We played this game in our childhood and we remember it like yesterday.
We love this game and have played for years but ive noticed it almost never gets updated! Its so fun to play and has beautiful scenery and music, but we would love for it to be updated regularly like any other game.
It starts out slow but once you start building your home it gets challenging.
To anyone who likes to play a good phone game we really do recommend The Trail. Its fun and you get to learn how to problem solve. You get create a community of people from around the world and help each other out. Now for the creator PLEASE MAKE MORE UPDATES !!!! Its so fun and we want more.
Great game, you build on what you can make and so on, yes you may fall and loose everything in your pack but you cant die of anything so relatively low steaks.
Absolutely banger of a game but it needs to be updated, 10/10 recommend this game.
This is a great game that has kept us coming back every day. The only problem is that there are frequent crash issues. Despite that, Im still playing, so its worth it for us.
We played this years ago and loved it. Randomly thought about it today and fell in love all over again. It's the perfect game. It doesn't feel like a mobile game. Who knew that a walking and crafting game could be so much fun. A great game to past the time with too. So excited that we found it again.
Ive been playing this game for about 5-6 years and it is still fun and simple we just wish they would update the game more often.
The last three objectives would be nice to be able to finish and some new clothes would be nice and new occupations too.
The game is awesome and we really hope devs start reviving and updating it again soon.
Its a great game that teaches you basic survival techniques and makes you aware of how much energy and time you should really spend in one area.

Trying to write this review was difficult because we kept trying to pack everything wonderful about it into a few little words. Ive been playing The Trail since 2017, with some breaks in between. We always come back to this game. Ive brought it across 3 or 4 consecutive iPads, keeping our same, original avatar. After the initial quests are completed, there is still a lot of gameplay to enjoy. We moved out from our original town (now a ghost town) and eventually found an active group of benevolent new neighbors. There is a tiny, bare bones social feature in the saloon, but not required; just there for news about the town. The game offers many intentional challenges, but also gives the player autonomy to create their own challenges. The beautiful visual elements are sort of like Vincent van Gogh painted for Hanna-Barbera – complete with unique laws of physics. Grateful to the game creator for keeping it alive. Its perfect.

There is hardly any danger, competition nor time limit. Just invigorating gameplay.
Us and our brothers played this game when we where about 12 that was 6 years ago. And ever since wheve been hoping for an update sothat it could work again. And we gave up. We love the exploration/adventure aspect of this game. Its super satisfying discovering new lands, resources, and gear. The collaboration aspect with towns and other travelers on the trail is also great! If anything, we just really hope they fix a few bugs, such as not saving short term progress and especially the shelf-sharing duplication glitch.
Ive been playing this game on and off for years, since we were a kid. It has left such a huge impact on us to the point we cannot get it out of our head years later! It makes you use your brain, is relaxing and its fun. We recommend it for anyone and everyone.
Ive played been playing this game on and off for 5 years. We've lost our cloud saves many times because we deleted the game off our Ipad but we always come back. We're the kind of person who loves to max out games and there's a glitch with shelfs that makes it so you can duplicate items. So we always rush to Eden falls so we can get the most broken account ever and duplicate all of the unbreakable clothing and highest value items and get millions of chitzs easy peasy. Oh and also theres a racoon glitch that can be reached from the camp and make so you can complete quests really easily. Lol anyways the game is also very beautiful we love the art style (we just wish it had a larger rendering distance for the juicy details).
Ive played the game on and off since its release. We have had it for a while now and plan to keep it inevitably. Game is fun and enjoyable. Though have had some bugs lately in the game, lately after we exit and come back into the game after reaching a camp our progress does not save. Ive also had a bug in the lumberyard in town. We know this is an old game, there was an update recently after a long time, we hope they update more for bugs and to finish the game.
Ive always loved this game, have redownloaded it and played it on and off since we were in high school! Its always a blast and super chill, we live the mechanics and the stakes of having to stack your stuff! We get bored once we reach Eden Falls though but we think thats just us, its a super fun game and very light on the ads (which is a rare find today) these guys always make good games! If you like this one, definitely try out Godus.

We really like this game. We hope to make 10 items at a time. One at a time is a little time-consuming. Secondly, we hope to develop new maps.
Hackers are taking over the towns. Then when the hacker leaves the town half the town is destroyed and it leaves black spots on the empty plots of land. You visually can see the difference of the land of destruction. Stop the hackers.
PLEASE KEEP UPDATING THIS APP, this game is our favorite.

We remember playing this game when it first came out YEARS ago and redownloaded it yesterday and we still love it just the same, people are complaining that the developers gave up on this game (and it looked like they did) BUT theyve updated it two weeks ago sooo hopefully big things on the way!! This is the only phone game we enjoy and we plan on playing it for years to come! Good job on an excellent game team.
We played this game years ago and really enjoyed it. Honestly forgot about it til it came up on our Steam page, and figured Id try the free app again. Its a nice cozy feeling after a busy week where we need some low-key game time. Im sure fresh air would feel even more lovely, but Im home and exhausted so this hits the spot.

This game is really fun. There are so many stupid games that we have tried and deleted. But this is one of the good ones. We just wish the developers would finish the game. There are a lot of people playing it, but there hasnt been new content added in years. There are objectives that you cant complete because the developers stopped making more content.

As one of the enduring classics, you see the loyalty to your game is still out there. It is truly unique, the developers used quality staff on the various sections of the trail to provide surprises in artistry and visual style. Games come and go, this one we always keep and return to. We got to the trails end more than once, we delete and return as a new avatar. That offers you an idea of how well your game design is balanced as to effort vs reward. Please consider continuing to update and expand the areas you addressed in early 2025. You have so many followers.

We really really love this game and Ive almost play it for three times but like every time when we delete the app is because its not updating anymore but every time we re download again theres one thing its we miss all our data. Im not sure if its part of the game, but we still miss the people in our community. Hope is there is a way to re-logging their character that we have before.
We love this game and would like to continue playing it. However there are quite a few bugs and it keeps crashing, specifically when we get to our town/ house and try to back out of it.
Ive been playing this game for years. Its an amazing game with beautiful graphics. Unfortunately, its been crashing every few minutes lately. We have a newer phone and plenty of space, while also having restarted our phone, and yet the problem persists. We also have been having a glitch where when we craft an item, it gets stuck on the screen. If we close the game and reopen it, that fixes the problem, but clearly thats annoying. Other than all of that, this game is beautiful, nicely simple, and deserves more attention.

Ive almost completely maxed out all recipes and we have traveled every leg of the trail we can, and unfortunately have seen no signs of further development of this wonderful and unique game; Please come back and continue developing this game, it would make us, our entire group of friends, all the citizens of our town, and Im sure many other players so happy to see an update to this game.
Its a little buggy m..Im surprised it never has any updates for it but its still a fun game. It makes our boring days go by faster. Its a nice little survival travel game.
We love this game except for how it keeps kicking us off everytime we get out our house and go back to the trail from the town to a camp Im sitting at.
We played this several years ago and really enjoyed it except it didnt seem like there were new destinations being created. We also had the problem of not being able to run the app after installing the the most recent backup. We have started over.
