Basic Sudoku Rules
Every row must contain the numbers from 1 to 9 with no duplicate numbers in each row.

Good app for a good game. We just wish it had the option to reset a puzzle when you realize you made a mistake but arent sure where.
Its been our favorite for years but we wish they updated it to not kill our battery!

Love the app but lately it freezes up after we play several games.
Great fun! Its a clean, simple, and fully-functional Sudoku with a variety of useful options (like taking notes for what a square might be and intuitive features like double-tapping a square to switch between notes and filling in the puzzle. With a few quirks that week of Japanese comedy, its a fun and quick way to spend a few minuteshowever many minutes you want to spend.
We’ve had several game apps on our phone. This is the only one that we still play daily. Its simple, works well and is fun. The Daily Challenge is something you can do when you have a few spare minutes and gets your brain going. If you have longer, try a harder difficulty level. Easy to put down if you need and pick up and play later.
Good implementation of game. Worth Of You Rewards are funny but ridiculous. Used bottle?!? Milk jug? Proves a point that as long as there are rewards to collect, most will enjoy the flash banner with some mundane item being added to your collection of other boring items. Graphic tracking points are a bit overly fussy and rewards are irrelevant. Daily puzzle rewards around 500 pts and you get to see each and every one added to sliding tracker. Maybe speed that up and get rid of the globe with dancing dots that never stops flashing those dots. Great customization options but took a while to see every option and you have to start a puzzle to witness how it changes things. To summarize: Great app. Great play. Fussy graphics with a slow points tracker that does not affect overall worth of app!

We have been using this Sudoku app for years. It is the best sudoku app ever! No other apps have been as good. The game has a rating system that is super cute and also makes beating your previous time to complete fun!
We are astounded by the number of available options, according to other reviewers (like ARHand? Who rated you 3 stars). We think this game is sheer brilliance. There’s no other activity that gives us more fun, challenges, upsetment, etc. Our big complaint is that we’re not sure what the devil we’re doing half the time: what in Dicken’s name is a bujulera? Or something like that. We’re nearly 80 yrs old, yet nothing has worked us as hard as this game. Fun! Fun! Fun! Like Apple before you, you’ve made a great product, but you need to provide a clear and printed guide on how to use/play it, especially for us seniors, who don’t have the patience to spend figuring how these new-fangled things work. Though we thought chess was it for us, here come you guys with this great game. Thank you. We’re trying to get the medical people to introduce this particular version of this game at all senior social functions. It’s just a spectacular social activity!
IPad / iPad mini optimizations please!
We like it, can be challenging. Freezes a lot requiring a reboot of the phone to clear. Thats getting more frequent. This problem has been eliminated with newer updates. Very good App.
Im not sure what to attribute this to other than the app itself because no other game app makes our phone heat up as bad. After about 3 or 4 games our phone gets really hot and there is a lag that makes us take longer to finish a game and it throws off our time! Lol Not a big deal but we would never get off the app if it wasnt for that. We have to close out the app and wait until our ovine cools down to play again.
We love this sudoku implementation, and the scoring/ranking interface But we hate the ads, and the slowdown/heat up is absurd. Id happily pay for ad removal or a premium version, rather than have those in sight.
… Recently it seems to have a problem with the ads blocking keystroke input… And then it catches up. This is annoying enough to mark the rating down from what we rated it at before.
The interface and usability of the app is great, and the ability to mark possible options for each box is easy to use and quite helpful; we also like the quirky awards after completion of each puzzle – a shovel, milk cup, ocarina, etc… But there is some memory leak in the app that begins to cause extreme issues with response and usability, and the phone quickly heats up to the point of freezing, while draining the battery at a speedy rate. Not sure if it is the ads or just going between filling the squares and marking the viable options, but the issue is quite annoying. We also think that the freezing hinders the timing of completing each puzzle, so the stats and ranking cannot be accurate for each person. We continue to play one or two games a night as a distraction, but the freezing makes it tough to want to play more than that. Still, this is probably the best Sudoku interface we’ve seen.
This is a great Sudoku app, and we use it often, but we have to put our phone in airplane mode to keep our phone from overheating. We dont know what dark business is going on there.
This used to be the best app. Now it freezes after one game. Our iPhone gets so hot its almost burning to hold it. Nothing else does this but this app. Not sure who can fix this but we wish something could be done as theres no other app as good as this one.

There needs to be a version without ads. Our network security keeps getting spam blocks from this app. We loved this app. Played it for years and now we have to get rid of it. So disappointing.
We wrote our first review below in 2018. It seems that nobody is updating the app anymore. The app is also freezing up mid puzzle and is slow moving from square to square. Is Moonrabbit actively fixing the bugs or not? – 2018: Please fix the camera button. It causes the app to crash. Its been over a year and it still crashes. Fun app! Love collecting the icons. Please fix the camera button in the clear screen. Every time we hit the camera button and app crashes and erases our progress. We’ve earned several levels and icons and it was all erased when we hit the camera icon. -9/20/19 update: the app freezes up mid game and on the main menu. Im having to close the app a lot.

Clean design and functionality, plus the addictive belltones when we better our time. We’ve tried many Sudoku apps and the others are all deleted.
We’ve been playing it for years. It has an infinite amount of levels for any skill, and a daily puzzle. Our only wish is to increase the contrast between the color of the numbers that are all placed and those which arent yet.
Game is very customizable. Theres a dark and light mode which is pretty convenient. The level system feels rewarding. NO ADS! And there are like 6 game difficulties that you can test around with which we really like. Arguably the best sudoku app on the app store.

We’ve had this app on our iPad for years. We try others but always come back to this one. Also, we love the user interface.
So far the best Sukudo app we ever used. Easy to use, with daily challenges and ranking. Wonder how those top players managed to solve the puzzle in such a short time :D.
We’ve been playing sudoku for as long as we can remember, and this app is simply the best one we’ve found for mobile. The interface is simple and quick, which helps for timing our speed and not feeling hindered by a clunky interface. We have been playing this one almost daily for at least five years. 10/10 the only thing out there that beats this one is those brain age sudoku games on Nintendo DS. Update: 9/23/19. The app now crashes constantly. This was just before the iOS 13 update. We uninstalled and reinstalled, it still crashes. Please fix.
We really enjoy this version of sudoku, the only problem we have is the invasive adds that flash and spin and that literally keep you from concentrating, there outright irritating. Quite a few times we just end up shutting it off completely frustrated!
One of the best we’ve seen, makes playing it fun. Very clean designs, intuitive controls.
