Tank Nation is a free-to-play single and multiplayer game that brings classic tank vs. tank fun to the iPad – with turn-based arcade action and awesome characters. Collect loot, customize your tanks, and blow stuff up!
In the world of Tank Nation, you advance through one-on-one tank combat. You are a tank commander, building and customizing your tanks, and battling and recruiting other nations’ tank drivers. Each nation features tanks with unique attack and defense classes. Build a battalion of tanks, select the best one for each fight, then roll out and defeat the minions and leaders of each nation. Your goal is the build out the baddest tanks to take on other players, and ultimately compete in the Tank Nation Tournament.
In battle, you advance, fire, defend, and deploy multiple weapon systems. You see the field of battle from the classic side-scrolling view, move your tank by dragging forward, and shoot by pulling back to fire. Your arsenal includes:
- Hammer: quad-missile launcher
- Gunsaw: explosive-tipped gatling cannon
- Striker: short-range blast cannon
- Splasher: compressed liquid launcher
- Dragon: short-range spray thrower
- Mortar: long-range explosive launcher
- Shatter Bomb: shockwave grenade
- Gun Drone: independent attack drone
- Walker: all-terrain bipedal chassis
- Jumper: hydraulic leaping chassis

Saw this game on a YouTube video and thought we would check it out. That was 5 hours ago… We haven’t stop playing since. It’s fun, it’s colorful. And if you farm parts early in the game, it’s a breeze toward the middle. Check it out. It’s a hidden gem of 2013.
Wormhole games is in the hole. This game was it’s only one. They will keep the game running while they can, but don’t expect any more upgrades! Check their web site. We will miss this game!

Only a few hours in but so far we love it. Don’t usually leave reviews but we want to support thus fame and these devs. Good job! Fun concept combined with slick interface and graphics results in a fun game. Reminiscent of old turn based 2d tank games with a RPGs and collection spin. Lots if fun, highly recommend.
We really liked this game but we cant play it anymore ever since we got our new iPad because the game doesnt work with the current iOS and we really want to play this game again.
So far things seem smooth n gameplay is well done for the style some solid equipment as well.
Love the game we had to buy an iPad just to get it our friend showed it to us and we like it.
We need more we’re dun with all the levels.. And need something to do.
Expert levels later in the game freeze when a certain weapon is used. Hoping for an update soon so we can move on from the levels we’ve been unable to complete because of a glitch.
Nice game but no support or updates. It’s like they just quit on something good. Lots of time to wait unless u spend lots of money. Anyone know of a better tank game that upgrades that don’t cost so much and all about money with some support?
Great game, but update is very slow.
Unlimited multiplayer would make it Way more fun! And we think multiplayer is all AI with other ppls tanks? We only think this because of how they do their move soooooo fast.
So it’s a great game but… We can get past the boss without grinding levels When we unlocked a "new tank slot" we woulda thought we would control another tank one tank jest can’t bead 5 or 6 waves.
We love this game we have had it for along time we are level 34. We would request this game for any one that loves fast pace games. We don’t like you have to wait for fuel or power to fish hand you should have unlimited multiplayer battles. Please change this!
This game is a blast, a whole bunch of fun, but we have been waiting for the update for months! We are really excited to see what the next areas could hold in store.
We loved this game soooo much! The art style the gameplay, every bit of it. Recently we decided we wanted to play again but now it says the developer needs to update to support iOS 11! Please developer! Update so we can play!
Very addicting and fun. Not as buggy as it once was. Wormhole Games is dead, but if you speak politely and clear, you might get a response from their support email. Playing on a 4th gen iPad, we completed the first three stages on all difficulties, but the next stage didn’t unlock! As of Feb 2017, this game cannot be finished! Very fun up to that point, though. Wish we could finish it :,(
Its a great game but we want to be able to play it on our phone, we tried to download it but it isn’t available for iphone we dont want to use our ipad all the time when playing so please make it for iphone too.

Keeps crashing on level 3-2 on extreme.
We absolutely love this game however we can’t keep tank tokens. We won so many and none have them have registered. We’re talking several hundred worth… Never there.
We bought gems and it took our money but were are our gems this is a issue that needs to be fixed.
Had a ton of fun with it in the past, but no update for so long leads us to feel like the devs just upped and left.
It’s a really cool game other than it crashing every time we play we hope you guys can send a update real soon.

Game is good but the timer to gain more energy/gas whatever it is takes way to long & when you defeat someone the on the stage you don’t get anything from the battle tanks you defeat like new cannon/wheels/tech it has very low drop rate on getting it can you at lease raise it up. Thank You.
Up to level 70 and still no updates for a few months now… What a waste ! Assuming wormhole has truly called it quits.
Addicting game but keeps freezing or not allowing us to do anything after joining a match which causes loss of items, fuel points, and time. Please update with major bug fixes.
We really like this game but the amount of gems needed to refill your energy is just crazy. Get ready to check in once a day for the next 3 months to even get close to cool content.
This game we assume used to be fun and multiplayer worked but nothing has been updated since 2014 and we really hope it comes back again because we would have loved this game if multiplayer worked or if this game got ANY update such as bug fixes and multiplayer overall good game but still it’s sad to see the devs dead and no updates for 3 years we bet it would be a fun game if the devs didn’t go bankrupt or something and this game was updated at least once a week.
Tank Nation used to be fun, but there has not been so much as a bug fix in a long time let alone any new content. The fourth and fifth nations and the "Elite Parts" purchasing option all remain inaccessible. Wormhole Games seems to have gone out of business. Their forums started showing only error messages long ago and now their whole Web site seems to be down with just a "Website Expired" message where it used to be. Tank Nation has various gameplay bugs, but the worst seems to be that the game can lose ALL progress and ALL in-app purchases if an iPad is backed up then restored. All of our items (including rare five-star items) and our gems (many of which we had bought via in-app purchase) were gone after restoration.
We really do like this game. Have cleared the 3rd boss even with the crashes and lost energy. However after most recent update we lost a fully researched hydro drive(3 star) and plasma shield on one tank and the driver and gun on another tank. Also when we try to click on the 2nd tank it instantly crashes our game. Along with missing battle loot from crashes during and at the end of a fight we have also lost 280 gems after a crash. We can deal with that stuff but the lack of response from tech on these issues after making a claim is what is really disheartening. Please fix Update to game has been more stable but we still have a broken tank that crashes the game any time we try to click on it. We know we are not the only one to have this issue. Either fix the bug or give us some other solution.
The games runs at 30fps by standard, but when we press home button twice and get back to the game it runs 60fps, and when we saw how smoothly it runs we don’t like standard fps no more. Please make the make run natively at 60fps.
You make us wait 24 hrs to upgrade a tank and won’t allow a tank change either? Annoying to say the least. Keep it up and we’ll dump you faster than you can decide to pollute your body with another fast food burger.
We can’t complete a lot of fights because the game crashes every time a enemy launches a hovering Granade.
Crashes too many times. Glitches on several levels and an unresponding developer. Not worth the money for in-app items.
Nice while it lasted, had great potential, but Wormhole Games has called it quits and do not currently appear to be supporting the game. Save your money and time for a game that has a future.
Great game, but support has ceased a long time ago. Now it looks like the servers have been shut down. Too bad, Imreally like it when there was support.
Wormhole Games no longer exists. The developers are gone for good. There will never be another update for this app. It was always filled with glitches, many of them were never fixed. Know what happens if you get to level 99? We do. It breaks the game. You start getting negative experience. You are removed from the leaderboards, because of the negative experience. I’d strongly advise players not to spend money on this game. If you encounter any problems, there won’t be any technical support available.
The game is extremely enjoyable except for one thing. It’s more buggy then a cockroach injected with Parkinson’s. We can’t even open the thing sometimes.
The game has a great concept but to many bugs that just get annoying after a while.
Game doesn’t run on OS8 fix right now please love this game.
Update again giving new levels and difficulties, except many expert levels don’t render correctly. There is a black bar on the lower half instead of terrain. They are destroyable and act like regular ground, but you will occasionally fall off the map. Please fix.
Crashes for us too .. We can deal with that but we’re not getting tank tokens when we play in the arena .. We’ve played a lot of battles and won but we still have 0 tank tokensin Myy shop .. We would we could make everyone on the planet try this game. It’s fun. Light. And addictive. We don’t think we’ve even seen ads.. Idk how.
