SumiKen : Ink Blade Samurai is an endless runner hack and slash samurai game drawn in unique Japanese ink painting style. This game features fast paced samurai slashing action set in the beautiful landscape of Japan, with characters ranging from samurai to ninja.
Activate character’s Ink mode, a special skill that makes you stronger in battle by striking down enemies and cutting bamboos. Journeying through 150 missions, players will begin perfecting their swordsmanship, survive through various hazards and meet new characters.
The game mechanic is an easy to learn, but difficult to master swipe system which require precise timing and swipe direction in order to land the perfect strike.
Play as one of the seven characters, including the samurai, ninja and more, each with their own unique Ink mode abilities, in order to defeat the endless enemies in battle.

This straightforward, endless distance game has a great look and feel! The stylized graphics are simplistic but beautiful in their black and tan Japanese look. Additionally the game has high replay value and is quite addictive in just the right way. Excellent game!
A great endless runner with a really striking visual style, a great flow to its gameplay mechanics and an absolutely killer soundtrack. Highly recommended to anyone who likes their endless runners to include some timing-based action.

Somebody put a lot of love into this game. We like everything from the interface to minimalism to simple timing based gameplay. The graphics are outdated however, and it does get a bit repetitive, yet keeps you coming back.

It’s pretty basic – but it keeps us hitting the "play" button! Not sorry we spent a buck which is more than you can say for a lot of stuff on the App Store. Weirdly, even after we wrote this positive review the game keeps occasionally inviting us to do it again.
