We really enjoy this game we played when it came out a long time ago on our iPad mini and Im trying it on our iPhone 11 and this game is still so good we downloaded the other games as well so Im going to see how it is all in all Great game. Ps the music in this game is a banger.
Amazing game and extremely fun. For those who say that the ads are really bad, just turn off WiFi or go into airplane mode, you wont get ads.
While Cally's Caves can be hard it's awesome and fun.
For a free game, the dev(s) packed a lot of content. The levels have the right amount of challenge, and the different weapons are fun to use. Getting coins is satisfying, and leveling up your weapons is also a nice mechanic. It's an entertaining platformer that is great to play in short bursts. That being said there isn't any revolutionary difference with this and most other platformers, so it is probably just what you expect. Nevertheless, it's definitely worth a download.
Fun game! Easy to pick up and play anytime. However we can't collect gems or coins to purchase things.
We cant open our map and we have to run through all our progress if we leave.
Its a fun gme but we cant get money every time we get a coin it says +0.
This game is REALLY GOOD but there is one thing when you die the game over screen is kinda creepy we don't like it so can you change it ,but the rest of the game is GREAT.
The game is super fun, but our coin count is always zero, we cant buy upgrades, ive made it to lvl 30 but its as far as we could go without any upgrades(3jump), cool game but please fix this.
Progress doesnt save on game. Starts all over when you exit the game.
Great game but theres no save so you have to start from the beginning every time you reopen it.
We used to play this game and it was tons of fun, but now it has ads, enemies stay still when they hit you, sometimes Cally gets stuck in the wall, the map doesnt work anymore, Im pretty sure there were better things to buy in the store, and a few other stuff Im sour about, but even with that its still fun, still plays and runs smoothly, and still has awesome music.
The game is great but the map button doesnt work to warp so every time we play we have to start from the beginning its hard to make any progress like that.
Last update made it so that you can't bring up the map. Because of this, you always join at the starting level (cally's house) and you must fight your way back to where you once were.
Coin count is always zero can't buy upgrades please fix.
This is a super obvious bug given other reviews. We are enjoying the game but unfortunately we have to delete it. We got 45 levels never having closed the app. Closed it. And lost everything. The map doesnt work and so we were placed back at square one. Unfortunately we wasted hours of our time. Fix this bug.

The ads in this game are atrocious. An ad every 10 levels? Sure. An ad every 3 levels? No. Towards the end it throws ads left and right and you can't even skip them. This made us lose all respect for this game.
Since the coin count never adds (always zero), you can't purchase necessary game play elements (triple jump). Upsetting as we paid to remove the advertisements since the game was fun; but, now we are blocked from going forward at level 30. Even though Carly's Caves 3 is out, this should be fixed.
This games has un skippable 30 seconds ads. Game is unplayable. It used to be better before the 2.0 update.
When you pick up coins you do NOT actually gain coins, therefore you cannot buy upgrades, therefore the game is unbeatable.
Coins dont work in this game, so you cant buy any upgrades (and some are necessary). We liked the gameplay tho.
Loved this game when it first came out. Now when we went to reply it is a broken shell of its former self. Since you cant collect coins anymore there is no point to playing. A sad fate to what was a really good game.
We've been trying to find a game that is adventurous, creative, challenge, and overall fun this game has to be it.
This game was amazing. An excellent 2D platformer with lovable graphics and addicting gameplay. Amazingly, it's free! So many weapons, abilities to buy, enemies to kill, strategies to discover…. Our only complaint is that we can't find the prequel on the App Store.
Game itself is excellent! But: Coins and gems all report "+0", and "store" confirms we have zero coins, no matter how much we play and collect. We love the game but suspect an unintentional glitch is preventing us from enjoying it in the way the devs intend. Please help.
This one is full of errors but really funny to play, we play this because it is now to see how they progressed from the second to the third. If you want to play, we recommend the 3.
This is a great game we think that some of the glitches should be patched because we beat the hardest boss (big robot) and we could not move cally any more so we had to do it again so some glitches so get patched but over all we liked this game it was an amazing experience to go through it and we're happy that we played it and we can't find cally caves 1.
There isn't a point to play if we don't even earn money because when we pick up money we don't gain.
We really loved Cally's Caves 3. We were really disappointed at some of the glitches in this game. The controls sometimes seize up and we take damage when we could have gotten out of it. Enemies drain health a little too fast as well. There is also an issue with the money. It always says +0. We hope the dev can go back and fix this one day so we can enjoy this.
The ga,e is interesting. However the controls (mainly jumping) are so screwed up and convoluted that's it's difficult to accurately play the game how it is supposed to be played. When you tap the money sign in the corner, you expect some kind of store to open so you can upgrade weapons and etc. However it's just a screen for in app purchases. You would think that a game might try to be subtle about wanting your money, not this game.
The whole design and layout of this game are really fun and engaging . Only complaint is how you lose coins when you die and how sometimes the games says you "dodge" the attack but actually lose health.
Best (app) game we've ever played.. C'mon this game is near flawless. Same with the 3rd one!! We really hope you keep making new ones. Props to the creator.
We've had this game about 2 weeks or so and we really can't stop playing it we're on 96 and we've loved the whole adventure and stuff.

This game is truly wonderful! One thing we'd suggest would be a way to save your progress and open the app later. As it is, you need to keep it open to stay on the level you're on. If it's closed, you start at the beginning.
We really can't say much that hasn't been said already, but we think this is a fantastic game. We love the feel, the way things work, the enemies… We love it. One thing though? Make the end screen slightly less sudden and terrifying. Our sister was watching us play, and the first time we died and that screen came up, we jumped a little and she screamed. To be fair, we've both watched way too many horror games being played, but that was still scary. 10/10 game though, we would definitely recommend it.
We love this game and just beat it, it said that callys caves would come out early 2015. It didn't. We really want a new callys caves game because this one was amazing.
And we don't throw that around. The enemies and art style is awesome, and each zone looks spectacular. There are a variety of creative weapons to get including a really fast firing rocket launcher, which is our favorite. Each one is suited for different situations and most serve a dual purpose to help you get more treasure. The ending was very emotional. Take the 5 stars because you deserve it.

We play this game when we're bored it's super fun we've played this game twice nice to play while listening to podcasts or music we strongly suggest to download it.
Definitely one of the best of the genre on the App Store. It can feel slow to get enough money to buy upgrades at the store, but if you've played some old school rpg's, you'll understand. The weapons don't take too long to upgrade, and are definitely useful for non- combat purposes too, you'll see after you get into the game. Overall, highly recommended. It's free, try it:).
This is a great game, a hidden gem if you will. The game definitely surpasses the original in everything. The gameplay remains the same with loads of new weapons. The game is punishing and very rewarding when accomplishing a level. Enemies are tough and the environment can be cruel as well. The in-app purchase is a good help but almost unnecessary if you desire a challenge. Honestly, we can't wait for the release of Cally's Cave 3.
Has a fun old school feel. Super fun game. Love the music. More levels! 108 aren't enough for us – we could play this all day. Looking forward to part 3! Update: When is Callys Caves 3 coming?? Looking forward.

This is by far the best free platform shooter on the App Store. We've beaten the game and have continued playing just to try and max out every weapon in the game. There's not a lot of good free to play games out there but this one is well worth your time if you're looking for an awesome retro platformer. We can't wait for the sequel.
We need more games like this! Old school, Metroid, Castelvania.
This game is amazing. The music is brilliant and really memorable. The pixel art is great too. We've only seen preview of the previous game, but we can already see this is a huge improvement. To the reader of this message: All in all, an amazing game. Please play and refer others to it.
Loved this game one of a kind but some suggestions for the 3rd game change the max level to at least 50-100 for longer playtime and instead of 120 levels pleaaaase make 150-200+ lvls and add towns you can visit in between certain cave levels offering items and or weapon upgrades just makes the game feel like it has a point to it lol and maybe some quests or challenges for xtra xp and a multiplayer mode would satisfy all the fans like you could either do a co op setup or a battle mode where it can be random weapon pickup or a set weapon mode like pistols rifles rockets,etc and even a sword only pvp mode please take this advice thanks! Good job.
