Amazing Details and God Art work.

Love the game but turning off haptics didnt actually turn it off which kind of ruins it for us :(

Its a great fun original idea only thing we would recommend is that the pause button is on top right corner of the swipe thing.

Very cool game mechanic! Really enjoyable.

We really like this game and and like the swipe mechanic. The pixel visuals are really cool too. Our only complaint is that we’ve been running into some annoying bugs, such as the sequence not being displayed (doesnt show us what we have to swipe) and the time not resetting each round. Other than that, really good!

It’s fun , simple , and easy to learn but it’s very bland. Every time we kill an enemy, it doesn’t feel like an opponent, it feels like an obstacle. Shake it up,now it’s not a bad game, just take it with a pinch of salt ok?5 out of 10.

This game is well thought out! Cute and super fun! One of our favorite!

It’s very cool and addictive game. It has unique gameplay. You need to draw gestures as fast as you can to kill enemies. There are various final bosses and endless gameplay. Really fun game.

There’s lots of simple games rushed out by small companies in order to make a quick buck, Swipe Castors isn’t one of them. The gameplay is simple and intuitive, and while the difficulty rises quickly it always seems you can get through another stage with just enough effort. There are a few things that can be done better, but since none of those involve gameplay we won’t bother issuing them here. If you haven’t played the game I’d recommend trying it out!

We’re a real sucker for good universe building if you decide to make more games maybe expand on the other continents and what’s going on there, this game shows improvement from its predecessors. 100/10 would rate again!

We might play this game while waiting in queues on our stream- OmniVizion – but there are ads and when we went to buy the no-ads option, it seems like there are still ads EVERYWHERE during the gameplay. Is this intentional? Did we waste 2$? We want clean no-as gameplay on our streams.

Its a fine gamd play and so entertaining.

This is a great little game that you just keep coming back to. The swipe cast mechanic is great and the overall game just oozes polish.

This is the best idea to make a game. Really good and has a quick pace. We wonder what the developer is going to do next. Maybe add a story mode or a race mode. Keep this game shining!

It’s pretty addictive and we keep going back when we have a few minutes to kill.

We hope the future of this game continues to expand.

It’s a great game and we would highly recommend getting. It reminds us of one of those pixel tog games, however very simple. But, It’s also very rage inducing.

We really love the concept!! Super fun and addicting!! Only thing is there isnt like a checkpoint system. Which makes the game a bit boring and repetitive to have to do the first levels over and over again.

The way the game works, we’re spending most of the game playing the first level or two which is fairly repetitive and not on our edge. Also frustrating that the power ups are so expensive yet the interesting levels (2/3) are near impossible without them. We really want to like this game but we find myself easily bored with it.

Reminds us of lost magic on the Nintendo DS.

We don’t really like to review games, but this one has so much potential that we decided to do it. First off, we are not getting coins for posting on twitter. Second, we can’t watch any videos for coins! The option is there but we can’t click on it. Lastly, you can’t even land soul swipe because it doesn’t register as well as regular attacks.

For having such a simple game mechanic, this app was surprisingly engaging. However the ads made it unbearable; most being 30secs long. Might not sound like much, however if you are on a higher difficulty and you die often, the ads become increasingly inconvenient. We decided to purchase the ad remover and 2x coin bundle, since we were getting pretty into it and IT DID NOT REMOVE THE ADS. Only the 2x coin works. We tried uninstalling and restoring purchase to only yield the same results. Very disappointed and rebarbative.

Is this suppose to be like a knock off of Defenders of texel what happened to that game ?

(Note: this is almost entirely meant for the developers of the game, as "you" refers to them rather than simply the reader. It’s meant as a constructive critique on a game that we feel lacks creativity and spunk that other indie competitors and, in general, games contain.) Personally, we love indie games. We mostly play on PC, which we know is a completely different playing field altogether, but regardless, we feel our knowledge and thoughts can carry over into our review of this game. We went into this game with the same expectation that we do when it comes to most: we want to be entertained, and we want to be engaged. Beyond those primitive desires, we also have learned to enjoy games for their extended experiences, most importantly we’ve learned to love a game if we can feel that in our heart someone put their soul, if not their entire being into their work. Looking at this title we feel nothing of this nature. To put it frankly, it’s a fun distraction for maybe a few minutes unless you’re really into the mechanics, but overall feels soulless, uncreative, and horribly uninspired. We understand that not everything is supposed to be a masterpiece, but this game just feels empty to us. Unfinished, devoid of emotion. It evokes the same feeling as playing a bootleg no-download Pokmon game; needless to say not a good one. This type of game doesn’t usually have to have some great story or message, but at the very least we feel like it should have good characters. The character designs are bland and forgettable, one seems to be a reference to Tunak Tunak Tun and another seems to Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy. The other two are witch girls. Even a game like Tap Titans (or whatever they’ve rebranded themselves as now), which has a huge cast of unlockable heroes and also incorporates small, minimalistic designs, contains more visually interesting and fun characters. The enemies and heroes of this game could have so much more life to them! We’re not sure if you guys (the devs) were just uninspired or perhaps limited by your use of pixel art but where is the fun in these characters? What do their designs say about them? Honestly, nothing! It’s not like you’re candy crush or something, you have room to be creative, to ‘go wild’ and embrace the ideas that you clearly had while conceptualizing this game. For, even with this scathing review, we see a lot of potential in this game. Its core mechanic (spellcasting) is very close to being perfect, could use some fine tuning for responsiveness but is otherwise great. The visuals themselves are bland and don’t jump out but aren’t offensive to the eye. The ads that come with the game are necessary to turn a profit so they can be given a pass. Even though we didn’t love playing the game because of its repetitiveness and lack of aesthetic coordination, we still began this review with 3 stars, which by definition could be worse. If you are still interested in pursuing this project and want it to be a respectable game (which is a fact we’re not 100% sure of, considering the fact that it feels super unfinished and as if you rushed it out before fully realizing your idea, planning to fix it along the road) please try to tap into the creative feelings and perhaps love for older, better video games and look to your roots with the project. Improve some of the pixel art (spriters are everywhere, quite a few work by commission, including us when we used to dabble in it) consider rethinking the general theme + aesthetics as they are super boring (‘medieval’ fantasy is painstakingly overdone, it would be interesting if the setting were perhaps a magic filled future or maybe just something more specific. If you do stick with medieval fantasy check out works like casltevania, drakengard, and fire emblem for what we personally consider to be aesthetically pleasing fantasy, and in general check out owlboy and braid. Both games are platformers but the feeling you’re going for with graphics is probably somewhere in one of those) try to think of the game as a passion project rather than conforming to the norms set up by other games, as the premise is fun and intriguing, and most of all try to improve some of the strange flashing that comes along with the spells as, on a more lighthearted note, they are quite frankly annoying, confusing and feel less like paying homage to retro video game aesthetics and more like a cheap gimmick to make the game feel more fast paced. Most of the transactions and ads aren’t too bad, and you’ve got a baseline for a game that could be really interesting and fun. Thanks for your time, lots of love (Lol), – someone who holds the same high expectations to an underdeveloped indie title on the iOS store as a triple a console title.

Very unique & challenging. Part puzzle & twitch gameplay. Definitely has that "one more go" appeal to it. Wish the time limit was more forgiving when drawing complex gestures. Overall enjoyable experience that comes highly recommended!!

We really enjoyed this game! Is fun, addictive and easy to learn even our 5 year old daughter loves it. Highly recommend it for all ages.

Ever since we were a kid, we’ve been playing similar games on the nintendo and play station. Most recently, we’ve been into turnbased RPGs like Disgaea, but we love real-time battle. Between games like Subway Surfers, Iron Man 3, and MinoMonsters, it’s nice to settle down with this baby on our iTouch and experience the familiar story-driven elements the RPG genre really entranced us with, and this game really scratches the itch for us there. With it’s quality sprite graphics, and easily-grasped gameplay, you would be hardpressed to see it differently from most console RPGs. We hope you guys love this as much as we do.

It’s really interesting and addictive game. Graphics could be more high quality, cause we personally prefer games with as highest as possible graphics, but that doesn’t make this game any less fun. Overall, good game. We like it.

We’re not into games, but a friend of ours worked on this game and told us about it, we found it very original and entertaining love the retro art, wey to go Isai!!!

An interesting game and a memorable model that speeds up action.

We loved this game it’s really original and fun to play.

We absolutely LOVE the graphics in this game. The gameplay is also super addicting – its fast paced and there are plenty of upgrades to save up for, which adds a great sense of progression to the game. Love the game and having a blast so far!

Really enjoyed the art and gameplay in this game. Completely recommended to anyone looking to pass some great time while playing a mobile game.

Enjoying it so far. Though sometimes we get a blank spell, which (as far as we know) is impossible to pass.

Review Update 09/05/2017 4* So the update came out, we did notice it was a little slower, and no longer impossible. We still struggle very much, but we were at least able to get past turn four. As a tip to any players, we found it slightly helpful to keep our finger on the diagram and keep our eyes on the card when it flips. It helps a little bit, but we have very poor reaction time, so we’ve got to try anything we can to make it work. Only because these guys actually read their reviews, we’ll give a couple suggestions. One thing is if there are different levels of difficulty, maybe for the easiest level, instead of having the timer start as soon as the card flips, allow a second or two for the player to study the card so they have a quick second to process what it is exactly that they’re trying to draw out. We’ve forgotten what our other suggestion was, but if we remember it, we’ll be sure to update our review. Original Review 3* The biggest turn off for us is how quickly you have to draw the design. We’re using an iPad and the timer bar drops so quickly. Not only that, but you screw up one time and game over. You can watch an ad to continue, or pay real money for items that give you extra lives. We’ll keep it to see what the update brings, but if we’re still not feeling it, we’ll just move along to the next game.

Our biggest problem with the game is that it doesn’t always read your finger swipes. It’s a fun game and entertaining. But it is very frustrating to swipe and then fail because it wouldn’t pick up our finger.

We played for only about 20 minutes and encounter two round ending bugs. After Soul Swipes, lines sometimes stay which can cause you to fail your next swipe. Also sometimes tiles show up empty, making it impossible to do the swipe. We enjoyed the gameplay, but 3 of our 4 rounds played ending due to bugs means we will be deleting this app.

We got bored of this within 5 minutes because of how repetitive the gameplay was.

Excellent game! The finger swipe combinations are something that gives Swipe Casters a new style of gameplay that we haven’t seen well applied like this before on any other game. We really really like it.

We’ve been looking for a game like this. Maybe a longer time to cast your spells but it’s a great overall game!

Need a game that is addicting , fun, easy to learn , and something that you just can’t put down. Here it is. This developer has quickly gained our trust in great games full of hours of gameplay that never gets boring and has enough depth and imagination you just can’t believe. We fully recommend this game and cannot wait for their next title. 5 stars.

You took a lot of inspiration from Dice Mage 2. Alright. We just thought it looked very similar.

Hey this is a lot of fun and looks good too. We conceptually enjoy the whole sigil drawing too. It is however a little unforgiving, we think the game could benefit from a player health bar too.

We expected there to be more. The only good things about this game are the visuals and the idea of it. Execution however is poor. Defeating enemies gives so few coins that it takes forever to afford anything. You’re better off watching ads for the coins which defeats the purpose of playing. (100 coins per 30 second ad… As opposed to playing 1 minute to get like 5 coins) There are no stages or anything, you just jump right in until you miss and die. Also, we think it was a peculiar move having only normal difficulty unlocked at the start and having to buy easy mode with coins, because someone new to the game would want to play easy mode. EDIT: Let us stress that this game has potential! And that we really like the visuals. It just needs more, you know?

Stuff costs too much. You only have one life. The game lacks features. We just didn’t like it.
