Played for about 4 campaigns including the tutorial. And once you get matched with players with a legendary hero, you have no option but to wait until they destroy you or spend money to buy yourself a legendary hero. We were defending a city with 18 purple heroes (all max lv and 3 stars) and still didn't stand a chance against our opponent who smashed us with legendary Lu Bu. The game wouldn't let you surrender once the game starts so our opponent just toyed us around until decided to finish us. So those of you like us who don't wish to spend money but are Three Kingdom (TK) fans, look for different TK games OR play until you get yourself a legendary hero.
Great game for killing time if you enjoy the Romance of the Three Kingdoms games you should really enjoy it.
The game is so satisfying but can you and more building space for the towns and can you add barracks and a place to heal warriors.
Server error for several hours already.
Charged us but did not give us gold.

This game over all is great but often the experience player bully new player ,that is sad we m going to uninstall now.
After the initial login rewards where you get 3 orange legendary heroes, it becomes impossible to get any more orange legendary heroes. In this game legendary orange heroes wins, everything else is useless to compare. So how can you win if you can no longer acquire orange legendary heroes? Well, there is a way, you pay, hundreds upward thousands to be able to acquire enough. The free recruit will always give you blue and useless purple every 5 days, yes thats right every 5 days. Waiting for orange, forget it. Waste of time, there is no possible way you can win in this game. Literally, this is a game you play to lose. Or surrender so you can remain at lower level where you dont get smashed. So surrender, or lose, whats the difference. Delete the game.
Its alright, game idea is good! Only way to be successful, is to spend money. And its not worth it.
Been playing and we got on today and the sever lost all our saved data really a pet peeve.
This game was created first for Asian players and later arrived to the US market. Overall we find the game play very good, you dont have to spend money to have fun but if you want to grow powerful it makes it hard not to. We have been playing for almost a year now and have seen some good improvements but continue to have a hard time getting proper help when reaching out to the ingame customer service. Whenever we report a bug or issue we get a cookie cut response and not a resolution. This is very frustrating at times and can be very irritating when they are at fault and refuse to fix the problem. An example would be that if a player loses an item during one of their updates they will blame the player and not replace the lost item.
Seeing the actual battles is fantastic, and most games lie in their ads about this. Time zones are fixed, and theres a great community behind this game. Love it.
Good fun strategy game. It keeps us awake all day. We like Three Kingdoms game and always try. And this game is two thumbs up on gameplay. But please fix 2 things: 1. Graphic. The English on screen for some reason got cut off or doesnt fit the text box. This kind of sloppy graphic doesnt look professional. 2. Timezone. Please put people in the same timezone together. We changed ours to UTC+7, 07:00-15:00 to fit our schedule. We live in Los Angeles. But then the other players are on Asian time. So when we are awake, theyre resting and we get charged 10x provision when its our time to play the game. So theyre resting for 8 hrs, then when theyre awake, we are the one resting. So eventhough we want to spend more time on the game, but the 10x provision makes it really expensive to attack. So we only have 8 hours when we can attack our opponents normally, the other 16 hours, we get charged 10x provision. Not fun. 3. As the levels get higher the difference between money and non-money players become starker. So we stopped playing because suddenly the game doesnt seem balanced. We saved up our resources to be able to go on a full attack and after a tough fair balanced battles, many times the opponents still have soldiers in the ten of thousands. How is that possible? Well, you know the answer.
This game is designed for super rich players (be prepared to pay 5k+ USD) if you wanna play in the top tier, or bottom tier if you just enjoy being hunted. And dont believe in randomness in the game, they only want your money not your good experience, thus be prepared for super small chance event, e.g. Draw orange hero card package 8 times with 6 duplicated heros.
Money win , u pay u win. Simple.
Moves somewhat slow but still challenging. Takes awhile to pick up nuances.
This game has a lot of potential. We dont normally play games like this because of the paying to win aspect. We think what could make this game different from other pay to win games would be to have a separate server for people who dont want to pay for anything you know a server without the option to pay for stuff. We think it makes it more challenging when you dont pay for upgrades and what ever else. Having to pay just to get a victory kinda takes the fun out of it. Especially if your up against someone who seems to have a vault full of money to pay for stuff instead of waiting for the cool down period to be over.
Hi When we rally troops from 70 cities to 1 city its ok, but when we rally again from 70 cities to that city about 2 minutes later (so its totally 140 transport to 1 city) application is hanging. When we close app and open it again, it jumps out of application and we cant go to game.
Much more interactive, but we can remember playing these games growing up. Very excited to do so again.
Only thing we hate is the bad match ups. You go to bed and wake up to find everything gone as most everyone is from a different country so you stand little chance. Dont bother paying money as it will be a waste.
While the game concept is good and versatile and developers do update the game, they have become money hungry and changed reward system to benefit only people who spend A TON of money. Some money isnt enough for them. This will make the number of players dwindle and no opponents will make this game very boring. Further before u spend a lot of time on this game realize that with the changes they make to make it harder to play without money makes even money spenders have to spend a lot more time and money to ever compete with older players who got the benefit of the better reward system.
Hey devs we have a question, how do you take over another player castle with 45,000 troops defending with an attacking army of only 9,000 troops?! Ill tell you, you grab your credit card and instantly upgrade all of your generals!!! We just witnessed a player with a single army of six generals conquer the entire territory in less than 45 minutes. Deleting.
Log in, waiting loading screen, then get kicked out .. Not only 1 but a lot.

We love this game first off. But 1 star is what we think it deserves right now. Its so unbalanced with the heros. Mi zhu and mi fang at 3 stars with combo are impossible to kill because of the dodge ability. It either needs nerfed or removed all together. Also you will run into players who literally can not be stopped. You can out number them by 50k Troops and they will still only lose maybe 2k. Playing against Asian players you will always lose most of them cheat or have hacked the system and you cant report them for it. Fun game extremely unbalanced and need huge fixes.

It makes you to think to compose your troops and equip it with best available items you have. Take city by city against your opponent, overall its very good game.

Yes it can be a pay to win and there are farmers in the game but overall its a fun game and you can easily hold your own. We definitely recommend it for those who love romance of the three kingdoms like us.

Ive been enjoying the game so far and its a fast mobile version of the rotk games on PC and video game consoles. Obviously since its mobile it has to be less complex but overall this game still has a lot of options especially in your army creation.
This game is addicted to play and take most of our time. Game play is also good. Character is also attractive to play. But Some heros are extremely powerful and some are so weak. We think need balance to get fair play. Also city must have more free land than small town. Dispite it, it is a good game.
Honestly we loved this from the first time we played it. It is a challenging game and fun for play with friend. But we hope you guys can balancing the game between cash spending and time spending. We hope you guys can add some more tips and mor warsouls into the game whoever spend much time can get it.
