Game is awesome and fun a bit tricky once you get higher into the levels and the cheats are awesome! But lets talk storyline. We were instantly taken aback by how invested we were in this games storylines! We love the characters and the choices and the MAGIC!! We need to know more about what happens after school! We want more romance between Naomi and Bailey! We want to know about Janis and Doofus! We just need a mother book! Please!!
This game is super fun. We are on our second play through and have never had to spend money if we didnt want to. It is challenging but not so hard that you have to spend money to beat a level. There are plenty of daily rewards you can get that will help when needed. The only downside is there is no new content available or updates in the game. It has been a while since the events were playable as well like the frog finals. They just stopped happening.
Im so sad to hear that this game storyline came to an end, but its so cool to be able to reset and replay if you choose to! One of the best and most fun match 3 games we’ve ever played. We truly love this game .
Please make more games like Switchcraft it was a great story so make more!
This is the first time we ever finished a game all the way through! We definitely need more like it!
Literally cannot play this game enough. Im already looking forward to the end of the story just so we can restart and play it again. (Ive already decided that next time Im going to go all-out frenemy on Lydia.) The gameplay is addictive, the story has us absolutely hooked, and the art is SPECTACULAR. Switchcraft is the main game we play when we have internet connection, and we could play it for hours on end. Scratch that, we DO play it for hours on end. On a separate note, Id like to add this game is the reason Im gay. Like, not even kidding. We found out we were biromantic when Bailey kissed Naomi on their date. So, thanks for that!

Im a paranormal romance writer, and we loved this story. Its rich and detailed and having choices makes it personal and fun! We liked the games as well. We would love to see an adult version, cozy witch genre style with a little romance tossed in.
We would routinely play and download multiple match-3 games. You know the endless cycle; out of lives in one, play another, wait for the heart cooldowns, rotate. Switchcraft is the only one we have now. Its not bombarding you with events and paywalls and dailies. We play and it doesnt feel like the randomized difficulty to make you purchase in game content. And if we run out of lives we can just play the story. The characters are diverse in a way, but we will say they all feel very immature and quippy for shallow humor. Definitely written for a younger audience, but still entertaining enough to engage with.
We dont know how we found this game but Im so glad we did. We love the puzzles but the story and interesting choices to be made are what keep us playing the game as we wound down for the day. We love the visuals and the dialogue is not stilted as it is in many games. We wish it were still receiving updates or that there was a new one on the horizon. But even if there is not, thank you for making this one!!! We look forward to future games from Wooga!
This game literally lowers our blood pressure (Ive tested it). Love the graphics, the story, the frog finals. Wish there were more chapters!
This is one of the best games we have played but it gets very hard on up in it when you get too the postions they dont want too load.
When you tap the Play button to start a level, the game will very occasionally not respond immediately. If you tap the play button again during this time, the subsequent load time at the start of the level is much longer, almost as the its trying to load the level assets multiple times based on how many times you pressed the button. Unfortunately this bug isnt very reproduceable, it seems random. Also, theres a missing music trigger at the start of Chapter 19, Task 5 (I think), titled Go to the lake. The title screen music just continues to play over the story. Oh and, since this is technically also a review, uh, we absolutely love the game. The writing has no reason to be this good, and the gameplay is just fun. (But never spend your coins on Continues, folks, its never worth it!)
We love Switchcraft! The graphics are beautiful, the story is interesting and engaging, and the connect-3 game is smooth. Every little detail, every drawing, every animation, every note in every piece of the soundtrack, has clearly been made thoughtfully and with love. And we seriously cant believe theres no ads and In-app purchases are not necessary at ALL to get through the game. We still make them, though, and we never feel bad because these creators deserve success!!

We’ve been blown away by this game. The story is riveting, the characters are interesting, its LGBTQ+ inclusive, and romance isnt even the main aspect of the story which makes it feel more realistic. It also doesnt make you pay to unlock certain choices like some choice-based story games do. We thought at first that the added matching game aspect would be a negative since we dont usually like them very much, but its the perfect combination of luck and challenge that makes it fun to play, and not like a chore thats necessary to continue the story. Im not sure how far into the game we am, but we’ve been playing for 5 days and we think Im still just near the beginning of the beginning of the story. Hopefully things dont change as we move forward and the game stays just as fun, but so far its absolutely amazing! 10/10.
We love this game have been playing it for a long time and finally came to the end of the story. Definitely a unique experience and am thinking of restarting it to continue playing. We really enjoyed the story line and everything in the game. We hope the developers are going to continue to create more chapters for the characters because it would be awesome to see more adventures of them or maybe even create new chapters of each character, their perspectives or own adventures. It would be unfortunate to just end the story and only be able to play the matching portion because it all ties together and is a major part of what makes this game so unique and fun. Hope to see something new soon until then Ill be replay it from the beginning.
This game is amazing especially the times she has a vision, we really recommend this game if you are really into mysterys, missing people, and cliff hangers ( also if you dont cliff hangers are they are something that like you get really exited about something and then 2 seconds after that it just ends, but we dont mean it just ends forever we mean till the next episode). So anyways its really realistic and Linda kinda gets scary at the end of chapter 3 but umm its also kinda weird. But one thing about this game it goes on forever basically. We were just going to say to the developers in this game, there is nothing absolutely nothing wrong with this game that we know of. Also if you dont want to have a lot of time on your screen then dont download this because your gonna lose track of time, when we meant by that we spent 5 hours thinking it was only thirty minutes. But we love this game because its realistic, you basically get obsessed with it, witchcraft, you picture it inside your head, and you really cant get off it. Totally recommend this game for anyone!!!
This game is absolutely fantastic!! We love the fact that you can choose the way the story goes, we love the art style, and we love match 3 games! This is all of them combined into one. Part of us cant wait to finish the story, but the other part of us doesnt want to ever finish it!
We dont usually play games but Im addicted to this one. We love how you arent bombarded with ads at all and it is completely free! You have the option to buy things like coins and stuff like that but you dont HAVE to buy anything to progress in this game. The storyline is very interesting, love that you can engage and select options, and the bubble shooting part is super fun and not too hard but a good challenge as you continue to level up. This is such an amazing game and we dont leave reviews often but this game deserves a great rating because it is awesome!!!

We love that you only have to watch ads for optional rewards, and we love that you play levels to get story tokens. There are never any choices that cost coins like you see in a lot of story play through games and the story is really great so far!
This is by far the best match 3. Usually these tend to get repetitive and boringNOT THIS!!! This game actually has an ending!! So you have a goal to get to! The story line is fantastic!!! The characters are wonderful and you feel like youre really a part of the story! The graphics, and music is mesmerizing. Now we can start over and make different choices. Wooga did it again!! We hope you create more !!!
We have finally finished the game. The storyline was great! The only thing we wish there was more of was romance but overall, great concept !!! Hoping to see more.

We love this app so much! We’ve been playing it for almost a year now, almost every night when we get in bed. The puzzles are great and satisfying and the characters are all so lovely! We love being Bailey :) we got got by a targeted ad for this but we are not mad about it at all! Its a perfect little game with a great story and world to play it in. The powerups are all great and we love the system of watching the ads on the plant daily to get them. We always hope for an infinity life but if we run out and dont get one its probably time to stop playing for the day. We easily spend at least an hour with Switchcraft every day! Thank you to the devs for making the best game app we’ve ever downloaded :)
Loved playing the game until it hit the endbig drawback on story-based games. We had to start over from level 1 to keep feeding the addiction. For the last two days it keeps crashing mid-gameno update that we missed, and Im not having issues with other appspossible glitch going on?
We do love this game. It is hard Im some instances but most of the levels are doable. The only this we dislike about it is not being able to personalize the character and having to follow the side stories. Those are really a waste of stars when that are mostly irrelevant to the main story. Additionally, there should be story options where you can choose which story to follow and complete instead of just chasing after Lydia. Like being able to learn magic, or solve other mysteries at the academy. But overall we love this game. It is one of the few that we still play. We made it to level 2,164 before we accident turned the language to Spanish and reset it while trying to get it back in English.
We really like this game its god and the story is extremely interesting. We just got the game a little bit ago and have been playing every chance we get. M only complaint is that the frogs sometimes go to a completely random place and it does not help much. This might just be us but Im on level (I dont remember) 170 or something close to that but its getting kinda hard but not TOO hard its a nice hard where you dont always win and you have to actually TRY an we enjoy it, its not like in other games where every level is easy. This also might just be us and Im just saying but our favorite character is Gilmore we feel like Gilmore is the character who acts most like an actual human.
Im currently on level 316 and its very difficult for us to complete even with our powerups. We have to try multiple times to beat each level. We wish there was an easier opportunity to earn gems like watching extra adds. Or using the leaf or investigative icons that helps us get fragments and use that as magicka. Right now as much we love this game and the extra opportunities for gems, Im really discouraged. Im worried how Im going to pass thru levels and make it thru the story as we heard theres over a thousand levels and we really want to get to the end of this story. As a result of this we really dont play this often as we used to but when we get in we try and try until we either win or give up out of frustration.
We’ve had a good time playing so far. We like the story and the game play. Its been enjoyable up until lvl 407. After 138 attempts at this level the game has turned into a source of frustration instead of enjoyment. Im done. Good luck to the rest of you all.
We have to say, what a wonderful and well developed game this is. The story is intriguing and fantastic and you guys did an excellent job creating this game. We love it, and im a straight guy lol. Hard to put our phone down with this game. But we only have one issue, we’ve been stuck on a level for almost 2 days now and if we dont beat it by tomorrow unfortunately we will delete it and will come back and change our feedback to a 2 star rating because there is nothing worse than being stuck on a level for days kinda forcing people to spend real money to pass the level. We’ve already spent money on this game and wont spend anymore. Spending money on this games constantly its a waste of money because you will get stuck over and over and it will require you to spend money over and over and im not a rich person with money to throw away on this stuff. We spend money here and there with the intention to help developers out, kinda like a donation. This game however deserves it to spend a few bucks here and there but we wont spend anymore. Please, fix the difficulty because we will love to know how this story ends. What developers need to understand is that making games so difficult that you get stuck for days will make the game boring and you will lose customers or players so please dont make the game so difficult.

Pretty standard match 3 game. The story is intriguing but comes in really short fast paced snippets. We dont know if any of the choices matter besides a different line of dialogue here and there. The gameplay is dead easy until the obvious difficulty spike at level 41 where they introduce a fun new mechanic called: you dont have enough moves, spend some money.
We love this game the storyline is immersive and addictive. It keeps you guessing and entertained. We also love the puzzles, they are challenging but not overly so. Unlike other games we’ve played which are just too hard. The only problem we have is that when you unlock the visions it stops working and we cant play it anymore. It happened to the two devices we have. Im very disappointed. We want to continue the game but we cant. Thanks for reading this.
Game is good but keeps on freezing on the on the Lydia vision fragments screen please fix that.
We’ve been playing this game for about a few months and we’ve really enjoyed the story aspect tied into the levels. Our only complaint is that some levels are extremely difficult to a point where im trying to pass it for a week. It is also rare that we have any power ups available to help with the levels. It seems impossible to get those without buying them. Anyways im on level 263 which isnt even labeled as hard, and we have been stuck for a few days now and dont really have the money to buy anything. We’ve had this issue with several other levels which makes the game not as fun anymore. We like a challenging game but not to a point where it takes us days to accomplish one level.
We loved the game at first, but around level 70 it became boring bc its a mystery but you have to play sooooo many levels just to go through one tiny scene, barely learn anything about the story, and instantly go back to playing so many levels. If we wanted to play match 3 Id get a match 3 game. We came to this for a witch story. Make it reasonable please. Like 1 level for a few sections of the story. And the characters are just running around doing random thing after random thing like Can we just find Lydia please?
We’ve had this game for a long time and we go through phases of playing it non stop then not playing for a while. After that span of time of not playing the game, it completely stops working. As soon as we open the app it freezes up on us and we cant do anything other than uninstall it. The first time we had to uninstall it and we lost all of our progress. Hopefully, our progress is saved this time.
This game was relatively easy and engaging in the beginning. The story is strong and we kept coming back to play. However, it takes a MASSIVE difficulty spike at level 41. It got to the point we started looking up tutorials online. And then we (and other players) noticed something. Level 41 used to be easier. It used to be 17 butterflies with 24 moves. However, they changed it to 21 butterflies with 17 moves. Why? Our guess is to make more money. Im not about to sink our money into a game that spikes the difficulty and artificially changes difficulty just to make a quick buck. We were invested in the story, but this is a dealbreaker. Im probably going to end up deleting this game because of this. Do not download this game unless this gets patched (which we doubt it will be because according to other users this has been a problem for almost a year).
We love when we just feel like doing puzzles going through and collecting story gems. The puzzles are fun!!! And then, when we just feel like doing story, we can go through as much as we can. But as the story went on the player character started to get annoying where you were like why are you saying anything and why are you doing this right now and we wouldnt do this if it was up to us! So we stop playing because it just felt more annoying than anything.
So far was enjoying the start of this game- the art and story line have captured our curiosity but we have hit a wall with Lydias fragment as it doesnt let us exit the fragment screen or pull up any fragments. We cannot progress past the tutorial screen :(
This is a beautifully designed fun game, but as some others have said, its super buggy. It’ll crash at the worst time when im just about to beat a hard level and its extremely disheartening, enough to make us stop playing for a while. Its a shame because we really enjoy this game and the story but we wish there was a solution to this.
The good: -Beautiful illustrations and graphics -Actual fun and satisfying gameplay -No forced ads (can watch some for bonus items) -Diverse cast of characters -Well-written story and dialogue -Game is actually fleshed out and not just another money-grab match 3 clone The bad: -Some levels are impossible to beat without basically having to spending money for coins/power-ups. Luckily these are rare-ish, but frequent enough to be annoying -Game occasionally crashes mid-level, forcing you to lose a life -Magnus daily bonus and some of the plant bonuses are laughable – you often get 20 coins as the prize A few months ago we would have given this game 5 stars, but our main complaint is that it seems the devs abandoned or stopped caring about this game after they released the final season of the story. There used to be fun, rotating events every week like frog finals or the line gem version of that, or something to mix things up (been a while, cant remember specific ones). Now, nothing. Then this past couple weeks, weve been trapped in frog finals and replaying the same few levels over and over and over and over and if we go to the event page its glitched out and says negative so and so days left, so we havent been able to play the normal levels since then. We’ve been playing this game for several months (maybe even a year now?) and dont mind spending a few dollars here and there to support, but it really does feel like the game got abandoned since the story released ended. Even with the story finished Id like to continue to play levels :( Hoping the devs fix these issues.
We lost our device and came back but couldn’t remember enough of the story. Resetting sounded like a good idea. Sadly a bug resets us to the intro & level 3 after closing the app. Neither restarting the device or uninstalling & reinstalling the app have worked to fix it. We love the game & the story, so we hope they fix it soon.
Able to play for a while, then the levels get impossible and we cant progress. The story was good, but we start to lose interest when we cant beat a level for days. 12 moves for nearly 40 items you need is insane.
Many of the levels take too long to win (I mean, we’ve been stuck on the same level for over 45 minutes now) and it just feels like its leading you (after all your hard work on the game) to just another difficult level. At this point, its just like solving the difficult for half an hour, then getting to see ten seconds of the story.
