This game is good. Theres some stuff that could greatly improve this though. The good stuff is: we watch this game show all the time and we absolutely love it. | Im actually learning a lot from this game because it generates unlimited questions of all topics of trivia. | we absolutely love the cases, milestones and all that. | The bad stuff is, IM LITERALLY PLAYING AGAINST A COMPUTER WHOSE IQ IS NOTHING LIKE THE CHASERS IN REAL LIFE!!! WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT THAT HUH???! | Also, why not make a Croatian Chaser case (like the USA, UK and Australia) that gives pieces of all Croatian chasers, not just the Undertaker. If youre not gonna do that, why not just remove Croatian chasers completely from this app especially since they dont speak English in real life. | Chase win rate doesnt matter as long as the players good so why not just take that out, and the amount of games played against the chasers too? | Also please change the music & audio to the USA 2021 ABC version, not the music & audios in the UK . Thx for reading this review and hopefully Ill see these changes :).
The amount of questions about rugby, cricket, polo, and other nonsense is unbelievable. This has nothing to do with the TV show that aired in the United States. It is all about some poorly educated Europeans making as much money as they can.
The game is fun but there are 30 second ads between EVERY round. In 10 rounds we lose 5 minutes of our life that we dont get back. Id keep playing for 5 seconds ads but Ive burned after 2 weeks.
We love the new update. Ive noticed that when we swipe up to pause the game, the timer still runs during the Cash Builder and Final Chase. Can you fix that and allow the timer to stop when a player pauses the game.
It was an alright game to watch on TV but the app is definitely a money-grab (which is what we wanted to avoid when playing a game).) And if youre not from the UK or Europe youll have more than the intended amount of difficulty answering questions as most of them are related to things specific to British culture. Ive never seen a cricket game in our entire life but Im supposed to know who led some team back in 1964? Once you unlock most/all of the regular characters youll just be competing for pieces to unlock cases to give you more pieces for characters youve already leveled up to the max. Their new battle feature worked well at the start but then they intentionally made the computer players assisting you take longer than 5 seconds to answer questions so now unless youre answering all the questions yourself youll lose. Whats the point of using the computer players on your team if theyre useless? Also, every time you reach a new city it costs you exponentially more in game money to buy the cases they sell in the store. This leaves you to play more chases which uses more energy and since you dont get enough to play 5 games in a day (to complete your daily goals) you need to spend real money to buy energy. Like we said, its a money grab. We communicated with the game developers about our multiple concerns. They responded by offering us an insultingly low amount of game energy credits and assured us of changes theyd be implementing soon. Well, not soon enough. 2/5 stars.
Love the game but please give us a landscape or portrait option. Also would be great to be able to play on PC OR MAC.
We played the original Chase and this version had a lot of thought put into it. Plays smooth, lots of rewards, and ads are only as frequent as you win, or choose to watch for energy to play. The amount of British questions is frustrating, and cost that 5th star. But we suppose it is available worldwide, so we grit our teeth and say, Bollocks.
We have been watching the Chase with Sara Haines and we love playing with some good chasers around the world. We are also a huge fan of James The High Roller Holzhauer.
Great visuals, runs smoothly, appropriately challenging questions. Has all the elements of The Chase TV experience. There is a lot going on though, with different game elements and offers. Ads are not too intrusive, and if you buy an offer for as little as $1.99 – Ads go away.
Ive been playing this game since before it became a world tour thing. We absolutely love the game, however, Ive noticed most of the questions are from old times. We feel like you should add a lot more modern day questions because all the questions target the old times and Im not asking you to take the old timey questions off but it should be an even amount between modern and old timey. We also feel adding more general knowledge questions rather than history would make this game a lot more fun but still challenging.
This game is fun and enjoyable, being able to play the game in a realistic version in America is relieving after however many years ago the last one was made. We just wish we could get an app like The Chase Ultimate Edition with the US Chasers and setup. Theres no point of making an American version of this game without an American version of Ultimate Edition. Many people who got this app likely didnt want to have to wait so long to play cash builders and the final chase. Give the American fans of The Chase what they want.
This game is unbelievable fun and is an amazing representation of the game on tv. However, we believe that the final chase shouldnt cost gold in order to play and cash your banked money. For anyone wondering, gold is the prime currency of the game. Other than that, its a fun game.
We really do like this game but every time we logged into the game, it said our data had issues and the game couldnt fully load. Also, can you change it to where you can play the game like the actual show and have the abc the chase music cues and not the uk version. Thanks.
This is a much better adaptation than other TV trivia show apps! Gameplay is very similar to the actual show within limitations demanded by the platform and monetary protocols are designed to actually reward wins. Besides a few too many clicks necessary to respond to waiting awards, the only thing that really bothers us is that the trivia questions/answers are often written a bit too Brit-centric (e.g. Hokey-cokey). Would be nice if regional settings informed the question wording, alternative terms were also included, or if questions and answers were limited to globally standard terms.
The questions get really difficult at around level 7. Unless you follow cricket or know a lot about Filipino clergy, it gets pretty frustrating.
We didnt come here to level up, collect, or whatever added game mechanics they put in here. We just want to play a full game of The Chase and it randomly picks whatever Chaser like the TV show does. Why make this difficult.
We love The Chase and this app is awesome! Keep the updates coming and we cant wait to obtain The High Roller and Supernerd! Wish Goliath and Professor were on the app too.
Hey there this is a great app to get but we would really love it if it was available with accessibilities for blind people.
So one issue we have is the app doesnt tell us how to get certain chasers. Theyre allegedly in the game but no cases or any indication of where to get pieces exists. Would be nice to know.
With the way money and the timers work it's almost like they don't want people playing this game.. Very confusing business practice.
OMG we LOVE BEING ABLE TO PLAY AGAINST THE CHASERS ITS LIKE IM ACTUALLY BEING IN THE STUDIO DEFINITELY WORTH IT.
Always been fascinated with The Chase World Tour, for the past two years, since its one of our favorite trivia shows on television, or in the world. When it comes to playing this app, there should be a way to increase the amount of Gold to buy (instead of 1,200 Gold at $9.99, why not 2,000 at $9.99), as well as have a set of choices for how much amount of Energy to buy, as well, rather than either 200x or 1,000x. Just an idea.
Im really loving The Chase World Tour. Im a huge fan of The Chase & this game is just like the game show. We love that the battles are just like the Beat the Chasers game show. Anyone who is a fan of The Chase needs to play this game. Its so much fun.
We really loved the new update of the game!!! Its wonderful how we get to promote chasers of our own at a maximum of 7 Red Stars because Ive had the most chasers, 7 chasers to be exact at 7 Red Stars. We really enjoyed it.
We know several people have made this complaint and Im gonna reiterate it. It is a little ridiculous to spend 50 energy to play the final Chase a second time if you lose the first. But then bumping it from 50 to 100 for the third time if you lose the second chase thats highway robbery. Energy does not come very often unless its 15 minutes each.. The amount of energy to play the final Chase needs to stay at 20 for all three or however, many times you lose the final chase going from 20 to 50 is bad but going from 50 to 100 is extremely unbelievable.. This needs to be fixed and it needs to be fixed NOW.
Love this game but just wanted sh they can tell u how many questions u got right in the cash builder just like they do on the actual show.
This game is addictive, but fun. Our only gripes are that not all of the chasers are in it, especially since Goliath from Australia is not included and even though Ken is no longer associated with The Chase, it would be nice to acknowledge the fact that he was the first to be introduced as an American chaser.
Dont need an advertisement after every game.
The Chase World Tour is almost perfect it needs the host from each country from the show, and we also want the chasers talking during the game, its just like gsn version of the app we played years ago with just the beast mark labbett, other than that this game awesome that we get to challenge the chasers from the UK and the USA and Australia.
Love the game but please give us a landscape or portrait option.
