Community Insight:
Absolutely fantastic. Great story, art, mechanics, the collab is top tier, marvelous.
This is the best gatcha game we ever played! We totally recommend to everyone.
Cannot wait for this Witcher 3 collab to start in two days. SOC has been our go to IOS game for over a year+ now along with HSR, so the addition of Witcher 3 characters; one of our all time favorite games ever, is something Im beyond excited for. Ive been saving up everything we can for pulls and really hope Im able to get the four of them without spending more than 20ish bucks haha. If youre not playing this game and love games like Fire Emblem and FF Tactics, we highly recommend it. It will take a lot of time to play through the entire main story and side content at this point, but there will be a ton to do for anyone new to the game. Theres no way to just buy the best possible team when first starting even if you spent thousands as much of it is locked behind the actual content; which is fantastically done where both the story, locations, and characters are well written and have great depth.
Best gotcha game in history for the phone. An epic beautiful dramatic RPG hame where you go through different timelines and explore each MC storyline for good or bad.
We have been playing since mobile launch, for over a year. Use our invite code F6AH8QE1LTG. Also, you are welcome to join our guild, The Divine. We max out rewards every week. Fun game. Lots to do. The game is not stingy and not pay to win, which are huge pluses. Lvl 60 is only the beginning.
We thoroughly enjoy this game!! We get sad every couple weeks because we know it is a Gacha game and will inevitably have an End of Service. We would happily pay for this to be a full fledged stand alone game that you could by seasons just so we could keep playing when they decide to terminate the game.
Ive been playing this for over a year now and Im still in love with the storyline animation and everything about it. We cant get enough and Im aways trying to recommend it. Our favorite game of all time and will always be.
If we havent seen this, we would never imagine a mobile game with such touching story , beautiful artwork and music, and immersive gameplay. When we say other games fun or interesting, this game is not that. This game is beautiful and dreamy.
The game has so much to do and so many things, but we actually teared up during our first play through when the story ended. The developers did a phenomenal job making the story compelling and memorable. There are a few plot holes and it can be very confusing at first, but after you play through a different version of the story (there are many) you get stronger and open MORE story line. Be patient with the game and it is very rewarding. No need to spend a bunch of money unless you want to compete with other players. Personally we just collect characters, and play through stories and events. Well done team.
Game pace is in your control and the battle system is very FF tactics style. Very nice.
There is a complex story once you get passes the opening part. The PvP is ok. The real magic is in the spiral of destiny where you can choose your own story and your choices carry weight. The combat is pretty in depth with the different moves and the way support, offense, and defense interplay.
A modern Final Fantasy Tactics! This game is the best!Players can clear all content and advance as free to play or make the game easier by paying for characters, gear, and upgrades. Ive been playing for over a year and Im enjoying the game more than ever. Thanks to the developers for continuing to make a really great game. Theres a story RPG mode and a slow-build Character Advancement and Challenge mode. Hoping for more PvP content in the future. We highly recommend this game.
Ive had the game since it came out on the phone, Ive loved it the whole time. Yes theres pay to win and stuff but its still enjoyable without paying for stuff.
If you do not want to be forced by Apple to upgrade your iOS version, you have to upgrade it it would get deleted its on iOS 11 and Apple is making you upgraded. You do have a choice so can you please upgrade to iOS 16 or 17 honestly upgraded to iOS 18.4 you have a choice you have to upgrade it like now you have like two weeks just a reminding you we will come back in a week or is three days left before you have to upgrade it by Apple its not green tea choice. Its a month. Its still a escaping it bros.
The game looks and sounds good and the characters are amazing and the art work is beautiful.
Its definitely the funnest mobile game Ive played in years.
Ill keep this short (Im lying). This game is really good if you have an itch for tactical battle mechanics where you command your heros to perform actions to achieve a goal (eliminate the enemy/ save character/ stall for time/ etc). Im a sucker for good pixel art in games, and this game has by far one of the better pixel art animations Ive seen. Also while this is considered a gacha game, the game more than enough provides you with challenges and rewards for you to earn gems so you can unlock new characters and doesnt paywall anything as long as you play the game. Finally the story is very interesting and we enjoy its concept because it allows the player to explore and aim for certain endings. The lore building is done really well with in-game texts and in-game actions. Our one gripe about the lore is sometimes they will info dump some lore, and instead of the characters be in some sort of scenery or area. You are met with a dark stage and the stage lights illuminate the character who is info dumping. Which we think can get boring having to read texts about the lore instead of it being shown (maybe a flashback or something atleast) While this is our one gripe, this game is absolutely one of the better games you can find on the app store, and we highly recommend giving the game a chance.
This game is fantastic. Super f2p friendly too. Story is exceptionally well written. If youre a fan of final fantasy tactics, tactics ogre or even fire emblem – youll probably love this game.
Absolutelly great game for f2p players and dolphins, you can totally play and enjoy every update without spending. Great tactical game.
With WOTV gone, this is easily the best Tactical RPG gacha on the market. Do yourself a favor and give this game a try.
After we run out of energy, we thought that was it. Then we saw p2w content and got more upset. But at least there is also a campaign, it looks like it might be endless :))).
Its a great game but honestly would be better if they add boss raids or multiplayer or PvP has a lot of potential, right now all it has is story mode nothing else.
This game does a lot of things right. Interesting character designs, great music, beautiful art, and a story with some potential. However, it is hard for us to justify spending money on a game that has Chinese, Japanese, and Korean voice acting but no English option. On top of that, many of the translations for Global seem to be done by machine translation, not a team of professional translators/editors. There is also a lack of communication and engagement with Global players. No contests. No responses from devs. No presence in their Discord channel. It feels like SoC just doesnt really care about investing into Global and are willing to publish a game that feels unfinished.
Ive been really enjoying the new side story main arc, but im at the point where they are trying to reclaim back the castle. Now Im in the middle of the 10 rounds and everytime we join back in, the game crashes and when we join back in it sometimes rewinds us to a part we already played. This has been happening for three days now and we would like some help.
Overall great game . Good pulls early game but as we progress farther into the game to level 60 – it seems that our legendary pull percentage is decreasing (2.0%). We havent put a dime in but it almost seems as if the system is punishing us for that. Other than that, no other complaints.
If there was an English dub, we would play this regularly; unfortunately, at the time writing this, there isnt.
One of our favorite games to play to decompress/pass time. We enjoy using most units and playing SoD lots along with pvp (challenging friends to duels. Clash is zzz)).
Ive been looking for turn-based battle games like this, and honestly this has been one of our best experiences. No annoying paywalls, great and understandable mechanics, everything is setup so even new players can get good stats easily. As for the summons, it is very satisfying to draw legendaries. Many events also make the game very fun to play.
We loved FFT growing up and this game is very similar. They also have decent pricing for in game purchases.
This might be the perfect game. Its got a lot of depth and strategic management in the Spiral of Destinies, and the characters are great. Play it for yourself.
Just try it! Amazing art, F2P friendly, incredible tactical gameplay. We actually am happy to spend a few bucks on this game because its made with love.
Sometimes Im not even sure if the creators realize how deep they have made this world. With every layer of this multiverse that we uncover we find ourselves deeply feeling the characters struggles and fates. We deleted hours of work on a Spiral because we thought oh no Im not betraying her! The worlds are beautiful, combat fun and deeply engaging, but you can either play it light or play it like a strategy fan. We love the characters and their art and the broad range of unique abilities and traits. Some battles we found ourselves just pausing when something really amazing happened and we thought Wow what an amazing game. Dont get us started on the Spiral Event with all the Plant Buddies, fighting a battle with fifteen powered up glowing superflowers was one of the most fun things Ive ever played. And the music, it speaks for itself. It, like the game, took the old and the new and made it something epic.
Love it. FFT and FE plus TS vibes.
We came in with pretty low expectations. We assumed this was going to be another mid-teir gacha game with just enough gameplay to not be classified as a slot machine. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The combat is a top-down style, something Ive never seen before in mobile games of this kind. It also requires a degree of strategy and the combat is actually very enjoyable to take part in. But our favorite part are the chronicles, which uses the combat youve come accustomed to and puts you in charge of protecting a town and managing your troops. This section is easily the best part of the game sense it has ZERO pay-to-win, ads, or waiting. Is this the best game Ive ever played? No. Is this the best free mobile game Ive ever played? Yes.
Music is fantastic. You can pay for stuff but we never felt like we needed to. Story is really robust, choices have multiple paths and consequences. Really a lovely game. Spent way too much time trying to beat the main story, will go back and beat it again with another faction soon. 10/10.
Please translate it into Spanish.
Has two modes, one of which is a highly replayable campaign, with multiple paths and endings, which is somewhat isolated (though not completely so) from gacha mechanics. The other main part of the game is more integrated with gacha and is more combat and progression oriented. Most fights are beatable by highly skilled F2P accounts but obviously whales/spenders will have an advantage. Strategy is required no matter your spending level as you get further in either mode. The art is really good and the music is fantastic.
So far so good Im really enjoying the environment building from voice actors to characters and game mechanics but hey it got us thinking what if there was a random maze ruin later in development that can be accessed once a day with stair cases and other various contraptions featuring various pieces of breath taking game art and if you make it far enough you could obtain some nic nacs art lore all viewable on a collage just by clicking an arrow to shuffle through alright all that came to mind right we hope you continue to create more of this game much love and best of Luck.
This is the closest to FFT that you can get currently. The theming is fantastic, the characters have depth, the gatcha mechanics are relatively fair, and the single player is amazing for a gatcha. Definitely worth your time, especially for those looking to rekindle their strategy rpg flame.
Hands down greatest RPG out right now on mobile. Tactics or otherwise.
This is far and away the best game Ive ever played on mobile, and in fact one of the best games Ive ever played of all time, period. A spiritual successor to Final Fantasy Tactics, its a tactical RPG with modern elements such as a GACHA system, online content and rankings, convenient quality-of-life features, and tons and tons of hours of perpetual event and story content. The strategies, team building, and stories are gripping and immersive. Its incredible how much heart the devs put into this game, and the playerbase is very enthusiastic. Ive played for many dozens of hours and continue to love it. Couldnt recommend it more.
As a fan of FF Tactics, this game has filled a void for us that other tactical RPGs have not. The controls feel intuitive for a mobile game. We enjoy the characters and the different stories. The developers consistently update the game. It has kept our interest from day one.
Ive been playing Sword of Convallaria since the very beginning, and we can confidently sayits one of the best games Ive ever experienced. What sets it apart is how it respects your time, your strategy, and your attachment to characters. You cant brute-force your way through everything. The difficulty curve ramps up in a way that makes every victory feel earned, and thats something rare in mobile gaming. What we really love is how you can use any unitcopper, silver, goldand with enough dedication, you can make even the lowest-tier characters viable for hard content. Youre not locked into chasing only the strongest meta units. You can build a dream team around characters you actually like. And yes, chasing meta can be fun toosome of the mechanics and playstyles in this game are so unique and creative, its a joy just to explore how new units synergize with your team. The devs are insanely smart with character design. Summoners, tanks, nukers, DOT teams, turtle comps, long-range stratsits all there. And they give you real reasons to build out your entire roster. Backup squads matter. You might need a team to hold the line, weaken bosses, or survive while your main damage dealers move in. You dont just use five unitsyou use your whole collection. Progression feels amazing. You work on your units, you get the right gear, and suddenly a character just clicksthey come to life with a new edge that takes them to the next level. Add in beautiful pixel art and stunning environments, and it becomes more than a game. Some of the levels are so gorgeous we genuinely wish we could live in themor at least have them as live wallpapers on our phone. Cozy tents, flowing water, nature-filled stagesjust sitting and admiring the scenery is a whole vibe. And when its time to get serious? The boss designs are epic. The story mode is so much more than a typical gacha throwaway plot. It has branching paths, multiple factions, decisions that actually change the story. You can fight in a war, or become a merchant and change the world through trade. And if thats not enough, theres a whole multiverse-scale storyline called The Fools Journey, where your favorite characters team up across realities to fight calamity-level threats. Its insane in the best way. And we cant skip over how the villains are written. Some of the so-called bad guys have layers you wouldnt expect. They feel human. You learn who they are, why they do what they do, and sometimeswhy you might even agree with them. That kind of writing sticks with you. Lets talk game modesthere are tons. And they all give your characters a purpose. Different types of battles (survive, escape, defend, kill targets, protect allies, stop enemies from fleeing), unique objectives, puzzles, and proper endgame content that rewards strategy, not just brute force. And the devs? Super generous. Free characters, skins, pullswithout spending a dime, Ive built a cracked-out team that competes with anyone. You can spend money if you want, but its not required to enjoy the full experience. Honestly, if we had spare cash, Id gladly support them just for how much love and effort theyve poured into this game. Each character even has a skill tree, ultimate abilities, and gorgeous animations. You can build them your way. The game even lets you test new units before deciding to roll for them. More gacha games should take notes. This is the one game we come back to every day after work or whenever we have downtime. Triple-A games have given us less joy than this has. Its deep, rewarding, beautiful, and endlessly fun. Sword of Convallaria is a game Ill be playing for a long, long time.
If youre a fan of FFT-style games, give this one a try. It has great depth of strategy that moves the tactical RPG genre forward.
Honestly, not too geared towards whales unless youre super into PVP. Its like as if Tactics Ogre and FF Tactics had a baby. Ive been looking for a game like this for years.
Love this game, our favorite gacha.
This game has two aspects. One is your standard GOCHA with a bit of tactics built on. Use Energy to fight through a string of levels. Standard fare nowadays. But the tactics element is better thought out than most games so it would get five stars for that alone. The best part of this game is that there is another game inside where you fight week by week through a story. A good story. That part is fantastic. That part is original and fun and not gate-kept by the annoying energy nonsense mobile games always have to prevent you from playing. You can progress fine for free to play. The second game within a game is very good period. The first more standard part of the game is very good for a mobile game.
Ive done everything it wont let us play it loads but randomly it goes back and forth 49 59 51 49 we hate it pls fix tgis we beg to play tgis game pls.
Bought a pack for $5, never received our in game currency. Reached out to customer support and on their end they claimed we had received it. We told them if it didnt get fixed we would report it to Apple for a refund. They never fixed it, customer support wasnt very helpful and took multiple days to respond. Apple refunded our purchase and once customer support realized that happened they deducted our account -300 claiming we were lying about receiving in game currency. We uninstalled. Great game terrible service, if youre going to purchase things be careful.
We love the game but for some reason it causes our device to run very warm after playing for only 10-15 minutes. Ive played other graphic intense games without our devices heating up this much so we dont understand what the issue is with Sword of Convallaria. Devs need to address this issue.
