Game has been very fun from start, every once in a while ill go a day without playing, but then im right back to playing everyday throughout the day. Grinding the game is fun and it gives you few things to do and grind other then the normal story levels you go through, and interesting things like fusing duplicate characters to get higher rarities and better qualitys, seperate mode that gives you special gear. One problem that probably will drive people away is sometimes you get to a point where you cant get any higher of a level in any possible way on any character, cant buy anything to make anyone better, cant promote, nothing at all, waiting for daily rewards and auto search to finally give you enough supplies to get better characters and items. Playing the way we do you can usually get through that point in less then a day. But everything aside this game is amazing. 100% recommend.

We are completely unsatisfied with this game it glitches way too often they seem to have problem saving our progress rightIt doesnt seem to let us change any of the forms settings or coupons at all and Ive had to start over twice because its logged us out and wouldnt let us log back in which means it took our in game purchases.

The game wont even open so we can play it. We let it sit on the same screen for 10 minutes and it wont work. How do you make a game that others cant even open to play it.

Just like several other TWD games for iOS. Nothing new or interesting. Designed to make money, not be fun.

Loving the game love it a lot everything runs smooth and awesome and amazing we dont think itll happen but it be pretty awesome to see Daryl Dixon added as a character.

Food game just needs to add the tv exsclusive characters.

TWD is prob our fav series out there, so when we heard it had a few mobile games for it, we decided to download some, and boy did they not live up to the hype. This game tho, was NOT at all what we had expected. After playing the Micro-transaction packed TWD: Survival, we found about this game from its character art, and decided to download it. The opening is fire, and Ive watched a few times now, and the gameplay is pretty solid. Get a few units from summons, level up the units, use the units to clear stages, and do some events along the way. Except, there reaches a point where the game begins to become painful to play. One of the features of the game is locked behind a 16 stage level requirement, and at stage 6 things start getting hard. We ourselves have only gotten up to stage 9, and already our units get shredded by the AI. Ofc, u could just UPGRADE the units, get them stronger so that u can face off against tougher enemies, but even that is difficult, as leveling them up past Level 100 requires 2 copies of that unit! Idk how they expect us to level up a character past 100 and somehow clear a stage containing multiple level 145 units!! It feels like its trying to force the micro transactions out of us, and we refuse to budge. The only way to enjoy this game is to get lucky. Hope u pull 2 of the same unit, which all have the same pull chance, and level up that unit with Event rewards. Also, if u dont have Abraham, ur as good as dead.

Typical cash grab trash. Overabundance of imbalanced characters and difficulty spikes. Hoping you will make an irrational purchase out of frustration. Nobody should be putting money in this. Be better than that.

Feels like less of a money grab.

The game is pretty addicting. Its easy to log in, do your tasks quickly in our down time and get back to what we were doing. Progression is pretty steady and they offer quite a few free rewards. Its pretty easy to get the premium currency gold so we never find ourselves tempted to buy it because they give you so much that we feel its not worth buying gold.

Always fun, doesnt feel too grindy, daily events always have us coming back for more.

This game has a lot of potential. That been said there are issues. One – its buggy. Chat has been offline for days and the game randomly lags and crashes. Two – the community website is a mess. It does not display correctly on iPhone (or maybe does and is just constructed that poorly) and is rife with typos and bugs (ex. Survey and forum comments that will not save, these actions be required to receive in game rewards). Three – this game is not F2P if you want to enjoy it. You will eventually hit a wall of progression and need to wait for a week(s) to advance or pay hundreds of dollars. Ex. #1 Headhunt mode gives you a 2% chance to get a specific character. After 30 headhunts we have not gotten a single character and you need dozens to promote a full team. We are currently on a run of 30+ regular recruits with a single epic character and the chance of you getting a useful one that was is probably less than .5%. Ex. 2 the current event offers the chance to get specific characters IF you have decked out toons from all alignments. Seeing as we have a really good squad that has two of the four, that means there is no possible way to advance.

Fun, great community, frequent updates. Walking dead skins are nice too. Love it.

We love this game so much. This is one of those games that we have yet to get bored of and its been a while since we downloaded it. If possible we would love to see exclusive characters that were only on the show, or even more characters from the comics would be awesome.

It was an amazing game honestly but you get to a point where you cant level your characters up anymore because its impossible to promote them unless you pay cash to buy gold and get them that way. We just wish there was an easier way to receive epic characters in the game without special events. Like maybe a system where you can quick search old story missions and receive character pieces that way. We dont know its an amazing game we just feel like theres nothing we can do with it anymore.

This is an awesome game just when it comes to customer service it is left lacking . So essentially if you have an issue expected about 3 to 5 day turn around and in the meantime forget about the current events going on. If they were a little more prompt this game would be perfect.

We downloaded the new update and lost all progress backed up by apple and Game Center.

Updated the game, and now it doesnt work. Keeps saying something about lost communication with server.

We gotta say Ive been searching for years for a game that follows the comic book style with the characters more then the tv show and we can say that this is amazing. Its one of our favorites. And that you guys added Jesus. Amazing. Other walking dead games havent added him and we were never sure why. But we love this game.

Hey, you guys, could you consider doing a crossover with The Walking Dead: Road to Survival? We really like their survivor characters and itd be neat to have some of their originals here.

The game is amazing, feels just like our first gacha. The only problem is once you get to a point where youve done a lot of stage you just have to wait a day or two to get resources to be able to fight next stage. If there was another way to grind instead of having to wait id rate 5* easily.

This game NEEDS attention; it is the BEST Walking Dead game alongside the TellTale version. If Im remembering correctly, this company also made TWD: Match 3 Tales that sadly shut down, and it was our favorite game :( This game is SO well written, the graphics are PHENOMENAL, and it truly is such a fun game with all of the favorites, and follows along the actual stories. They dont beg you for money, and is such a fun play. Please stick around.

Hi. We actually love this game, like a lot. We finished the comic, and it was amazing. However, we just want to have a young Maggie, and maybe an older Lydia and Sophia, like how it is in the comic. The old Maggie is nice, but we think we can all agree that the younger Maggie would be amazing. Thank you.

The game is stable, fun, and an excellent way into the world of the walking dead. The only issue Ive found is that after about 40 minutes the game will force close once and needs to be restarted. Nothing to fret over. Usually by that time youll be finished with whatever you need to do. Other than that, have fun.

We have not done a review in a long time we just got this game its really fun how ever its been crashing every time we would do almost anything the game would crash and it keeps getting worse with every update.

The game is fun, and its not difficult to excel, but, we will say its difficult to get characters that are familiar faces without paying money.

When developers care about what they put out, you get work like this! This game is not micro-transaction heavy to where you feel you have to pay in order to win, this game give you the choice to grind which is fun to do so this game is GREAT and AMAZING good job guys and gals.

Im not very much into Idle RPGs, but this is definitely one of the most fun mobile games Ive ever played. All we have to do is build our team and start the match, then our characters can automatically. This is a fun and easy game.

Finally a true TWD game we could enjoy yes Ive play no man and survival but when we saw this one we were waiting for it . We completely give it a 5 no matter what anyone says.

Love the Game, the art style is really accurate to the comics, the characters backstorys are really interesting and over all its a fun game to play to just chillax with.

The game is literally just AFK Arena with The Walking Dead aesthetic placed over it. Thats not a bad thing. AFK Arena IS one of the better semi-idle/afk games, so they chose a good one to copy. You can absolutely play as a f2p player. Theyre generous with the in game premium currency that is obtainable simply by playing the game and doing certain tasks. You will hit a wall where youre going to have to wait for the XP/food to build up so you can level your survivors, but thats the nature of these types of games. This isnt a game youll blow through in a fat. Its meant to be played over a long period of time. That said, Im enjoying it. We loved afk arena. If you do decide you want to spend some money on it to support the studio, get one of the monthly benefits that give you daily login rewards for 30-31 days at a time.

We love the toons you can obtain and all the sorts of modes you can come across to gain more loot and enhance your survivors, making them stronger BUT the main and only issue in this game is you can finish all tasks in about 30m up to an hour (not counting the first 1-2 hour wait time for some tasks to return) and then your forced to wait 2 days later to play anything else again. Why force us to wait 34 hours before basement or supply run refresh a day is understandable but 2 is just silly? A stupidly redundant idea. Not to mention your given 2-4 dispatch missions and then thats it. You gotta wait the same amount of days. Your basically making it a game to play like 3 times every week which lessons the enjoyment or the experience. It doesnt help for the fact it leaves you in a position where your stuck in campaign and you just have to wait. For everything. As we said, For 2 days. Its just why?!! Other then that, great gameplay and extremely entertaining game. Hope to see more improvements, survivors and modes to come~.

This game is like AFK arena! Super fun and addicting not gonna lie. We do hope you guys as the developers bring in like some more characters from the TV show like Daryl or Maggie or Carol. And it expand the map as well.

Pretty fun game overall. You can get a lot of really fun hours out of this until you eventually hit "The Wall". There are several points you'll eventually hit where you simply cannot make any more meaningful progress in the main game without waiting several days at a time for daily rewards and events to get just a little bit stronger and make a tiny bit more progress. We have spent a total of 11 dollars on this game and that has gotten us a fair bit further than a true F2P player would have made it in the same amount of time. However now we are at another wall where we just cannot beat the current level we are on without upgrading our characters SIGNIFICANTLY and to do that would take us days if not weeks to wait 24 hours to log in for 20 mins to collect our rewards and do a couple daily missions, OR we could just throw a 20$ at the problem and it would go away. All in all if you're the type of person that spends hundreds of dollars on mobile games then this is pretty good, but if you are strictly f2p or only willing to spend a couple bucks here and there we'd say skip over it or play until you hit a wall then move on.

This is a cool game you just have to level up your people do other fun stuff and all is good.

Real nice afk arena clone with walking dead skins. They give tons of free stuff. Wish there were ads to watch in the store for some extra gold, but honestly with as much as they give you in the start you should have a solid foundation to have a good amount of fun on the game. The chat is alright pretty inappropriate at times.

We like the game so far, but its taking a bit to load.

Theres nothing new here. Aside from the TWD theme and some nice comic book art, its a slow plodding character collector with the same old gameplay youll find in other games of this type. They definitely need to speed up combat. Since these games ask for reviews before weve unlocked everything, there may be another fast forward option later on, but not sure.

Game crashes every 2 minutes. Do battle crash do a battle crash. Looks cool if only we could actually play.

Playing the tutorial and we just unlocked Hailey. Once you add her to the team it says, You can drag your character to any positions you want. And then has an arrow over Hailey suggesting you hold and drag her to the middle. We cant click on her or anything. When we go to, the only thing that happens is the bullet effect when to tap on the screen. The game is bugged and we cant get past this part of the tutorial. Tried resetting but picks up where we left off. Seems like a cool game but we cant even play it due to this bug.

So far Im enjoying the game but will update our review is there are any real negatives.

We love the art style and no stressful gameplay.

Just started this game today. As a fan of The Walking Dead, we really like this game. It appeals to us in a lot of ways. There are several different modes of play including campaign and a lot of events.
