As of January 2023 there are no technical issues with this part or the first one. The story is beautiful, as are all the images despite significant the age of the game. Love it, recommend to everyone.
Love the sequel, improves a lot upon the original gameplay wise. For some reason, the game isn’t optimized visually for iPhone 5 resolution, hopefully that’ll be fixed.
The graphics are amazing! Music is fabulous! Enjoy it for this if nothing else! Game play is fun and challenging. Highly recommend, can’t wait for #3.
Not one game stopping glitch on our 2017 iPad. Arrows arent always visible on the screen so just keep going left or right and they will show up. A wonderful game. So, when is Syberia 3 on iOS coming out? Hurry!
This was very well done. We enjoyed it, especially on a rainy afternoon. It’s hard to find good point and click adventure games in the App Store and this is a good one. We can’t wait for the third one to come out! We’re downloading it again. We completed both the 1st & 2nd Syberia games almost a year ago and we keep looking for more like them but none can match it. Hurry up with the 3rd one please!! Our kids and we are waiting!! Thank you!!!

We have played this series and loved it. However, a small problem happened. We are on the scene when Kate has to cut loose the passenger cart and the panel is supposed to open but is not. Please help. Thank you.
Absolutely enjoying this game… However, coins from right most candy machine only appear in the inventory until first use on left most candy machine since it used all of them. None are left for middle candy machine. Is there some other way to get the fish candy?
We started video and recalled that we played this version on pc. We tried to find how get our refund cancel app.
This is an engaging game. Unfortunately crashes a lot on iPad Pro iPad so 14.6.
Great game, but two things bug us. 1st why Oscar had to sacrifice himself for that selfish Hans? We really didn’t get the idea. And second why the poor youki was trapped in a cage? It was simply so sad.
We are having a problem with fixing the horses in the guesthouse every time we speak with the innkeeper about the horses ( its after pressing the word horses) it just stops nothing to press so we have to restart the scene over. Its a good game though.
Solid game overall, If you like point and click adventure games. There was a small glitch at the very end, we were able to use the horn without solving the glyph puzzle to get the key first.
Both have disappeared after the dream portion of the game. :( it hard to keep going we dont know where to click on the screen.
Fun game but the app crashes almost every ten minutes. We have to keep redoing things we’ve already done because it only saves every so often.

We played the original PC Syberia. Loved it. Is it possible after quite a few years that no further effort was made to update the game play? Point and click from here to there….. Really? Slow moving, reading of dialogue by selecting it. Graphics not bad but this game is behind the times.
We played years ago on PC and thought it would be fun to play on iPad. Siberia was just as entertaining, but Syberia 2 is very glitchy. As previous posts have mentioned, the heart and horse part freezes. The clock part also freezes the screen and crashes. The program crashed constantly, but we were determined to finish. The ending was also glitchy and crashed many times while we were trying to solve the puzzle. A suggestion – with the PC version, we were able to save anywhere, but the app version does not have a save option. It was frustrating to repeat sections because we had to close the program.
Syberia 2’s graphics mix the sublime and the ridiculous. Kate looks good even by today’s standards; nearly everyone else looks awful. They’re not simply unattractive: they’re grotesquely misproportioned, often to the point of cartoonish absurdity. Next to Kate’s slim, trim figure, they look even worse. But the scenery is sumptuous. The rundown outpost of Romansburg is appropriately seedy; the windswept, snowy forest could make one chilly on a hot summer day; and the monastery buildings have all the beauty and charm of Valadilene in Syberia 1. Music and sound effects are fine. Most of the voice acting is rather plodding, but Kate’s actress has a pleasant voice and fine delivery. The writing is poor. The choice of who handles tokens for shrouds makes no sense given the backstory. The monastery patriarch can’t decide whether he thinks Hans is a dangerous influence on Kate or Kate is a dangerous influence on Hans. Colonel Emiliov can’t decide whether he has nothing to do or is too busy to talk. In Syberia 1, Kate develops from a rather timid girl into a confident woman; Syberia 2 has no character development. In Syberia 1, the professors had a reason not to share everything they’re up to; in Syberia 2, a monk withholds key information for no discernible reason. In Syberia 1, Kate’s unsympathetic employer Mr. Marson showed little appreciation for her and threatened to fire her at one point; in Syberia 2, he’s frantic, meeting advisors, calling Kate to beg her to return, and hiring a detective to go to Russia to search for her, which can’t be cheap. He goes from complete indifference to acting like he’s searching for his long lost daughter all because Kate’s mother is fussing? Kate’s an adult; if she decides to quit her job to jaunt about Russia, Marson & Lormont Associates isn’t responsible for bringing her home. As lawyers, they should know that; they should also know how to deal with irate but ineffectual people making empty threats. Gameplay leaves much to be desired. The next step is often an object or person added to a previously visited area with no in-game indication that there’s a reason to return. Find a walkthrough, or be prepared to retrace your steps. Frequently. Instead of interacting with objects, Kate typically advances through the game by exploring all conversation paths with all characters until she triggers a character action. There aren’t many puzzles, and too many are arbitrary inventory puzzles in the vein of apply-lampshade-to-bulldozer. One "puzzle" with 4 possible solutions has no clues for which is correct, because it’s whichever one you try last. Little gameplay lends itself to logic in problem solving. Furthermore, for many puzzles, entering a possible solution and testing it is separated by lengthy travel, slow-running animations, or tedious conversations you can’t bypass. Conversations have no pause. Once a conversation starts, if you must set down your device to answer the door, let the dog in, or check on a crying baby, you miss the conversation, sometimes with no way to replay it other than restarting the entire game. There are glitches. We had to restart after the game let us do something out of sequence with the mechanical horses, and crashes cost us progress. The first star is mandatory. We gave another for the scenery and another for Kate’s character design and voice acting, and the occasional moment of humor or pathos.
This game is glitchier than Syberia 1 on our iPad. Specifically, sometimes we will have to walk in and out of a scene multiple times in order to get the dialog box we need. Walk in, ask question. Questions depleted. Walk out, walk back in, more questions available. Its annoying when we are 100% certain the dialog should be there. We also get hooked up when we walk fairly frequently when is frustrating. We have to pull her back and try walking again or reload. Otherwise, fun game.
Im trying to get the lemming into the tunnel. We’ve already put the cork in the lower bottom hole, then scared the harfang with the prayer wheel, but the lemming wont move. How do we fix this glitch?

Cannot locate brothers in Romansbourg (no arrow to click on). We cannot continue playing until this is resolved.
There’s a glitch in the app. After the monastery, when we tried to install the mechanical heart to the horse, we can’t talk to Mr Cirkos anymore. When we asked him about the horse, he can’t answer us and the game just stay there. Please help and update. Thank you.
Whoever did conversion from PC to mobile was very lazy. Screens don’t fit properly navigation is bad … Dissapointiong.
We can’t get past the mechanical horses. They are all bucking so the heart is connected but the animation doesn’t start and we’re stuck. Any suggestions?
Cirkos won’t speak and gameplay halts when "horses" is selected in convo, when you are connecting the mechanical heart to the horse machine.
Love the game but could not get to shroud the game shuts down every time and when you reopen it you have to restart by talking to malka you just replay that part over and over.
Bad port. Crashes constantly. Ended up deleting it.
We just finished horses puzzle but nothing happens and picking ‘Horses’ from conversation with Cirkos just does nothing. Could you guys please solve this issue? We’re playing it for upcoming Syberia 3 and we won’t buy the new game if we can’t go any further.
Game is not the same quality as the first one. Ok graphics, and it got stoked at the very end.
The game is fun, but unlike the first installment, this one crashes frequently on the latest iPad. Still in the first area we have crashed to desktop at least 20 times. It appears that the locations are random. We played through the first game on the same device with minimal issues.
We hope the developers read this, because we really love this game, but unlike Syberia 1, this new edition runs on a tiny window on our iPhone X screen and doesnt use the full space available. Really annoying. We couldnt get past the initial introductory film and had to stop until we find a resolution to this.

Played for a day, v boring, wander around and around the monastery, whatever was supposed to trigger does not. We’re an adult and game is infuriatingly slow for us. We’ve never asked to be refunded for an app before but we would like one please.
We download this game because it came up as free, started the game and instantly hated it. We have no idea why we are being charged $5 now.
This game used to be our go-to for fun, relaxing storyline, puzzles and interactions. Now both Syberia and Syberia 2 are almost impossible to play on any iPhone or iPad Mini. (I have older ones that we use for testing and the newest ones for comparison.) The tap interactions dont work and the game isnt isnt responding to the area youve tapped for the character to move to. This wasnt a problem a month ago and we dont know what happened. We do know this has become frustrating and unplayable on all our devices (even Mac) and we are getting sick and tired of paying for something that isnt maintained for any length of time. Syberia 3 has been out for awhile in Mac/PC but theres still no iOS app. Thats what makes us wonder if the dev is even developing anymore. We dont know and the dev doesnt respond to our messages or attempts to contact them through their own contact us method.
After hours of playing the game, there is a glitch that prevents us from getting the heart for the automaton horses. No way to continue the game.
Dont have a Russian language in game.
We would give Syberia 2 more stars, but the game crashes on our ipad. Until it is fixed, we wouldn’t suggest buying this game.
