Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

We really love this game but suddenly cant seem to get past login screen on our iPad. Tried restarting reinstalling etc help.

Although the graphics, artwork and mechanics are great, the fact is the game is a little confusing and unbalanced. The lack of good powerful magics is rampant in this game. Also, we have no clue how to beat Keegan. It doesnt matter how much we try, we dont understand what specifically needs to be upgraded to beat him. The game doesnt help you. It seems like that is the end of the game or something. Idk but we give up trying to beat him.

Action RPGs are probably our favorite type of game and we love this. The loot is generous. And theres no pressure to spend a lot of money. We got the season pass because we were having so much fun. Looking forward to trying all the characters out.

Absolute great game the only mobile game we spend money on.

Played a lot of games like this, but the pricing in this game is crazy. Just seem like these people want money.

Crazy fun, crafting, character design and progression are awesome.

Bloody Mary ruins all fun of the new league. Playing this game is now insufferable.

This is a amazing game. A storyline that progresses well throughout the game and a good gameplay to match.

We dont understand how this game gets such a bad rep. Sure there is is some microtransactions but you still need to play the game a lot to even make use of the p2w aspect. There is so much to do in this game and we come back every season and level through maps. If you are really an arpg enjoyer this is one of the very best you can get on the phone. The level of build customization is deep and the gear system is even more substantial. Props to making such an enjoyable iOS game while most other devs clearly do pay to win garbage with zero substance.

Just wanted to say great job overall 10/10. Game runs smooth and physics are awesome. Gameplay is crisp like console. We just started am low level but will see. Enjoying it all could be great for a second one would love to see some modifications and improvements if there was a second. Game has potential to be a Diablo like or major game with some changes. Still awesome.

(it was) So close to perfect. It was a 4.5 but otherwise for a free game that (previously did not have) any iap paywalls, this (did) blow away any other action rpg. (edits, June 2025). The game has turned into a complete money grab. Each season just seeks to introduce new mechanics that need new pets ($). The following season, anything that remotely was fun or profitable gets nerfed so you have to buy the new items in order to play at the same level.

Be prepared to grind for FE crafting equipment got expensive, losing interest in this game. Grind grind for few upgrades then equipment fails upgrading is very frustrating and off to grind again for very low drop rates FE. Raiding requires resources and time, gold is required but more grinding. Game is great but grinding takes out fun repetitive gameplay.

If you enjoy blasting and POE 1 end game then install and enjoy. 3 hour campaign and weeks worth of endgame content. Insane game and will continue to play every season now.

We play on a pc which makes it way better of a experience. Of course we would say the same for the mobile phone version but it fails every time we load it up and start playing.

The prices on skins and packs are just absurd. The game is good but if you dont want to see your character look the same you have to pay $25 for 2% chance to get a skin you like?!!! Greedy and makes D4 look good. Stop being greedy with your prices they are insane.

One of the best mobile games we have played in a very long time. Also extremely happy it isnt a p2w game.

We've always enjoyed ARPG games and this is a great addition to the genre. We thought it would be P2W but so far im not seeing any of that, its just pay for cosmetics. The games a lot like POE.

5/5 even as a f2p player it's a great game an story as well.

One moment im looking for a new game and next thing we know im 60% to lvl 24 and our phone gives us a 20% battery warning. Story is encapsulating. Animations are simple but fantastic. Skills are endless. And so far nothing is locked behind a paywall 11/10 games. Good job Devs.

We are addicted to this game this is the best game ever its a very similar game to Path of Exile we would one hundred percent recommend you play this game.

Never too hard but addictive fun to play.

Im a console gamer, a fan of Elden Ring, Monster Hunter, final fantasy, and PoE. Ive been casually coming back to this game since alpha, every time its more polished with more QoL and mechanics. Not since Genshin have we played such a quality mobile game, and it smokes the other mobile arpgs. We actually really recommend this game.

Scratches that crawling loot itch on mobile way better than any others we've found and we don't even care that they have added in so much other garbage to suite the mobile market. It feels and plays great when all we've got is our phone. Only a few hours in so maybe still in honeymoon phase.

This kinda has an Eternium vibe to it. More than a button masher game and theres no auto mode to ruin it either. Interesting story, but not so much dialog that it takes you out of the game. Well done folks. Definitely not P2W, but we had to toss some cash their way just to say thanks.

When game zero was invented Dr/Miss Vincent was the only programmer capable of doing so single handed , specifically with their left hand.

Honestly, theres been a lot of effort put into this game. Wasnt sure at first but man was we wrong lol. Characters have totally different play styles BUT you can also tweak some things to your liking. There are tons of different skills you can pick to particularly fit the fight style youre going with. Hella excited to see where this goes! Update: Still playing since Beta. Its still good N getting better.

Our wife and we play it casually and its been a great time.

The Devs constantly update the game with new content. Smooth and rewarding gameplay! Tons of build possibilities. If youre a fan of games like Path of Exile you need to give this one a shot.

Game is great! Best cross platform game in its genre. And number 2 in its genre overall. And Im frickin playing it from our phone! Great controls and interface for mobile. Amazing game.

Lots of fun great addition to the Torchlight saga! Im very pick our on mobile games and it is kinda built on the Genshin Impact feel. There is a gacha system as most mobile games now but they dont feel as required. The Pact system is interesting and is where most of the Gacha resides minus some cosmetics. Give it a try.

The pets and cosmetic are things you can buy but pets only minimally impact game and cosmetics are look only.

Super fluid great characters having fun so far.

Plays great on mobile. Very entertaining and fun to play. Some micro transactions are way too expensive.

The story is struggling. Gameplay is simple thus far. Its still rewarding/satisfying, but as a level 20 player we find ourselves often lost & confused about mechanics and story alike. Was a huge Torchlight fan though, so Ill keep trying.

This is fun. Helps take our mind off the games we want to be playing while on vacation.

All the torchlight games had multiplayer, every ARPG we have played has had multiplayer? Why was this something that was not included at launch? Game is fun but whats the point without friends.

We like the pace of play and ease of customization of skills and attributes.

We cant get the game to finish downloading. It will restart if we change to another app and wont download in the background. Have had to restart several times.

We dont like most mobile games, but this is one of the games we can actually play and like for a long time. We honestly would say that this is a really good game and you should probably download it but we dont care what you do, but this is a really good game.

We love this game it has plenty abilities and opportunities for the player.

Im more used to playing PC games we played the first and second Torchlight those were really good especially since there was a bit of a vacuum in the genre D3 was pretty bad initially. It took some getting used to playing a mobile game but after about Id say a couple of hours its been pretty intuitive. We do think that there is a too much going on. We think Im just a simple person. We guess we just like the original style of a ARPGs having very few quests and just a basic talent tree maybe some points to put into stats. But this game they really automated a lot of that process and they allowed the option to skip cut scenes or explanations of things that we really just dont care about. It would be nice if there was a basic fee for the game so that maybe some more funding could have gone to dialogue and quests. Id rather have fewer cut scenes much fewer quests-just a short very well written story. The overall gameplay the pace. Combat and the ability to clear the stash without having to go back to town is about about as perfect as it can get in our opinion the characters are cool abilities and their animations are cool. We cant believe its free to play we feel guilty we will buy something from the store just to support the game. We do see the point in making the game free. For someone like us who really hasnt played mobile games it was pretty off putting for the initial hour that we played, it, took some getting used to but Im glad we gave it a shot.

Torchlight only better than ever with a story like never before.

Easy to understand and extensive end game content.

The largest point of contention is the need to download everything before gameplay. We have been attempting to log in and play and Im unable. We have to stay in the download screen or it stops. Currently its reporting excessive times for the first of several levels. This needs to be a background download once permission is given. The game is sound and very fun to play. Reminiscence of Borderlands games and enjoyable. Just address this issue.

Lore makes no sense, or its lacking just like the previous 3 games, but its mindless fun.

It reminds us of Diablo 2 how no 2 people make the same choices in makeing there people so much fun.

Ive been playing this game for about 4 days and Ive made some impressive process on this game, genuinely we dont like mobile games but Ive been playing this game very intensely, if you want to try a loot and monster killing game, play this.

So far its a great game. Been enjoying it. Like that we can play it on our pc as well and it looks and runs way better. Overall enjoying it thus far.
