We love the music it soothes our mind after a day at work.
The music soothing, it reminds us of old tdf games, we like it , not bad not bad.
A nice balance between classic and new school(ish) gameplay.
We love the slow progression, we do wish there were more types of enemies and upgrades. Maybe more splash when things die and more color to make it more exciting for the eyes? Again the slow progression is great, we definitely wouldnt mind a more flashy cannon and maybe some kind of rewards for milestones?? Like more money or coins at wave 5/10/15 etc?
The vector type graphics makes this game more fun than the full graphics ones.
The Tower is a good game, we cant wait for more additions to the game.
Definitely takes some time(weeks) to get it up to speed, almost hockey stick curve. Youll spend a lot of time watching ad videos for coins to upgrade (necessary) . But we usually have the game on passively. So we just tune out.
We really enjoy this game as a tower defense lover however, the progression feels really slow. We are not exactly sure how many hours we have in this game (probably close to 20) but we have not unlocked all of the content yet. (Have not unlocked ultimate weapon tab) we really feel that you should have access to all content within a couple hours of playing arcade game such as this. Also, we feel like you should be able to buy specific cards, not a random card.
We had this game for awhile and deleted it. Im revisiting it now because we had forgotten our issues with it but upon replaying it we remember now. This game is in no way an idle game. You need to have the game running to progress in levels. You need to have the game running to upgrade your tower. You need to have the game running to make permanent upgrades to your tower. You need to have the game running to earn coins to permanently upgrade your tower. There is no benefit to you not having the game open, which means this is no an idle game at all. There is no benefit to being idle. Progress is therefore frustratingly slow. Its also slow because when your tower is destroyed, you are sent back to round 1 and lose all the progress you made. There is no way to skip and there is nothing to do but watch while you earn cash to upgrade back to the level you died on, and coins to permanently upgrade your tower. We love the aesthetics, but this is not what we want from an idle game. There is nothing idle about it.
Perhaps the devs are focused on the small number of players who are near the end game, but whatever update they made right now made progress in this game almost impossible for us. We used to get an average of about 2.5 Million coins at wave 100 in level 10. This was where we got the best coins/wave. After the last update we are getting 1.6 Million coins with the exact same research, cards etc. A reduction of 36% coins earned overnight! Progress was already so slow, with a huge difficulty jump from level 10 to level 11, and this update made it even slower. Too slow for us to continue to commit.
Good for wasting time especially considering it takes an EXTREMELY long time to upgrade things to the point where many will lose interest which is a negative. There arent too many ads which is nice but the ads that they do have force you to see go to the app store for whatever app is being advertised which is super annoying. Things like that will prevent an app from getting a high score for us.
Great for killing time. Not sure if its going to be a full production td game or not based off of what is presented or if its just a quick cash grab for the devs, but we can see it going somewhere so hopefully thats whats going to happen.
Our account was banned for basically using the paid upgrades! Theyll let you pay for premium, then lock you out and accuse you of cheating. We asked for a refund and they said they couldnt find our player number we made a complaint to apple and suddenly our account got un banned. Doesnt matter, still going to uninstall and never put a cent into anything this developer produces again.
We hardly write reviews for games but this is one we think more people should give a try.
We play a lot of games on console and PC so when we play a game on our phone its usually to divert time and this game just makes time go by so fast. We love the simplicity yet strategic development of the game. Its free so not much to lose. Its better if your friends have it as well because we compete with our friends on who could get to the highest waves on each tier.
This is a great game because you arent overpowered in the beginning, its pretty challenging actually in the start and it takes a long time to even get good. Its really awesome and fun! Its not a game you delete two hours later.
The game is great with an amazing soundtrack color scheme aesthetic background and a bit of difficulty in the beginning but it gets muck easier later in the game labs do take a while though and it takes a while to get coins from a round as they can go for hours but an overwhelmingly positive experience.
This isnt a true idle game. You cant even leave the TD battle at all without it pausing. Would be nice to be able to leave the app and still have the battle continue. The upgrades are challenging and can take over 2-3 weeks (maybe more im not there yet) to complete unless you pay your way with the in game currency which you can earn or purchase. Some of the upgrades seem to be more in the pay to upgrade category, though. Fun game overall. Id give more like 3.5 stars to be honest.
Game is fun starting out and while we like a challenge its not much fun running the same thing over and over just to get coins to level up only to make it another 10 rounds and have to do the same over and over. Maybe more towers/ better upgrades and definitely needs to go at 5x speed.
We started losing well before the enemy attack even got near our absolute defense.
It gets pretty repetitive sometimes but if you can just leave it on in the background to get past that its enjoyable. Also, just a warning, seems to eat battery life pretty quickly.
Its a great idle game but you have to leave the app open, and the speed up feature works too slow (at least initially) to make much of a difference. Super addicting though.
All the guys who hate on this game are just like oh progress is too slow and oh we lost progress and give it 1 star this game is amazing dont listen to those fools.

We were just scrolling for some fun incremental progressional games and we stumbled upon this. At first we thought it looked quite simple. The layout and the upgrades were what you expected out of every mediocre game. But after playing for a while, there was so much more upgrades and improvements throughout the game. It was beginning to look like a unique game. Overall, this game is one of a kind. Its so fun and engaging to play. Great job developers for creating the game. Love playing it.
Its a little slow at first but it picks up. There is a lot to do so it is a lasting game. Somewhat strategic.
We like the game very much simple but fun and it does not have to many ads just reward which is why we like it the most.
Its a good game overall just wish it was more multiplayer like adding clans or missions or chats with players.
We rarely ever write reviews but this game deserves some feedback. Most of the reviews seem to be on the same page, progression is slow (not necessarily a bad thing) and we can appreciate that it doesn’t force any ads in your face between games rather gives you the option. Ads The downside with that, is when you do accept an ad there is no guarantee to receive the reward. What we mean by this, is we’ve had multiple encounters where after watch the 30 second ad, then waiting another 10s for the X to be available (and then sometimes A THIRD TIME before we can close it) sometimes the final X doesnt appear at all and we get stuck in the ad and have to force quit the game, not receiving the reward after wasting 30-50 seconds. Gameplay Again, slower progression but not all a bad thing, it has a pretty balanced pace imo to allow the game to be playable for far longer than some other games. The UI is simple, and unlocking additional features (the lab) and other perks as you progress keeps it refreshed and enjoyable even at extended durations. Shop The further you progress the less useful the shop becomes, truly the only good value is the 3 permanent boosts especially if you buy them at the beginning, allowing for a change in progression speed if the game is a bit too slow. OVERALL This is an awesome game to kill time, the balance of the game is fantastic and the only part that is losing the last start is the glitchy ads (to which that could be known and intentionally left to encourage people to buy the no ads) otherwise these developers did a fantastic job and we look forward to see future games along with improvements to this one!
Love the solo tower defense concept, but progression in the game is extremely slow. Gems are also few and far between. We dont mind watching the ads for the gems, but there are so few. Good game though.
Just not sure if the weekly 14.99$ thing has to be purchased every week which would be ridiculous.
We love the retro look. Its reasonably fun to play. Theres no need to think too hard. Good game.
So this is a fun game, and great for when you need something to take up your time when you are out of home. Though there is one thing we think could be different, and its how slow the start of the game is. It takes way too long to get strong enough to survive going bast round 10.
Every time we try to double coins at end of match, it gives us a rush Royale ad that freezes at the end and we get get our coins. Wont be watching ads anymore.
Fairly new to the game but we feel like itll take months of regular play to get anywhere. We havent even gotten to tier 2 and we’ve played a lot maybe 60-75 ruins and we feel like we’ve gotten nowhere.
We love the game, but we find myself not able to play it much because we know how much time we need to sink into it for any result. While we know a gem system is needed to monetize the game itself, the exponential growth in expenses for upgrading made it take a week just to get to level 100 in our spare time. It ruins the feeling of success, and makes each run seem like an effort to get the max amount of coins to afford a meagre upgrade to ability so we can last one more level on the next go around. If coins were more effective as a currency-at least at the start, and the game speed could be faster? Then gems wouldnt bother us to spend a buck here or there, since we know Im not tossing coins in a bottomless well knowing it will get us nowhere fast.
We’ve been playing this game for a while now and one of the things that we dont like about it so far is how long it takes you to power up your tower. If youre looking to play a game that allows you to quickly power up, this is not the game for you. Another thing is one of the utility abilities called interest/wave, should give you cash based upon a percentage of what you have banked, and not have a maximum of only 50 cash. Also, some thing we will never understand as to why app games do this is they make limited, exclusive in game, items, abilities, characters, etc. Doing this sort of thing makes us not want to invest our time in playing this game at all, if youre basically forcing us to use real world money to collect everything then in our opinion, thats unfair.
We like playing this game but we cant connect our game across devices. Wish progress was improved some as well.
This app has a bad habit of having one of many ads just freeze your game as soon as you get back on to claim the daily 15 gems. In our case, its usually after 700+ and of course because you have to close the game to restart it and didnt play 10 levels past the level you resumed on, ALL PROGRESS IS LOST. The premise and difficulty behind the game makes it ideal because you really cant get bored with the amount of stuff you can unlock, but Jesus to have to start over from scratch when the game is so freaking slow drives us insane. Kinda garbage.
Game itself is alright. Very very slow progress. Worse is the fact that every single ad freezes in game. Im not opposed to watching ads, in fact we try to watch extras for games we enjoy playing but the fact that every single one freezes and makes you have to force close and then obv doesnt give credit for watching it.
Lets say we go to bed and wake up with 800 coins from being away it would make it more rewarding. If you could make a way that you get coins even while youre away from the game. You can level up the amount you get while youre gone. Overall great game. Our one tweak.
We’ve tried for a few days now, every time we open the app it shows the developer then goes to a black screen indefinitely. We have a fully updated iPhone 14s so Im not sure if the problem is us or the game, but happy to change our rating once Im able to access the game.
