We finished it in day and enjoyed every second. It has great visuals and and we love the characters. We hope they make sequel. Also do Not use the centaurs. The centaurs are not balanced and it is impossible to defeat them unless you get lucky.

T&H is a heartwarming vignette of support, anxiety, growth, and companionship. It tells a short story in a delightful art style not regularly displayed in video games, and the core gameplay loop reflects the storys motives well. After some trial and error youll find a groove with the system and youll be able to integrate new mechanics into your play without struggle. Not long after that the game will end and youll be happy to have given it the few hours of your attention it asks. This is the kind of game that justifies our Apple Arcade subscription. A short, easy, story-based claymation game designed for iPhones? We never would have considered purchasing T&H. But instead we could just download and try it out of curiosity. Im happy we did, and Im willing to bet you will too.

It is just so good best story best game.

We came for the gameplay and stayed for the story. Beautiful cutscenes. Highly recommended.

The story was short, but it was good for while it last. The gameplay was different and somewhat fun. One challenge we did while playing this game was lasting 1-5 health points while defeating the monsters. Overall, we recommend this to anyone who enjoy stories and have a short amount of time in their hands. Probably only took us 5hrs to beat.

The story and visuals are fantastic and one of a kind. Sadly, the gameplay and in particular battles are dull and uninspired. It would have been more satisfying to have traditional JRPG battles rather than this. Other than that, very good!

The game is super fun! And we love the story so much we dont get it when the older brother blushes and so does the guy with green hair (I forgot their names) when the girl said it was getting hot in there. We dont know what the blushing either means theyre embarrassed or mad or they like each other or something. So we WANT MORE CHAPTERS PLEASE!! The game is soooooooooo short. Theres literally only 7 or 8 chapters. But overall the game is AMAZING. Sorry for the short review.

We really really loved this game so much we wanna be a game designer and this game inspires us to be a game designer even more we really loved it made us cry a little it was sad we loved the characters Please make a part 2 where Takeshi gets famous please please make a part two we cried and now we really wanna be a game designer Im gonna play it again. We really cried man what an amazing story about a game designers life we reallly realllly enjoyed this the animation its almost like a book and a video game put together it was realistic omg everything about was just so good this game really connects to us in our life we have asthma we love playing video games,I wanna make video games and we wanna be famous to do this game connects to us what a Great game 100/100.

This game has a unique art style, with a playful tone. The story is good. The gameplay could of been a bit more complex.

We recently joined Apple Arcade and just happened to stumble across this game here. It was an absolute treat and almost made joining Apple Arcade worth it by itself. The game is super fun, with a rpg mechanic of sorts and an auto combat(kind of) the game isnt super hard but the levels near the end are challenging enough to give a few game overs. The story was A+ in the way it was told. Effort and time and heart was poured into this game and we had so much fun. Our only gripe that we could honestly give would be that its a little on the short side. A dedicated player could easily finish this in maybe 3-4 hours. But thats about the only complaint we have. Otherwise we heavily enjoyed our time with this one. 10/10.

Tells a fantastic story with some really new gameplay, although not the deepest system of gameplay, it was new and a fun take on turn based games that wasnt to long to the point where we were bored of the system, boss battle was awesome.

They wanted to make a short animated story. They added a slow and boring game to it. Not fun. Needs quicker and more engaging gameplay.

If youre looking for an intense RPG with lots of action, you wont find it here. What you will find is a Beautiful story about two brothers. One whos only goal is to make his frail little bro smile. The gameplay is secondary to this awesome story, and must be experienced to fully appreciate it. Give it a try. Its a great way to relax and experience something different. We bet you find something to love about it!

Please make more to this game loved the story!!

Absolutely amazing story gameplay is fun and challenging.

Someone help!!! We cant get past ch. 1…

What a sweet little game! It took us around 2 hours to beat it. The star of the show were definitely the stop motion animation and sound effects. Everything was so cute and charming, even though the story was pretty simple, the detail and execution was so top notch, the whole thing just shone! The actual gameplay was a little tedious at times but the idea behind it, the fact that you have to control the level of difficulty manually in order for Hiroshi to really enjoy the game… A warm thought turned into a unique game mechanism, it really worked for us, kudos!

This is a great game like when you are first playing it it is really fun but after youve played it it gets boring. So we feel like you should make a sandbox mode where it has unlimited rounds and you can change the monsters stats. Also you can make as many monsters as you like. And once you click a monster button it reloads with a random monster. Like if you click a button with a orc on it it would become a button with a random monster or mage spell on it but you would still have an orc in your army. Also if you get 14 monsters all in a row there would be 2 separate waves of 6 monsters and one wave at the end of 2 monsters. We hope you make it an update because Im feeling like it would be very fun.

We SWEAR we PUT WIZARDS ATTACK BEFORE A MONSTER AND DOES NOT ACTIVATE so we ask, please fix it.

In this game, there are no choices to give you. Its a one-way game. This game talks about a couple of brothers. (I want a handsome cute brother too ) The big brother makes the game which is what we play maybe we can call this game is a kind of mathematics. It needs you to calculate how to up the little brother’s interest. Each monster has different parameters, so you have to do the math to make his interest up to 500. Have to say, the big brother is so prejudiced and self-conscious. His classmates try to help him but he refuses them rudely. All in all, this is a good story, but not a good game.

This is more of a story than a game. The game mechanism is fairly simple, once you found the know-how, the level is quite easy to beat. But the story is a touching one. A elder brother makes a game to motivate his younger sibling and make him happy. We cant help to image that maybe theres real life story behind the game. Besides the gameplay is a weak part for this game, theres another unusual approach. Therere 4 different art styles existing in this game. It is not too much of a problem, but it will cause some exception issues. For instance, the game starts with a 3D cut sense to tell a story. Then as a player, our exception will be this should be a 3D game. But when it goes to the battle, it actually is a 2D one. From our personal experience at the time, we are surprised and slightly disappointed. Besides that, the main menu uses doodle style and 8-bit pixel for menu items. It adds more visual misalignment from our point of view. For the lovers of this game, we dont think they will not care about the drawbacks we mentioned. Because the story and great cut senses are the key motivation to them. But for common gamers, this game might bore you quickly.

We really like the look and feel of this game and the story is quite touching. The game mechanic itself is kind of a gambling simulator where you basically bet on how many monsters you can survive. Its not really our cup of tea and makes progress a bit of a slog but still an admirable presentation thats sure to delight a lot of people.

We were really interested to follow the story but the gameplay is so boring we just dont have the patience.

A game in which there is no enthusiasm, suspense, or anything. A very bad game. It needs to be fully developed in terms of personalities and personal assistants because the character alone is not suitable for good. The game has been erased until it is developed for the best idea.

We want to love this game. We really do. The story is great and we want to see the ending but the gameplay is so boring that we cant finish it. The problem is the gameplay just isnt engaging enough. We got to chapter 4 and unlocked 2 abilities and like 6 monsters but half of them just arent fun to use. For instance, Erikagoyles use their ability too frequently to be useful. Never place 2 of them because her screech is like a 50% chance to use and it stuns you, so 2 of them will just stunlock you into oblivion. Plus on the first level we noticed when we restarted at the torch, we were only doing level 1 damage despite being level 3. Its such a cute story but we just cant bare to finish it.

Great game, but does not save our data so we have to start from chapter 1 everytime we close the app. Using an iPhone 8 Plus.

The game is fun until chapter six then it collapses into a cesspool. There is no game here. There are admittedly nice cut scenes. But the game is nothing more than making some battle selections and letting the rng play out. The problem is you can make the exact same selections and either do well or poorly. The further problem is both doing poorly and well costs you, you have to aim for mediocre battle results which again you have little to no control over. We hope Apple pulls this one off the App Store.

We couldnt finish playing. We gave up after many tries. Good story. Bad gameplay. Theres a bug in the chapter 7 torch that kept resetting our score to 226 (even though we had earned more) if we restored to the torch reset point – which isnt enough to finish successfully. Also, the one time we were able to make it to the dragon in one single run, the dragon was unbeatable with a level 9 hero.

The gameplay (a risk vs reward RPG-lite) isnt much on its own, but when paired with the animated story sequences about friendship, sibling bonds and perseverance, a melting pot of perfection presents itself. While decidedly short, it is the perfect type of interactive experience for a service like Apple Arcade. It respects your time and packs a relatable story punch for anyone who has a sibling. We really like this type of experimentation on the platform and hope to see more of it!

We got so addicted to it that when ever we thought of playing another game we always think no after this story play or battle. But there are sometimes sad parts in it too. We love this game so much! Very addictive and heartwarming too.

This game was great we beat it in one day it was super addicting and it had a great story no glitches, no problems, nothing it was a super great game.

We got a great game idea for our brother!!! Also very fun.

An interesting spin on a normal rpg where the goal here is to be the adversary to your brother and get him to win, but with remaining hp low as possible by sending different monsters at him.

Its good in our opinion. But there are some things that could improve. For example, we finished chapter two and left the game. The next day we come back and we have to start chapter one all over again.

We enjoyed this game well enough up until the last level, when it just became too random and tedious and we gave up; according to other reviews, we didnt miss much. Regardless, its kind of interesting to see a game that is basically about game testing.

Every time we leave the game and start playing again it starts from the beginning and Im back on chapter one. It doesnt allow us to skip to a previously completed chapter although we go to the chapters menu and try to select it.

You cant Battle you just sit there Watching a battle like you cant fight too.

We love the story and the gameplay. Wish it was a little longer we were really enjoying it.

Its cute and beautiful. We think its amazing work.

This game is pretty short. Beat in it about two hours lounging around this weekend. Its gameplay was challenging and fun, but its story made it really shine. Its a lighthearted story but with a lot of depth that actually left us thinking about it after we were done; something we never thought a mobile game would make us do. Its gameplay was captivating. It has its flaws in that if youre shooting for high scores it takes as much luck as it does skill, but for a casual gamer just looking to clear the level it can be fun and exciting trying to come up with the right solution to make it through each chapter. We encourage all to give this a couple hours of your time, and hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

One of the best games we’ve ever played.

Cool game, Ill admit we got pretty upset when we were on the 5th encounter and died especially on the later chapters. One annoying thing is the erikagoyle can scream twice in a row sometimes even more! Obviously never set this monster out!

Its definitely worth trying the gameplay portions, and please do give Apple any metrics that would help profit the developers, but once you get the idea you might be better served by watching the cutscenes elsewhere. Theyre really great. One little nitpick though, the ending felt a little abrupt. There was a problem Takeshi was looking to solve that kinda just disappeared without mention.

The plot is sweet, with a sick brother who needs cheering up, and a budding romance strengthen over coding a game. One cool aspect is that you are supposed to be coding this game you are playing, and you act as a dungeon master of sorts. However, the gameplay is incredibly boring. Limited choices to make, and lots of auto play turn based battles to watch. We agree with what others have said – play only long enough to get the idea, then watch the cutscenes elsewhere.
