day to keep brain active . This color game is terrific, after 4-6 games since the day we got the Sudoku App, it is our daily go do for fun. So addictive.
We purchased rights to this app with no advertisement a few years ago. Guess that had an end or someone rewrote everything so that we no longer have that.
Beautiful design, but the ads are so frequent that it renders the app not usable.
We like the functionality of the game. The ads that take FOREVER are so bad that we will just close the app and go to another one. The adds that more than the length of time we need to understand what its about are obnoxious. You have to wait til the ad is done, you cant finish it early.
Nice looking app, but the ads are seriously out of control. And you cant close them for what feels like a full minute. We were looking for something for our elderly (and very hard of hearing) mother-in-law to play while in the hospital but the ads were too frustrating for her. She kept asking how to close them and we kept saying, You cant yet! We wasnt going to charge her Apple account $20 for the premium edition so we deleted this one and found something much simpler, with less ads that only stay on the screen a few seconds.
We like the choice of levels.,and the color is easy on the eyes.
We like the use of colored circles to help see what is missing.
Not impressed with how long the ads take to complete. We do not mind watching a the ads, but when we have to wait 2 minutes (we timed them) for the same as for a game and no idea when they are complete. We will no longer be using this sudoku app.
The sudoku game is great and we do love how it works. The issue is with their ad platform. They have the old typical banner ad that is 100% acceptable but any time you finish a game or move away from the game, you get a full page ad with sound that you cant close for a good 30+ seconds. We are looking at other versions of sudoku due to this.
We love this game, we enjoy playing it and everything. We find ourselves just on our phone with this app fit hours! However, the only qualm we have is that we cant stand how we have to be connected to the internet to start the game up. Why? Why does a sudoku game need wifi to open? When we wanted to play this game on the plan, we found that we couldnt sbc it was stuck on the loading screen. (maplemedia and the elephant) until we closed out if it. We were so disappointed with this because other than that, the app/game is amazing.
We use to love this app! Ive had it and played it for a long time. We use to play this app multiple times a day. It was a good way for us to take a quick break and decompress. The most recent update brought ads. Before this hey had a kind of placeholder for the ads, but that could be quickly xed. Now the ads are long and hard to get rid of. They dont just come at the end of a game or the beginning of a new game, they come every time we open the app. If we have to interrupt our game to briefly move to another app, such as to answer a text, when we return to the game (and Im not talking about reopening the app, but just being away from it for even a few second) we get another long ad. Its become so frustrating that Ive decided to delete the app and instead play our second favorite app by a different make of sudoko or return to playing puzzle pages. If the ad were less often or were a mix of longer ads and short, single photo/page ads, we could probably tolerate it. Our son is a game designer, so we appreciate that everyone deserves to earn money for their work. But the way they changed the game and added the ads is so intrusive and time consuming that the app is no longer fun.
Im sorry but who in their right mind in America would buy this app for $20??? We downloaded this app maybe 7-8 years ago. The ads were not that bad. Now, we feel like we cant even play the game because Im watching an ad every 10 seconds. We just downloaded onto our new phone & all Ive done is watch ads in the few minutes Ive sat here hoping to do some sudoku. What we like about the game is that its customizable in the appearance & other things. Its easy to focus on each number youre working on throughout the puzzle. But the ads just make us feel ridiculous trying to play this. We suckered down & thought lets just buy it but at $20??! Id rather buy an actual sudoku book. We feel like the creator took a great game & made it purely about monetary gain. Which we agree is important to an extent but this is just a ridiculous stretch.
The ad for Temu will never close and it freezes the app.
We really liked this game for several years. We understand that ads are needed to support the free games. However, a recent change means that the ads get in the way of actually playing the game because of their placement on the screen. The last straw today was when we couldn't get rid of a Dr. Oz ad. Every time we clicked the X, a new doctor Oz page would come up. So we deleted the app. There are plenty of other Sudoku games that aren't so annoying.
Way too many ads. They're nearly constant, at least 30 seconds each before you can skip them, and it costs $19.99 to remove them. The colors are cute and the game itself is fine. The ads are just unbearable.
We have played this app for a long time. After it was accidentally deleted we downloaded it again. Now there are terrible ads and $19.99 to get rid of them. What a shame.
Soooo many ads. Restart a puzzle, ad. Open the app, ad. In the middle of the game, ad. These arent short ads either that you can skip, some are up to 45 seconds long then you have to wait again to exit out of it. If your lucky, it wont give you another before you start the game. Theres so many other apps out there that just let you play. Would definitely recommend others.
This is our favorite version of sudoku, or at least it was. Now every time we try to play it the game freezes while the banner ads try to change. It is totally frustrating. We guess Ill have to find a new favorite.

This is by far the best Sudoku app we have found. Have enjoyed for many hours.
We actually bought this app, paid 20 bucks for it. Then one day it locked up. We had to delete it and reload. And when we opened it back up from the App Store we guess we no longer own it as all the ads are back. Very disappointed.

The game is great, but we HATE all the ads.
We love this game but would like it even more if it had an automatic notes option. One other thing that it needs if for the number coloring to also apply to notes (for example when looking at the 2s – all of the 2s are highlighted in yellow -even the notes).
Ive played this version of Sudoku for a long time now. We get ads between games, but now after an update, even if we switch to check texts or have to temporarily turn off our screen, we come back to the game and ANOTHER ad appears mid-game. We considered paying to remove the ads, but we are personally not willing to pay $20 to remove the ads with the other sudoku options out there.
We like the app and all the colors, but we dont like the ads that come on playing at full volume at nighttime. Going back to our previous sudoku app.

The system for note taking is not great. For the price there should be better features, which a note system that allows to cross off guesses without fully removing the number would be a big improvement.
We get this app was free but before it even started, a one minute ad popped up, so the ads started right off the bat. And then when we had to change settings after we started another one minute add popped up. We made two moves before we got 2 long ads. So we deleted this game.
This used to be a great game, but now they have added so many awful ads that we cant stand to pjj oh at it anymore.
Now it wont load, it just gets hung up on white screen with Maple Media logo.
Was good until the last update broke it. Now we have uninstall and reinstall the app every time we want to do a Sudoku. Had to switch to another Sudoku app until this one gets fixed. Support said they will fix it in an update, but its been a week so theyre not in a hurry.
This is the only game we play on our phone, and after the latest update, it wont open. The screen freezes on the maple media landing page. Hopefully, the tech issue is fixed soon! We love this app and have been using it for years.
The app stops loading after playing a few times. Just sits there at the loading screen.
Owned for a year and now we have to uninstall and reinstall for it to work.
We have played this game for years. It was our favorite because of the levels and colors. We even had the full version without ads. Recently, though, the app wouldnt load. We tried everything we knew of to fix it, but it wouldnt get past the opening screen. We eventually uninstalled it, losing all our stats. This broke our heart! We reinstalled it, restored purchases, and it worked for a day. Now, it wont load again. We uninstalled it again. We guess Ill try to find another sudoku to play.
Last few updates for iPad has caused this app from working. When open it sticks on opening screen.
We really loved this version of Sudoku. We liked it so much that we finally decided to pay for the ad-free version. Perfect. And then the last update happened to the OS. But there was no update for this app. Now, it just hangs on the opening screen that says Maple Media. We tried going to the website for support. That was a mystery. Very disappointed. Would NOT recommend it.
This app just suddenly decided not to launch. Everytime we press on the icon, the elephant would drop and just sit there. Frustrating.
Im loving this ad$lass app option. We actually uninstalled the other free competitors because its so nerve racking.
The best numbers game out there. No ads, just fun.
Love the fact that it works on our devices with iOS 9.0. Great customizable colors. Shapes and really simple format for "penciling in" guesses.
