Honestly the best rpg on the appstore.
Really cool game and the story is interesting, the constantly changing camera angles during the combat section make it hard to tell what your opponent is doing and its honestly really frustrating that there isnt a setting to disable it Im trying to fight, not enjoy the scenery.
Ive never been addicted to a mobile game before, but this just scratches so many itches. Amazing concept, design, and atmosphere.

See the title – you will have a hard time putting your phone down with this game especially if you crave a challenge. Not knowing if the next fight will be your last keeps you on the edge of your seat (if youre not playing in bed!).
Had an absolute blast playing just wish they had DLC content or just add ons.
The game is very interesting, but please add Chinese.
The games great, but we have only two notes- the first and probably most common, add to the quests a bit? Make them a bit more engaging- or not its fine for a quick mobile game, The 2nd and in our opinion most important note – when an enemy is tired / exhausted..THEY SHOULDNT BE ABLE TO SPAM ATTACK..its impossible to approach them and capitalize on them running out of stamina if they keep you back with attacks ..but theyre supposedly exhausted..you seriously cant get close enough esp to spear enemies.
We would give five stars if the combat system was improved upon. As of now, it has some flawed mechanics that result in some pretty dumb endings to an otherwise great interactive story. Despite its flaws we find ourselves repeatedly playing again and again.
Very fun to play. Developers are still adding updates ! Thank you for the game and we hope you keep updating and maybe make a new one too.
By far our favorite game, so replayable, so many ways to approach each life, love the single-life aspect of it. Unfortunately, for the past week or so it has been crashing as soon as we open it but cant wait until its fixed.

One of the most unique and addicting games Ive ever played. Everything about this game is amazing and we easily couldve spent dozens of hours playing it if it wasnt for the game breaking crashes. Twice now its happened where the game will suddenly crash after winning a fight and whenever we start the app afterwards it will crash immediately after loading. Only uninstalling and reinstalling fixes this at the cost of all your progress.
Magnificent upgrades, our only request is that you add more magic elements and abilities to the game.
Its a really great game with good story telling. However, the combat is a bit lacking. You cant move backward and the only way to control your movement is holding shield. It may seem fine at first but the ai can move forward and backwards, it becomes a huge disadvantage when the ai can force you to move forward to continue attacking or else the ai can retreat and heal. And because you cant retreat(move backwards) whenever the ai attacks you, you basically have to take all the attacks. The ai can retreat out of your range of attacks. Combine with the ai extra health and high stamina regen, if the ai decides to rush you without retreating, then you are dead.
A truly exemplary game with so much replayability, we continue to come back. 10/10.
We remember first downloading and playing sword and glory during high school. We were hooked and remembered playing it for months. After getting to around 300,000 glory and a dozen play throughs, we dropped the game eventually. Now, Ive seen rediscovered this game 6 years later and we cannot describe how happy we are that this game and community is still going. The new quests, equipment, and perks have us playing all over again and rediscovering all its hidden mechanics. Truly a beautifully simple game that deserves the consistent fan base that still play-well done.
One of the best games ive ever played in general and for it to be a mobile games is crazy ive played it since we were a kid and im glad to see that its been updated a few times since then just wish it was more frequent but we love the game all around it has alot of potential and we cant really find a community for the game for things im trying to figure out and just tips but its still fun how it is.
One of the few mobile games with no ads, and great gameplay.
The fights are good dont get us wrong but it could get so much better. Just by adding some mechanics an example would be parrying. This could be achieved by shielding as an attack comes and boom you take reduced shield damage for that one hit. The point isnt telling you to add parrying but to add mechanics you think are right.
It takes about 3-4 hours of grinding to find a good groove and get the mechanics down. There is no real story but you can play with a couple goals in mind like maxing a stat out or clearing out some areas.
All you have to do is a power attack- speed beats careful careful beats power power beats speed easy as that, who would have thought you actually had to get good at a game to beat it.
One of those games you cant put down. You get invested. One extreme downside is the fairness in fighting. Ill tire out our opponent to no stamina but they keep the same attack speed and continue to swing. Then wont allow us to attack even when we choose the correct counter attack. Its especially frustrating when the opponent is lower level than ours. Besides that we love it. Also wish glory points were easier to gain.
Being that this game is based on fighting, the mechanics should be better. Pass on it.
This game was a blast we hope yall make a zombie game with this type of RPG ish stuff thank u.
So we loved this game when we first played It. It was a very charming game. We had to delete to make space though and then forgot to reinstall it. But know It says that it isn't compatible with our iPad! We are furious.
More Weapons? Game is sweet this is what we play when we have free time! Add fighting styles maybe? Different versions of fast careful strong and shield bash as well.
We really enjoy playing this for hours at a time.
We hate this game so much but love it so much at the same time only hate when Ive worked so high then die and start all the way back down as a pleb.
This is one of the greatest mobile games Ive ever played, if your thinking about it get it! Its really good and you wont regret it. RPG Elements are there and the story… ITS SO GOOD, you can make your own choices and the fighting is well thought out. Get this game.. Please BTW Some of the outfits crash the game and glitch it so you have to reinstall that. One of them is the crusader outfit please fix! =).
Awesome RPG!!! We've been playing for hours and have no desire to put our phone down. Even when you die, you want to create a new character. Trying to get the perfect combination of perks has been addicting. Amazing game with tons of replayability. 5 stars.
We love Lord of the Rings, we love medieval themes, we love freedom of movement in games. This is such a new approach. We also love the fact that it doesnt have 20 inventory items you are having to manage which take you out of the story so many times. It is very enjoyable.
Whenever we try to tap on the more expensive armor sets the game glitches out and we have to restart the app.
We really enjoy the simplicity and enjoyable gameplay this game provides. We feel like a lot of games are just trying to be way over the top in sense of getting more people to play. We think everyone should take a look into this game. Truthfully This is the first review on a game we have done and we dont regret it.
The game crashed and broke after only three lives and we couldnt get back on so yeah… But was fun up until that point.
If you dont make a dominance build by level 4 youre basically a dead man walking because everyone above 4 has high dominance and will eat your hearts like wood through a wood chipper.
Its a great game, we keep aging too quickly and we keep having to level up speed perks, we want there to be more perks for speed and the aging to be more realistic, and please add more weapons and shields with unique abilities, how about outfits with special abilities, like the berserker outfit, you get it by doing a quest, it can give you 2 defense while your wearing it, or shield of fortune, gives the player plus 2 dominance, like the eagle sword, plus you can add an arena mode where you could fight on the platform where you fought the champion at foreign stronghold with the spikes around it, still, please add speed perks.
This game is great we love the quotes in the game the story and the challenge it just needs updates. If you tap on certain outfits our game freezes. All in all though its really fun and worth a shot.
The combat system is very simple, and very easy to understand, but still complex enough to stay engaging. It is probably the most like a LARP duel, or a real life fencing match, than any combat system Ive yet seen. There are also many, many approaches to making a character, and it is still a system of improving stats, but the way they explain how your character gets +1 defense because hes worked on a farm long enough to be stronger than others makes it seem more human and real. Definitely a good case study for how to mesh mechanics and story seamlessly.
We really enjoy the game however they developers could fix the bugs in some of the equipment that freezes the game. They could also add some more color than just a few equipment pieces.
It glitches waaayyyy to much! On higher leveled opponents, their hit boxes actually disappear. The game freezes at least twice for every 45 min of playing. And much more. Honestly, we would give it 5 stars if they fixed the problem with the hitboxes and invulnerable enemies.
Honestly one of our favorite games but this game is so glitchy. Every time we exit out if this game and come back it will try to resume the game we had but instead its half a loading screen and have the opened game. It gets so irritating that we delete the game and download it again. So please creators…fix this.
Devs please make the enemies easier to defeat. If you do this, we really believe this game could become a top ten.

The title screen of the game is freezing and we cannot play it.
This game is phenomenal, but every time we change the outfit on our character, the game glitches and crashes. Like we said, we absolutely love this game, and Id give it 5 stars, but this broke several games of ours. Edit: Now the game wont even load. We had to delete it once and red downloaded it. Its done this twice.
This is a fun game to play that doesnt require a lot of time. In the end, you will die. Maybe right away. But the combinations of decision pathways make it somewhat addictive. The graphics are crude but the gameplay makes that easy to ignore. We really, really enjoyed this game. However, for quite some time have been unable to play because the game freezes on the loading/ resume game screen. This only happened after making an in-game purchase of epic points. We contacted the developer and they responded quickly. They asked the type of device ( iPad) and o.s., etc. Havent heard anything back or seen any updates. This game would rank 4 or 5 stars if it was only possible to play.
What this game accomplishes, others try to do with much gaudier graphics, fancier story, and huge boss battles. But this game somehow is able to tell a convincing, fun story simply through small, text based conversations. One can have huge boss battles, save the village, or become a murdering villain while letting the beautiful but simple black and white graphics be the foundation of which they fill in the gaps with colors of their imagination. We did not expect this game but needed it desperately. The fighting is simple but rewarding and every action feels weighted as do the consequences. A great game that we are very much looking forwards to updates! Coming from someone who loves to delve back into the past, although perhaps a bit too romanticized version of it, we could not have asked for a better game. Im looking forwards to seeing how this game evolves and would welcome more like it-perhaps even a series? UPDATE:November 28,2017 While still an amazing game we are currently stuck on the loading screen of the game. Half of the screen has become the title and the other half the game itself while the loading emblem has become superimposed onto the screen without any change. We cant play this amazing game and its incredibly frustrating. We will give the game 5 stars again when this issue is resolved Thank You.
We have played this game over a long time and it is good to see that the developer is still updating. It is worth trying.
