Art for the cards are great. You get options with the LIs written so differently. Main story and character stories are all consistent and easy to follow more coherency than LADS. Appreciate the romantic progression with male leads from friends to lovers to engagement to marriage. Its very organized. Mihoyo has a thoughtful 5-year plan or something with this game, which makes love interactions much better than just random interactions everywhere. Im engaged in the stories even if writing isnt like amazing. Events are usually fun too. Sometimes a miss but theres usually something new to look forward to. Only cons: we feel like you reach end of game content after a year or two Ive been playing for 4 years we think. Many players leave and return when theres nothing to do in game, especially when the event isnt interesting or involving your main LI. And the wish currency, tears, are LIMITED. Theyre most stingy we think out of all Hoyo games. The grind is real for F2P to afford gacha cards.
This is still our favorite one, lowkey. We love TOT.
As an otome game, Tears of Themis is one of the best out there. It's a "self-insert" game, but the MC is still shown as a hard-working individual with a personality of her own. You have four love interests to choose from, and all of them have their own unique personalities and quirks. Not to mention, the gameplay is captivating on it's own. The setting of the game is a law firm, with you (the MC) working as a lawyer. The main storyline isn't centered around romance, but rather the numerous criminal-law cases the MC and love interests deal with and the complexities of solving the cases. The storylines for individual guys are instead found in the cards, which are pulled through the game's gacha mechanic (of course it's not a HoYoverse game without a gacha). You can pull for specific Love Interests in the gacha where the romantic interactions between the MC and the love interest are portrayed. You use these cards to battle, where you can earn rewards to upgrade your cards, and wishes to pull more in the gacha. There are micro-transactions available, but the game is still largely playable as F2P. The events are doable without spending money if you play consistency, whereas the spending money would come in if you wanted several copies of a card. Overall, we rate this game 5/5 because it is entertaining and has beautiful art. The community for the game is largely supportive and wholesome, and there is also "irl" merch available of this game which is super super cute ;).
This game was our favorite. It means so much to us, we enjoyed this game from hoyoverse.. We have many good memories from playing, but stopped after it got too difficult to win with select cards without purchasing stronger ones. This game is good, but difficult for f2p. Thank you.
Honestly we love this game sooo much but this game making our phone explode we cant even play more than 5min. We hope the dev of this game will fix it soon. We will give back our last remaining star. Looking forward to it.
Ok we personally like this game. But what we would like is for there to be an option to customize the character before playing. Also why couldnt it just be a black girl instead of the typical White girl either brown hair?. Other than that the game is fine. Sorry we would also love English voice acting to be added as well.

The best part about this game is a chance to win extra Stellis chips via fanart contests! Although we havent had any luck yet, still, Im hoping that one day we will be lucky! We did win some merchandise from them during the anniversary event last year.
Game is very laggy even on the newest phone, even when the phone is restarted, even when low power mode is off, and even when its the only app open/in the background. Not sure why the game also takes forever to load upon opening when all of our other games load immediately. Even Love and Deepspace loads faster and never lags and that game is heavy on the resources.
At first, we were like, Okay lets just try this out, we probably wont enjoy this, though, but we did. Im not one for stuff about detective stuff or solving cases, but this is different than everything under the umbrella of crime for us. We really do enjoy this game, and we literally just started it last night because we were kinda bored. Its fascinating how a game like this can suddenly be so entertaining in the first few minutes of adjusting to it, so, we will continue to play this game probably for a long, long time.

We love the game features and story (for the most part) the reason we say for the most part is because the story is kind of ableist against autistic people and to be honest it caused us to stop playing for a while but still overall good we just really hope the writers are more careful in the future.
Its a great game but definitely harder to progress later if youre not grinding or a pay-to-play. But our main thing IS WHY DOES THIS APP USE SO MUCH STORAGE! We only got 64gb! This single app uses 14gigs CURRENTLY of our storage so we cant update it further! 22% of our phones whole storage is this ONE APP! Do not get unless you have minimum 200+gigs of storage.
We love the story and gameplay, but the app crashes a LOT. Its even worse with the new update. But there is no support team we can get in touch with easily in the app; the support button doesnt work or provide a way to contact the team. Please somebody in development fix the crashing, and put in a way for players to get game support in-app. Thanks.
Tears of Themis is F2P friendly which got us by surprise, especially from how their other games are. We love how you can obtain every character and access all content just by playing the game. Its refreshing to enjoy such a generous approach where you can focus on the storyline and gameplay without any pressure to make purchases. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates a fair and balanced gaming experience.

Ok, so this is a really good game and we really enjoyed the graphics and the storyline and the fact were practically like a justice lawyer, its nice that were not entirely helpless as an MC. However, as someone with only 64 GB of storage, we couldnt keep it for long There was just no space on our phone, along with Mihoyos other app, Genshin Impact. We could not keep either of those games very long because of storage issues. Please, if you could, put these on Mac or something.
Ive been playing this game for years its amazing the only issue we have is its laggy and kicks us out at times and the storage needed is outrageous! But still we love this have and recommend playing the cards are beautiful as well the events are fun to.
We like this game a lot but it keeps trying to reconnect when evreything is okay Im so confused.
Ive played this game since release, and while the card stories and overall story is good, its impossible to enjoy as a casual player. If you want to collect ALL SSRs from all the boys, let us stop you right there. Even at the highest level, the amount of AP needed during events and daily tasks is so limited unless you spend your s-chips or choose to spend on gems for limited cards. The rotation of cards is also very short (most cards are up for less than a week) and the pity resets EVERY. TIME. Even choosing only one ML to pull for (Luke in our case) we still struggle getting enough s-chips for all his SSRs, SR and even MR cards. Trust us, we've done all the hard grinding we can even when we cant play as often as we used to. The back-to-back events and SSR cards, whether for all 4 MLs or just one, its hard to keep up not spending some money for. Im not gonna pretend we havent put money in this game either, we have, but at the very beginning before we realized its never ending. We understand its a gacha and managing your resources is part of it, but unlike Hoyos other games like Genshin and Star Rail, getting all the rewards for events feels close to impossible unless u log in multiple times a day or are pay to win. We love the story and characters, but if youre a completionist we would be careful spending money in this game.
If it didnt crash every few mins or when we were halfway into a chapter it would be amazing, but it ruins the experience once it does. Please fix the app for less recent models. Smooth feature in settings doesnt do much.
This was our first otome game. Ive watched some anime before and we can overlook some sexist tropes because we know this is fantasy and meant to be romantic but we just cant stand it anymore. Its gotten to the point we hate every character except maybe Marius but even he has his cringe moments. Ive got no one left to root for. But mainly we stopped playing after they lost the Japanese voice overs. We dont want to just read stuff. Its not an immersive story without voices.
This game is gorgeous and dense with content. There is so much you can do for free, if youre disciplined and ok with a lot of disappointment. We tend to hoard resources, so we thought Id be ok if we were selective. The reason for two stars is that they throw a ton of events at you, all rapid-fire, short duration, and overlapping, all with great, shiny combat and cosmetic rewards. Even if you dont jump at a quarter of them, its way too much. We liked this game and respected how much they let us do for free, so we decided to become a paid player. Theyd definitely earned our money. So we bought the monthly card and was ready to go all-in on the next event that had something we really wanted. Then we figured out how much Id have to spend on the single event to get the reward we wanted. We became a payed player and it still wasnt enough to get a single reward from a single event. They have everything from .99 purchases to a recent event where you had to buy a card outright to get it. For over $60. Its just way too much. They get you with the gorgeous art and the broad stories and the well-designed side quests and mini-games then if you want to keep engaging in the world thats hooked you, its $$$$. Its designed in an unethical wayit crosses a line into unethical. We recommend people find something else to do with their time and not get sucked in.
Id go back to genshin if they put vyn in it.

We love this game it keeps our attention and we luv the main leads they are intriguing.
We dont think Ive ever written a review for a mobile game before but oh our god does this deserve all the positive feedback it gets. The art and graphics are breathtaking and extremely high quality quality for mobile. The main gameplay is interactive and super enjoyable. Being able to move around the investigation scenes adds so much depth. The plot is always engaging and the cases do increase in difficulty as you progress :) we love the addition of being able to interact with characters outside of the main story and just hang out n play mini games with them. Their banter always makes us laugh and being able to get glimpses of their background makes it worthwhile. There are several independent mini games as well, on top of seasonal events. Each of them have multiple levels and challenges. Honestly the mini games alone could serve as their own apps. Its insane how much content is in this app and its still baffling to us that 1. Its free to play; this is a game we would absolutely pay money for & 2. That its a mobile game. It seriously has the quality and depth to be mistaken as a pc game. To anyone who enjoyed Ace Attorney, Danganronpa, or any other problem-solving or mystery game, we guarantee youll love this game as well. The loss of storage space is worth it, we promise lol.

The rewards are meager and its difficult to progress as F2P. Im may play causally, but it feels like Im doing everything we can, but there is absolutely no progress. It feels as if this game power crept on itself.

We've been playing this game consistently, every day for over two years. We have experienced quite many bugs, but the biggest one is logging into the game. When the screen says "tap to start," we tap. But it doesn't start. It plays the button-clicking animation, too, but nothing happens after that. A quick fix is to switch off wifi while logging in, but now it seems that doesn't work either. For about half a week, the bug was fixed, but now it's back and worse. We have had this problem for years.
What is happening? First time happening. When we enter battle, the battle ends before we even run out of turns. At first it was at turn 3, but it stopped at turn 8 the next time. Does this mean the game auto determines you wont win.
Hello!! We tried to download this game last night, and it downloaded fine! However, when we open the app, it remains in the screen after saying Tears of Themis with an image of the main characters for hours with no change or music playing. Ive tried restarting our iPad (downloaded on iPad) and uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but no change. Please help us with this.
That says a lot cuz Ive played almost every romance game known to mankind, every NTT Solmare series, Mystic Messenger, Obey us, etc. And to us none of them can compare to Tears of Themis. The fun story investigations the stories the gacha rates the visuals the animation the interactions literally EVERYTHING is exquisite:) we adore the fact that you dont have to choose only 1 character to commit to and have different routes like most otome games do, you can play at your own pace, read up on the stories of whichever character you like most whenever you want. Definitely recommend.
Ok first thing first, we BARELY leave reviews so consider hearing us out. This game is just wholesome despite just recently finished ep. 1. Unlike most games, this one does not require spending money to at least get decent progress and keeps a steady/realistic progress. You can get cards easily by either doing tasks, finishing episodes, or even buying them without spending any money. And you can get beginner treatment so youd get some boost in progress. Most expectation was that after you get your beginner perk, everything eventually gets harder later on but still enjoyable. This game allows you to be able to sniff out clues in investigation, question the suspects/witnesses, and choose choices in the court. The little thing thats quite disappointing is that there isnt much interactive/choices of words during conversations. The game would just automatically let your character do the talking. This game has these energy points but rather than waiting hours for regaining a few, it takes a fairly amount of time so youd be able to continuously play if wanted to. Sometimes, you can earn some energy points by just winning some debates. The story/plot is just so neat, clean, and very understanding. Each character has a story to it and you eventually to discover little fragments of their past as the story goes on. The characters are like, more realistic/professionally(??) compared to, like, most of the anime characters. Each character has a unique personality, childhood friend, cocky rich boy, cold/strict business boss, just wow. Like some games that depends on power, abilities, etc, this one is based on topic/personality of the character when it comes to battling/arguments. Unfortunately theres no choices for character gender for the story but aint gonna complain abt that. Now, we aint an expert on this kind of stuff but Id say its the best one yet! Id totally recommend playing this game, makes us wanna play more but our phone is burning lol we appreciate the effort you developers put into this game.

So ive been playing this game since we believe May and let us tell you, its a great game! It has a good plot line and we like how the romance is like a side plot line and doesnt interfere with the whole detective aspect of the game. The only reason why this game doesnt get 5 stars is because of the Events, and the fact this game isnt really f2p friendly. Like yes, you dont NEED to pay money to play. But when you use up all your energy, you either use the s-chips that youve been saving for weeks or you use actual money to restore it all. There is an option to use these bottle things but you only get two per day. Along with that, the wishing system isnt that good tbh. Youre expected to constantly grind or pay money. Now, we play genshin and grinding is fun and all but when you dont have the acquired power, you cant do much until the next day. And with the events, you have to spend WAY to much time on it. Like the event rn??? You have to wait 7 hours 16 times. THATS OVER 100 HOURS. AND THE EVENT ENDS SOON. ITS RIDICULOUS. And the events never even last that long! Theyre like 7-5 days while in their other games the events last for two weeks to a d*mn month. This game is more cash grabby than both Genshin and Star Rail combined. And also, once the third anniversary cards come out. Every single f2p player is screwed. So, our advice to anyone who sees this: If you have a lot of money to spend and wanna play this game, go right ahead and have fun. But to people who dont spend money on games, good luck trying to get cards.
The passage of time event lets you choose a free SR card, but we clicked the X button to make sure we had no duplicates of those cards, and now it wont let us choose one. Please fix.
We loved this game but it always has connecting issues. Half the time it cant find server or wont load and you have to close the app and reopen it. Or when doing something in the game it would stop responding. We don't have any issues with our other games so its not our connection.
We decided to download this app again and unfortunately, im unable to log into our account Ive tried everything like uninstalling and redownloading it back.
Like we said we really like this game but in the previous event Fluffy Fuzzy time part 2 we finished all of the requirements, stories, missions, everything. The reward was supposed to be 1 SR card for each story and we completion badge and we never got it. Im currently having the same problem right now with the current event, we earned an award, a background, and but the game doesnt give it to us. And Im pretty frustrated because we used a good amount of Stellis to make sure we completed both Artem and Marius stories on time. Usually when we have this problem with a game we can go to support and they help us but this games support is horrible. It gives you random irrelevant prompts for it to answer and when you type in your actual question or problem it just keeps. Generating prompts??? We dont know why. Im literally commenting this so we can just get help with getting the rewards and paid for. Please help us.
We stumbled across this in our recommended (because we play genshin impact, honkai impact, honkai: star rail, etc.). We actually really like this game, we never really played any of these types of games so we were really excited to try it. The character design is amazing and the storylines are accurate and realistic. The gatcha system is really good and we like the game a lot. We like that you can go back on what youve already played and its just such an amazing, well rounded game. Mihoyo does it again, people! Thanks to anyone who worked on making this game, it is such an amazing game and its now one of our favorites! Props to you guys.
Hi Im very confused we got this game because we got this game because we have all the other hoyoverse but this game is very confusing in the beginning so we start with this statue that seems to do nothing when we touch it then we go to support and press clear recourses so we wait for it to download then it does nothing so please reply and give us a tutorial on how to start the game thank you ver much.
