A Glimpse into Talmud Quest

Talmud Quest was created to help students master the key terms of the Gemorah.

The terms are taken from The Students Guide to Talmud with the permission of its author of blessed memory, Rabbi Aryeh Carmel z"l and Feldheim Publishers.

The 350 terms of the game represent the fundamental operating vocabulary used in Shas.
Mastering these terms will give a student the ability to easily embark upon his great journey through the Sea of Talmud.

It is my hope that Talmud Quest will make memorising these key terms easy and enjoyable.

Wishing you much success in learning!

  4. We’ve added a button to reset the progress section.
  5. When a word is answered correctly, you now progress to the next question without pressing the next button.
  6. We continue to offer Talmud Quest for free without any ad links.

Thank you for making this app! If you have time can you update? It hangs a bit on iPhone 11.

Seriously, this thing is super finicky, it freezes all the time and just stops working for almost any reason, if we get a low battery notification or a text or sometimes we don’t even know why, and just now, as it froze and we had to exit and enter, all our data was erased! Anyway it’s also too easy and could benefit from more content, it shouldn’t be too hard for anyone who’s been studying gemorah for a few years. If it is hard it’s definitely worthwhile to master these words and ace it all because it’s all the basics. Id give 5 stars if it worked.

By diligently using this app we have seen a real impact on our learning in a very short time. A fantastic way to improve your Talmudic vocabulary.

Love using this app on our iPad but cannot on our iPhone because the app needs to be updated for compatibility with iOS 11. Thanks!

Highly recommended. This app will definitely help you build up the vocabulary you need to learn Gemara. Download it now!

Great, Fun, Educational. It’s so nice to see more and more jewish apps. B"H. Keep em coming.

This app is a fantastic way to practice and learn Gemara basics! Hope to see a lot more apps like this one!

Can be used even by the experienced learner to fine tune the key terms of the Talmud.
