Gameplay Description
You control a little cat inspired my a popular Japanese emoji. You task is to save the world from the troll chicken who was turned the world's inhabitants evil. There are a lot of traps placed in places you wouldn't expect. You will fail a lot, but finally clearing a level feels so good.
The gameplay is in the style of old platformers, but a lot more coordination is required and the jumps need to be perfectly timed. If you played other rage games you should be just fine.
Syobon Action (known as "Cat Mario" or "Neko Mario") is a Jump 'n' Run Game parody. The traps are different from what you would expect from a jump and run game. Skill and a bit of imagination are needed and nerves of steel because it can be frustrating at times (which makes the game so addicting).
Syobon Action was created by a Japanese developer named ちく (Chiku) over the course of three days in February of 2007. The game was inspired by a flash game titled The Big Adventure of a Dead End Life (人生ｵﾜﾀ＼(^o^)／の大冒険 Jinsei Owata no Daibōken?),which was often played by members on the text board 2chan.
Syobon Action 2 HD expands on the original and brings a new adventure for you to enjoy.

This game is a rage game, which means you die a lot. So what does the developer do? He makes it so that if you die more than twenty times, you have to watch an ad to get a checkpoint. Not just a short ad, but a thirty second unskippable ad! This was a reason why it took us a while to beat, and if you dont want to watch all those ads, you of course have to pay money.
When you click on it, the app icon starts bouncing up and down, and not only does it not stop, but the app doesn't even open.
We cant even get past level one! Best game ever.
When we were able to beat the first level we felt very accomplished warning: this game is a big troll lol and we very enjoyed it.
We started playing after the Unity3D update. The graphics look beautiful, but the levels are just as torturing as what Syobon Action is known for lol.
Interesting but it can definitely trigger someone for dying most of the time.
This game is one of our favorite games and you will love it (if you have the patience).
This is by far one of the best games we've ever played. Its like a memory/platformer game! It's up there with Minecraft, Super Mario and Tricky Pipes! We've been speed running this game; all levels in a row without dying, if we die, we delete the save file! Seriously though, this is one of the best games ever! (we also made a Super Kitty Super Mario Maker level, here's the level ID: 71C7-0000-00EC-A26A).
If you delete the app after dying less than 10 times, you might take your gaming (and/or yourself) too seriously. What a humbling set of pranks this game is. You will die. A lot. It's great. Minus one star for some minor bugs, like in app purchases not working after multiple installs. No clear way in app or on their website to contact the devs. Very good. Recommended.

We play it, it's fun and all our friends love it. It needs more levels we beat it in 3 days.

This is not the kind of game you simply play. This is a joke. A really long joke with loads of punch lines, all of which you must memorize. Depending upon your mood, you will either hate it or love it. We thought it hilarious how everything was rigged to make us lose! We laughed through our whole game! This is also a prank: give it to a friend and watch them fail everywhere you failed. So the gameplay isn't awesome. The graphics aren't superb. But the game itself is genius. Great job and make more levels.
It's an extremely hard game, but it's also a very fun game! We love it.

People are just butthurt that they can't beat it it's not impossible it's just hard, like dark souls type hard.
Incredible game concept, like impossible Mario. We love it! Controls could be customizable (bigger or smaller). Also, controls should be made that you can "swipe" between forward and back and it would actually work. Right now if you swipe from one direction to the other it doesn't work. You need to actually press the button by releasing your finger first. Another thing is the continue button. It doesn't work (yes we got credits!) Besides all these there are some other things that can improve. But very good game! Love it.

This game is designed to make you die repeatedly. It gets old fast and the occasional bug does not help.
Graphics looked awesome so we purchased the add free in-app purchase of $2.99, soon thereafter we realized that this game is a pointless repetitive game that is near impossible. We do have to say that we have indeed wasted our $2.99. Pathetic.
