Sudoku ″ Reviews
Started with our son having Sudoku for homework – we struggled with it. The more we did the more we enjoyed it. Now its Diabolical puzzles everyday – better than watching tv. THANKS Addicted !!
Great app to keep mind sharp. Awesome, fun and one of our favorite.
We play the evil level. It helps us stay zen when we cant solve it. And the obvious benefit of using you brain to solve. Funny huh, just slows us down and makes us practice calm.
Update: Excellent response from app management to users requests. Happy again! Update: This is really upsetting, we hate the new color themes, should give the option of choosing the old color theme. We play this game more than twice a week, but we’re already looking for an alternative ……. Old write up: Excellent interface. The way we mark it on paper. After five years, we’re still enjoying it at least once a week.
We still love this app! We play it all the time–I’ve grown bored with most every other game (or finished all levels–or plateaued!). Last update is great–very easy to use. We can almost always finish the "Evil" level puzzles. UPDATE: we still play this once every day! Keeps our mind working. If you’ve never tried Sudoku puzzles, the different levels lead you to mastery in no time at all! UPDATE ON MY UPDATE: we have no idea when we first downloaded this app. We have played most of the games out thereget tired of themdelete themthen a couple of years download it again. We NEVER get tired of this. We have three degrees in science, math, and medicine, and not much holds our interest. This app does. Try itI think youll like it.
Since we’ve turned 70, we have to admit that Im a Senior. Sudoku challenges our brain to be alert and logical.
Love the challenge of this game.. Wonderful figuring out the puzzle!
The difficulty gap between Evil and Diabolical is massive. Evil and everything under it are too easy.
Inconsistent in terms of entering numbers and writing notes.
Love it play all the time. Like the new look. Wonderful , great mind teaser !
Fun to play and has a level for any difficulty. A must play.
Great, non-glitzy, Sudoku game. Options allow you to play at levels that should challenge all but the very best players. They definitely test our brain. We usually do the EVIL or DIABOLICAL level to jump start our brain in the morning.
We like this game, but we wish there were hints.

ThanksI expect it will help us to delay the onset of Alzheimer. Im 86.
Maintaining mental health through strengthening your logic.
No bells and whistles, just Soduko. Its great!
By far our favorite interface after trying 5 or 6 different Sudoku apps. We do wish that it had a hint feature, especially in the hardest diabolical level.
Its challenging but you get a feeling of accomplishment when the puzzle is finished.
It’s worth the money. There are multiple difficulties to choose from, daily challenges, and there’s even the ability to make notes directly on the cells.
Software is well tested, really enjoy, play daily.
Sunoco with this app is often addictive. The app allows selection of level of difficulty from easy to evil. The app tells you immediately if a move is wrong, so the player can gradually explore the game and learn strategies.
Enjoy the challenge though the different levels.
Best Sudoku game we’ve played, bar none.
We play once every with the daily challenge.
No in-app purchases. No adds. Simple and easy to use. Well worth a few bucks for peace of mind. Best part – available to play offline!
We’re addicted, now we must sign off. We want to play another, and another….
A clean interface, no frills, exactly what we want in a sudoku game. Used it for years.
It is helping us with our memory, we love to see our progress! Five stars.
We’ve been playing Sudoku for a while now and we love it! It keeps our mind working and we’ve even taught others and encouraged some of our older friends to play.
We have a few other company’s versions of Soduku installed on our different devices and we like this the best. It is simple to play and the puzzles are appropriately challenging. We would like to see completed sets of squares change color to make it faster to see which numbers are complete.
Great app. We have plyed about 5000 games now. The statistics are incorrect, sometimes badly so. For example, it shows our Best Time for Difficult as 11 minutes and ome seconds, even though we have had many games under 10 minutes.
We play this all the time. We wish the developers would include a head to head option or top 10000 list for each daily challenge. That would make it perfect in our book!
Im having trouble understanding how IErase an error and add a new number. We also dont understand how the smaller numbers appear in the smaller box though we understand what its for. Insured erasing a number and replace it with another one appears to be a complicated. We had to do some figuring out before we got it correct, but we still not sure what it was we did. Confusing we know.
We were really enjoying the version we played until this one replaced it. This one doesnt have the same clues and scoring. Ill keep trying but will probably change to something else.
Too many, too long adds; links to turn off frequently disabled or delayed.
Can not enter numbers whit notes on very annoying.
This is easy to use. We enjoy it.
A good way to pass the time without having a paper or book.
Hands down the best simple Sudoku app we’ve ever used, and we’ve used a lot of them. This app has helped our brain wake up in the morning and kept us from being anxious on airplanes. Its the only game we’ve ever put on our phone that we have NEVER deleted. If youre looking for a sign on which game to try, here it is. Choose this one.
Great game, great app! So much easier than doing it with pencil and paper. With this app you can do the little numbers too, and its easy to figure out how to put in the small numbers vs. The larger numbers. You cant say that for all the Sudoku apps!
We have had this application installed on our iPad from the very beginning. It works great. We like the features including the undo feature and the recompute feature. We have been able to solve a few of the diabolicals but the truth is we think it may have been a matter of luck. Its a great app Id recommend it to anybody likes playing Sudoku.
Easily configurable to provide as much aid as you like or none at all. Nice big presentation – easy to use, done very well.
We would give 5 stars if: 1. ‘Medium’ meant ‘Medium’, not ‘Indeterminate’. While some ‘Medium’ puzzles are just a bit harder than some ‘Easy’ puzzles, others are harder than some ‘Difficult’ puzzles. 2. There were an option to bookmark a spot while solving a puzzle you could easily back up to. Sometimes you just have to take a guess: e.g, a cell may contain a 2 or a 7, proceed from there, and back up if your choice leads to getting blocked. Alternatively, an option to change colors for subsequent entries would make it easier to back up by erasing such marked cells instead off hitting ‘Undo’ many times. On paper, one usually has colored pencils available. Of course, we gladly paid the small fee to get rid of infuriating ads.
