Pick your level of difficulty is wonderful. The hints when needed are super useful. We have tried several Sudoku apps, this one is by far the best!
We love this ap. It drives us crazy. We love the scan from camera feature. We can take a picture of a puzzle and it will be set up for us on the screen. Quality programming. Thanks.
If you love Sudoku, this app has it all. Daily puzzles in a wide range of difficulties, the ability to scan or manually enter a puzzle, and even info on various solving tricks and strategies. Also, unlike many Sudoku apps, the layouts of the given numbers are symmetric.
For the real sudoku enthusiast, this is one of the few options on the App Store that satisfy! However, some of the features in the game cause it to freeze. If you stick to the regular modes of play, theres no issue, but choosing the top menu option of styles of play and any one of the sub-menu options just freezes the game. We like switching between regular games, only the hard moves games, and watch for patterns games, but the latter two no longer work. Still the best version of sudoku there is, but would love a fix!
Our favorite sudoku app by far. Play any level of difficulty. Get hints as you play if needed. Even scan and upload a game from a book or newspaper. The learning section helps to develop your skills. We play every day!

Im a Sudoku nut! Since we retired over 20 years ago, we’ve done at least one Sudoku puzzle every day: Coffee, Newspaper and Sudoku begin every day. This app allows you to enter puzzles from the newspaper or book or shared puzzles. It also provided puzzles of varying difficulty. It offers hints if you need them and tutorials to teach you advanced solving techniques. Its everything you could want or need in an app. Im a huge fan of this app.
Once we learned how to play Im on this game constantly. We really do think it improves your cognitive ability if you play it right and stick with it.

Couldnt get along without this addictive app. Worth every penny! Photo capture newspaper puzzles every day. Levels well thought out and save feature makes this an ideal way to keep busy during waits at Dr. Office.
We have tried many different versions of Sadako, however this is the one we will always come back to you because it is the most enjoyable one to play. We have written author on a couple of occasions asking questions and have gotten good feedback from him. The different levels are also what makes this game very enjoyable. Yes we do recommend this version!

We are frustrated with the hints. On our we pad we have to go through 3rd hint,2nd hint,1st hint then do you want a hint & finally the HINT! What is the deal with this? We do not have to go through all this on our iPhone. Cant you simplify the process on our iPad app?

No matter your knowledge level , there are challenging games here.
We tried Pure Sudoku which is not as good as this app. This app highlights the nos. So it is easy to tell which cells the no is missing. This app has different keys for nos and notes while Pure Sudoku requires a long hold to enter nos. This is an easy to use Sudoku app. Highly recommended.
Efficient interface, stable, simple. We liked the free version so much (I believe one puzzle at each level per day) that we purchased the full version. We use it daily.
We have played Sudoku for years but never knew all the patterns existed that would help solve puzzles. We are on big time learning curve.
We like the app. We bought when it was $10 and it has been worth every penny.
At .99 this is a steal. We almost never buy apps. Im cheap. But we have gotten so much enjoyment from this particular sudoku app, we did buy it, even though the free version mostly met our needs already. Many thanks to the developers!!!!

Great sudoku app. Would like to see selective filling in of pencil marks based on digits or columns or rows. Compared to the others this is heads and shoulders above. Developers are responsive to bugs as iOS changes. Its everything you could ask for.
This game is not only fun. It is a way to keep track of our mental state. With all the degrees of complexity, timing, and percentages, we know right away how we are functioning mentally!! By setting it at a low level that we can always solve in a few minutes, we know right away, when the time goes up and percentages drop. If we have plenty of time we can up the complexity. And there is help available to learn the twists and turns. And we can set it very low for our grandchildren to play! And it isnt math!! Its logic! The numbers are used as markers because they are perhaps the easiest to remember. Letters, colors, flowers, you name it, could be used instead! Thanks for a wonderful game! We love it!
Thank you for fixing that glitch that occurred when IOS changed. We used it a lot before that happened and while you provided a nice work around in manually entering the puzzle, we were pleasantly surprised when we discovered it was working again. Kudos to your team.
First, excellent APP with so many options. We play from photos every day. Second, Jason Linhart is EXTREMELY responsive and continues to improve his product Third, while the free version is very good, the paid APP is so much easier to use. Worth it, people! Finally, these puzzles keep us on our toes. It helps us look for patterns and plan ahead. So it helps our waning eyesight as well as our brain. Thank you, Jason Linhart, for all you do to continually provide diversion, challenge daily while online or offline. Treasure!
Best user interface, best feature collection, and best way to learn the intricacies of advanced sudoku using the spectacularly helpful hints. We’ve basically learned how to solve sudoku by playing on the app. Totally the best. One bug that we hope gets fixed soon – the hard moves only feature is broken for difficult games. Everything else is perfect.
There must be different algorithms for producing the various levels of Jason Linharts sudoku+ gamesor is it just the number of blank squares? However he does it, it is ever changing and a source of daily joy in our life. We measure our mental capacity by how we perform on the daily challenges. We know we have to up our game when our percentages get too low. Good for all ages, children through elders. Make it a family thing to spread the joy! Thank you, Jason Linhart!

Have tried most of the sudoku apps on iOS/Mac and usually gave up and went back to pen and paper because they all felt cumbersome to use or less natural. Then we tried this app and actually prefer it to pen and paper. Seriously the best sudoku app out there. Thank you dev!
Why the need to copy the clipboard??? We don’t want to switch, loving the tutorials and the play style! This has been our favorite sudoku app for years – and now it copies from our clipboard every time we start a new puzzle? And, even if we clear the clipboard, it copies from our computer with continuity turned on. Huge security risk!!! Guess we have to find a new sudoku app that doesn’t violate our privacy… Sigh…

This is hands-down the best Sudoku game on iOS. It can be customized in all the ways you could want, has the best intuitive user interface, and has levels of hints that go all the way to the best online training for all of the solving techniques from basic to those used by advanced solvers. This app is perfect! Dont be dissuaded if it doesnt get updated frequently, because, really, if you think about it, Sudoku doesnt change, so why would the app need to be changed? This is the only app you will ever need!

Extraordinary programming, with a wealth of features and options. The best Sudoku engine in the Apple Store. Only minor request would be to add some pale-colored backgrounds, though the gray works fine. Congratulations, Jason! Keep up the great work. And thanks for many addictive hours!
