A Glimpse into #Bridges
Bridges is a logic-based puzzle game invented in Japan. It is also known as Hashi, Ai-Ki-Ai, Hashiwokakero, or Chopsticks.
This app features an unlimited number of free puzzles, generated by the app. No need to buy additional puzzles through in-app purchases.
THE RULES
Connect each island by drawing bridges between them. The number of bridges connected to each island must match its number. To finish the game, the islands must be connected in a continuous path, subject to the following constraints:
- Bridges can only be drawn horizontally or vertically
- Bridges cannot cross
- There cannot be more than two bridges between two islands.
Once all islands are connected with the correct number of bridges, the game is complete.

We love these puzzles, the rules are simple and figuring out strategies and tricks was fun. We only wish there were harder difficulties though. We can solve most diabolical puzzles in a matter of minutes and rarely will there be a tough puzzle that will be take us a few times longer to complete.
True hashi puzzles have only one solution. All of the hard level puzzles we’ve done on this app have had multiple solutions! Unfortunately Ill be deleting and returning to the main hashi app. Only reason Im not giving one star is that the app is navigable and looks good enough.
Banner ad glitches out when changing rotation, annoying full screen timed ads after every puzzle, and wants to track your activity across other apps? No thanks.
The recent addition of video ads, which interrupt podcasts and audiobooks, has made this no longer valuable.
We love these types of puzzles, so we downloaded the app. The first puzzle we did on hard mode had 4 different solutions. Dont know why developers have such a hard time making one solution for bridge puzzles. We’ve only had one app thats done it.
This was one of our favorite puzzle games, despite the mildly annoying ad at the bottom. Now it throws a full-screen ad in your face after every game. So its going in the trash :(
Out of the way ads werent good enough so now they pop up and you have to wait for them. Used to get frequent play and now its probably getting deleted.
The only issue we have is that if you solve the puzzle in the way they expect or it doesnt consider the game completed.
Before we used to be able to view the best times, but now the option has disappeared when we changed from iPhone 6 to 8. We would like to have that back – whats the point of having a timer if we cant see what time we had, since its not even displayed anywhere after the puzzle is finalized. Especially when trying to solve it fast we shouldnt have to check the time before making the last connection… The diabolical is too easy for that name, and we would really appreciate having more difficult puzzles. The easy and normal are super simple, very beginner ones.
We’ve played lots of games now, but we dont want to see ads any more. We cant find ad free option. The dark mode looks pretty but the bright ads are annoying. We would rate higher if there was an ad free option, and the game ended showing the final bridge instead of going to the time and hiding everything.
Would like to see a solution if we cant solve it. On hard level and diabolical level sometimes feel like we have to make an educated guess rather than finding the next logic key in the puzzle.
The game has puzzles that allow cycles. That isnt how bridges traditionally works.
