Game play is delightful and you can have some fun killing time. Is like a mix with Mario bros and sonic at the same time but the control is much simpler and intuitive. Highly recommended if you are looking for a game that allows you to play with one hand only and the tap of a finger.
This is honestly the biggest disappointment ever for us. When we got apple arcade, we were most excited for Super Leap Day as we loved the retro style of the og, Leap Day, and everything about it. But when we saw how absolutely terrible this truly was, as in no more retro graphics, unnecessary 3d-ness, incredibly long and unbearable cutscenes, we were just very disappointed. We still prefer the old game after this as we have been loving speedrunning the game with different characters (like Cloak and Lick) but we have gotten way too familiar with every level so its kinda sad knowing we won’t ever enjoy the fun we used to have playing these games.
Each version of a level uses their gimmick well and we like that.
This game is a really fun platform game but it always shortens our coins like we got 57! But then in the menu it says we have 49?!?! It really annoying can you please fix that? But still five star game.
We are a big fan of the old Leap Day, and am very happy to see and enjoy the Super Leap Day! But there are bugs in the game. For example, if we reach the top with our pet (storm or whatever) or star shining, the trophy wont send us up high and the game sticks. If we restart the top then we cant even get into the trophy. This is not a big deal, but it really has an impact on our experience of the game!
Grate game but it you go above the gold trophy with level 2 puffer the game sends you back to checkpoint 5.
We love this game! Have been playing it for a long while but during all of this timeniver been doing our best to collect every coin on every level. Then we realized after we best all the mini games there is nothing to spend the coins on – we wish we could buy upgrades or power ups or how you had in the original game pay for check marks or something we legitimately have 11,500 coins Game is just starting to feel redundant – if we could suggest sometimes we are ending the game with all sorts of power ups it would be cool if we had power ups left to have a sort of end of level bonus level to play and pretty much try to last a long time but eventually it would use up the power ups.
Jan 12, 023 game frozen. Did hard reset on iPad, updated app and game remains frozen. Help we love this game.
Its a good game but its always is windy skies or sunken island but other that that its pretty fun.
Can you remove the 1 or 3 coins spawning from a chest when you open it? This most recent update changed it and no power ups from a normal chest are virtually non existent. Just put the chests back to normal.
We hated this game when it came out, HATED it. We loved the simplicity of the original game and felt there was too much to this new one. We grew to love it and have spent the past almost two years paying for Apple Arcade specifically for this game. That time has come to an end. From game breaking bugs to crashing on opens, this game has finally done us wrong for the final time. The jumping change on gravity days has changed the game immensely, but not enough for them to adjust the levels. The AI on multiple levels this month alone has made the games unbeatable. Their lack of urgency to fix things is also deplorable when theyre earning consistent money from the game. Id expect this from a big AAA company like Activision or EA, but from a smaller mobile company we never thought Id see the day. Such a shame, we wont be paying for Apple Arcade and wont be trying this game again until its playable.
Our GOD Im so bored of it. Been playing it for years and yall havent have had a good update in YEARS. Add new characters already! Massively add new levels! Add new powers! Add new stuff! Its been basically the same for years now and its so repetitive and boring. Give us something new!
We really like the OG leap day, but this game just feels off. The screen shake is so violent and makes us nauseous, the modernized style feels so ingenuine, and overall we find the first one better. Disappointed.
Primarily in space levels. Jumping to break blocks that are not very far up from where we jump in zero gravity kills us 100% of the time, it has completely broken our ability to get streaks, please fix this.

This game should be removed from Apple Arcade. It is supposed to be reserved for premium games, which this used to be. Not anymore though, the developers have clearly given up. The physics on the gravity levels are so destroyed since the last major update months ago that you cant even beat most of the levels, its even nearly impossible with the star you get after dying multiple times. Your player dies unexplainable when he touches a wall and the direction he jumps in the anti gravity areas doesnt line up with where the landing is anymore, so youre left with just repeatedly jumping into spikes until you die enough times to get a star. Used to LOVE this game and played every single level, and we even went as far are reaching out to the developers to let them know of the bugs, but they dont seem to be testing or care anymore.
For example, todays level, February 2nd 2023, the ending pipes are nearly impossible to go through, we’ve gone through it 23 times, only 4 of which we didnt spawn in the wall and die, Im glad this game is on Apple Arcade and the devs dont make much from it! Xoxo.

Great game, we play it every day. One bug: unable to get key after checkpoint #10 on Nov 7, 2022 level.
This game is a MASSIVE improvement from the first game, which was already good. However, without fail the water levels seem like the worst possible design. There are so many unavoidable and also unkillable creatures and monsters to avoid, so many annoying mechanics like the beach ball key, and so many obstacles that the water beach levels feel less like platforming and more like RNG. If those could be improved–near perfect game. Can’t wait for more characters.
Theres so many bugs its ridiculous. Now when we die the game freezes and we have to restart the app. With every update theres more bugs than the previous update. None of the other games on our phone have this many things wrong with it. Maybe actually take the time to fix things between each update instead of rushing them out. Just a thought.
UPDATE: Day 11/07 still not playable due to missing key First, we admit that we love this game and play it every singe day. However with every update, something gets broken or isnt working as is supposed to. Some examples are water levels which are simply too unpredictable for enjoyable game play, day 11/7 cant be completed due to missing key (except for zipzipwoo – se bellow), multiplayer never manages to find any opponents, high scores are hacked (there is somebody named zipzipwoo who finishes every day in less than a minute – an obvious hack). Midas touch is most useless purchase ever and you cant even un-purchase it. Reason being that there is no new add-on for purchase for months and everybody has abundance of coins. Also not sure what new minus timing bonus does, as it is never visible anywhere. To developer: get a couple or so good beta testers and listen to them – its going to be much better that this current half-baked state.
We were so excited to hear that they released a new leap day game because leap day has been our favorite game for years. Its the perfect mobile game and it gives you a new level everyday, now its getting really repetitive so we thought id try this game but it takes everything good about leap day and ruins it. We just dont understand how someone who made the best game ever could ruin the title with this one? We get they wanted something new but its just not even enjoyable to play. Theres not as much fun characters, the checkpoints are pointless now that you dont need fruit, there is less levels then the regular leap day and not to mention some of these levels are just hard to maneuver and its just not fun. We try so hard to enjoy this game because we love having a new level everyday but its just hard when all this game does is disappoint. Super leap day more like Pooper leap day.
Like most of Nitromes games, Super Leap Day is very creative, unique, and well made. Its also a delight to play! We’ve spent hours and hours playing this game. Yes, some times its difficult, but its always fair. Theres always a way. If you like platformers, you will love this game.
Reaching checkpoint 5 or 10 with the gold power up causes an infinite treasure chest glitch which persists even after dying (I got to 5, died and was sent back to 5 and still got infinite treasure chests). We got the baseball glove and paint power ups and they didnt do anything. We went in the new arcade room and it isnt working. Had to close and restart the game to get out. And reaching the gold trophy at the end no longer brings up the end screen. Game overall is still great tho.
We really love this game and the multiplayer feature is us and our sons favorite thing about it. The issue that Im having is after completing a level, its taking 45 seconds to 1 minute for the cup to actually complete and get to the results screen. Very annoying.
Ever since the multiplayer update everything has been utterly broken.
Great game, but it’s buggs since they last update. Also the achievements don’t work if you unlocked them before this last update.
Treasure ours levels background is bugged and moves too fast. Trophy room (arcade door) doesnt do anything and just displays lorem ipsum text, while also not letting you leave until you close the game and reopen it. Getting to the trophy at the end of the level locks you there until you close the game and reopen it. Pinball games spikes dont work and softlock you in the game until you close and reopen. New feature of the minus time bonus also doesnt work.
Every time they try to add something, they completely f up the rest of the game. Ever since they added multiplayer, so stupid, the game is pretty much unplayable. When you go to play the mini games, cant get anywhere. The game stops and you have to back back out to the main level. So you cant get bonuses from the mini games now. Then when you actually do get to the end of the level and jump into the trophy, the game locks up. Cant say if the coins you collected get saved or not. Used to love this game but its EVERY time they try to update they mess up everything else in the game and it takes days or weeks for them to figure it out. How can updates be released that have SO SO many problems every time? We think Ill just uninstall and find another game.
We have had fun playing the first leap day game. Always fun trying to make every day on the calendar 100% completion. Then when we seen this one we had to get it. ITS WORTH GETTING!!! Im giving it 4 stars because of two reasons. 1) when you have the game in your back grown every now and then it will crash or when playing it might freeze up and crash the game. We havent ran into it a lot but we have Notice a couple of times now for one of those thing have happened. 2) when you get your gold coins like lets say you have 15 gold coins. When you complete the level you dont get all the coins you worked on trying to get. We dont know if theres something Im missing or thats part of it but we would like it if it gave you exactly what you earned when you gathered them. Other then that this game is by far our favorite and is worth getting to past the time and have fun. Now we cant wait to try multiplayer. That will be sick to see what thats going to be like.
Overall, we greatly enjoy the game, its a good time waster to play on the daily, and with a good backlog of levels, its fun to do things. Our only issue with the game is what seems to be impossible times are regularly on the leaderboard – times under a minute; two days ago there was a time of thirty seconds.
Its a decent game but some of the hitboxes are hella weird. ESPECIALLY the minecarts. Trying to get into one of those things is hard as heck.
We really want to enjoy this game but it’s too broken. Way too inconsistent with enemy attacks and what will and won’t hurt you. Some days it’ll freeze some days after you die your character won’t respawn and you have to close the game and start over it’s just way too many problems to really be enjoyable.
The only player in the last update that is playable is Yolk. Every other character is unplayable. Problem started April 9, 2022. The character will show up in the elevator and then freeze and will not move out of the elevator. The only character moving outside of the elevator is Yolk. The game itself is really fun and we play everyday just please fix this one problem.
We literally play it everyday. But today after the update, it just wont let us play. Our character is just frozen on any level we try, So weird.
Shoutout to the Devs for this game and also the new levels daily! Super fun! Only thing right now is that our character cant move and freezes when we start the game currently.
We’ve been waiting for a couple days, hoping the issue might resolve itself, but every time our character comes out of the elevator the entire game freezes we dont know if this is just an individual case, but any help would be extremely appreciated.
Love this game. Unfortunately today, April 9th, it stopped working. Cannot move the character.
Its been frozen since the last update. We’ve cleared cache and cookies, removed and redownloaded. And each character freezes at the beginning of a level. Frustrating. We love playing this game for hours.
As of late the app freezes as soon as the level begins. Been days now hope a fix is in the works.

We played for a couple months now and now the game is frozen and doesnt let us move its been like this for two days. We tried restarting our phone and deleting and downloading it again.
Now dont get us wrong this game is awesome, but the newest map Treasure Miness main gimmick is kinda broken and the mini coin counter is broken too. Nitrome please fix these issues.
