We hope to see more from this creator. Ive played all the games a while ago and we just absolutely love these games. We want to express how much the song in this game stuck with us. Theres something about it that just brings us to tears, and genuinely we remember the ending made us cry. These games have evolved so much from just a room where you have to do weird tasks to much more complicated mechanics and narrative. We dont think we can ever find something like these games again.
We loved this series so much. We can't find another series like this or anything that even comes close. Visuals and plot 10/10. Can't wait for more.
So we first played this series when we were still a kid in online school… We revisited it as an adult and it's safe to say TLA4 is one of our favorite games of all time!! We just love everything about it,, the atmosphere is chilling, the puzzles are frustratingly clever, and there's a lot of secrets to find even outside of just the endings. We hope to be able to get others to play these games someday, cause we think everyone needs to experience them!! ^^.
So we beat the levels up to 4 but when we go back then go to the button press it the door dose not open.
Game doesnt fit [newer] iPhone screens, ads play randomly when moving between levels (there are barely any in this game so theyll mainly just interrupt your gameplay), and the test game, avoiding the spikes, is tedious enough that we only wanted to give it one try. After playing through all of the first 3 several years ago we remembered why we never finished this one.
This is the coolest game ever and we used like 100 hints to win and we won simple #3 Infinity stars Thats what we rate it.
Why is the ending so impactful, like we did not need to start tearing up while flying on a plane.
This is the best game series we have ever played thanks for making this amazing master piece.
The series showed many happy things, and not so happy. But the ride ended here.
We love how much thought went into making this game! We need more.
When we first saw it on the app store we thought it was a horror-type game, turns out it was really cute the character design is creative. You should make more of this game, if there were more stars we would rate full stars, THIS GAME IS STRAIGHT UP AMAZING YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD THIS MASTERPIECE, To the developers, if you are reading this you are EXTRAORDINARY, Make more of this, please thanks.
Really, really clever. Absolutely love this game. Forces you to think deeply but also encourages you to explore more beyond your limits.
Its a great game, but when we were trying to change the options we accidentally tapped on the thing that changes the language and we couldnt change it back. It was stuck on some different language. We hope you see this and try to fix it. Great game.
Initially it was hard and strange, but as we went on it became fantaaastic. Its music is awesome, especially the end music.
A very clever and enjoyable game. We did have to use the hints, but did not mind watching the ads to get a clue. TLA 1-4 rely on a wonderful variety of user inputs to solve the puzzles, its not just jump and run. Great fun.
We found the Easter egg. Also we finished the game and all four of your that level again games, so please make a fifth game, because some other people including us would like one.
Ive played puzzle games before and we enjoyed them, but theres something different with TLA something sooo soecial, our best puzzle game ever we dont think there will come any game that can be as enjoyable as TLA or as clever as TLA Thank you for giving us this unforgettable game.
We love the game, we only wish it didnt end with that level again 4 but continued, and we loved the puzzles, but we still dont get what happened to the original character of that level again 1, 2, and 3 so we loved every game in the series but we think either TLA 2 and TLA 3 were the best.
After playing the first 3, we were totally thrown off by this at first. It's completely out-there and screwy, but it's awesome if you're into that sort of stuff. As others have surely stated in their reviews, we're keeping our fingers crossed for a TLA 5.
So many puzzles to play. Its a perfect game.
We have played all four games about 3 times to their entirety and it never gets old. Just dont read the hints and its a lot more interesting since you really need to use critical thinking to figure it out. By far the must under rated yet awesome game. And theres something so soothing yet melancholy about the ambience of the game and the music in it that just lingers with you and becomes nostalgic. Bravo.
One of the best, most intuitive games Ive played in a long, long time!!! Please bring us more.
Its like a unfair Mario game but its still feels fair thats us describing the series But no true words could describe it fully.
This game is incredibly creative and fun! We love this creators work. Keep it up :).
Love this game, but not long enough.
This is less of a review and more of a praise for the TLA Series. If you havent downloaded the game yet, we highly recommend it. When we first started playing That Level Again, we started with the very first TLA 1. It was fun, and we thought that was it. But something told us there was more. We installed TLA 2 and had even more fun playing that one. When we started playing TLA 3, though, we could see that the Developer(s) had made huge strides, with an unforgettable storyline and amazing new puzzles to solve. We were sad to see that TLA 4 was the last installation in the series on the App Store, and we reluctantly played and finished that game, too, thinking that there will be nothing left after that. And let us tell you, TLA 4 was one of the most unique, mind-boggling games that Ive ever played, and Ive played a LOT. Ive never actually rated any games, but when we finished TLA 4, we knew it merited 5/5 starts, even though Id give it more if we could. From the bottom of our heart, we want to sincerely thank the Developer(s) of the That Level Again Game Series for making TLA 1 through 4. This has been one of the best games Ive ever played, from the beginning to the end, and Ill never forget it.
We like the games 1 2 and 3 so we have not played it and we know it will be good.
Its an interesting and intellectual game. It addicts you. Im waiting for next level.
Its always so sad when we finish a game in the series. This one was definitely more tricky yet it had great payoffs and references to other games. If only it was longer.
We like all of the games in TLA but this one was the best.
We like the simple stuff you put in to this game the puzzles and some logic like the friction one. We hope you can make another one of these games.
Its always an amazing experience playing these games. Since the second game came out, Ive been periodically checking to see if another game has come out. Realized number 4 was out today and played it all the way through. There's really nothing like these games, and trust us Ive looked.
Ive played all the games with all endings, and we think its an incredibly well-made game with a melancholy story. The reason Im writing this review is because of an impassable bug during the Tap Boom section. Our screens resolution cant load the door or most of the edges of the screen during the level, so its impossible to pass. If it could be addressed or removed or reworked somehow, Id definitely 5-star it.
We really like these games. However, we have an iPhone 12 mini, and we cant complete the game probably because of this. We had issues with not everything fitting on the screen earlier in the game, but we were able to continue around the obstacles. But once we got to our Very First Game, we could not. The door that needs to be popped is off screen, and we have not been able to figure out how to get it on screen to pop it. Ive tried everything. So now we have deleted the game. We cannot even skip that screen to keep going on. We would have liked to continue to complete the game because we think theyre so fun.
Just like another review, we are unable to pass the level with the door that you have to pop because the sides of the game are cut off. If you could set something to fix this that would be amazing. We love this series and am very disappointed that we wont be able to complete this game.
Very addictive, the solutions are not terrible difficult once you realize that some of them lie outside of the actual interface. Makes you think about things a little differently than most games.
We are stuck on our test game level. The screen has the door cut off so we cant explode the door to continue.
Im at the test level game and cant see the door to smash. Super bummed because this is a fun game. :/ we have tried restarting and nothing helps. On an iPhone 12, the smaller one.
We cant move forward in the game at the tap boom part because the sides are cut off.
The screen doesnt fit well on iPhone 11. Hence we were unable to complete some level and move forward even though we knew what the solution was. We hope you would resolve this.
Ive read a few other comment about this particular problem. Im the iPhone 11. The Tap Boom game is impossible for us to leave because the sides of the screen are cut off and we cannot tap the exit to open it. Im very disappointed that we cannot complete the game… Hope you fix it.
Previous TLAs are so much better and fun.
Im stuck on tap boom in stage 2 because the pink door is outside our screens width.
Stage 1 ended up extremely annoying with all the nonsense at the end. Deleted it.
Like other reviewers, Im unable to move past stage 2 & the stupid test game. Guess our phone screen isnt big enough, and we have an iphone 11. NBD though. We were gonna delete it anyway. TLA 3 was ridiculous enough, but this one is even worse. The first 2 were so great. Its a shame it turned into this.
We really enjoyed the first 3 but they jumped the shark with TLA4. Like they ran out of new ideas and just threw out weird stuff that is difficult to understand and clunky. Very frustrating. It is like they intentionally force you into the help ads at every turn because there is little to no logic to the levels. Very disappointing. Actually starting to effect our opinion of the first three.
We have been stuck at stage 2 (our test game) on our iphone just because the UI does not show the gate that we can tap and move forward. This is really strange for an app and we would think that the developer will account for actual width of the phone and not only the height.
