A Glimpse into The Witch’s Isle
On a solitary island somewhat removed from the continent, there is a town—a town ruled by a witch.
One night, one of the villagers gets a sudden visit from a witch, who puts her under a curse. If she doesn’t find the witch’s stolen urn by 4:00 a.m., the curse will kill her. She begins her search, but along the way she starts hearing more and more about the secret of the witch.

If you like IB or the Witchs house then this game will be right up your alley. We cannot stress how intensely we played and obsessively completed all the achievements because it was that good. Plus its free like really what more do you need?
Actually such a cool game, its really interesting, and free, totally dope.
This is one of the best app games we have ever played. You start off as a child cursed to die by morning if you dont find the Witch Urn. There are multiple endings in this point and click style game… Each more interesting then the last. We love the look of the game; its very simplistic (with pixel graphics) and captures the mystery of this world. We also appreciate if you get lost you can get a hint. Our only complaint is that when we exit the menu an ad pops up. We currently have sad end 1 and normal end! We cant wait to continue this new addiction ;)
So cute we loved the story line and mystery. We also thought it was a good challenge because you have to go back to get a good ending. Over all one of the best games we’ve ever played and would totally play another like it! Hope to see some new story lines/games like this in the future!!
Its crazy that its free?? So many endings, so many choicesand the story is complex with high amounts of ambiguous morality that just makes it fascinating to play. We cant recommend this game enough!
Im kinda stuck at the part where after you talk to the thief but other than that this game is really good and we highly recommend this game.
Its honestly a great game. We look forward to other games the developer has in the future if any. The time limit is a bit tricky but we enjoyed the story nonetheless. Super immersive with the story line, easy functionality. A must if you have time.
This game has been our very favorite for a long time. Just recently, we discovered that theres even different episodes and its just really really cool. For improvement, we hope that you could fix the hints, after we watched an advertisement the hint didnt show up and then no ads showed up after we pressed it again. Either way, we love this game!!

While this game isnt for everyone, its a great game nevertheless. It takes multiple tries, which gets you multiple endings, which gets you closer and closer to the true ending. You may not get it at first, but each mystery you find makes you feel like youve accomplished something. It has a fantastic story, unique characters, a beautiful setting, and its awesome. We just hope there are more games like this in the future- definitely has made us a fan, and Ill be recommending this to more of our friends!
Honestly we really enjoyed this game!!1000/100 The visuals are really rustic but its really beautiful!! We love how you can walk around the whole town and theres secret places you can only find when you keep looking around town and as you progress in the game!! Its a really big town so it might take a couple tries to get it right!! Theres like 5 different endings you can get and you progress is saved if time runs out. Definitely recommend and its a free game!!

This is an amazing, immersive adventure with engaging gameplay and a good story to go with it. It deserves more attention. However, the true ending lies in this weird little mechanic you have to notice quickly from the first time youre in the Witchs Castle. We wouldnt have known the ending we got, which was very unsatisfying, wasnt the best we would get unless we looked up the various endings. Look for the tutorial on YouTube. Otherwise, excellent game!
So far we have only played through it once and we LOVED it. The art was great and the lore really draws you in. There is on problem which is why it is only a four star. We couldnt see the end. When we actually got to the end and triggered the final cutscene the witch was off screen and so was her speech bubble. We could see the very top of the bubble in the bottom left corner of our phone and that was if. We had no idea what was going on. We thought maybe we triggered the cutscene but then moved away but it would only trigger where we were originally standing. Restarted the app several times and it made no difference. Im so far hoping it was a one-time fluke, but it was kinda disappointing. Will definitely play again to see if we can fix it. One other thing is the controls. They are a little slow. We like how they are, but maybe a joystick or something would make the game flow a little better (especially on mobile). Not a huge grip, but just something we figured we would mention. In the end though we absolutely love the game and cant wait to keep playing!!
It was fun! Until it became so glitchy it stopped working completely. Please fix the bugs so we can enjoy this game again!

This is by far the best game we have ever played. We live it so much. It is so well thought out and the graphics are so beautiful.
We got the true end and we unlocked episode. But we got stuck when we had to find feather. We have paper and ink. Where do we find the feather? Great game overall.
Love the game but wish there were more endings and paths. What really annoys us is that there is a glitch where we get stuck on the ramparts and cant get back up to the other levels.
The game is interesting and fun, but we can’t seem to save our game even though both of our save slots are empty. Every time we try it just says it can’t save during cutscenes or while you’re moving, and we’re doing neither! Please fix!
Loved this game!! Reminded us of the old Kings Quest games we used to play on the PC as a kid. The story was great and the game play was simple yet challenging and completely entertaining. Make more games like this please!
We absolutely adore this game. It’s mysterious, fun, full of surprises, and just flat out cool. It’s a great time passer. We wish we could give it 10 stars.
The game looks nice, but we would like to play it if we could. When we start it up, the game freezes at the first screen when you start it up and then it crashes. We’ve even deleted it and re-installed it. But it still crashes at the first screen. Please see this review and fix it soon!

We really enjoyed everything about this game! The art, sounds, and storyline are really great stuff! The only problem we have with it are the ads which appear when you want to go back to the game (going to inventory then back). We’re not sure if it’s a bug, but at times it freezes and then closes the entire app. The game still leaves off where we were (even w/o saving) so it’s still playable. Still, the game and it’s click-based oriented puzzles/ tasks are really cool. I’d support the artists and programmers for future games.
We’ve been play games like the early Pokmon for gba and any type of sims games( we’re a simulation/ strategy/ adventure gamers. We love games like these because it will keep us busy and excited. Our only one wish is it was longer. We won’t go into specifics like you guys should let us design characters and stuff like that because we understand this is a iPhone game. But we like what’s going on and will support future games.
This is a well-thought-out game- with a lot of lore and adventure. We haven’t come anywhere close to finishing this masterpiece yet, but we can safely say this is one of our favorite games. The graphics? Absolutely beautiful. Soundtrack? Perfect. Characters? So many- and all with schedules and bios! Plot? At the start we were like ‘An interesting concept but not too surprising’. Then the turn-arounds… There’re plenty of puzzles to solve (and if you’re a bit slow like us, there are hints so don’t fret). We’ve gotten the sad and normal ending so far… And boy, am we in deep… EDIT: The Witch’s Isle is coming out on Steam tomorrow! We’re looking extremely forward to that~!
This game was so fun! We downloaded it to play while stuck in Hurricane Irma and couldn’t put it down. Super fun puzzle, but the only reason it’s getting a 4/5 is we closed the game by accident and lost all our progress because we forgot to manually save. Which we think is lame. Also, we wanted so much more from the ending!! But it was well worth the play.
Not sure it deserves a full two stars. We solved with and without the sword (the sword is to the left of the witches throne room go left at top of stais before you click to enter throne room to get the sword.) Very slow pace, difficult to solve only because it is so counter intuitive. Every time you click on a character it repeats tired dialogue. The art and scenery is interesting, good concept just needs more content and faster pace.
Way too many glitches and game keeps closing out. Got a decent ways through and made a character a target and now it won’t let us remove him as our target. Had to start over, but now it freezes on the start up screen. Very frustrating and would love to keep playing but it seems we will have to delete it for now until the developers can work out the glitches. RESPONSE: we are using an iPad with IOS 10.3.3.
We got it before the save feature and it was a good game. The save feature has made it 10x better. With it we were able to get all of the achievements. This game is definitely worth your time.
The game is so great! The story is what really fuels this game, and we hope you are able to make a sequel. We will be cheering you on!
When we first played this game, it was upon initial release. Which meant it came with all the bugs and unfinished moments. Now with the update we were able to complete the story in whole. We really enjoyed the graphics and the art style of the game, very simplistic and charming. The story, as well, is really amazing. There is so much depth to it and really gives layers to the protagonist… Highly recommended!
Bizarre deus ex machina?? But it could have been forgiven if the plot was constructed better. 3 stars is generous considering.
The old man can have goddess statue, we need the secrets of how to become sleepy also play this game if you like good things!
"Targeted" another character (why does this feature even exist?!) and now can’t back to our character or control the game. Also can’t restart bc it still goes to the other character. Buggy.

Wow, this game was beautiful. We absolutely loved it. The story like was very good, with multiple possible endings. Above all, the art was gorgeous. Movement and item usage was a bit cumbersome, but we were willing to let that go by focusing on the story and environment. We really liked the "follow another character" feature, we thought it was very creative. We can’t believe this game was free. We donated at the end because the developer deserves it for beautiful storytelling. Thanks for this!

We would have gladly paid for this game. It’s beautiful, the art, the story, the concept. It’s a perfect mix of creepy and cute. Some parts were confusing like hidden objects and rooms but you’d have to be stupid to not figure it out eventually. We’ve also only gotten 3 ending and want to get the other ones but am not sure how to! We would play this game countless times to figure it out though. One of the best mobile games we’ve ever played in our opinion a strong second to monument valley. Good job guys.
