Amazing movement and fighting mechanics. We love how each form has a unique movement mechanic, and how the original form is kept relevant with upgrades. We do feel though that the plant form and the electricity form are underused and we feel as though the rest of the forms are better. Other than that, probably the second best if not best metroidvania style platformer for mobile we’ve played.
We could play this all day but you know our battery but its the best game ever still so keep it up.
This thing is absolutely awesome. We are no point to rate it five stars except imagine how cool. CREATIVE MODE WOULD BE!!! We MEAN ITS THE ABSOLUTE BOMB WITHOUT CREATIVE MODE, BUT IT WOULD BE EVEN COOLER WITH CREATIVE MODE!!!
Why is the level where it looks like flappy bird near the end of the game so hard you need to give mombo fire resistance when hes in his fire form otherwise it just not fair for the player.
The game is really fun but mombo has absolutely no hp and that is annoying ag.
Seems fun but Im using a controller and right off the bay we run across a shield that you can activate no button on the controller will activate it so you have to touch the screen.
Every time we play this game, the sound goes off. Please fix as quickly as possible so we can hear music again. Please remove the Christmas theme forever.
A Super Meat Boy inspired platformer. Controller is a must! So good. Could use more unlockables and a sequel.

This has been a fantastic game to play through. Though not entirely finished as of writing this, we’ve experienced a solid 90% of the game and feel confident in giving a 5/5 stars. The art style is gorgeous and never feels too repetitive, the characters are all pretty interesting (and witty), fun boss fights, etc. Each of the worlds in the game feel unique and offer new game mechanics and secrets to explore. We’ve seen people complain about the controls and while we do agree it has a learning curve, we were able to get used to them pretty quickly and it didnt hinder our play through. This is a metroidvania inspired game (open world where you can progress in a non linear fashion) and we feel like they did the genre justice; the worlds always felt pretty open but never got too confusing where we couldnt figure out our next objective. Overall, a very fun game with a lot of heart. *But could yall update and remove the Christmas theme. Its March.
We usually dont write reviews but this game was different from the first level we played we were hooked and to a game that hardly has any attention so we were shocked when we found out this was an AMAZING game. The controls are simply, the music is catchy, the abilitys are easy to use just everything about this game is perfect and you dont even need to pay a dime to play. Devs if you read this (which we hope you do) keep up the hard work and please make more games like. Ill be sure to let all our friends know about this game!!!
Hours of fun with great graphics, strong audio, decent controls, lots of replayits all there! Solid 4 star game, worth your time and money. So much fun! Reasons for the reduction in stars: 1. No way to sync game data to Apple or FB account means when the game freezes, and you have to delete and reinstall, you will loose all progress. (It has happened, twice.) 2. Poor in-game map UX and UI design, which is surprising given how well the game is designed. 3. A bug in Mombos leaf form that often renders Mombo unmovable when using leaf glide. 4. Unbelievably difficult final world thats nearly unbeatable. We mean, we beat it (all levels @ 100% completion), but that just means only an elite few will. 5. You end up with 100k+ in crystals by the end of the game, after you have purchased all there is to offer. (Give us something to spend our hard earned crystals on, please.)
Literally, you play 20 seconds of a very dull and boring platformer and are forced into an ad when moving into the second screen of the tutorial Nope. Hard Pass. Go pound sand, greedy simpletons.
Not only is this one of the best mobile platformers it also has a well done town building and leveling aspect.
We really liked this game mostly cause it was an adventure game but we hope they add a dlc with a water boss but otherwise we love this game.
We need to be able to sync save data between devices so we can play on our tablet at home and on our phone when away from home.
This game is so underated and has AMAZING and story. The game was well planned and we love it.
When a game has great sound, beautiful graphics, good music, simple controls, upgrades, replay ability, and keeps our attention after the first minute of gameplay. Now we cant stop playing!!! Just take our money and our timeGreat work devs.
Its nice to have the ability to play this on the go but there is a PC version available at SAGE website with a lot of different fan games and you can play it with a controller there so if you want to play on a bigger screen with controller support you can get that but otherwise this is a pretty good port.
This game is amazing. We just beat it with all mombo coins and am pretty sad that this game has come to an end for us. Its so much fun and definitely our new favorite free mobile game. Also dont listen to the ppl that say that the controls are bad we fully beat it with touch controls.
Dont listen to the petty reviewers saying its an unplayable platformer. Im playing this game on a iPhone 12 Pro Max & its working just fine without any issues! Just get a good device to play it on! Despite that, this game is super fun & really cool graphics! The ads are also not all up in your face, the game is fully playable for free. We preferably can pay the $3 to take off the ads. No biggie!
Its fun but theres no way to disable the ads, we wouldve paid to disable them but theres literally no way to do it.
This is one of the best platformers we’ve seen on mobile. We paid for ads to be disabled and they werent, dont know what happened there.
This is a very cute game, and everything about it is so solid that the controls really stick out like a sore thumb. Get it? Thing? Cause you play with your thumbs? Touch screen controls are just a curse for precise platforming gameplay. Theres no way around it, we’ve never seen it done in a way that works reliably – and when youre playing a game that punishes you for deaths by taking away the stuff youve earned, it ends up being prohibitively frustrating. With a controller, this would be an almost perfect game with touch screen controls, its an almost unplayable game, and that is so sad, because its so close to being solid. You simply cannot ask players to preform tight jump / double jump / dash / stomp / wall-jump maneuvers given the controls that are available on touch screen devices.
We have unfortunately tried and swiftly deleted all three Orube games. The controls, especially in this one, just never rise to the level that the gameplay demands. We could see the writing on the wall early with this one. To the person that said you just need a good device, thanks for the laugh. We guess the newer iPhones have a new telepathic interface that doesnt require touch controls?

Its really fun game we like the Character and One of our favorite platforming games.
Its been a while since we played an actual good platformer game. The last one we’ve played was Sword of Xolan, which was fantastic. Nevertheless, this game is designed to be fun, simple and engaging, and Id recommend it to anyone who loves platfomers to give it a try!
