You are Da Vinci’s most promising apprentice. Your master, Leonardo, has disappeared. You have no idea where he’s gone or what has happened. So you begin your quest, your search for the truth. However, Leonardo’s workshop is full of puzzles, inventions, escape mechanisms and objects hidden in all corners of beautifully decorated rooms. You’ll need to use all of your brain cells to find out what’s really going on!
We’ve applied our own imagination to the story of the world’s greatest inventor, Leonardo da Vinci, providing players with unique special abilities throughout gameplay. We allow you to warp back into your early days as a young apprentice, exploring the 16th century world around you, peeking into Leonardo’s mechanisms, puzzles and devices, as you eventually become powerful enough to control time itself and learn the secrets hidden in the past.

Some of the puzzles are not communicated well and dont make any sense, but its okay to look up a guide. If you liked The Room series, youll enjoy this as well.

This game is one you wont mind your kids playing. It stretches their minds in physics and geometry (even before the know what those things are), problem solving, and above all else patience. No one is killing each other and the hitting the reset button like other video games. There is real learning here. Kudos to the developers. The graphics are fantastic. Hope they come out with many more games and this sets a new trend for more video games that have a positive effect on kids.
We’ve been trying to finish it for awhile, and it was so fun! The definite best bit was the 3 dimensional part. Being able to walk around in a 3D world, solving puzzles and opening letters is nice to do, and if we find myself stuck, we can just tap the hint button.
As said before this game is just like the room series. But we love those games , so this was right up our alley. We dont right reviews often but well done. On to part 2.
We’ve played all 3 games (not in order) and we just say that its one of the most legendary games we’ve ever played in our 30 years as a gamer. No Lie. Beautiful graphics, music, story and acting. We just love it! SUPER FAN.
We really enjoyed this game. Very good graphics for an IPad game. We’ve played all the Cyan games (Myst,Riven, Uru), The Room, Obduction, etc. And this fits right into the genre. This is a lighter version of the Xbox games and in our opinion, worth the $5 for 4-6 hours of entertainment. We experienced no glitches that others mentioned.

Pay once up front and enjoy hours of fun and interesting play. Beautiful artwork and some history thrown in. We are so glad there are two more versions to look forward to.
Im reluctant to pay for games but was looking for a well made mind bender one and was willing to pay up for something worthwhile. This one is Truly worth every penny, not only are the graphics and music incredibly beautiful but the level of thought put into the games within keeps your mind sharp and challenged . Im going for HoD 2 and hope For more.

If someone were to tell us ten years ago that games like this would exist in 2020, we would probably have not believed them. We always have felt relatively disconnected from the ingenuity of historical characters such as DiVinci. This game, or experience rather, has quite successfully reconnected us to the vast intrigue of the great genius of the past millennium and caused us to realize the sheer complexities and amazement of the human mind. God truly has blessed humanity with awe-inspiring intellect, and this same truly proves it without sparing any provision of blessing and excitement. It truly sets the bar high enough in mobile gaming to make a bold statement to the industry. We suggest that everyone follows suit!

A great game with equally amazing graphics. We were truly disappointed when we solved the final challenge. An education experience of his most ingenious inventions as well. We hope there are more in this venue planned by the creators.
Hello! Im always wanting to challenge our mind in new ways, we watched the gameplay walkthrough a few nights ago and we were hooked. After playing the game myself we have to say we’ve never felt more challenged to push on through with each and every puzzle. The graphics and intuitiveness of each area and the hints made us excited to see the next puzzle and figure out the next clues. We really loved this game and Im about to play number two. Thanks for bringing a great game to the table. We hope to be able to play the whole series. Keep up the good work and thanks again!
The only real issue we had with this game and all other games is with the fact that Im color tinted. Basically partial color blindness. What we would like to see in future games is a color wheel in settings that people could turn or touch to bring out the spectrum that they need for a better game playing experience. With that wall of text done, we truly enjoyed the game. Looking forward to the next installment so we can continue the story… What! A new Da Vinci is available? Ummm see ya, gotta go. By.
This game is the first puzzle game we had ever played and let us just say it is worth buying. We do not regret it a single bit.
Love da Vinci and to get to play with his inventions while solving wonderful puzzles was a great escape. Knowing that part 2 already awaits made the ending much more fun than it would have been not knowing there was a next time!

Sixteen hours we thoroughly enjoyed. Had to rely on the hints a lot, but that means we can replay it soon and see what we remember. Thanks to the developers for a highly entertaining yet reasonably priced experience. Got any more?
If you love The Room games these are for you. Its not quite as magical and beautiful but definitely the closest of anything we’ve found. Also check out Gorogoa.
Finished all of the Room Series Games and could not find anything as challenging and exciting until The House of Da-Vinci games. Im an elderly player and found all the games a good brain stimulator. We had the hints on but avoided using them unless we were really, really stuck… Which didnt happened that often. We highly recommend this game series to everyone. Hats off to the guys who put these together . Thanks! The Elderly Gamer.
We loved playing this game as we went to bed each night for about a month. Great game, good everything, extremely pleased. Worth it.
The game is great but there is no sound.
This game is not for the faint-hearted adventurer. Youll have a lot of fun, but there will be frustration as well. Stick with it, though. Youll be glad you did!
Takes a lot to keep us interested in an app game. We have dropped most we have started. This is the second app ever that we have stuck with and finished!!! The graphics are seamless and beautiful!! We love the work put in to do some historical research and the imagination to make it all work with a storyline. Im begging for number 3!!!! Plz plz have one before we finish Room 3 and 4. Otherwise Im going to go brain dead!!!! Lol.
We were having fun with this game until the observatory. We could not get past the contraption with the four moons. The clue was useless and the walk throughs did not help. We had to reset the four moons numerous times. It kept resetting the clue also. Finally, it kicked us out of the game completely, lost all our data and we have to start over. Fat chance! We will find another game. We are playing on an IPad Pro.

We loved this virtual experience! We have to admit-some tasks were really hard!!! It took us days to figure out some of them, but once we asked for enough hints we eventually got it. Well worth the money-very entertaining and challenging.

The graphics, story lines, the animation, the theme, the puzzles, the whole thing is out of this world! We cant stop playing and looking forward to playing more. You guys set the bar really high and many have to do so much work to try and catch up to you. Fabulous!
We really enjoyed playing this game. It was a lot of fun.
We bought this game after finishing the excellent Room series, when we saw comparisons of this game which Id never heard of. Based on those comparisons, we had low expectationsbut we found it to be great! It was very challenging (I admit we had to consult walkthroughs once or twice) but we enjoyed it. But most importantly, it just kept going and going! We were astonished at how it kept going to new locations. It was very inventive, and by the end we were ready for it to be over. Now Im looking forward to House of Da Vinci II!
Great gameplay, great graphics, and impressive hints that give you just enough to push thru. Loved this game! The Room series will always be our number 1, but this is a very close second!
A challenging and enjoyable game. A good variety of puzzles and logical steps to figure out. We got totally stuck a few times and had to use the level 1 hints to check that we were focusing on the correct machinery, box, puzzle or whatever (usually we were, with an exception or two, so it gave us the confidence to continue looking in that area). Excellent graphics and music. The ending was fun, the whole room going crazy!

We played the game and we find that it was the hardest puzzle game we have ever played but we couldn’t quit because we wanted to see what came next for us to solve. We look forward to playing more of these games. We loved it.

We found nearly all of the puzzles worth the time required to solve them and quite inventive. There were a few that drove us to consult a walkthrough, from which we drew the conclusion that taking our time to look aroundand to use the oculi for more clueswas beneficial. Overall, the game is a worthwhile experience, especially for anyone interested in the life and times of da Vinci.
It was kinda hard to get into at first because we didnt quite understand how to search for clues. Then we found appunwrapper. Com. She makes videos for games. That helped us a lot when we got stuck on something. We loved the game and just purchased the sequel! You have to play this game!! Its a lot of fun and the puzzles are terrific!
We must say that this game was so fun and challenging. We Bought this game about a year ago and we took our time with it. Again Im impressed at the level of detail that this game offered us and it didnt disappoint. And its definitely worth the price . If youre not sure you can get the demo version to try out. Our advice: BUY This Game!!
This game is perfect for us. We are an artist but of the older generation and so complex action games are too much for us. We have little time to dedicate to game playing. This is so artistic and pleasant to explore that we want more and more to play it. However we only play for about 5 to 10 minutes a day, if at all. The pace is up to you, and we prefer slow, allowing us to soak up the cool 3D set designed in each room. Well done, with suspenseful, creative music in background. Very entertaining for our taste.
